Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Jihad attack on American University in Afghanistan

Aug 24, 2016 10:58 pm By Christine Douglass-Williams

One security guard was murdered and 21 students were injured when jihadis stormed American University in Afghanistan with guns and explosives.

The Chief of Kabul police’s criminal investigation department, Fraidoon Obaidi, now reports that two attackers have been killed.

Three weeks ago, the school suspended campus operations after two teachers were kidnapped at gunpoint. Their whereabouts still remain unknown.

This attack shows the continued strength of the Taliban and other anti-American forces that are poised to take power again as soon as the Americans are gone.

“Attack on American University in Kabul Ends”, by Michael Edison Hayden, ABC News, August 24, 2016:

An attack on The American University of Afghanistan in Kabul has ended, according to The Associated Press.

At least seven were killed and more than 30 were injured in the attack, The AP reported. The victims have not been publicly identified.

About 700 students were rescued, according to The AP.

The U.S. State Department this morning acknowledged reports of the attack on an official Twitter account, posting, “Reports of attack on American University in Kabul. Exercise caution, avoid unnecessary movement in the area & monitor news for updates.”

State Department Director of Office of Press Relations Elizabeth Trudeau later read a statement saying that they “condemn this attack in the strongest possible terms.”

“An attack on a university is an attack on the future of Afghanistan. Our embassy in Kabul, as well as our NATO counterparts of the Resolute Support Mission, are closely monitoring the situation as we are. We understand this situation is ongoing.

“We do understand there are small numbers of Resolute Support advisers who are assisting their Afghan counterparts as Afghan forces are responding as this situation develops. These advisers are not taking a combat role but advising Afghan counterparts,” she said.

“We are in the process of accounting for all chief of mission personnel and working to locate and assist any U.S. citizens affected by these attacks. The U.S. embassy in Kabul did issue a security message warning U.S. citizens of the attack and advising them to avoid the area until further notice. Our travel warning for Afghanistan warns U.S. citizens against travel to Afghanistan because of the continued instability and threats by terror attacks against U.S. citizens,” she said.

Massoud Hossaini, a photographer for The Associated Press, tweeted that he was trapped inside during the attack.

“Help we are stuck inside AUAF and shooting flollowed [sic] by Explo this maybe my last tweets,” he wrote.

The AP later reported that he was safe and had escaped from the school.

The attackers managed to enter Noor Hospital, adjacent to the school, according to eyewitnesses.

The American University of Afghanistan opened in 2006 and was a pet project of former first lady Laura Bush, who helped launch the institution on a 2005 visit to Kabul, the capital….

Funny question this, obviously that’s the only institution in the world to help imbibe the virtues of Talibanism and bring it home to America.

Remember when a long, long time ago in a galaxy far far away, Captain Kirk and the crew of the USS Enterprise went around spreading the radical concepts of the US Constitution to the clueless civilizations of other worlds ? Compare that idea now to what the US Really did in Afghanistan : instead of sharing the goodness and idealism of radical freedom, the American policy-makers prepared a Sharia Constitution for the so-called Afghan Parliament which by its very existence contradicts Islamic principles.

No wonder the Afghans want the Us out so they can happily continue with regular Talibanism.

Oh, but it’s in “the strongest possible terms.” That makes it really tough talk – lol.

Can you imagine a father saying to his kid that just got a DUI, “I condemn your behavior in the strongest possible terms!”

I realize the USA meant well, but I’m not sure it was such a great idea to have helped the Afghan Mujahideen throw out the Russians (circa 1989). Yes, I know that the USA and former USSR were enemies, but at least in the case of fighting Islam, the two countries should have made common cause.

And even after the Cold War ended and the Soviet Union collapsed, in the mid-1990s, there was the USA once again helping the Jihadis, this time in Kosovo. The Russians were unwilling and unable to get involved, so they had to stand around in horror watch as their Serbian allies got pounded by US bombs. And what did the USA gain from that exercise?

Well, that’s “ancient” history. But it’s now repeating itself, with the USA helping the “moderate rebels” (ie ISIS) in Syria, but the Russians this time are more able to do something about that. You’d think that Obama/Hillary would realize the error of pursuing a pro-jihad agenda, but apparently not. Sometimes America doesn’t seem to know who its friends are. This could all end rather disastrously.

Just this morning on Fox News, that network had reported that This terror attack in Kabul ,Afghanistan was committed by the Taliban . So as for now ,this is the most recent information. Nevertheless, if the jihad attack was, indeed, committed by the Taliban , or Al Qaeda , ISIS or some other like-minded Islamic terror entity, the point is that all such violent and deadly Islamic terror organizations are based on the “holy book’ of Islam .The Koran, as some call this religious book the Quran This leads to a very important question: “Is the Quran the Word of God or is it a fabrication of a man. Thus, is the Quran the truth or a fiction and a hoax ?” The jihadists, as the Taliban, use many verses from the Quran as the main source of justification for their violence, mayhem and murders. As found in For example, 4:89. 5:33. 9:5,111,123. 47:4. The answer is clearly given on pages 145 through 157 in THE ISLAMIC INVASION by Robert Morey in which he wrote a section on the Quran with its self-contradictions. Just two of the many he cited are the following “The Quran differs on whether a day is a thousand years or fifty thousand years in God’s sight’ and “Who was first to believe? Abraham or Moses [Sura 6:14 versus 7:143]? The above is inconsistent and illogical. Further, Morey wrote about “The fact that Judaism and Christianity broke up into different sects was used in the Quran to prove that they are not of God [Suras 30:20-32. 42:13, 14]. Yet Islam has broken up into many warring sects and therefore cannot be true if the Quran is right.” Moreover, Morey in his book shows many more contradictions and absurdities in the Quran, there are and how Muhammad incorporated extra Biblical and Jewish folklore along with pre-Islamic Arabian myth and parts of Zoroastrian and Hindu stories into the Quran. Furthermore, the Muslims claim that “the Quran is the direct, literal word of God unmodified in any way by the Prophet who uttered them at the bidding of God.” Nevertheless, in the book UNVEILING ISLAM by Ergun Mehmet and Eethi Caner has shown that the Quran was modified in the following account on pages 45. “Muhammad felt the need to improve on the words of Allah, since he changed Allah’s wisdom for his own on several occasions. A hadith tells of the nonchalant emendations of Muhammad:’ On a number of occasions he [a scribe] had, with the Prophet’s consent changed the closing words of verses. For example, when the prophet had said ‘God is mighty and wise ‘ Adbollah b. Abi Sarh suggested writing down ‘Knowing and wise’ and the Prophet answered that there was no objection. Having observed a succession of changes of this type, Adbollah renounced Islam on the grounds that revelations, if from God could not be changed at the prompting of a scribe such as himself. After his apostasy he went to Mecca and joined the Qorayshites.’ Other writers reveal that later Muhammad and his people did go war with the Qorayshites and he personally killed Abdollah. Obviously Abdollah knew too much and Muhammad wanted Abdollah’s knowledge to die with him.” In conclusion, the Quran is not only a fiction, it’s also a hoax.

    Here is American University: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_University
Although its founding was Methodist, it is actually a Progressive “Wisconsin Idea” type establishment with a less than savory political/military history.
I wouldn’t doubt that any genuine religious institution would have trouble with it, today, Christian or Muslim.
It’s a Progressive Indoctrination Center designed to turn out the type of “leaders” with which we’ve become all too familiar, like Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton.
Much as I hate to say it, I’m kind of with the Taliban on this episode of “Prog versus Muzzie”.
Point of fact, they deserve each other.
They’re both Totalitarians at heart and I really don’t have much more use for the one than the other.
The only real chance we ever had to “win hearts and minds” went up in smoke when Davy Petreous burned all those Christian Bibles.
I really don’t think that Afghans are going to take to Progressive Atheism any more than they did to the Soviet variety, especially given how little difference there really is between the two.
