Jihad Watch

Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Obama administration strikes Jerusalem from Israel

Sep 30, 2016 5:41 pm By Robert Spencer

Obama sides, as always, with the jihadist mythmaking that would obliterate the Jewish history of Jerusalem and replace it with a fabricated Islamic supremacst narrative.

“Obama Admin Strikes ‘Jerusalem’ From Israel,” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, September 30, 2016:

The Obama administration stripped Jerusalem from being located in Israel in its official communication of the president’s remarks in the ancient city at a memorial service for recently deceased former Israeli president Shimon Peres.

The White House, in a press release, originally sent out a press release attributing Obama’s remarks as taking place in “Jerusalem, Israel.”

Shortly after that statement was sent, the White House reissued the statement with “Israel” crossed out as the location.

The move follows a longstanding Obama administration policy of refusing to say that Jerusalem belongs to Israel. Doing so would prejudge the outcome of peace negotiations between the Israelis and Palestinians, the White House says. The White House has been caught in the past editing the captions on old official photographs to remove mention of Jerusalem as being in “Israel.”…

Who the devil cares how this disgusting excuse for an American president recognizes Jerusalem! This is the the same mess of a man who – Soviet and Islam-style – in 2009, in speeches to the Turkish parliament and then to the Muslim world from Cairo, re-wrote American history to reflect the version that suited his warped and infantile little mind. Reflecting the cowardly state of contemporary American society, not one historian of note came out and exposed this Obama history for the Islamic lie it was. Naturally CNN’s and Harvard University’s David Gergen – a master at ‘running with the hairs and hunting with the hounds’ – said nothing about the Obama lie.

Only an Almighty One could *change* history. A man or woman, or one masquerading as either, cannot change history. One may try to re-write books and erase captions and words, but the true history is not changed by an eraser or ink pen.

And true prophecy, history written in advance of the happening, cannot be stopped from happening by a pen or eraser. Jerusalem has, for centuries, been an integral part of Israel. An eraser in the hand of a moslim won’t change that fact. Nor will it change what has been foretold to happen in the near future.

Truly said. Jerusalem is mentioned so many times in the bible. There is so much archeology evidence of a Jewish and nation of Judea, Samaria and Israeli presence for thousands of years, despite those who would like to destroy it. They can dig and dig to erase it and will find Jewish evidence even at the bottom! Perhaps the times they are a-changing!

Just to add some detail to your correct comment, Carol, Jerusalem is mentioned over 600 times in the Old Testament and, when taking into account the New Testament as well, over 800 times in the Bible. By contrast, Jerusalem is NEVER mentioned in the Koran, not one damn time, and yet in full and typical control-freak and appropriation-of-everything mode, Islam claims Jerusalem, Al-Quds as Muslims call it, as belonging to Islam.

But then all the real estate on earth belongs to Islam eventually, as Islam sees things, and so no surprise here, none at all, that Islam claims Jerusalem as it own. No surprise either that the massive failure which is the 44th President of the United States would aid Islam in this bogus claim to Jerusalem since he too is bogus to the core, as Islam is.

I read your “By contrast, Jerusalem is NEVER mentioned in the Koran, not one damn time” and I immediately remembered Muhammad’s so called “Night journey” in which he is said to have flown to the Masjid Al Aqsa, the “Farthest Mosque”, in Jerusalem, riding upon “Buraq”, a winged steed.

I Googled it, and sure enough, I found a Wikipedia article mentioning Jerusalem all throughout the article. However, the article contradicts itself, just like Islam does. At one point it plainly admits that “the al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem was not built during Muhammad’s lifetime.” Well then, that is game over, right there, but the article goes on mentioning Jerusalem without pause.

Turns out that the Jerusalem interpretation was advanced by the earliest biographer of Muhammad (ca. 570-632) – Ibn Ishaq (ca. 704-761/770) – and is supported by numerous ahadith. So there you go, you have it on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, so who are you gonna believe? We even have two Western dhimmis who agree. “Many Western historians, such as Heribert Busse and Neal Robinson, agree that Jerusalem is the originally intended interpretation of the Quran. Muslims used to pray towards Jerusalem.”

As an aside, it is said that the al-Aqsa Mosque marks the place from which Muhammad is believed to have ascended to heaven. There he supposedly spoke with the earlier prophets such as Abraham, Moses, John the Baptist, and Jesus.

Clearly Muhammad was name dropping in an attempt to elevate himself, since there were no prophesies that anticipated this jerk. And I would very strongly doubt that Jesus, for one, would ever haven given this pedophile His blessing.

Many cities around the world are from time to time the focus of violent conflicts…But the city of Jerusalem—especially its Temple Mount—is again and again at the center of world attention….This is no surprise to anyone familiar with Bible prophecy…Dozens of prophecies indicate that the city of Jerusalem will dominate news headlines just before Jesus Christ’s return and the end of this age.

In recent years…seemingly endless political negotiations have been launched in pursuit of Middle East peace…Yet success has eluded every effort…just as the Bible predicted…God inspired the prophet Zechariah to write…more than 2,500 years ago…that “it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces” (Zechariah 12:3). For nearly a century… Jerusalem has fulfilled this prophecy…Britain…Israel and the United States have all tried—and failed—to bring peace to this troubled city and its region…Now the Europeans…the Russians…the United Nations and even the Vatican want to try to solve this age-old problem…According to Bible prophecy…all who try will fail—until Christ returns!

Zechariah recorded another end-time prophecy…Behold, the day of the Lord is coming…I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; the city shall be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city” (Zechariah 14:1–2). This prophecy appears to be on the verge of fulfillment…Jerusalem was devastated by the Babylonians in the seventh century bc…and by the Romans in 70ad…Later the Arabs…and then the Ottoman Turks…controlled the city…However, the prophesied end-time conquest and devastation will come at the hands of all the nations…In previous sieges…the entire city was conquered and laid waste…half—East Jerusalem—becomes the recognized capital of a full Palestinian state…as Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has proposed.

Jeremiah records another of God’s prophetic warnings to the people of Jerusalem…I will hand them over to trouble…to all kingdoms of the earth (Jeremiah 15:4)…Jerusalem has been dominated by individual nations at different times…but never by all the kingdoms of the earth…However…if United Nations observers and peacekeepers enter the picture…this prophecy will be fulfilled in a remarkable way…The Bible also reveals that Jerusalem’s future devastation will come suddenly at the hands of a multitude of nations (Jeremiah 6:26; 15:8; Isaiah 29:5; 30:13)…Recent decades’ developments in high-tech warfare…and anti-Israel hatreds inflamed by Arab nations and their allies…add ominous relevance to this prophecy.

Jesus Christ revealed an even greater significance of these Old Testament prophecies…When Jesus’ disciples asked Him, what will be the sign of Your [second] coming, and of the end of the age? (Matthew 24:3), He told them to watch for one particular development involving Jerusalem: When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near” (Luke 21:20). Christ went on to reveal that Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled (Luke 21:24). The Bible indicates that this end-time Gentile domination of Jerusalem will last for 42 months—three-and-a-half years (see Revelation 11:2)…Since 1948, the UN agenda has included an intention to place Jerusalem under international administration…This idea is gaining credence today…and variations of it have even been offered by popes and U.S. diplomats…In conjunction with numerous other prophesied end-time events…this should alert us to the real significance of the times in which we live (see Matthew 16:3; 24:32–34).

The Temple Mount is a focal point of religious interest in Jerusalem for three major religions…Though it was once the site of Solomon’s temple and of the Herodian temple during Jesus’ human lifetime…Jews are now forbidden to worship on the Temple Mount…which is now occupied by Islam’s Dome of the Rock…The Temple Mount has been called “the most volatile spot on the face of the earth…Bible prophecy indicates that significant events will occur on the Temple Mount just before Jesus Christ’s return. These events will be a warning—for those who have eyes to see—that the end of this present age is near!

Biblical prophecies describe two prominent individuals appearing on the world stage in the end times (see Revelation 20:10)…One is a powerful and persuasive political figure called the Beast (see Revelation 13:1–10; 17:12–13). The other is a highly influential religious figure known as the false prophet or man of sin (see Revelation 13:11–18; 2 Thessalonians 2)…The Bible reveals that they will focus their attention on Jerusalem—and on the Temple Mount in particular…These two Satan-inspired leaders will orchestrate two distinct events repeatedly mentioned in Scripture…They will cause the daily sacrifices to cease…and they will defile the temple sanctuary (see Daniel 8:11–12; 9:27; 11:31; 12:11)…These two distinct actions will take place in Jerusalem just before Christ’s return (Matthew 24:15; Mark 13:14)…However…before the daily sacrifices can be stopped…they must begin…And before a sanctuary can be defiled…it must be established…These two events will also be extremely significant. Watch for them to be stopped, when they are stopped, the Great Tribulation will begin, now, we can count 3 ½ years until Christ’s return. This 3 ½ years will be horrifying for the Earth, with the last year being the Day of The Lord, which promises to be so much more ominous than the previous 2 ½ years.

Remarkable as it may seem to secular minds today…plans are well underway in Jerusalem that may lead to the fulfillment of these ancient prophecies….Since 1967…Jewish scholars have been studying the location of previous temples on the Temple Mount…selecting and training priests and preparing the vessels necessary to reinstitute the daily sacrifices previously carried out in the temple…All that is needed is a place to erect a sanctuary…and permission to begin the sacrifices—which the Bible indicates will happen just before the end of this present age!

Daniel writes of a coming leader who will deceitfully enter into a covenant (Daniel 11:31–32) with the Jewish people—a covenant that appears to include the resumption of sacrifices and the construction of a sanctuary (Daniel 9:26–27)…perhaps in exchange for ceding East Jerusalem to the Palestinians…This agreement…however…will be abruptly broken after three years probably in an effort to enforce religious uniformity…The rebuilt sanctuary will then be defiled in some way…Antiochus Epiphanes’ actions in 168bc can be understood as
a prototype of end-time events…Antiochus attempted to exterminate the Jewish religion by placing a pagan idol in the temple and offering swine’s blood on the altar…Scripture describes the coming false prophet taking similar actions…He is described as one who actively opposes biblical religion and “sits as God in the temple of God…showing himself that he is God” (2 Thessalonians 2:4)…These long-foretold activities will take place in Jerusalem just before Christ’s Second Coming…Millions…unaware of these events’ true significance…will be deceived…However…this deception will end…Jerusalem will be liberated and peace will finally be established when Jesus Christ returns to establish the kingdom of God (Zechariah 12:7–9; 14:3–11).

You can avoid being misled by these momentous events if you understand what the Bible clearly reveals about the end times…Study your Bible….watch world events.

This Powerful force that invades the Middle East…will not be American…America will be under attack and seriously at the same time…this should make the watching even more ominous…and detailed…and the Middle Eastern folks had better understand the Armies under the Beast Power probably will not have any favorable rules of engagement…any perceived resistance will meet irresistible force.

Religions will survive empires because ideas are virtually immortal and only defeated by ideas. Roman values and identity have been subverted by Christanity and I wonder to which extent the same process conributed to the declline of the Western Empire and the success of the Eastern or Byzantine Empire. Islam suffers like all monotheisms off being religiously intolerant.

Islam unlike Judaism is not restricted to the own tribe. Islam unlike the other two does not even requiere to actually believe but only to submit. The offspring becomes muslim by submission of the parents and the religion formally doesn’t require more than some “weekly meetings” and a healthy dose of daily physicall excercise to signal other being a “real” muslim. There is no exposure to spiritualtiy. You could be a hard-core atheist and it would not cost you much to pass for a muslim for your lifetime.

Islam has no moral obligations to other religions and even less to the non-reigious among us. In a purely religous world, one dominated by priests it would wipe out the rest. It wouldn’t matter if you were persistent because in the realm of ideas Islam takes the “short cut” and off you are.

The future of Israel will not depend on “G-D” and his jewish-orthodox Israel haters put on IDF and Israels secular society.

All scientific evidence and testing over multiple disciplines and techniques all supporting and verifying each other independently and with repeatability by anybody, proves virtually everything in the Bible as complete mythological crap. Almost everything with regards to the mythology of the Jewish culture’s origins is GARBAGE including the ridiculous myth of slavery in Egypt and Moses and all the rest (ZERO ARCHAEOLOGICAL EVIDENCE — THE PYRAMIDS WERE BUILT BY EGYPTIANS ON NATIONAL CONSCRIPTION TO PAY TAXES LIKE MILITARY SERVICE — for example). They are only myths not history — just like every OTHER old culture in the world. HOWEVER, there is no question whatsoever that the Jews came from exactly where Israel is now, and it is indeed their national homeland. Jerusalem their capital. And there is no question whatsoever that Islam is the only MALEVOLENT mythological culture building in world history. Every single damn word of it, is a complete fabrication and lie created to deceive and rewrite history.

The Infidel Imam says, we in the US have a formidable friend in Israel. It is the only democracy in the Middle East, and it has nuclear weapons. The Israelis are decent people, inclined to Western civilization; we should support them in whatever they need. Instead, Barack al-Hussein ibn Obama has made Benjamin Netanyahu feel unwelcome in the US.

As you may know, the city of Jerusalem was conquered by Muslims (with their usual brutality) in 637. Jerusalem is the holiest site in both Judaism and Christianity, but the city is not even mentioned in the Qur’an. Nonetheless, the Muslims had to have it. Much later, it was taken and administered by Great Britain. Today, Muslims are still trying to get that land, which was never theirs, but the Jews’, by concocting the fallacious “Palestinian” narrative.

Arabs who desire to control the Temple Mount in Jerusalem often deny that Israelite presence there predates Muslim presence that first appears about 700 AD…Yet…recent archaeological evidence counters the Arab claim…A 10-year-old Russian boy… recently made an extraordinary discovery in Jerusalem…Working as a volunteer in the Temple Mount Sifting Project…he found a 3,000-year-old seal…engraved limestone about the size of a thimble…with a hole at one end so it could be hung from a string…from the time of Israel’s Kings [about 1000 BC]…The artifact was nestled in the hundreds of tons of earth and rock that had been illegally excavated from below the Temple Mount in the late 1990s by the Muslim Waqf… the seal confirms the ancient Jewish presence in Jerusalem—more than a millennium before the Muslim Dome of the Rock was built.

(Wall Street Journal, October 25, 2015).

Scripture places Israelites on the Temple Mount at the time of the kings of Israel (see 1 Kings)…This new “hard evidence” supports the biblical claim.

…Jesus prophesied of the end-time…saying: “For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known” (Matthew 10:26).

As the end of this age approaches…God is making known many truths that reinforce the validity of Scripture and His own existence.

Time and time again, skeptics and critics have alleged that major nations and individuals featured in the Bible never existed! But they have been embarrassed by evidence proving them wrong.

Back in the 18th century, critics even questioned the existence of the Assyrian Empire and the existence of the ancient city-state of Nineveh mentioned in the Bible. The skeptics were proven to be very wrong!

We see an example of this in the life of famous British archaeologist Austen Henry Layard. In The Luck of Nineveh, author Arnold Brackman reminds us, “In 1817, when Austen Henry Layard was born, there was no tangible proof that Nineveh, the seat of the Assyrian Empire, which reputedly had endured longer than any empire before or since, ever existed. For that matter, there was no evidence that there ever was an Assyrian empire” (Foreword, p. vii).

Layard was working in an environment that ridiculed the biblical accounts. As Brackman wrote, “In the Old and New Testaments Nineveh is mentioned twenty times, and in the Old Testament there are 132 references to Assyria… An increasing number of skeptics, however, their religious faith diluted by the spectacular scientific breakthrough accompanying the first stirring of the Industrial Revolution, sneered at tales about Nineveh and treated it as a legend that belonged to an age of fables. For them, there had never been a Nineveh any more than there had ever been a Troy” (pp. 12–13).
Despite attacks from critics, Layard eventually discovered Nineveh. Artifacts in the British Museum in London, the Louvre in Paris, the Oriental Institute Museum in Chicago and other museums, give overwhelming evidence of the historicity of this ancient empire as described in the Bible.

Archaeology has confirmed hundreds of other historical references in the Bible. Just to mention a few: The Israel Stele, a stone slab discovered in 1896 at Thebes in Egypt, is the oldest evidence of ancient Israel outside of the Bible, and records the military triumph of Pharaoh Merenptah of the 13th century bc. It states, “Israel is devastated, having no seed, Syria is widowed because of Egypt.” (Treasures From Bible Times, by Alan Millard, 1985, p. 100).

Here we can only scratch the surface on this point, but you can research the matter yourself in countless Bible dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases and handbooks, as well as reputable journals such as Biblical Archaeology Review. Again and again you will find confirmation of the Bible account.

A team of archaeologists was digging in the ancient ruins of the city of Dan in upper Galilee. Avraham Biran led the team. They discovered a basalt stone monument from the 9th century bc. The stele, or monument, commemorated “a military victory of the king of Damascus over two ancient enemies. One foe the fragment identified as the ‘king of Israel.’ The other was ‘the House of David'” (October 25, 1999, pp. 12–13).

Why should this be so significant? Note the next sentence. “The reference to David was a historical bombshell” (ibid.) Of course, for those who have already proved to themselves the accuracy and veracity of the Bible, this was not a “bombshell”—but just additional confirmation of what they had already proved!

Never before had the familiar name of Judah’s ancient warrior king, a central figure of the Hebrew Bible and, according to Christian Scripture, an ancestor of Jesus, been found in the records of antiquity outside the pages of the Bible. Also Skeptics had long seized upon that fact to argue that David was a mere legend, invented by Hebrew scribes during or shortly after Israel’s Babylonian exile, roughly 500 years before the birth of Christ. Now, at last, there was material evidence: an inscription written not by Hebrew scribes but by an enemy of the Israelites a little more than a century after David’s presumptive lifetime” (ibid.).

Critics have been embarrassed by their plainly biased allegations when archaeology and history have proved them wrong. Notice these comments by famous archaeologists, “The manner in which archaeology has verified the historical accuracy of the Bible has been nothing short of remarkable! As noted archaeologist Nelson Glueck has written, ‘it may be clearly stated categorically that no archaeological discovery has ever controverted a single biblical reference. Scores of archaeological findings have been made which confirm in clear outline or exact detail historical statements in the Bible’ (Rivers in the Desert, Glueck, p. 136). Glueck’s comments echo the words of another prominent archaeologist, William F. Albright, who stated, ‘There can be no doubt that archaeology has confirmed the substantial historicity of Old Testament writing… The excessive skepticism shown toward the Bible by important historical schools of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries… has been progressively discredited'” (pp. 24–25).

The Bible reveals hundreds of prophecies. In fact, one fourth of your Bible is prophecy. More than 200 Old Testament passages were fulfilled by Jesus Christ, the Messiah. Hundreds more give detailed information about end-time prophetic events—many of which have already occurred or are beginning to come to pass—especially regarding the growth of a European power that will become a final “Roman Empire” exerting influence around the globe. Regular readers of Tomorrow’s World have read many of our detailed discussions on modern-day fulfillments of prophecy, so here will be a highlight of just one example of ancient prophecy fulfilled as God predicted it would be.

Babylon was the greatest empire of its time, and Bible prophecy predicted that this great power would punish other nations as a judgment from God. Then, Babylon itself was to be judged for its sinfulness.

More than 100 years before the overthrow of this great empire, the prophet Isaiah named the individual who would be responsible for Babylon’s fall. King Cyrus of Persia lived almost two centuries after Isaiah, yet was prophesied by name in Isaiah 44! Isaiah even prophesied how Cyrus would enter Babylon to conquer it: “Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held; to subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors [or two-leaved gates—KJV], so that the gates will not be shut: ‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel'” (Isaiah 45:1–3). What a powerful prophecy!

And it came to pass. For those who are Bible skeptics, note that the Greek historian Herodotus, ca. 440bc, also wrote of the siege of Babylon in The Histories (1:191–192), confirming the biblical account! Yes, both secular and biblical authorities confirm that Cyrus did what Isaiah had prophesied!

As one specific example, let us consider: has the book of Isaiah been preserved faithfully? In 1947, two ancient copies of the book of Isaiah were discovered as part of the Dead Sea Scrolls in Qumran Cave 1. These were dated a thousand years earlier than any previously known manuscripts of Isaiah. Had the words of Isaiah been preserved faithfully? Indeed, “they proved to be word for word identical with our standard Hebrew Bible in more than 95 percent of the text. The 5 percent of variation consisted chiefly of obvious slips of the pen and variations in spelling… [these variations] do not affect the message of revelation in the slightest” (A Survey of Old Testament Introduction, by Gleason L. Archer, 1974, p. 25).

According to the Apostle Paul, God gave the Jewish community the responsibility of preserving the Old Testament. Speaking of the Jews, Paul writes that, “to them were committed the oracles of God” (Romans 3:2). Or, as the NIV translates it, “they have been entrusted with the very words of God.” Indeed, history shows that scribes called Masoretes faithfully copied by hand the text of Scripture. The official Hebrew text is called the Masoretic text. These scribes were so meticulous that they counted all of the letters and all of the words in a given book to make sure there were no variations, even in individual letters of the text.

The text of the New Testament, written in the Greek language, was preserved in the Greek-speaking world. The King James Version of 1611 was primarily translated from the Hebrew Masoretic text and the Greek Received Text, also known as the Textus Receptus. Thousands of manuscripts testify to the accuracy of the New Testament. Again, as in the case of the Isaiah scroll, variations in the Greek manuscripts are minor and do not affect its message or fundamental teachings.

Do errors creep into the translations? Yes, some errors in Latin or English translations—such as the spurious addition of 1 John 5:7 hundreds of years after the Apostles—are well-known and easily identified. Thankfully, as we have so many authentic manuscripts to identify potential corruptions in the text, we can have absolute confidence in the claims of the Bible.

This really freaks me out. So is it just to silently scream? Or is there anything I can do?
(I really don’t know how you all can have been at this for years without losing hope.)

Hello Kay, I agree with you. Here is a suggestion, why not visit Israel, either go with a Church group of a specialist travel agent. You can also go as a back packer or enjoy 5 star accommodation. And, try and do your homework before you go, many visitors to Israel know nothing about the place and expect to see Christmas Card type scenery, it is not like that, far more fascinating.

This would have to be one of the most disrespectful episode of political flag waving of all time on the world stage at the funeral of one of the world’s most respected leaders. Easy to see where his loyalyies really are.

As for the peace negotiations; I think it was Chairman Mao who said, “True Power comes from the barrel of a gun”
Israel has nukes, Israel has a formidable army as well as an educated population and a modern infrastructure. Israel has the right to occupy it’s own land, a right it has had since the times of King Solomon and King David.
The opposition is basically a rabble with lots of noisy rhetoric. Iran may have a few nukes thanks to it’s deal with BHO. Russia may take sides with the Arabs,a big perhaps. There is total mistrust on both sides. Does anyone really think there will be any meaningful peace negotiations with this background and are they really going to be compromised by ONE word in a press release for a funeral, a word that summed up the real truth of the matter, Jerusalem Israel.
And yes, Peres was a man of peace, even when confronted by enemies who were out to destroy his nation.

Obama never misses an opportunity to bash Israel and Jews. Israel is the only truly free, liberal, democratic country anywhere in the Middle East. Jews brought light unto a very dark, violent, ignorant, pagan world. Of course I’m no fan of Obama.
But what pains me far more is how could the American public put this man in office?
    Not once but twice?
I sincerely hope that they finally come to their senses this time around and vote for Trump. He’s far from perfect but by far the best candidate.

Obama has been led by Marxist and jihadists all his life he is a foul, lying dolt who hates America and loves Islam and has helped destroy both America and Israel during his slimy days. I cannot stand him.Hillary will lead us into the hell of Marxism and globalism where America is last not first and they have all the power as the democrats have wanted since 1914.

Given Obama’s history of thumbing his nose at Israel at every opportunity, I confess I was a bit surprised that he actually went to the service at all. Now I’d suggest that he did so primarily to deliver this toxic message. It’s right in keeping with his grim insistence on calling Daesch (spelling?) or ISIS, “ISIL” – ceding Israel to the caliph.,

    Cheers!

Thank you for commenting on Isis versus Isil. I believe John Kerry has said the same thing. Obama is a nasty person and I have no doubt that his “toxic message” was a main reason he attended the funeral. His actions towards Israel and its leaders have been rude, boorish and not Presidential. Israel is a friend of America.

    Psalm 2American Standard Version (ASV)
    The reign of Jehovah’s anointed.
    2
    Why do the nations [a]rage,
And the peoples meditate a vain thing?
    2
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against Jehovah, and against his anointed, saying,
    3
Let us break their bonds asunder,
And cast away their cords from us.
    4
He that sitteth in the heavens will laugh:
The Lord will have them in derision.
    5
Then will he speak unto them in his wrath,
And [b]vex them in his sore displeasure:
    6
Yet I have set my king
Upon my holy hill of Zion.
    7
I will tell of the decree:
    Jehovah said unto me, Thou art my son;
This day have I begotten thee.
    8
Ask of me, and I will give thee the nations for thine inheritance,
And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
    9
    Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron;
Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
    10
Now therefore be wise, O ye kings:
Be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
    11
    Serve Jehovah with fear,
    And rejoice with trembling.
    12
Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish in the way,
For his wrath [c]will soon be kindled.
[d]Blessed are all they that take refuge in him.
