Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Robert Spencer in FrontPage: A Weekend of Coincidences

Sep 19, 2016 8:33 am By Robert Spencer

I wrote this yesterday afternoon before it was indisputable that the New York and New Jersey bombs were jihad. It stands as a record of the denial and willful ignorance of our authorities. In FrontPage today:

chelsea

It was a weekend of coincidences: acts declared not to be terrorism that just happened to look a great deal like…terrorism.

After a bomb went off at 23rd Street and 6th Avenue in Manhattan and another bomb was found four blocks away, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said: In a press conference in the aftermath, New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio said, “This was an intentional act.” However, he added that he didn’t think it was terrorism, and refused to agree with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who said that the bombing was “obviously an act of terrorism.”

De Blasio’s position was entirely incoherent: what is an intentional bombing if it isn’t terrorism? Cuomo made a bit more sense as he explained that while it was obviously terrorism, “it’s not linked to international terrorism. In other words, we’ve found no ISIS connection.”

Very well. So he was leaving the door open to it being “right-wing extremists.” But was it an act of jihad? Both de Blasio and Cuomo were committed to denying that there is any jihad that has anything to do with terrorism in the first place, so they would never answer (or, given the state of the mainstream media, be asked) that question, but just to assert that the bombing was not terrorism, or international terrorism, did not entirely rule out that it may have been an act of Islamic jihadis. Yet De Blasio remained mystified: “We know it was a very serious incident, but we have a lot more work to do to be able to say what kind of motivation was behind this. Was it a political motivation? Was it a personal motivation? We do not know that yet.”

A Tumblr page entitled “I’m the NY Bomber” professed to offer a clue. It said: “You probably have all seen the news by now, the explosives detonated in New York City, that was me. I did it because I cannot stand society. I cannot live in a world where homosexuals like myself as well as the rest of the LGBTQ+ community are looked down upon by society.”

This was immediately dubious in light of the fact that gay activists are not generally known for attempting acts of terrorist mass murder. What’s more, we have seen this kind of disinformation in the recent past, when the news traveled worldwide that Orlando jihad mass murderer Omar Mateen was gay, and killed not for Allah but out of a desire for revenge against gays who had infected him with AIDS. Only later, and with much less publicity, was it revealed that there was no evidence that Mateen actually had any gay lovers. No one seemed interested in where this disinformation originated – least of all the mainstream media that had purveyed it so energetically.

And now – what a coincidence! – this Tumblr page appeared just as it was revealed that a note in Arabic was left with one of the New York bombs, and witnesses said that a man who appeared to be an Arab and carrying a suitcase was seen just before the explosion.

The coincidences multiplied. The second bomb was fashioned from a pressure cooker, the same kind of bombs used in the Boston Marathon jihad massacre in 2013, and for which assembly directions have been published in an al-Qaeda magazine. But there is no indication that this was terrorism, says de Blasio! It’s all just coincidence!

Meanwhile, a pipe bomb went off at the Seaside Semper Five Marine Corps Charity 5K in New Jersey on the same day. It had been timed to go off just as thousands of runners were passing by, so as to maximize the carnage, but the race had been delayed. Investigators concluded that the New York and New Jersey bombs came from the same person. The resemblance of the New Jersey plot to the Boston Marathon jihad bombing was just more…coincidence.

In Minnesota came more coincidences. A Muslim named Dahir A. Adan, making “references to Allah,” according to news reports, and asking at least one of his potential victims if he was a Muslim, stabbed eight people at the Crossroads Center mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota. An FBI official said that the bureau was investigating this as a “possible act of terrorism.”

“Possible”? Apparently the FBI was leaving open the possibility that Adan’s “references to Allah” and asking if someone was Muslim was just a coincidence. We have seen that before: in Mali, Muslims screaming “Allahu akbar” took hostages, freeing those who could recite the Qur’an. In September 2013 at Nairobi’s Westgate Mall, Muslims murdered people who couldn’t answer questions about Islam. In June 2014, Muslims murdered people who could not pass an Islam quiz. In November 2014, Muslims murdered 28 non-Muslims who couldn’t recite Qur’an verses. In April 2015, Muslims screaming “Allahu akbar” stormed Garissa University College, and only shot those who couldn’t recite Qur’an. In a Bangladesh restaurant in July 2016, the jihadis spared those who could recite from the Qur’an. What a coincidence!

Coincidentally also, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for both the New York and Minnesota attacks. And no doubt it was still another coincidence that on the same Saturday, someone attacked a police officer with a machete in a mall in Calgary, Alberta.

The coincidences are coming thick and fast, and the Islamic State is claiming victories, while authorities scratch their heads and wonder whether or not this is or that attack is terrorism.

The evidence that it is, and jihad terrorism at that, is piling up in New York, and is abundantly clear in Minnesota already. The denial and willful ignorance of American officials in the face of this ongoing war is getting people seriously injured and killed. It is time to stop counting coincidences and to start calling what is happening by its right name.

You’re right! Moses’ statement is true only if U.S. leaders identify with and never forget that they serve the people. It’s not true of ‘leaders’ who see the people as trailer park trash and clingers and deplorables..

Meanwhile, is there any one from the people, this statement is intended for, reading it?

You should start calling him Blastio. How on earth did NY citizens elect such an idiot who talks about ‘intentional bombs’. Was there ever an unintentional bomb?

  5. Richard Paulsen says

People from Africa in U.S.A are much better off than in Africa. As people in U.S.A from the Middle-East and Central-Asia are much better off than in their countries of origin.
Still they commit such acts of violence based on dislike of others religions and political systems. How are their own countries? Why do they never criticize them? What are they saying when asking for asylum? Must be lying. Those allowing them in are responsible.
There is said to be racism, homophobia, discrimination of women, no social security, no medical care, homelessness, unemployment, antisemitism and islamophobia in U.S.A. and in Europe.
Nevertheless they go there from Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia and all the Less Developed World and in such numbers. It seems never to end. Not until it is as bad in other countries as in their own.
Why can they not organize good lives for themselves in their own countries? Instead of demanding from others, still demanding their own rules and way of living? Building mosques.
( There is one new now being built not far from where I live outside Stockholm in Sweden, Scandinavia. Cost some US$ 25. There are new mosques being built all the time everywhere here where there are so called refugees). The arabstates seem to rule. Sweden used to be a Protestant Nation.
There is no migration from the Western World to the arabstates and the Less- or Least Developed World.
Feeling helpless. Hope that U.S.A. will not go the same way as Sweden. It is worrying what is going on. Very weak and indifferent leadership.
The Western World must be more cautious regarding allowing more in from the less and Least Developed World. Not just being upset each time there is a terrorincident.

“Those allowing them in are responsible”. Absolutely agreed.

Along with teaching them the PC complaints to make about their new home countries/states. These ‘migrant community leaders’ sound off about ‘phobias’ and ‘backlashes’ exactly as they’ve learned, down to repeating the phrases word for word..
Leftists must begin their “Why to Hate the West”-tutorials the minute the “migrants” touch down– and the job is SO much simpler if the hatred seed was already implanted by islam. The angrier the immigrant, the better for the Marxist masters.

    • t. says

      Sep 19, 2016 at 2:39 pm

Richard, I think that you didn’t get it yet! It’s Islam, the main belief system, the master operating system or software in the heads of these jihadists, that is the cause.

Proof, even many western natives, who convert from Christianity, Judaism, or any other belief system to Islam, start waging Jihad against their own countries and their own fellow citizens. There are many examples for that, in previous news items on this same site.

    • Eric Jones says

      Sep 20, 2016 at 12:18 am

To Richard Paulsen’s questions ‘Why can’t the refugees organize good lives for themselves in their own countries?’

Sadly, the same western elites that bring refugees in are the same elites that distrupted the countries of the refugees. Obama and Clinton destroed Libya which had a secular government. Obama is attacking Syria which has a secular government. The Bush’s destroyed Iraq which had a secular govenment.

Consider that here in the USA many are looking to vote for Trump. Many Americans oppose bringing refugees here. The British have done Brexit; they have to complete it by invoking Article 50. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

The people in Sweden should continue doing those things that make Sweden Swedish. Go to church and ring your church bells. Support alternative media that tells the truth. Support candidates for office that are nationalist in a positive sense. Don’t surrender your language. Force all immigrants to learn your language.
Incarcerate violent felons. Write letters to your elected officials. Letter writing has a cumulative effect.

Hold your chin up and keep fighting.

To borrow a word from a lying politician, it truly is a deplorable state that you describe. These people are parasites. Nothing more. They ruin their own countries through fighting over who has the right interpretation of Pisslam. Mudslimes are blowing up mosques all the time in the ME, and I could really give a shit if they just stayed there.

But no, they want to come to our Western countries and bleed us dry, and when they do, they’ll start fighting each other about who’s the most devout or whatever. Apparently their goal is to ruin the whole world, not just the shit hole where they come from.

And you’re right, why don’t they seem to have any shame, humility, or at least honesty about this situation – oddly, a Mudslime, much like the aforementioned lyin’ bitch politician, has a blind spot when it comes to accepting fault. They are the epitome of hypocrisy, and never to be trusted, again like said politician.

If our leaders won’t get their heads out of their assess and recognize this cancer, we the common people ‘have to’ rise up if we want our nations to carry on as freedom-loving nations.

The good news is Trump is winning in the USA and maybe, like Brexit and the rise of leaders like Le Pen, Farage, Wilders, this will spark a new paradigm shift of Country first in all the afflicted Western nations. When you have pride in yourself you don’t let trash push you around – you don’t let this trash taint your domain – you take it out.

“their goal is to ruin the whole world, not just the shit hole where they come from. ”

While it’s true, anywhere Islam goes to is ruined, they don’t think that they’re ruining the world by spreading Islam! They think that they’re doing God’s will and that spreading Islam will bring people to a like-in-paradise life!!! That’s the problem.

That is what happens when the human brain is hijacked by a malfunctioning software!!!

The allegedly conservative Mail online has this headline

U.S. politicians are barred from entering the contest as it should remain at the amateur and novice level with no professionals allowed to compete.

If the perpetrator goes on a stabbing rampage, it’s terrorism
If the MSM say “it’s someone upset with gays”, shoots & kills, it’s terrorism
If the perpetrator goes on a truck rampage, it’s terrorism
