“Hausa youths attack Lagos chemist for blasphemy,” Punch, September 6, 2016:
There was confusion on Sunday in the Ketu area of Lagos State after some Hausa youths seized a chemist, identified as Emmanuel Emeka.
PUNCH Metro learnt that Emeka would have been lynched but for the intervention of policemen from the Ketu Police Division who quickly brought the situation under control.
A source told our correspondent that the victim had written a blasphemous word on a magazine, which triggered the anger of the youths.
The source said the police had already taken custody of the victim to save his life.
He added that the Hausa youths mobilised to destroy the victim’s shop, but were prevented by the policemen, who were deployed in the area.
He said, “It happened around 9pm on Sunday. The issue could have led to a bloody fight between Christians and Muslims in Ketu, but for the police.
“What happened was that the man wrote something on a magazine which the Hausa youths said was blasphemous. When other Hausa men saw it, they became angry and seized him.
“Some of his friends tried to rescue him and that almost started a fight. The police were alerted and they responded quickly and doused the rising tension.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident, adding that the situation was under control.
She also confirmed that Emeka was in police custody.
She said, “The Lagos State Police Command averted what could have been a religious crisis between the Igbo community and the Hausa Muslim community due to the timely intervention of its operatives….

I always quote Matthew 7:15-20 to Christians when I hear them making excuses for Islam or praising “interfaith dialogue”. Then I explain that Islamic literature, in the Hadith, clearly describes the “Prophet” Muhammad’s fruits as mass murder, rape, pillage, assassination, deception, sex slavery, paedophilia and by his own admission – terrorism (“I have been made victorious by terror”). Surely the fruits of a ravenous wolf, not of a genuine prophet. This is usually met with stares of disbelief amid accusations that I am anti-religion.

If Jesus hadn’t said that all the way back in 33 A.d., I would’ve sworn that he was talking about san Francisco.

No different, in nature, than what happened to Charlie Hebdo. Apparently, the “tiny sect of extremists” are getting their number’s worth…

I doubt that. What could the blasphemous word have been, and how could they have spotted it in a rack of magazines ?
I’d bet the chemist refused to give them free drugs.

A bunch of illiterate black slaves of Arab cultural imperialism willing to commit violence on behalf of the nonsensical ideology of their slave masters. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

For his own protection, of course.

Thank goodness there was a better outcome than there might have been in other countries, say, Pakistan. Judging from past stories in Jihad Watch and elsewhere, there, the Police wouldn’t have intervened and he would have been murdered.

The North of Nigeria (and some similar Countries in Westafrica) is depending 24hours a day on its Religion, the Islam.
Nothing goes without it,
That’s why most those North-Nigerian Moslems are backward orientated and very intolerant in matters of religious discussions. Since decades, the economy in the “Hausa-Land” is constantly failing and going further down, but money from Saudiarabia/Turkey is spreading to more and more Islamic Schools which are heavily influenced by hateful Imams.
It’s a very very scary development down there – Millions and Millions of fanatic Moslems are ready for the Jihad. The government is doing not much, many “Southerners” are saying, that Boko Haram has its fingers in Abuja too. Schooleducation intentionally remaining at a very low level.
So what now?

Many of them are already in Europe with many more on the way. Welcomed with open arms by Angela Merkel and her like.

Only a fragile faith could be adversely affected by scrutiny, critical analysis, ridicule or “blasphemy”.
Islam falls apart on all counts.
