This judgement on these gays in Kuwait comes as a kind of peculiar relief amid the other much worse reports of gays getting beheaded and thrown head first from rooftops. The troubling part, though, is this: although Westerners can pat themselves on the back that it is constitutionally unacceptable and illegal to persecute gays in this manner in the West, why is it socially acceptable for Westerners to remain so passive when acts of violence against gays by Muslims are called for right here on Western soil? No one can dare say such things on Western soil about Muslims without a deafening outcry that would span the globe. Gays especially should be protesting this issue loudly. But the LGBTQ Nation publication instead zeroed in on a fringe Christian pastor:
We’ve seen plenty of loathsome Christian pastors crawling out of the woodwork to denigrate LGBT people, but Texas minister Donnie Romero of Stedfast Baptist Church in Fort Worth may be the actual worst.
Meanwhile, Conservative gay writer Milo Yiannopoulos correctly proclaimed that “Islam Kills Gays, Christianity Doesn’t”.
To review an example from Orlando: an imam and Muslim scholar called for the “compassionate” killing of gays at a mainstream Islamic center near the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, where the jihadi massacre of gays took place. While the practice of throwing gays off rooftops and the shocking ongoing war against gays by the Islamic State in its strict adherence to Islamic teaching is condemned by Western leaders of all stripes, those same inhumane practices based on Islamic texts are being called for in the West openly and in the mainstream, with impunity.
It was also reported from Canada in June:
The 8 volume books Fatawa Islamiyah (Islamic Verdicts), which were bought at an Islamic book store at Scarborough, Ontario, provide the Islamic ruling regarding homosexuality (Vol. 6, p. 199):
“The Ruling on Sodomy and the Punishment Thereof
“What is the ruling on sodomy in Islam and what is the punishment?
“The shameful act of sodomy is one of the most repugnant of shameful acts and we seek refuge with Allah (from it)….
“It has been reported from the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, that the punishment for one who does that or allows it to be done to him is that he be killed. Or, tobe burnt or to be stoned. Or, to be thrown from the highest point (mountain, tower, lofty building etc.), then to follow it with stoning.
“This is because of its corruption of morals, customs, and because of its violation of the natural human state, and because the abandonment of lawful marriage by those who practice.

“According to unofficial sources, 3 gays in Shopping Complex were arrested, their heads were shaved due to orders from security officers and referred to competent authorities”, KuwaiUp2Date, posted October 5, from August 16, 2016:
My driving license was issued on Dec 18, 2012 for 10 years with designation “Driver” and salary KD 400. But now my designation in my new company is being changed to Technical Assistant with the salary KD 400.
Please advise whether after my designation change my driving license will get cancelled or not? I have heard somewhere that this rule is implemented for the licenses issued after April 2013. I always see you give the correct answer, so awaiting for your valuable reply.

Answer: A very senior Kuwait Traffic Department clarified this issue not very long ago when he said that the decision on change of designations would affect only those licenses which were issue after April 1, 2013.He added that all the licenses issued before this date would be renewed automatically. The designations affected are driver, housewife, Mandoub (company representative) and student.
If you have obtained a driving license — after April 1, 2013 — for the above four designations you will lose your license if you change the designation on the work permit.
