Indonesia: Muslims attack 200 Christians at church, harass priest for reading Bible

Christians of the West, behold your future. Yes, yes, a bit of “dialogue” will fix this right up, no?

“Muslim Radicals Attack 200 Christians at Indonesian Church, Harass Priest for Reading the Bible,” by Stoyan Zaimov, Christian Post, September 8, 2016:

Islamic radicals attacked 200 Christians at a Catholic mass in Indonesia, including children, and forced a priest to flee the church after he was threatened by the mob who harassed him as he read the Bible during a memorial service.

AsiaNews reported on Wednesday that the incident occurred earlier this week at the church of St. Peter Purwosari, near Surakarta in Central Java, where 200 Christians had gathered to celebrate mass 1,000 days after the death of one of their loved ones.

Usually such commemorations are held at the house of a family member, but this time village elders gave permission for the gathering to take place at a public facility, due to the large number of people. Several non-Catholics, including the village chief, were also in attendance.

The two Muslim attackers who entered the building started to heckle and insult the priest after the first reading of the Bible, and although they were removed by police, they came back with a larger group of people and shut down the mass.

“Just after communion they began to intimidate those present, including children, demanding that the mass be interrupted. Eventually the priest, Fr. Adrianus Sulistiyono, was forced to flee along with his assistant,” one of the Catholic witnesses said.

The potential affiliation of the attackers to any known terror groups was not made immediately clear.

Christians in Indonesia have been on edge over a potential attack, with a teenage supporter of the Islamic State terror group coming close to killing hundreds of worshipers in another incident in Medan, the capital of North Sumatra, in late August.

The 18-year-old attacker was reportedly carrying a backpack full of explosives as he attended the Sunday mass among Christians. But when the bomb failed to go off, he pulled out an axe and attacked the Catholic priest.

Later it was revealed that the suspect, identified as Ivan Armadi Hasugian, had been inspired by the leader of the IS jihadi group, which has been carrying out a genocide against Christians and other minorities in the territories of Iraq and Syria.

Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister Wiranto said that the 18-year-old had become “obsessed” with Abu Bakar al-Baghdadi, the leader of IS.

“Having been fed misleading news on the internet, he became obsessed [with al-Baghdadi],” he said of the suspect.

National Police spokesperson Brig. Gen. Agus Rianto added that Hasugian had been paid $753.86 to carry out the attack by a “mastermind,” who has not yet been identified….

    Really?

What misleading Internet “news” is he referring to, exactly?”

Let’s not dwell. As Rachel Maddow said, “Muslims don’t have a lock on bigotry.”

Do you actually trust Rachel MAD COW?

When describing what “(led up)” to the Orlando gay nightclub shooting, this gay traitor lesbian bowed to Islam when she then talked about everything ‘homophobic’ EXCEPT Islamic bigotry.

David Stockman ( served in the Reagan Administration) wrote that the creep who murdered the people in the orlando nightclub DID NOT DO IT as a jihad/Muslim thing. He was (paraphrasing) because of he was confused of his sexuality, and that he was not a devout Muslim, as de drank alcoholic beverages; ate pork products, etc. Therefore, he killed 49 or so people. PLANNED.

The right, it seems, goes along with the left in ignoring and makes excuses of Islamic terrorists.

If you think back a decade or so, Indonesia was held up by the MSM as a “moderate” mohammedan country. Apparently, nobody bothered to tell the mohammedans in Indonesia that they were supposed to be “moderate”. It might be a good time to start–that is, if it would actually do any good.

Turkey was viewed in the same way by the west — as an example of how Islam could successfully co-exist within the framework of a secular democracy. We see now how that noble experiment is turning out, undone by Islam’s evil inertia.

Islam’s inherently supremacist, oppressive and fascistic nature inevitably manages to egg on its adherents to fulfill their basest instincts of conquest and aggression, like any totalitarian ideology.

Sultan Kinish the other day had an interesting article-his suggestion- rather then try and stabilize the Middle east- destabilize it- so that the terrorists are fighting ( and killing ) each other. He alluded to the Iran/Iraq War in the 1980’s- ( without explicitly mentioning it) as where terrorists killed other terrorists, and so busy doing so, left others alone.

I would love to see ISIS and Al Queida get into a massive war with Hezbollah. A battle to the last person, but breaks for all sides to get reinforcements.

As far as I can tell, the only country in the entire muslim world that has made any meaningful progress toward becoming a Western style secular democracy is Tunisia, and its long term prospects are not great. Tunisia has the failed state of Libya to its east and the near-failed state of Algeria to the west.

A very large number of daesh jihadis have come out of Tunisia and when they grow tired of creating mayhem in Iraq and Syria they will return home to foul their own nest.

Jihadist tendencies are always just below the surface of seemingly “moderate Indonesia”. In the 1990’s hundreds of Christians in the Maluku Spice Islands were killed by muslim fanatics. Any region where there are Christians they are at risk. Note again from this story the ineffectual Police protection of the Christian group.

  5. Guy Jones says

Note the the article’s headline and opening sentence, describing the attackers as “Muslim radicals” and “Islamic radicals,” respectively. Why not simply characterize the attackers as “Muslims,” without the “radical” adjective? After all, Muslims follow an ideology whose basic tenets instruct them to kill or conquer non-Muslims. Is this not already a supremacist ideology that is properly deemed to be “radical?” The phrase “Muslim radical” is as absurd as calling someone a “Nazi radical.” As if there is another type of Nazi that exists? It’s a total redundancy.

The attempts by politicians and the media to create sub-gradations of Islam that have no basis in theology or history (e.g., “radical Islam;” “moderate Islam;” “Islamism”) reflect the naivete, delusion and intellectual myopia of our age.

Part Seven; Is Allah the same as the God of the Jews and Christians? (from The UNdoing:Islam by its own words, get your freee copy of this amazing e-book or read it online here;- http://abelandsolomon.simplesite.com/424568444 for the bigger picture read Islamic Apocalypse;- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AS09LYW )

    One God, or different deities?
The word “Allah” today simply means “the deity”, so religions other than Islam also use this word in Arabic to refer to their gods. This does not mean that they are the same spiritual entity, we have to consider their attributes as revealed in the sacred writings to discover whether or not they are the same. The Koran says; (9:2) “ye cannot escape Allah…”, (113:2) “…the evil He created”, (74:56) “He is the fount of fear”, (16:70); “Allah… causeth you to die”, (22:6) “Allah quickeneth the dead”, (32:13) “will fill hell with the jinn and mankind together”, (2:167) “They will never get out of the fire”. From such verses it is very apparent that Islamic Allah is not the same as the God of the Bible who is described very differently; “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life” (Gospel of John 3:16), “God is love” (1 John 4:8), “Save others by snatching them out of the fire (of going to hell)” (Jude 1:23), “He is not the God of the dead but of the living” (Gospel of Mark 12:27). Islam’s Allah is very clearly not the same as the God of the Christians and Jews.

There is no god but God, so who is Allah?
Is Allah the Satan of the Bible? As we have seen Allah admits urging people into hell, he and his fallen angels are in charge there (74:30); “have We not only appointed angels to be wardens of the Fire…”. He assigns a demon to each Muslim (7:27); “We appointed devils as companions…” and thus fits Satan’s description as “Beelzebub, Prince of Demons”.

    The Star and Crescent
One of the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World”, was “the temple of great Artemis, of her image (idol) which fell from heaven” (Book of Acts 19:35). Artemis is the Greek name for the crescent moon goddess Diana and her image was much like Mecca’s Black Stone. John of Damascus in the Fount of Knowledge tells that the Black Stone has the likeness of Aphrodite (the Greek name for Venus), “who they (the Arabs) named Akbar in their own language”. Hence that Islamist shout of “Allahu Akbar” really is an invocation of the ancient goddess of war Venus, whose symbol is a five-pointed star. During WW2 author John Van Ess visiting the Ka’aba noted; “in one corner is the Black Stone, probably a meteorite, the kissing of which is now an essential part of the pilgrimage”. If the Hajj Pilgrimage and the direction of prayer of all Muslims are focussed on this egg shaped idol, once addressed as a female pagan deity, then it is evident, as many experts maintain, that Islam is actually paganism packaged as monotheism.

The church in this case, and the other church where the 18 year old had the explosives are both Catholic churches.

    Will the Pope say anything>?

In the case in Medan, in North Sumatra- the piece of crap wanted to blow up the church with the people there; in this case disrupted and (probably threatened) people in the church.

So, where is the leader of the Catholic Church standing and saying on behalf of “his flock”?

I guess the silence is deafening. Probably too busy trying to still protect pedofile priests. Or saying that islam is a peaceful religion. Or preaching Marxism- but not selling the Vatican’s treasures, nor living in poverty. (He-in a sense- reminds me of Jimmy Carter- he would carry empty suit cases off of AF 1- to show he is one of the people,. But the suitcases with his stuff- the Secret Service had to take off- away from the reporters. The Pope- gives up this status symbol and that, but probably lives in a sumptuous place with maid and servant service-

Should watch some of the old videos on Youtube about Muslims rioting in Indonesia. There are some real good photos of beheadings and gang rape with mutilation of Chinese girls if you can find them. Muslims do not consider it murder killing the kafir as only killing an animal.

    • Mazo says

      Sep 14, 2016 at 11:01 pm

None of those photos were from the May 1998 riots against ethnic. Chinese. Javanese looted Chinese shops and did not engage in beheadings.

There was a scandal over the photos which were false attributed to May 1998. The beheading photos are from Sulawesi, Sambas, Sampit, and Banyuwangi and involve native Indonesians slaughtering each other. The gang rape phtos were from a porn site. None of the photos were if Chinese. Look up the places I mentioned.

Mazo’s implication that there is no Jihad violence in Indonesia is quite false. Here is just one story:

“Indonesia: Muslim mobs attack churches, one dead, four wounded”

        https://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/10/indonesia-muslim-mobs-attack-churches-one-dead-four-wounded

His implication that Muslims have not beheaded victims in Indonesia is also false:

“Three Christian girls beheaded in Indonesia”

        https://www.jihadwatch.org/2005/10/three-christian-girls-beheaded-in-indonesia

Is he claiming that Asia News and the BBC are involved in “scandals” for reporting Muslim savagery, as well?

Cravenmirage is a twisted pathological liar and she knows it.

The beheading incident of the three girls was from Sulawesi. It involved native Indonesian Muslims against native Indonesian Christians. No Chinese were involved.

I stated “The beheading photos are from Sulawesi, Sambas, Sampit, and Banyuwangi and involve native Indonesians slaughtering each other.”

I explicitly stated that the beheading photos were not of Chinese but of native Indonesians and cravenmirage manages to twist this statement into saying”there is no jihad violence”

Cravenmirage, you know people can see my original post and see that you are lying? Even a retard can figure that out. What are you trying to accomplish?
