Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Iraq bans booze: “No law that contradicts Islam may be established”

Oct 23, 2016 11:34 am By Robert Spencer

“Opponents argue that the vote infringes constitutional guarantees of freedom of religious belief for minority groups such as Christians.”

Of course it does, not no one — no one — cares for them, least of all the Christian leaders of the West.

“Ammar Toma, an MP who supported the ban, argued that it was justified because the constitution stipulates that ‘no law that contradicts the established provisions of Islam may be established.'”

That was the constitution that American soldiers fought and died to install. It is not one that upholds human rights and humane values; rather, it is a Sharia constitution. Installing it in Iraq would have been tantamount to the U.S. appointing Himmler as Chancellor of the German Reich after the death of Hitler.

baghdad-alcohol

“Iraq alcohol: Parliament imposes ban in a surprise move,” BBC, October 23, 2016:

Parliament in Iraq has voted to ban the sale, import and production of alcohol, with backers of the move arguing that its availability contradicts Islam and is unconstitutional.

Opponents argue that the vote infringes constitutional guarantees of freedom of religious belief for minority groups such as Christians….

Since the fall of Saddam Hussein, activities perceived to be contrary to the moral code of Islam have come under repeated attack, with alcohol shops targeted in Baghdad and other cities.

While alcohol is not commonly found in restaurants and hotels in Iraq, correspondents say its consumption is relatively widespread in the scores of small shops and bars in Baghdad….

Ammar Toma, an MP who supported the ban, argued that it was justified because the constitution stipulates that “no law that contradicts the established provisions of Islam may be established”.

Iraq alcohol: Parliament imposes ban in a surprise move

“Surprise move”? Maybe for those who don’t know basic islamic orthodoxy. Islam does not simply exhorts its adherents not to drink alcohol, islamic law demands alcohol not to be sold, even among minorities whose religion allows the drinking of alcohol. And if the Iraqi constitution says that “no law that contradicts the established provisions of Islam may be established”, then there’s no reason to why alcohol should be traded in Iraq. Or to why thieves shouldn’t have their hands chopped off. Or to why women shouldn’t be stoned to death if they report a rape without having four male eyewitnesses. Or to why gays shouldn’t be tossed from tall buildings. Or to why apostates shouldn’t be killed.

Under Sadam Husein Booze was okay for all, in fact Saddam, his sons and all his officials were deep Boozers! Thanks to the US aggressive regime change intervention in Iraq we now have the rise of radical islam in the whole region and the world.

Shows the US does not believe in its own Constitution anymore. It’s like MacArthur taking over Japan and imposing ancient Feudal Laws to please the politicians. In Afghanistan the victors prepared a Sharia Constitution to replace Taliban tribalism – what difference is there? It was a total waste of American lives and money. Same policy carried out in Iraq and Obama was hoping to do the same to Syria.
No assistance was allowed nor given to Good-Luck Jonathan when he needed it to fight Boko Haram, but the military aid poured in when an Islamic president was elected.

America today is blatantly promoting sharia law and imposing it wherever there’s an opportunity.

You are right, Katherine. America may even start WW3 on behalf of its barbaric jihadist muslims in Syria. Read more on the link below:

Booze can still be freely enjoyed in government-controlled areas of Syria where millions of Christians still live peacefully but If American-backed barbaric jihadists succeed in overthrowing Assad then drinking booze will surely be punishable by death.

It’s ironic that in Jannah, Muslims drink all the booze they want. And in Bharain, Muslims do the same -after all, “Bahrain is far enough from Mecca that Allah won’t see you” ( quoted by a Muslim in Bahrain) – and of course, one gives to charities when returning home to pay the indulgence.

I don’t recall the link, but there was a study on whether Coke-a-Cola was halal or haram ( I think Saudi funded ) they analyzed how it was made, and listed ingredients. The conclusion was that there was a trace amount of alcohol due to the the coco extraction process and so there was a fatwa issued making it haram ( not acceptable ) – there are other fatwas saying its halal based on Islamic Hadith which state you can eat something with a small amount of haram substance if certain conditions exist ( blends with other substances, naturally occurring in small amounts, doesn’t alter the substance you are eating too much, blah blah blah ) there is also Hadith that says, when in need, any food is halal.

When it comes to halal and haram it is all a bunch of nonsense. There is a fatwa stating tomatoes are Christian vegetable and Muslims can’t eat it. Muslims are so messed up – like people living in a mental asylum.

Can we bribe Ferrari and Lamborghini to install windshield washer parts that only operate with white wine instead of washer fluid? Or only use pigskin for the upholstery? Or install tires that have treads that use patterns of allah’s name? Or festoon the exterior and interior and engine compartment with crosses? Or the radio only is programmed to play Gospel tunes from Texan church choirs? Anything to keep those “princes” from wreaking havoc on the streets of Knightsbridge and Bel Air with their “Little Douche Coupes”…

This should be of note to some people in the American government, but it won’t be, and it won’t be either to all western liberal dickheads. It’s as plain as day what’s going on in our world but non of the lefties care because they’re deeply concerned about people using the wrong words. The near enemy of the left must be brutally crushed. Absolutely no mercy.

Iraq bans booze: “No law that contradicts Islam may be established”
    …………………….

This will, as noted, target Christians.

Even before this law made selling liquor illegal, Muslims have violently targeted shops:

“Sharia in action in Iraq: Islamic supremacists attack liquor stores, murdering 15 people”

    https://www.jihadwatch.org/2013/12/sharia-in-action-in-iraq-islamic-supremacists-attack-liquor-stores-murdering-nine-people

There are lots of other stories like this.

And yes–insanely, good Americans died to impose this Shari’ah. *Ugh*.

Yes, so probably for Christians that celebrate the Eucharist (Communion) as directed by Jesus to “do this in memory of me” to use wine will be a criminal offense.

Hey, Mohammedans! Why wait until you’re a majority in Western countries before you impose Sharia law on the rest of us? Just play the “minority victim” card and shout “Racist!” and “Islamophobe!” loud and often. The political and media establishment will do the rest.

    Oh, right…

Did Ammar realize he was using a man-made law to justify not having a man-made law?
“…the constitution stipulates…” And that constitution of Iraq was written by men.

Let’s look at this from the economists’ point of view. There may be a relevant concept from the field of regulatory economics. For example…

      Oh, good grief, Allan.

Not only is this theory pretty iffy to begin with–it assumes that no has any values or convictions at all, but is just out to make more money–it also does not explain why prohibition ever ended in the US, nor why other countries did not adopt it.

More to the point, though, comparing brutal Shari’ah law to tea-totaling Baptists is just misguided.

In the Islamic State, for instance, the penalty for just drinking alcohol–not bootlegging or smuggling, mind you–is *80 lashes*.

      http://freebeacon.com/national-security/islamic-state-penal-code-promises-crucifixion-lashing-for-unbelievers/

In Iran in 2004, a 14-year-old boy died after receiving 85 lashes. In Bangladesh in 2010, a woman died after receiving just forty lashes.

“Bangladesh: Woman dies after receiving 40 lashes in Sharia punishment”

      https://www.jihadwatch.org/2010/12/bangladesh-woman-dies-after-receiving-40-lashes-in-sharia-punishment

      This penalty can be fatal.

The idea that savage Shari’ah law is just a ruse to make more money is–with all respect–entirely mistaken.

And this is what we sacrificed our young men and women for? Sadam Hussein was a dictator, but he protected minorities and did not oppress women for being women. What we did in Iraq is disgraceful and our chickens are coming home to roost.

This is the only thing which I agree with a Muslim. Alcohol is a deadly drug and should be outlawed. Too many people die violent deaths, too many women and too many children are sexually abused, too many families live in poverty, too many are homeless, and there is too much alcohol related crimes. Much of this anti-social behavior can be traced directly back to alcohol. I know I am an alcoholic and I also spent 25 years plus in law enforcement. I have seen what it done to me and others. There are all kinds of victims and bodies scattered around alcoholics.

Don’t tell me about your rights. The hell with them when it comes to drunkenness and abortions. Both kill.

However, Muslims do not have to be drunk to do all the above atrocities, they just have to be what they are, demonic idiots. Their brain cells are already dead.
