Images threatening attacks in London and other major world capitals have been posted on messaging app Telegram, according to analysts at SITE Intelligence Group. One picture chillingly shows New York’s Statue of Liberty engulfed in flames but with the caption “Washington soon” - referring to the US capital 225 miles away. The threat comes as security at British churches is being ramped up amid a new terror alert after ISIS knifemen forced a French priest to kneel before slitting his throat on camera. The source of the threats against London and Washington and whether they are credible is unknown. It comes after ISIS terrorists forced an elderly parish priest to kneel before filming themselves slitting his throat on Tuesday. Father Jacques Hamel, 85, was made to get to his knees before he was brutally butchered at the Church of the Gambetta in Normandy today, says a nun who escaped the attack. British counter-terror police have now “circulated specific advice” to churches across the UK amid fears of a similar attack. Metropolitan Police Deputy Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu said: “Following recent events in France, we are reiterating our protective security advice to Christian places of worship and have circulated specific advice today. “We are also taking this opportunity to remind them to review their security arrangements as a precaution. He added: “There is no specific intelligence relating to attacks against the Christian community in the UK. “However, as we have seen, Daesh and other terrorist groups have targeted Christian as well as Jewish and other faith groups in the West and beyond. While the threat from terrorism remains unchanged at severe we urge the public to be vigilant.”...

Abdullah reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Be on your guard against committing oppression, for oppression is a darkness on the Day of Resurrection, and be on your guard against petty mindedness for petty mindedness destroyed those who were before you, as it incited them to shed blood and make lawful what was unlawful for them.

So neither molest the game, nor weed out thorns from it. And it is not lawful for anyone to pick up a thing dropped but one who makes public announcement of it. And it a relative of anyone is killed he is entitled to opt for one of two things. Either he should be paid blood-money or he can take life as (a just retribution).

        “To go forth in the morning or evening to fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and everything in it.

    • Are you on Parish Council or the equivalent? If so: raise the subject of security at the next meeting and cite what was done to this French parish priest.

      If you’re not a Parish councillor/ church warden/ etc, raise the issue with whoever in your congregation *is*. And with your priest, parson, vicar, rector or minister.

      and no harm in doing a walkaround your church grounds and building/s and having a good long think about exits and entries and lines of sight. Where is Sunday School conducted, if you have one? (They would be a prime target).

      How visible is your church? What’s access like? Where is it in relation to other landmarks of significance? (Town hall, police station, school, pub, for example). And… how far away is the nearest mosque and how many mohammedans are there in the immediate vicinity… one suburb away? … two suburbs away?… in your town or city?

    • When in Church go armed use sentries and have a plan to defend your lives. If you preacher objects fire him and get another.
      Form committees of Safety within your community just like your neighborhood watch.

  5. Around the early 80s whilst living in Lincoln, I saw a tv show. Mind, I was about 10 years old and about to have my first interaction with Islam
    The show was political and the chap being interviewed was a muslim leader of the early version of the muslim council of Great Britain. I wish this was on youtube, it was incredible.
    This muslim leader actually stated that muslims living in the UK need their own seperate state within the UK. He spoke of creating a new country, an islamic one.
    Lovely people huh?

      Actually, Carmel, there is nothing surprising about this. Muslims only use Taqiyya–lie about the threat of Islam–when they feel they have to lull the Infidels into a false sense of security.

      When Muslim believe they are strong enough, they drop the mask. For instance, you won’t find the Islamic State telling their Christian and Yezidi sex slaves that “Islam respects women”, nor telling their beheading or crucifixion victims that “Islam is a religion of peace”.

      So the only reason for this dichotomy in the West is that some Muslims believe Taqiyya is still useful, and some feel the need for it has passed.

      These are what the erudite Hugh Fitzgerald refers to as the “slow Jihadists”, and the “fast Jihadists”. Their tactics differ somewhat–for now–but their goals are the same.

  12. Prisons are probably the most fertile ground for recruiting jihadi’s. Today, in a London prison they found lslamic books which should have been banned. The ‘Milestones’ book is carried by every Jihadi on the battlefield, to my knowledge.

      The latter is exemplified again and again in The “justice” system here (in Europe), which routinely sides with perpetrators and neglects the victims thus adding insult to injury. Theodore Dalrymple has repeatedly called attention to this unjustifiably and misplaced leniency on behalf of the courts in his writings. It is the subversion of roles also here. The courts should occasionally administer severe temporal punishments and leave the administration of grace to the church – to the extent this institution exists.

    • Back in the 17th century, when there was trouble with the Indigenes, Puritan settlers used to go to church in parties with the men armed. I pray it will not come to this.

      I refuse to be intimidated about going to church. I will meet with brothers and sisters to hear the Gospel preached, and that is that.

      My bigger fear, however, is a “progressive” government that might jail ministers for refusing to bless SSM or shit down institutions for refusing to pay for abortions. I’m pretty sure churches will lose tax exemptions during the next 10-15 years, though; but what I fear is the wrath of prog governments when they find they can’t get much out of the typical storefront or country church.

        • The nuclear destruction of Mecca would have been the right thing and “enough of the necessary thing” in response to 9/11. Saudi Arabia, from where most of the 9/11 attackers originated, was and still is the paymaster of too many Western politicians including you know who.
          I am convinced this course of action will eventually become as necessary as it was against Japan at the end of WWII or we will all be under sharia by 2050 or sooner.

    Poland is quite smart.

    Firstly what we are now calling PC to them sounds like its straight out of the communist state media. I suppose on the bright side – no one who speaks out of line – disappears.

    After communism – Poles have gotten out and about and see that this integration has largely failed in France and in Germany – and when pressure was put on them to take thousands of these new migrants – they quite wisely said – that they don’t think they can do a better job than France or Germany has been able to do.

    On the Pope’s visit it was rumored that he was going to try to persuade them to take their migrant quota. This was before the Catholic church attack – at least.

    What integration has come to mean – is quite startling – don’t rape the women and don’t attack people – for not following your religion – for not abiding by your religious laws. It is simply hard to see how this is going to go away any time soon.

    And remember it was just a few years ago – in the Netherlands, France and Germany – what has been called ‘hate’ but is really war against the west was being preached openly in the mosques. This is not simply about ISIS and the internet.

  29. The Metro police don’t have a chance until the UK authorities investigate every mosque and interrogate every Imam. With Sadiq Khan at the helm of London it won’t happen.
    Imagine if natural born Christian Britons made the same threats toward Islam and mosques.
    They’d be doing time with the two chaps who put bacon on a mosque door, verbally assaulted a Muslim and waved the flag of St George. With all due respect this is a one way slaughter waiting to happen.

    • In Japan, it has been ruled by the courts that it’s all right for the Intelligence Service there to do surveillance and spying on mosques to see if the imams (Japanese of foreign) are preaching hatred of non-Muslims and incitement to violent jihad. Most Japanese are Shinto or Buddhist (or a syncretic mixture of the two, or non-religious. There are are also small numbers of Christians as well as Muslims. The point is, is that most Japanese are “kuffars” and would be sentenced to death under strict Shariah Law, so they have every right to be concerned about Islamist extremism and terrorism, especially since Japanese citizens abroad have been murdered by Daesh and al-Qaeda, and a Saudi student vandalized statues of Buddha in a Tokyo shrine a couple of years ago.

      The U.K, France and other countries could perhaps take a cue from this.
