“He’s a good Frenchman. He’s soft. I know my kid. I know by son…..He’s not at all the monster that people want us to believe.”
Those words are from the mother of Abdelmalik Petitjean, one of the “sick” Islamic State jihadists who slit the throat of an elderly priest during morning mass after first forcing the 86-year-old Father Jacques Hamel to his knees. The two jihadists then captured the gruesome murder on tape and declared (pictured below): “we give Bayah (allegiance) to Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi”.
Al-Baghdadi has invoked Qur’anic verses to command his followers, teaching them to strike fear into unbelievers as the Qur’an dictates, and has openly declared Islamic war against disbelievers:
“It is unprecedented in the history of our Ummah (Islamic nation) that all the world came against it in one battle, as it is happening today. It is the battle of all the disbelievers against all the Muslims.”
He also stated that if “the Saudi-led alliance was truly Islamic, then it would fight the Syrian army and its Russian ‘masters,’ as well as Shiites and Jews”.
Petitjean’s mother cannot believe that this “devil” is actually her son as she declares: “I didn’t produce a devil. No, no, it’s impossible.” If she is being honest, her chilling words of denial in the face of her son’s confirmed “sick” action indicate the capability of jihadist doctrine to foster in its adherents a bloodthirsty fanaticism and religious zeal that was unrecognizable even to a mother.
“Mum of ISIS terrorist who killed priest: ‘He’s not the monster. He’s soft'”, by Peter Allen, Mirror UK, July 28, 2016:
The mother of one of the sick ISIS militants who slit open a priest’s throat during morning mass claims ‘he’s not a monster’.
Abdelmalik Petitjean, 19, stormed the church in Normandy with Adel Kermiche and forced 85-year-old Father Jacques Hamel to his knees before butchering him in front of nuns and worshippers.
Petitjean, who used the fighter name Abu Omar, was put on the terrorist watch list after trying to get to the ISIS caliphate in Syria via Turkey last month.
His mother Yamina Petitjean was shown a photograph of her son by France’s terrorism unit UCLAT.
She told officers: “Yes, that’s him. He’s a good Frenchman. He’s soft. I know my kid. I know by son. He’s not implicated in any of this.”
Yamina added: “He’s not at all the monster that people want us to believe.”
Speaking from her home Aix-le-Bain, she told BFM TV: “I didn’t produce a devil. No, no it’s impossible.”
Police revealed that her son had been shot in the face repeatedly, and was so impossible to immediately identify and DNA confirmed who he was.
She said that she had spent the weekend with Petitjean at home in Aix-les-Bains, and she thought “he had gone to stay with a cousin” in Lorraine, another region of France.
The mother said that the last time she heard from Petitjean was when he sent a text early on Tuesday morning.
The security source said that DNA had in fact confirmed Petitjean as the man who helped murder Father Jacques on Tuesday morning.
A chilling video released by the Islamic State group’s Amaq news agency yesterday, purportedly showing the two terrorists pledging their allegiance to the terrorist organisation.
In the disturbing footage, the 19-year-old fanatics express their support to the group’s leader.
They say “we give Bayah (allegiance)” to Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi”, who was elected leader of the organisation in 2014 and is considered a “global terrorist”.
They also display a piece of paper, featuring the ISIS flag.
At the start of the video, one of the men – said to be Adel Kermiche – dressed in a camouflage jacket and a black hat, introduces himself in Arabic as Abu Jalil Al-Hanafi.
The other, believed to be Petitjean, sits on the floor next to him, wearing beige trousers, a hat and a red scarf over his head.
It was captured before the pair brutally slit the throat of Father Jacques Hamel, 85, after forcing him to kneel at a church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray.
During the horrific assault, the two knifeman stormed the church through a rear door during morning mass, before taking a number of hostages.
They then forced an elderly member of the congregation to film them butchering Father Hamel with a blade – as anti-terror cops surrounded the building.
The terrorists, who also made their captives kneel on the ground, were later shot dead after emerging into the courtyard outside shouting “Allahu Akbar”….
