World Vision ends Gaza projects after its Gaza chief indicted for funneling funds to Hamas

Charity money going to Hamas, as in the case of the Holy Land Foundation in the United States.

“World Vision Cancels Gaza Projects & Jobs After Longtime Hamas Stealing Exposed,” by Hana Levi Julian, Jewish Press, September 10, 2016:

The World Vision international humanitarian non-governmental organization (NGO) has laid off 120 Gaza employees and cancelled its project in the region after the head of its Gaza office was indicted by Israel for redirecting project funds into the coffers of the military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization.

The contracts of the NGO’s Gaza employees were cancelled, according to an employee quoted over the weekend by UK-based newspaper The Guardian, in a report confirmed by World Vision. The NGO had rushed to cancel the project just days after Mohammed El-Halabi was indicted.

World Vision’s eastern Jerusalem office had released a statement on Friday, July 29, passionately defending El-Halabi as a “widely respected and well-regarded humanitarian, field manager and trusted colleague of over a decade. He has displayed compassionate leadership on behalf of the children and communities of Gaza through difficult and challenging times, and has always worked diligently and professionally in fulfilling his duties.”

Less than two weeks later, however, “They informed 120 employees from World Vision in Gaza they were officially cancelling their contracts and stopping all their projects in the enclave,” the employee said. “The head of the NGO in Palestine and a number of foreign staff met on August 9 with Palestinian employees in the Gaza office and gave them documents to sign, which they did.” The employee added that the NGO had promised to take the staff back ‘once the crisis was resolved.’

On August 4, after the indictment, the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) intelligence service announced World Vision’s Gaza operations manager Mohammed El-Halabi had funneled 60 percent of the organization’s budget to the military wing of Hamas.

El-Halabi was arrested on June 15, 20165 [sic] at the Erez crossing between Israel and Gaza. He was indicted in Israel on August 4, 2016 on charges of infiltrating the charity on behalf of Hamas, and having redirected some $43 million of World Vision funds to the military wing of the terror organization over a six-year period.

According to the indictment and subsequent media reports, the funds were instead used to build Hamas terrorist tunnels and military installations, as well as for other terrorist activities….

Only one comment worth noting since even Israeli Newspapers have fallen into this trap. There is no Military and Political Divisions of Hamas. Hamas is simply One. They are One group of terrorists whose Charter goes beyond murdering Israelis and wiping Israel off the Map. Their Charter calls for the ‘murder of Jews where you may find them” just it is written in the Quran.

Time to stop giving money to any charity which benefits primarily muslims. The muslims view it as the Jizya tax that infidels must pay to their muslim masters.

World Vision needs to learn “never trust a Muslim”. How can anyone? The Qur’an makes it clear that they cannot be our friends.

World Vision has long been anti-Israel, and pro-‘Palestinian’. It’s about as ‘Christian’ as ISIS.

Not only that: It’s all mobbed up with, you guessed it, the Clinton Foundation. Oh yes. Best buds. Pals.

That connection will be breaking news soon; I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s part of Assange’s forthcoming Killary dump.

    Stay tuned.

Small potatoes next to how many BILLIONS have been funneled from American taxpayers to other Islamic terrorist organizations around the world under the Obama regime.

However, one does wonder if the left-fascist in the audience of The Guardian will even register this scandal and start to question their “Palestinans:good Israel: bad” dogma. Of course they won’t, but one might wonder if it crosses their minds for just a flicker.

World Vision is one of the good guys, so this really hurts those who who feel compelled to give

Sadly though, the incident nature of terrorism can infiltrate even the best groups, and stain the efforts

I suspended my WV contribution to Bangladesh a few months ago when a B’desh politician blamed the attacks on Hindus on Israel.
If B’desh – the world’s basket case can get away with such accusations they’ll never address its problems.
I’ve told WV to clean up their act in Gaza as well otherwise I’ll continue to with hold support.
UNRWA is bad enough for Palestinians but when NGOs go the same way it’s a scam too far.

One of the problems with World Vision is they tend to be far too trusting of locally appointed staff. They seem to like to put locals in charge of offices with large budgets in countries that have institutionalized corruption. That’s asking for trouble. Especially as they should be accountable to their donors, not the recipients of aid.

How often will, we be lied to by Muslims before we realize they are a fraud under Satan’s control and “paradise” to them is hell to us. Deport them all and let them live in Africa where black lives matter can join them in “paradise”. Palestine has been a fraud since Arafat milked Clinton for billions as America applauded Clinton until Clinton could never close the deal because with Arafat and all muslims if here is one more lie to pull they will wait to pull that lie. Let them live together under one continent and show the rest of us how great their world will be while we envy them under our freedom.Let’s let CAIR make this deal and start the exit from America.

My fantasy for Gaza is that it should be the eastern Mediterranean Internet cable hub. Mirror sites, quantum banking, a tech exchange, cloud storage, satellite dishes. It’s got good beaches, nice weather. Add some gaming café’s and you have geek heaven. Look no one will ever trust the Israelis and lets be honest the Egyptians will never pull it off. The Gazans could , and make a lot of money in the process.

    ……………………………..

Good for World Vision. And this should not surprise–“Zakat” is more often used to fund violent Jihad than it is for actual charity. Muslims don’t even see this as a misuse of funds.

Any time money is involved the crooks and the scum of the earth are very nearby or involved. The only charity that I know of that I would trust is the Salvation Army.

Why not let the Muslims help the Muslims. When was the last time you ever heard of a Muslim helping a Christian or a Jew or anybody else?
I don’t trust any of the so-called charities. Just look at the Clinton foundation or the Clinton family foundation, you can’t get any more corrupt than that or anyone that’s affiliated with them. I almost forgot to mention the George Soros foundation the closest thing we have to Satan on this earth.

Save your money and if you have too much money give it to somebody that it isn’t planning to cut your throat the first chance they get.
Giving to charities that send money into Muslim countries is about as bright as sending it to a pack of serial killers. It is very simple Muslims hate you, how many times do they have to kill you before you clue in.
