Jihad Watch

Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

“I’ve spent eight years in Afghanistan and it was the loudest and the most heavy blast I have ever experienced”

Aug 1, 2016 12:54 pm By Robert Spencer

The Taliban, more assertive and aggressive than ever. Americans killed, billions spent, resources poured out — all for nothing.

Afghan

“Kabul explosion: Foreign compound targeted by Taliban,” BBC, August 1, 2016:

A compound housing foreign contractors in the Afghan capital, Kabul, has come under attack from Taliban fighters.

A huge explosion was heard across the city about 01:25 local time on Monday (20:55 GMT Sunday).

Kabul police chief Abdel Rahman Rahimi told the BBC a lorry bomb went off at the gate of the North Gate compound and then two gunmen went inside.

In a gun battle one police officer and both attackers were killed, and the attack is now over, police say.

Three police officers were injured during the gun battle that lasted for several hours, Mr Rahimi told the BBC’s Mahfouz Zubaide in Kabul.

No one staying at the compound was injured.

North Gate is mainly used by foreigners. It is a heavily guarded compound, which was attacked by militants three years ago.
Big explosion

Power in parts of Kabul was briefly cut off shortly after the explosion.

“I was about to go to sleep when the explosion happened. The power went off,” said local resident Inamullah Khan. “It was a very big explosion. It was very big.”

“I’ve spent eight years in Afghanistan and it was the loudest and the most heavy blast I have ever experienced,” said Andreas Wilmers, chief operating officer of Afghanistan Broadcast System.

He said security around Kabul was more relaxed at night.

“The control of the Afghan police, its so-called ring of steel… those checkpoints are basically operational during the day, but in the night they are not really manned,” he added….

Even the idea of having worthwhile, constructive “negotiations” with the Taliban is sheer folly. For the deceptive and disingenuous Taliban have proven many times over, by their own actions, that they are a ruthless, brutal vicious gang of thugs with no honor. So in any kind of “dialogue” the Taliban will speak the truth only when it happened to suite them. The rest of the time they will be speaking half-truths and also be outright lying. Likewise, the Taliban will keep their word in anything that they may happen to promise only and long as in fits into their agenda and no longer. So before engaging of the foolishness of attempting to have genuine “talks for a peace alliance” with Taliban, the officials of the current government would do well to heed the wisdom of Sun Tzu found in THE ART OF WAR. For it instructs “We cannot enter into an alliance neighboring’s princes, until we are acquainted with their designs.” To put this in a more updated and current way, it may be said that “We cannot enter into a peace alliance with the Taliban until we know the actual intentions and real schemes.”

With reference to Sun Tzu, does the American public know the design held by the powers over our own government? Is the proposed alliance sincere in order to use it and acceptance of Marxism to facilitate imposition of the New World Order?

The Muslim/jihadists, who make up the Taliban, as well as other Muslims, are shackled within the Cave of Islam. What is meant by this statement is explained by the following. The Greek philosopher Plato is one of the contributors to Western Civilization. He may shed some light into the subject of those people who are shackled in the chains and darkness of Islamic thought. In Plato’s REPUBLIC he gave an allegory of a cave where “the condition of men living in a sort of cavernous chamber…Here they have been from childhood, chained by leg and also by the neck, so that they cannot move and see only what is in front of them.” This can fit into what the Imams do in the mosques and how they brainwash the young people in the madrassa’s by always programming Islamic doctrine into their victims and not exposing them to other worldviews. Furthermore, even in Islamic tradition when Muslims have their newborn child the father whispers words of the Quran into the infants ear so that that Quran verses are the first thing the newborn person hears. This programming process takes place all their lives. These are some of the chains that keep them bound in a mosque [cave]. The chains do not let them reach out for dialectic reasoning and let them examine the evidence both for as well as against, or even question whether Muhammad was a true prophet of God or not, and if the Quran is a hoax or not. As the chains and darkness of the cave blinds and holds the prisoners back from reality, so Islamic propaganda holds back the cognition to reason with the question if Islam is true or not. They are forbidden from even thinking to question Islam. Furthermore, if a Muslim by some miracle wakes up to the truth about Islam, it would be like the man in Plato’s cave allegory who was released from his chains and taken outside to the real world. At first direct light would be painful and disorienting, it would take some time for him to understand what the truth is all about, he even might cling to the shadows and still for a time believe some of the illusions to be real. But he would finally come to know “what he had formerly seen was meaningless illusion.” And that was “what passed for wisdom in his former dewelling-place.”And that the other cave prisoners also needed to see the light [the truth] for he “was sorry for them.” and he would re-enter the cave just to rescue them. Nevertheless, the cave prisoners wouldn’t understand and “if they could lay hand on the man who was trying to set them free.” And if they could “they would kill him.” Likewise, when someone escapes from the shackles of Islam, those still in the darkness of this religion would not understand and if possible kill him for leaving Islam, and even more so if he were to try to enlighten them about the truth about Islam. For these people in Islam are chained to an empty imitation of truth and godliness.

So right you are! Those truths are far more worthy than the products of our best academic social science studies or the schemes of our various institutions and foundations … Brookings, Cato, Heritage, Ford, Rockefeller … If any of the wisdom of early thinkers is applied, it is based on motives seeking to keep others in darkness, not, despite any pretence, to illuminate.

    Off Topic — Hillary Clinton
I have noticed that this mean old hag Hillary appears to be very depressed.
    She tries to hide it.

She must have realzed by now that Huma does not love her and never has loved her at all. Somehow she thought that everything would be different this time that Huma would love her for who she was unlike lecherous Bill.

Billions spent for nothing is right. My own son after being back from Afghanistan, has massive nightmares . In his dreams constantly calling his buddies name at the battle field or in the bunker, watch out, Talibans are out there or something like it struggling not to fall sleep at night and now we have this D…bag, Khan whose son was murdered by terrorists and jihadists looking for a pat in the back. While muslims are running around slaughtering innocent people like sheep, Clinton brings this guy on stage trying to justify Islam and Jihad. As we say in Iran: “No one’s blood is redder that the other one”. Thousands of people were murdered by jihadists in Afghanistan and Iraq. While I am sure his son was a patriotic American, his dad played the best car in his hands: “Victim hood card”. The most effective card a muslim can have. m

its west habit to interfere in other countries matters , at Pakistan border an alien ( USA) force is destroying Afghanistan after drama of 9/11 which planned by Israel and performed by saudis ,is causing problems in Pakistan , USA is Democracy advocate and do not like Iraqi Saddam ,Libyan Qaddafi , Syrian Assad etc regimes and instead of let people decide USA attacked these countries which killed ,destroyed lives + future of whole nations along with their homelands which lay in ruins and children afraid + uneducated etc. but at the same time USA has no problem with Saudi royal family regime which is same in dictatorship and worse in human tights abuses
not to mention colonial period in which west colonized 52 countries with killings and worse violence to natives , still hold some lands like USA ,south Africa ,Canada ,Australia etc

see documentary ” seven sisters ” online to see how west supported corrupt rulers to fool and kill people for oil

USA+ west feel sorry for Iraq invasion ( tony Blair + Hilary said that )
USA said same thing after attacking Vietnam , Obama said attacking Libya was mistake after rise of Isis there
after refugees crises west feel sorry for attacking and helping armed opposition against Assad regime
it turned out its west habit or SOP ( standard operating procedure ) to lobby against a country, attack it ,after ruining it just say sorry

why not USA pays all those millions of peoples whose families + lives + future have been torn apart by USA + west attacks at least in last 15 years
west + USA sorry will not feed their children

War is always messy and a bad thing

but west seems to love it ww1 ,ww2 and coming soon ww3
record attack on 6 Muslim countries since 2001

B-2 spirit stealth bomber costs 2.2 billion to build and carries 40,000 lbs in ordinance including nuclear capability. To prevent cost and American life we know what Harry Truman would do. We have not followed suit and yet Muslims have been carrying Jihad and slaughter for 1400.years. There is no comparing our past conflicts with continued Muslim barbarism on the world and each other.

Taking Jihad and slaughter out of the Qu’ran is the only way to limit the next generation of Muslims from continuing the unrelenting blood bath or the biggest boom we’ve ever seen will most likely occur. My hope is that this does not happen which never seems effect anything one way or the other except for myself and those around me.

The only variable is whether there will be launch by N Korea, Iran or a terrorist suitcase bomb attack first. There are no if anymore its a matter of when and where. I don’t put it past the US or Russia to pre-empt a nuclear strike.

We are witnessing things I never even imagined not just the cowardly attacks either. Its no stretch to see the water has boiled and the frog is almost dead.
