Seven of the jihadists who murdered 130 peoples and injured 360 more in Paris last November had just come to Europe as Muslim migrants. Did the nearly 500 victims of these jihadis reach the “lowest levels of human degradation”? Or do they not count because they don’t fit Francis’ narrative?
What about the “lowest levels of degradation” that will be reached by the victims of future jihad massacres and their families — jihad massacres perpetrated by Muslim “refugees”? Do they have any place in the Pope’s moral calculus at all? Apparently not.
“It is hypocritical to call yourself a Christian and to chase away a refugee, or anyone who needs your help.”
Is it hypocritical to chase away someone who is trying to kill me and destroy my nation, culture, and civilization? Is being a genuine Christian tantamount to approving the suicide of Europe and the West? That appears to be the Pope’s view.
“Pope denounces Christians who don’t want refugees as ‘hypocrites,'” DPA, October 13, 2016:
People who call themselves Christians but do not want refugees at their door are hypocrites, Pope Francis said Thursday, amid reports of new tragedies involving migrants crossing the Mediterranean.
“It is hypocritical to call yourself a Christian and to chase away a refugee, or anyone who needs your help. Jesus taught us what it means to be a good Christian in the parable of the Good Samaritan,” Francis said in a meeting with German Lutheran pilgrims at the Vatican.
The pope, a vocal champion of migrant rights who was born in Argentina from an Italian immigrants, earlier issued a message ahead of the World Day of Migrants and Refugees, which the Catholic Church will observe on January 15.
“Children are the first among those to pay the heavy toll of emigration, almost always caused by violence, poverty, environmental conditions, as well as the negative aspects of globalization,” Francis said in the message.
Renewing arguments that welcoming migrants is a Christian duty, the pope cited a passage from the Biblical Book of Exodus stating: “You shall not wrong a stranger or oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.”
He criticized attempts “to curb the entrance of migrants, which in turns fosters illegal networks” for people smuggling and trafficking, “instead of favouring the social integration of child migrants, or programmes for safe and assisted repatriation.”
Francis said governments should balance their right to control migration flows “with the duty to resolve and regularize the situation of child migrants,” saving them from abuse, exploitation and the “lowest levels of human degradation.”…

TOP DEFINITION for “Malcolm”
“Nothing to do with the name, but modern English slang for a WOSP. Reputed to be a remnant belonging to a failed branch of evolution, malcolms are usually, but not exclusively, male. Having no social skills, they are inept and uncoordinated. Unconcerned with the sensitivity of others, they fail to appreciate the benefits of personal hygiene and of being honest and truthful, something that makes malcolms a liability in the workplace. In addition they are invariably sycophantic, crawling round the boss at every opportunity in the belief that this is a substitute for ability; they are untrustworthy and will not hesitate to badmouth colleagues if they see a potential advantage. Bullies by temperament and cowards by nature, malcolms will attempt to force others into doing their work but when met with resistance they run to the boss with a complaint supported by lies. Unfortunately malcolms are all too common and spread discord and unpleasantness wherever they appear. It is hoped that the British Government will authorise a malcolm cull in much the same way as they did for badgers, as a malcolm is less use than a badger’s arse.”

Personality of the Boy Name Malcolm
Romance is the hallmark of the Six personality. They exude nurturing, loving, and caring energy. Sixes are in love with the idea of love in its idealized form – and with their magnetic personalities, they easily draw people toward them. Like the number
Two personality, they seek balance and harmony in their life and the world at large. They are conscientious and service-oriented, and a champion for the underdog. These personalities naturally attract money and are usually surrounded by lovely material objects – but their human relationships are always primary. They thrive in giving back to others rather than being motivated by their own desires. This is when they achieve great things. Sixes are natural teachers, ministers and counselors.

Help me please understand this, if you were born totally blind and has never seen any light, how can any one explain to you the difference between the color blue and red? or even explain to you that outside the darkness you are familiar with, there is something called color.. If you demand proof what possible proof to you can there ever be?. This is how Some of us consider atheist. The colors are there but impossible to poof to you. Most importantly, I personally even though not born again and an erratic church goer and love for my beer, experienced a true spiritual war fare while working near my tomato garden next to my recently deceased sister. One spiritual very evil being felt like emanating from a weed right behind me. My every single cell could perceive it’s approaching presence. it was preceded by the noise you hear when very near an extremely high voltage power lines. i also perceived extreme evil around it’s presence. Just before “it” morphed into the visible, audible form, I perceived another extremely delightful spiritual being with power and surrounded by extremely calming, joyful effect coming from somewhere from the front and felt “him” to settle exactly in front of me. The evil being whom I strongly felt was in front of me, immediately retreated in the same exact way-perceiving “it” returning to the ground at the weed. My perception is one was an angel or Jesus the other was an evil spirit. How I instantaneously was perceiving this as it was happening is still a mystery. FYI even though a christian, I always considered the claim of spiritual warfare claims as excess of the pentecostal brigade and didn’t believe it. . . .

Personally I am not against letting refugees in. I don’t think that most Christians are.
Let’s save as many persecuted minorities as needed. Christians, Yazidis, gays etc have been persecuted and certainly qualify for refugee status by any standard.
The Pope, however, wants to unilaterally extend the definition of refugee to included enemy combatants, criminals, thugs and sworn enemies of freedom.
This is an example of what I have been calling Papal Delerium (as opposed to Papal Magisterium).
The Pope chooses to invoke the good Samaritan to explain his position. That’s nice in an over simplified Sunday School kind of a way.
I would simply counter with Mathew 7 15:20:
15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
I think if the Pope wants to call me a hypocrite, then he needs to prove to me why Mathew 7 15:20 does not apply to Islam.
Until he does that the Pope is the Head of State of the Vatican City – he is perfectly free to open the gates of the Vatican City as many Islamic Migrants as he would like. He can also open up the coffers of the Catholic Church and feed them and cloth them and do whatever he wants with them.

Thank you August for your interesting thoughts.
I think it has been said previously why aren’t the oil rich Arab states taking in these refugees? Why is it only the nominal Christian nations taking them in with all the resulting problems of incompatibility of Islam and our way of life. Why don’t the wealthy Asian countries take in these refugees? Why are the Asian and Arab countries not criticised for taking them in?
Surely the Pope is a little bit more intelligent than to use the good Samaritan parable to justify what is an Islamic invasion. Does he not read history to see what Muslims have done to Christians over the centuries including the present persecutions in Egypt & Syria. Incidentally the much demonised President Assad of Syria actually allows the Orthodox Church to exist in that nation. The Islamists (Whom Obama is supporting) certainly would not should they come to power.
You indicate that you are in favour of letting in refugees. I am not, for the following reasons. We have absolutely no responsibility to these people whatsoever, neither morally nor legally. We could take say 3 million of these people into Australia, it would cause social and financial chaos and would not even start to solve the world-wide refugee crisis. Now if we take in just a few, still causes social problems here, but what about the billions (and still breeding) who don’t win the refugee lottery?
Being gay or persecuted because you were only allowed to have one child back in China are not valid reasons to seek asylum in Australia.
The problem of refugees must be sorted out at the very source. Get those 3rd world incompetent, overpopulated and corrupt hell holes to sort out their own mess. This is what the UN should be doing, this is the only viable option for both the short and long term.

Turkey is filled with White European Muslim refugees of non Turkish origin. A large section of the population of Turkey are descendants of white European Bosnian Muslims, Albanian Muslims, Pomak Muslims and Greek Muslims who fled the Balkans in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Turkey, Syria, Jordan and Iraq are all homes to communities of Circassians and Chechens descendants of 19th century refugees from the Caucasus.
Saudi Arabia has non-Arab refugee descendants. There are Central Asians like Uzbeks who fled Soviet rule to go to Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia has a Hui Muslim community from China.
For centuries China has accepted refugee Muslim populations like Kazakhs, Salars and Utsuls and naturaluzed them. China has Arab Mosques like the Ashab Mosque in Fujian built 1,000 years ago from Arabs who moved to China for centuries. China accepts people who actually work. There are Syrians in China who obtain visas because they have JOBS. They don’t register as refugees. They go on working visas. Unemployed foreigners who lounge around and do nothing are not allowed. Saudi Arabia is the same, foreigners there like Syrians are working and not on asylum benefits.
China also has 1.3 billion people and is one of the most densely populated areas on Earth.
India has Hadhrami Arab communities in Hyderabad with Indian citizenship. India has 1.1 billion people and is obe of the most densely populated areas on Earth.
Hadhrami Arab communities live in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. Syrian refugees are living in Malaysia.
Myanmar has accepted Panthay Muslim refugees as citizens and had Kamein Muslim citizens.
Australia has far less people and far more room than South Korea. Australia has around 23 million people and is a continent. South Korea has 50 million people and is half a tiny peninsula.
USA has 310 million people. India and China are smaller and have over 1 billion.

Mazo, Western Turkey was inhabited by indigenous people, mostly Christian, when the Muslims invaded and took over. You are not implying it was empty territory and that the present population all is descended from European Muslims? The present-day Turks, although they never even think about it, are mainly descendants of Christians who were there in Constantinople when it was the seat of the Eastern Christianity. It was sacked and taken over by the Muslim hordes and the indigenous people forced on pain of death to become Muslims. Certainly some Eastern European Muslims migrated there when the Ottoman Empire was crushed, but you are mistaken if you discount the population there when it was viciously taken over by the Muslims.

Malcolm, Armenians were deported to the Syrian desert–then part of the Ottoman Empire–during the Armenian genocide. Some few managed to survive. I’m not sure I’s consider this Syria “taking in refugees”, but then, I suppose we have different standards.
Certainly, Syria under Bashir al Assad had been less threatening to its Christian minority than much of Dar-al-Islam, where out-and-out genocide is the norm. In Syria, it had been more the case that Christians were just oppressed and murdered periodically by individual Muslims, rather than by state mandate. That is why Christians and other religious minorities–by default–have supported al Assad, since those poised to take over from him would be much, much worse.

The idea that it is the United States that cause the almost 1400-year-old Sunni/Shi’ite split is quite mistaken. The United States did not exist at that time.
Nor, you will find, are Muslims slaughtering other Muslims in the name of the American Constitution. Instead, they are murdering one another–as well as Christians and Yezidis–in the name of Islam.

Syria had not been particularly safe there, even preceding the “Arab Spring”–and as I noted, the idea that Syria gave Armenians sanctuary is ahistorical. In fact, Syria was not politically separate from the Ottoman Empire that was waging the genocide at the time.
Christians have been somewhat less threatened under Assad than under some other Muslim dictators, that’s about it.
The violent reawakening of Islam since the “Arab Spring” was not cause by the United States–how could it have been? ISIS and other Sunni Jihad groups follow orthodox Islam; not the civilized tenets of America.

i envy your deep faith. Sincerely, just how do you manage to believe in the absence of a God when there are so many things and systems so meticulously designed that the inevitable conclusion is “there must be a designer” .Just out of curiosity, if evolution of both living and non living systems is what is responsible for what we see, how comes for all those billions of years the universe has been,in existence, we haven’t found “a statue of liberty” somehow created by evolution either on earth or those other heavenly bodies we have visited?
FYI even though a christian, I always considered the claim of spiritual warfare claims as excess of the pentecostal brigade and didn’t believe it. . . .

To me the evidence of God in the world is so in ones face. Because this is so, we take it for granted and do not recognize it.
A strong consistent prayer life is necessary. Most like myself come with an inconsistent one, so we see little and we can only compare through time with a consistent one, we are then able to distinguish. One needs to hang in there as all things start to happen.
We are all tested and there are times where there seems to be an absence of God, but this is not so.

Nice commentary.
As a former Roman Catholic I have absolutely no use for the Pope or the so-called Magisterium and I certainly do not subscribe to so-called Papal Infallibility. The RCC’s demands for blind allegiance is abhorrent to me.
Example: “We ought to hold as a fixed principle that what I see white I believe to be black, if the superior authorities of the Church define it to be so.”
Francis Loyola – Founder of the Jesuits
This seems to be a characteristic of a Cult, blindly obeying and following the so-called self-appointed leader.
It appears as the Scriptures have foretold that we are living in the last days.
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2. Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3. Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
1 Timoythy 4:1-3
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
1 John 4:1
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction

The total submission that Rome requires has been expressed by many popes, but none said it more clearly than Nicholas I (858-67):
“It is evident that the popes can neither be bound nor unbound by any earthly power, nor even by that of the apostle [Peter], if he should return upon the earth; since Constantine the Great has recognized that the pontiffs held the place of God upon earth, the divinity not being able to be judged by any living man. We are, then, infallible, and whatever may be our acts, we are not accountable for them but to ourselves. “
Emperor Constantine The Great viewed Himself a God
Popes… and their clergy during the times of Emperors were among the very rare few who could read and write…Roman Emperors often used them to administer…they used the emperors to gain real power and Influence…like all ordinary men they sought dominance and achieved it through feigning religion…they portend humility…they love preeminence among men… they deny the authority of God…and crave the worship of men…no man should want a title belonging only to God…and risk much to ignore a direct Order from Christ to call no man father…there is only one Holy Father…He Is God the Father…and no man.
Emperor Constantine the Great is now just Constantine the dead and
waiting to be resurrected some day by a Real God who would not
recall any greatness at all in this mere flesh and blood man.

Test the Spirits = Fact Checking.
The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived they went into the Jewish synagogue. 11. Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, “examining” (Fact Checking) the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.

Absolute Bull Crap (ABC), Certified Bull Shit (CBS), Certified Nonsense News (CNN), Notorious Bull Shit (NBC), More Serious Notorious Bull Shit (MSNBC) all report that Trump or Clinton did or said XYZ.
Should we blindly accept what they reported? Or should we Fact Check (Test the Spirits) to verify that the report is either True or False?
The same holds true for Islam, Muslims want us to believe that Islam is a Religion of peace as taught by Mohammad and the Koran, is that accurate? We then Fact Check (Test the Spirits) by reading the Koran and verifying what we are being told is either True or False.

Pere LaChaise says
Sorry Mr Swan, but the the Orthodox Church rightly recognizes Emperor Constantine as a Sain and Eisapostolos (equal to the Apostles) because he made Christianity licit in the pagan Roman Empire and convened the first ecumenical council to condemn the heresy of Arianism, which was dividing the Empire at the time.
Regardless of your issues with the Pope of Rome, who does not have universal jurisdiction outside his Church (e.g., among Orthodox), your apostasy from his Church does not entitle you to say who and who isn’t a saint in God’s kingdom. Your apostasy renders your opinion so much clatter.
If you wanted to make a difference, you should do something positive rather than appoint yourself pope.
Mark Swan says
Pere LaChaise—The so-called “conversion” of Constantine was a crucial period in the transformation of “popular Christianity.” The young emperor, a sun-worshiper, was attracted to the growing apostate Christian church. Although Constantine stopped persecutions and granted favor to professing Christians, he continued to approve of and follow pagan practices. He apparently “found it convenient to pay his respects to both Christ and Apollo” (A Chronicle of the Last Pagans, Chuvin, p. 26). Constantine’s embrace of “Christianity,” and promotion of his newly adopted faith, brought the church phenomenal growth—which changed its character. Imperial patronage colossally increased the wealth and status of the churches. Privileges and exemptions granted to the clergy precipitated a stampede into the priesthood (see The Conversion of Europe, Fletcher, p. 38). Yet many new “converts” were only nominal Christians who still retained and followed pagan ideas.
Some early church leaders, seeing the popularity of pagan customs, followed a “strategy of adoption” in their attempts to convert the heathen “into some semblance of Christian belief” (Fletcher, pp. 99, 354). Instead of requiring people to repent and give up their ancient customs, church leaders urged “the replacement of these pagan practices with Christian ones” (ibid., p. 54). Churches were built on or near pagan shrines, and ancient festivals were given a “Christian” name and content. Where the pagan “habit of popular attachment to a holy place was too great to break, it was sometimes possible for the church to disinfect the old site and to invest it with some Christian significance” (The Early Church, Chadwick, p. 168). A prime example was Ephesus, with its great temple of Diana—one of the wonders of the ancient world. In 431ad, the third ecumenical council met in Ephesus and proclaimed Mary the “Mother of God” and the object of prayers and devotions. But why was Mary given this title—and many others? Why was Ephesus chosen for this announcement?

Do We expect anyone who is not a Muslim, but has read the

In this age of Islam spreading aggressively, are we going to hope
moderate Muslims, can water down the very essence of Islam which

in this are naive and vulnerable, or maybe ok with this—what.
They have been building-up to this time for many decades…they can
work any system better than its originators, they are very effective.
This is a supremacist Ideology…do We expect them to accept equality.
All their ingenuous determined efforts are very real and very wide-spread.
Do We feel these Muslim folks just need a clear view of
the good life, and when they realize how wonderful a good life
Is, these beliefs, based on the Quran will just go away.
The rest of this world cannot be on hold…how long do We have to give Them to make this reformation, after many centuries of the same belief of hate.
Should the words good and Muslim be used together…read the Quran.
Do these exist…if so, let them cast off this hate group membership.
Let them join the free World and help…that is what they could do.
Many beliefs are part of humanity…yet humanity can not accept the Quran.
Whom then do we liken the Muslim Brotherhood to be.
Many have considered them Moderate Muslims.
They are not.
Recall, from the Muslim Brotherhood Explanatory Memorandum:
“The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process’ with all the word means. The Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

gravenimage says
Mubarak has said that we should be raped by Muslims for allowing homosexuals to live unmolested here. Kepha has never said anything like that–not on this thread, and not anywhere else.
Mazo has also ludicrously claimed that Kepha has called for Muslims to rape us to make us atone for the “decadence” of the West. Of course, he has never said any such thing.
gravenimage says
And again, Mazo is (supposedly) defending a Christian here. But this is absurd–he has never said a word against his coreligionists committing the most horrific atrocities against Christians.
But he has seen Mubarak’s championing of Muslims raping us, and is grotesquely trying to present this as a “Christian” stance.
And why? It’s obvious–if they can present Christians as clamoring for the admittance of hordes of rapist Muslims into the West to make us “atone” for our shortcomings, then conquering us would be *much* easier. *Ugh*.
Kepha says
I did not say I wanted to kill homosexuals. I merely said that they should not be accepted into our country and that they are an unhealthy influence on any society. Mazo, I do not think that China thinks highly of homosexuals, either. Bourgeois deviants, perhaps?
And I am not in favor of any kind of rape–regardless of who commits it and on whom.
Angemon says
The Maz-hole posted:
“Cravenmirage attacks Mubarak but says nothing about Kephas remark on gays on this very page at October 13, 2016 at 5:43 pm in response to August West”
Is Kepha’s remark comparable in any way to what Mubarak said regarding gays? I suspect not – I suspect it’s a simple case of a muslim covering for another muslim. Are you a muslim? I’ve seen many people ask you that question but I never saw you answer.
gravenimage says
Good post, Angemon.
Mazo says
Cravenmirage, Mubarak did not call for anyone to get raped, and I said Mubarak was a conservative Christian anti-homosexual like Kepha. Mubarak did not call to import anyone. I never said Kepha supported rape.
gravenimage says
What Mazo says is patently untrue. Mubarak has been counseling our rape by Muslims since he arrived here. He has also many times insisted that we are not Christians unless we import more Muslim rapists to “atone” for our shortcomings. Mubarak has indeed implied we should be raped for allowing homosexuals to live without fear of murder here.
Mazo just hopes that he can rehabilitate Mubarak–laughable in itself; consider the source–so that we will be more vulnerable to his coreligionists conquering us.
Mubarak says
Once again the distortions of GI are evident. OT, as demonstrated, calls for the death penalty for blasphemers. Christianity doesn’t: “Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.”
The Pope appeals to kindness towards strangers with words from Exodus. Should he then not also recommend the severity towards strangers with words from the same author?
I am pointing out the inconsistency in his position.
gravenimage says
Once again, Mubarak proves that he knows nothing about Christianity. It is not forbidden for Christians to cite the Old Testament–nothing could be more absurd–except, of course, his implication that Christians execute “blasphemers”. He has peddled this rot here before.
Kepha says
Maybe the execution of blasphemers was required for several reasons:
1. To keep the Israelite nation from blending in to the surrounding nations.
2. So that the Messiah might be unjustly executed on the cross for this crime in order that he might bear our sins in his body on the tree and become a curse on our behalf that atonement be made for our sins.
Mark Swan says
Mubarak—I see where You are going with this quote, the same God who said for ancient
Israel to do what you quoted, also said Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not,
and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven; let him who is without
sin cast the first stone—is there contradiction here, or clarification of the difference between
converted and non converted, someone who is a repentant, converted, and baptized person
is called a Christian—the people you mentioned were not converted, and not capable of
following the spirit of the law.
These were an example that no matter how strict the law is enforced they can not obey God
without Christ joining His mind with humans, through the Holy Spirit, it is Christ living in a
converted human which makes it possible for the Human to obey God’s law.
Those who knew the law but had not been converted by willing and obedient submission to
Christ, showed the world that no one can be saved by the law alone, that it would take Christ’s paying for sin, and Human willingness to obey when God the Father calls them, and receiving the Holy Spirit they submit to Christ and He and the Father join with Human minds through the power of the Holy Spirit, then these could obey the law, and would.
God is the perfect teacher, He will not fail His part, it is Humans that must allow him to change
them from rebellious to obedient, they must be willing and sincere, lip service is useless, this is a genuine chance to let God live in Humans, to test them, to heal them, to instruct them, to prepare them for a completely different world where they will be like God. Righteous Means law abiding above all else. A Christian is law abiding, it is made possible by Christ living His perfect life in the Christian, therefore that Christian must be absolutely willing, and obedient. God’s law is His Mind, His way of life, He keeps it perfectly, although we may stumble, He will lift us up, if we are willing and obedient, The Spirit of God, is The Holy Spirit, the very power God uses to do all things, he will share it with those who finally get what love means.
Ancient Israel had an opportunity to be an example in the carnal world, that, to the degree they drew close to God and His ways He would bless—they failed miserably—just as any carnal, unconverted, Human would.
Faith comes by hearing, which means doing the will of God, not just knowing His words, but by being converted through the truth in those words, without faith it is impossible to please God. So God gives faith to those who are willing and obedient, and they live by Christ living His life in them, these can know and keep the perfect law of God, to the extent they are faithful to God.

Mubarak, you need to find out more concerning what Christians believe about Christ’s death upon the cross and His resurrection from the grave and what those actions accomplished concerning the forgiveness of sins and the fulfillment of God’s words in the Old Testament. You currently seem to have a lack of understanding regarding these matters. But the same can be said of the vast majority of these migrants flooding into Europe……. whom the Pope says he loves so much. The Pope should know that as part of that love he has a duty to bring an understanding of Christ to these people and all the people of the world. Your lack of understanding of the message the Pope is supposed to deliver on the behalf of Christ makes me sad not only for you but for the Pope also.
Mubarak says
Hope my comment/quotation above will make you happy?
CogitoErgoSum says
That depends. What is your understanding as to the meaning of “blasphemy against the Spirit?”
Mubarak says
You blaspheme against the Spirit when you call God a liar and imply that the gospel is a malicious invention and not an expression of the grace of God.
But even then it is not the business of Christians to execute or punish the mockers and disbelievers – as in Islam – but in fear and trembling we should leave the judgment to the God whose judgments are righteous.
And with respect to the law:
“Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.”
“Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.”.
Mark Swan says
Mubarak, I appreciate your views.
CogitoErgoSum says
Mubarak, I agree with you that the punishment of those who blaspheme against the Spirit should be left to God. I do not understand how that relates in any way to your charge that the Pope’s citation of a verse from the Old Testament is hypocritical, however. Christ instituted a new covenant between God and man in order to fulfill the old covenant; therefore, for a Christian the Old Testament must be viewed through the lens of the New Testament. If the Pope were to call for the death penalty in the case of blasphemy, he would be ignoring the words and deeds of Christ per the New Testament (or new covenant) …. and in that way I suppose he could be viewed as a hypocrite.
My problem with the Pope is the way he seems to have endorsed Islam as having come from God when closer examination reveals that Muhammad and Christ had two very opposing messages concerning man’s relationship with God, especially when it comes to the punishment for and forgiveness of sins ……. including the sin of blasphemy.. If the Pope is telling us that Islam comes from God just the same as Christianity, things go beyond hypocrisy. Then the matter involves the Pope being either a fool who has misunderstood his own religion or a liar who.has betrayed Christ.

Implicit in your comment is a misunderstanding. Nothing the pope said here is “infallible.” Infallibility only applies to official pronouncements on faith and dogma, and such pronouncements are only made approximately once a century.
So, no, we don’t have only the two choices you outline. We can just adhere to common sense and call ourselves Christian while also understanding that the men of the Church will be flawed, and people always are.

My guess is that this Poope iss the the sort of good-hearted Nebbish that the cultured despisers of Christianity wish all Christian clergy (regardless of denomination) were; the better to ignore them.
For myself, I’d be open to receiving Christian refugees, and whatever Jews somehow managed to stay in Syria and Iraq through the Ba’athi and post-Ba’athi years (are there any?). Maybe a few “spiritual seeker” types, too (Islam also has its malcontents who don’t quite make the break). Perhaps a few murtad as well. But I’d be very careful about a lot of the practicing Muslims who might come our way. I’d also be very wary about any Middle Eastern Communists who come knocking on our door, and tell them to try Cuba, China, Viet Nam, Laos, or North Korea. We’ve seen two very major destructive forces let loose on the world, and we could well end up like the man who embraces a poor, freezing pit viper to his bosom by allowing too many of their adherents in.

John Hancock was the President of the Continental Congress at the time of the American Revolution. I follow him since I am a descendant of his sister. It is too bad he only discussed the breech between the bible and the koran in a speech. It would have been better if the first congress had made a list of grievances against the koran, similar to what they did against the British government in the Declaration of Independence. They could have discussed the lack of information, and the exchanging of better quotes in the bible for lesser quotes in the koran, and used this as perfect evidence the koran should be abolished. Had they treated the koran in the way they treated the British government, the murderers would have been banned and we could have avoided 9-11, and many lives could have been spared.

Well –
Pope Francis’ close friend, Fethullah Gülen, has told him, and explained to him very carefully, that there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to be feared from the most peaceful – and only true – religion in the world, – and so this makes opposing muslim migrants completely irrational, selfish, and most of all, very un-Christian.
Aside from this – how realistic does Pope Francis think it is for the West to take in EVERY single human being who wants in – muslim or not – because I’m pretty sure there are a LOT of them – and taking in more will only attract more – who then of course should ALSO be allowed in?

A comparison: Francis has done great damage to the Catholic Church as Obama has done great damage to the American Republic. Both of these men have influence and power, but it’s a damn shame that this has been the case. And the damage they have wrought will continue for a very long time to come.
A prediction: Both of these men will go to their grave convinced they have done many good things when, in fact, the exact opposite is the truth.
Francis and Obama: Invincibly ignorant to the end. Count on it. They should pay a price for their many follies—–but they won’t. Yes indeed, life often times is quite unfair.

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters,
with whom the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality, and with the wine of whose sexual immorality the dwellers on earth have become drunk.”
And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns.
The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality.
And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: “Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth’s abominations.”
And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I marveled greatly

Peter: The damn Muzzies in 846 A.D. would have sacked all of Rome but for the walls built by the Emperor Aurelian in the late third century A.D. As it was, they hit the Vaticanum but couldn’t penetrate to the original seven hills of Rome.
With the fool now functioning as Pope, however, Muzzies will be invited into all of Rome, all of the West. No resistance at all necessary. Dispositive, I would argue, of the human tragedy now occupying the throne of St. Peter. A more destructive and harmful Pope in all of papal history would be hard to find. Here, Francis I is a “contender.”
Honestly, I have nothing but contempt for Francis. No person of sense and knowledge should. But look especially, for long-term damage done by him, to the fools aplenty he has (and will in the future most likely) elevate to the College of Cardinals. Rather like the greatest harm Obama has done, and Hillary Clinton will do if elected President, has been and would be their appointments to the federal bench.

Pope Francis says we should encourage “the social integration of child migrants”. Does he mean the rape of thousands of European women by these “child migrants”? Should Europe spread its legs (even further than it has) for the sake of “the social integration of child migrants”? These people are not “children” any more than a serial killer is a “child”. They do not want to be “integrated”; they want to dominate.
As the Infidel Imam, I carefully study the history of Islam, and especially its treatment of Europeans. White women have always been prized as sex slaves in Islam; therefore atrocities such as the Rotherham, UK sex slaving ring, the rise of “taharrush”, and the use of Yazidi women as sex slaves by the Islamic State do not come as a surprise.
What still surprises me, though, are these globalist enemies of Liberty and all good sense, such as Pope Francis, who enable the rape (and assault, and slaughter) of westerners at the hands of the Army of Muhammad. This Pope even has the audacity to blame Christians for wanting to rid themselves of the invasive pest of Islam!

Francis believes in giving until it hurts–hurts the innocent European natives and their descendants and tears the thousands year old fabric of European societies to shreds, so long as his craving to shame everyone short on perfect self-denying purity is satisfied. Why is it impossible to both help refugees and keep them at prudent arm’a length? Did he forget that his Lord also said He was sending His followers out among wolves, and therefore to be wise as serpents, or did he just fall in love with the idea of being as stupid as a pigeon and demand all Christians prove their piety by becoming tasty snacks for wolves?
The wisdom of a real Orthodox saint versus the idiocy of self-preening Roman hypocrite:
In the encampment of the Saracens they asked St. Cyril, Equal to the Apostles and Teacher of the Slavs: «Your God is Christ. He commanded you to pray for enemies, to do good to those who hate and persecute you and to offer the other cheek to those who hit you, but what do you actually do? If anyone offends you, you sharpen your sword and go into battle and kill. Why do you not obey your Christ?» To that, St. Cyril replied: “If two commandments were written in one law and given to men for fulfilling, which man will be a better follower of the law: the one who fulfills one commandment or the one who fulfills both?” To that, the Saracens replied: “Undoubtedly, he who fulfills both commandments.” St. Cyril continued: «Christ is our God Who ordered us to pray for our offenders and to do good to them. He also said that no one can show greater love than he who gives his life for his friends (Jn. 15:3). That is why we generously endure offences caused us as private people. But in company we defend one another and give our lives in battle for our neighbours, so that you, having taken our fellows prisoners, could not imprison their souls together with their bodies by forcing them into renouncing their faith and into godless deeds. Our Christ-loving soldiers protect our Holy Church with arms in their hands. They safeguard the sovereign in whose sacred person they respect the image of the rule of the Heavenly King. They safeguard their land because with its fall the home authority will inevitably fall too and the evangelical faith will be shaken. These are precious pledges for which soldiers should fight to the last. And if they give their lives in battlefield, the Church will include them in the community of the holy martyrs and call them intercessors before God».

I’m not clear on why the Pope thinks he speaks for all Christians. Protestants broke away from the Pope centuries ago. Also, this Pope is a Marxist. This pope is not listening to the church members. Roman Catholics will have no choice but to tell the pope to shut about Islam by withholding their offerings.

The Pope is wrong in saying Christians are hypocrites. They aren’t running away. They aren’t refusing to help. There are ways to help that don’t mean destroying our own country. As a Christian, the most important way to help is to let Muslims know about Jesus. Bringing them into our countries and not evangelizing is hypocrisy. Food and clothing can be delivered anywhere. At every meeting, the Pope should be modeling telling Muslims about Jesus. Jesus forgave (forgives) sin. Sounds like the Pope is just a materialist.
Malcolm (SouthAfria) says
He did not say that Christians are hypocrites, he said those who do not help those in need are.

The devil said to Jesus, “If you are the Son of God, hurl yourself off this mountain.”
satan went on to twist Scripture. trying to get Christ Jesus to kill Himself…to commit suicide.
The pope is twisting Scripture to try to get Christians to commit suicide by inviting moslims in.
Jesus Christ, whom the idiot and finger pointer claims to know and for Whom he claims to speak and represent, once said to the *real* hypocrites: “You are from your father the devil and you wish to do the desires of your father. That one was a murderer when he began and did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him.” (John 8:44) Jesus said the devil is the “father of the lie.”
The devil twisted Scripture when speaking with Jesus Christ on the mountain top, trying to use God’s Word to get Jesus to kill Himself or to perform a miracle for His own needs to be met. The pope is twisting Scripture just as the devil did to try to get Christians to commit suicide.
Those are the words I would say to this fool …who condemns an entire group of people he does not know because they know that what he is doing is feeding the beast that will cut off his head. “You are from your father the devil.”
Christians who recognize that islam is straight from satan and do not wish to dine with the worshippers of satan, are not hypocrites.

Baucent says
The Pope is being very selective of his choice of Biblical verses. Yes it was true the Torah contained laws for the protection of the alien, but these were referring to individual foreigners. Elsewhere there is the prohibition on intermarriage with these other nations and cultures as it would dilute Israel in it’s connection to the patriarchs and corrupt the religion of the nation. Whole people groups were driven out by the Israelites. So the Pope is on shakey ground when using Jewish history and scripture to defend “MASS MIGRATION”, quite a different thing to a few strangers settling in your town. He should know better.
HoneyKira says
I agree with your comment, Baucent. The Catholic Pope likes to twist the words and meanings of the Hebrew scriptures. Individual foreigners were protected in ancient Israel as long as they followed God’s commandments and the laws of the Israelites. In addition, a foreigner had to convert if they married into an Israelite family.

This pope is motivated more by his communist upbringing than any aspects of Catholicism. His politics are hard left wing, in many instances a contradiction to Catholic beliefs. He seems the least bit concerned how Muslims are wiping out Christians in the middle east- why isn’t he calling for Europe to open its doors to middle eastern Christians?
Malcolm (SouthAfria) says
Richie this is a random report not from me. You seem to know more about the Pope than Catholics who have known him for many years, in fact since he was born.
Could you tell us where you get information.
Pope Francis said “there are bloody persecutions, like being torn to pieces by wild beasts to the delight of the audience in the stands or being blown up by a bomb at the end of Mass” and there are “velvet-gloved” persecutions that are “cloaked in politeness”: the ones that marginalize you, take your job away if you fail to adapt to laws that “go against God the Creator.”
The story of the martyrdom of Stephen, described in the Acts of the Apostles in the liturgy of the day, led the Pope to remark on how persecution is a reality that has been part of the history of Christian faith for 2000 years.
“Persecution, I would say, is the daily bread of the Church. Jesus said so himself” he said.
He pointed out that there are tourist sites in Rome like the Colosseum which remind us of the martyrs who were killed there by lions. But – he said – they are not the only ones. There are ordinary men and women of today:
“Today, on Easter Sunday, just three weeks ago… Those Christians who were celebrating Easter in Pakistan were martyred because they were celebrating the Risen Christ. Thus, the history of the Church goes ahead with its martyrs” he said.
Pope Francis pointed out that the martyrdom of Stephen sparked a cruel anti-Christian persecution in Jerusalem similar to the persecution suffered by those who are not free to profess their faith in Jesus today.
“But – he noted – there is another persecution which is not much spoken about,” a persecution “camouflaged by culture, by modernity, by progress in disguise”:
“It is a persecution I would ‘ironically describe as polite” he said.
It’s when someone is persecuted – he explained – for wanting to manifest the values of the Gospel: “It’s persecution against God the Creator in the person of his children!”
And the Pope said that every day the powers that be promulgate laws that oblige one to take certain routes and that nations that do not follow these indications or do not want them to be part of their legislation, are accused and politely persecuted. It’s the kind of the persecution that deprives one of freedom, and of the possibility of conscientious objection.
“This – Pope Francis said – is the persecution of the world” that “takes away freedom” whilst “God made us free” to bear witness to “the Father who created us and to Christ who saved us.”
This persecution he said is perpetrated by the prince of this world.
Referring to the “great apostasy” the Pope said that the life of Christians goes ahead notwithstanding these two persecutions.
Urging the faithful to “be careful,” to not fall into the spirit of the world, Pope Francis assured us of his closeness: “I will be with you” he said.
deja vu says
Malcolm: ‘Pope Francis assured us of his closeness: “I will be with you” he said.’
What a fatuous comment. The Pope will die one day just as any other mortal. More proof, if any is necessary, that the Pope thinks of himself as equal to Christ. It is JESUS who will be with us through persecution, not the Pope.. God has no need of a Vicarius Filii Dei exalting himself in a fortified palace while leading the flock astray. Haven’t you studied Hebrews 4 – Christ, and Christ ALONE, is the Great High Priest in the order of Melchizedek. What need has God of a sinful mortal to usurp His role? The whole edifice of the Roman Catholic Church is built on the lie that Peter founded it. The ekklesia (the body of believers called ‘the church’) is founded on JESUS CHRIST, the cornerstone. It isn’t an self-important, bloated organisation, but a living *organism*, every part necessary to its function and with CHRIST (and Christ alone) as its head. Leaders of the flock are called under-shepherds, and serve the Great Shepherd of the sheep. That is the Biblical blueprint.
The Roman Emperor Constantine established HIMSELF as the head of the church around 313 A.D., which made this new “Christianity” the official religion of the Roman Empire – note: Constantine was not established by God. The first actual Pope in Rome was probably Leo I (440-461 A.D.), although some claim that Gregory I was the first (590-604 A.D.). This ungodly system eventually ushered in the darkest period of history known to man, properly known as the “Dark Ages” (500-1500 A.D.) Biblical Christianity became illegal and many were persecuted by the RCC during those years.
Jesus gave the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Note: Jesus did not ask His disciples to bring people to the Roman Catholic Church but to HIMSELF. He, and He ALONE is worthy. The key issue for you is, do you agree with that or not? If not, you need to examine yourself – who are you putting your trust in?
Malcolm (SouthAfria) says
In Jesus and the one Church He created.
deja vu says
In Christ alone our hope is found. Not any ‘church’ which is merely gathering of redeemed sinners, precious to Him but not equal to Him in any way. Even redeemed sinners continue to sin, the Pope included.
Do NOT put your faith in any church, but in Jesus Christ alone. Let go of the hold the RCC has on you – it is a purely personal relationship with you that He covets. If you are saved your name is written in the Book of Life – full stop. Those who are His are known to Him only. He came to set you free, not to burden you with dogma and obligations like the Pharisees. Turn to Him and let Him guide you from His Word by His Spirit. Sola Christus! Sola Scriptura! Amen

deja vu,
Amen and Amen.
As a former Roman Catholic I’m in agreement with your assessment.
deja vu says, “This ungodly system eventually ushered in the darkest period of history known to man, properly known as the “Dark Ages” (500-1500 A.D.) Biblical Christianity became illegal and many were persecuted by the RCC during those years.”
Prof. David A. Plaisted, a graduate of Stanford University, now at the University of North Carolina, has done an extensive study on the number of people that were murdered by the Roman Catholic Church in the Middle Ages and later.
http://arcticbeacon.com/books/Plaisted-Estimates_Number_Killed_by_the_Papacy-2006.pdf
Prof Plaisted’s study re-affirms the number of people murdered at approximately 50 million, talk about advancing Religion by the sword, Islam may have learned a thing or two from the RCC.
It seems that reading the Bible was high on the hit list as the RCC had to do everything possible to protect the fraud that they were perpetrating on the people.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge,
I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children.”
– Hosea 4:6
Chris Pinto @ Noise of Thunder Radio – http://www.noiseofthunderradio.com/ and Adullum Films – http://www.adullamfilms.com/ – has done extensive research on the RCC.
In one of his DVD’s, he states that a woman accused of being a Heretic by the RCC had two choices, she could confess to being a Heretic, in which case, she was buried alive or deny being a heretic and be burned at the stake!!
Advancing by the sword, the torture and murder of millions of people by the RCC, is the exact opposite of the teaching of Our Lord and Savior, Yeshua HaMashiach and the Bible and more in line with the teaching of Mohammad and the Qur’an.
It seems that the RCC is fallible after all, Money, Power and Control, not much different than their Secular counter-parts.

“Urging the faithful to “be careful,” to not fall into the spirit of the world, Pope Francis assured us of his closeness: “I will be with you” he said.”
Pope Francis said will be with whom?
And from your other comment:

“In Jesus and the one Church He created.”
I hope you’re not talking about the RCC. Jesus Christ created no such entity.

Then tell us which one He did.

Nice try at changing the topic. Know that I do not play games. Please answer me:

The is the second obvious instance where the Pope confirmed that he isn’t infallible. Nothing hypocritical about wanting peaceful Muslim migrants.

Of course he’s not infallible. He’s just a mortal man, like anyone else.
Robert DuPaul says
Maybe the Pope should go to Syria and negotiate a for a peaceful outcome if he is successful there will be no need for people to leave their homes and become migrants! If he could accomplish that he would certainly be made a saint!

Well then, the pope must be the greatest hypocrite there is because he hasn’t once open the door of his Vatican palace for the muslim refugees to move in or swung the Vatican gate wide open for them to camp at his Vatican ground to share all his luxuries and riches the poor of the world could only ency.

Shin Lam, the pope must not think of himself as a “Christian”, since he has no “refugees” with him in the vatican….

Debate about Vatican II: Fr. Gleize responds to Msgr. Ocariz 23-12-2011
“The fact of Vatican II: new teachings contrary to Tradition
On at least four points, the teachings of the Second Vatican Council are obviously in logical contradiction to the pronouncements of the previous traditional Magisterium, so that it is impossible to interpret them in keeping with the other teachings already contained in the earlier documents of the Church’s Magisterium. Vatican II has thus broken the unity of the Magisterium, to the same extent to which it has broken the unity of its object.
These four points are as follows. The doctrine on religious liberty, as it is expressed in no. 2 of the Declaration Dignitatis humanae, contradicts the teachings of Gregory XVI in Mirari vos and of Pius IX in Quanta cura as well as those of Pope Leo XIII in Immortale Dei and those of Pope Pius XI in Quas primas. The doctrine on the Church, as it is expressed in no. 8 of the Constitution Lumen gentium, contradicts the teachings of Pope Pius XII in Mystici corporis and Humani generis. The doctrine on ecumenism, as it is expressed in no. 8 of Lumen gentium and no. 3 of the Decree Unitatis redintegratio, contradicts the teachings of Pope Pius IX in propositions 16 and 17 of the Syllabus, those of Leo XIII in Satis cognitum, and those of Pope Pius XI in Mortalium animos. The doctrine on collegiality, as it is expressed in no. 22 of the Constitution Lumen gentium, including no. 3 of the Nota praevia [Explanatory Note], contradicts the teachings of the First Vatican Council on the uniqueness of the subject of supreme power in the Church, in the Constitution Pastor aeternus.

Well, much as I am wary of Muslim immigration, I had an interesting experience today.
One of my male students from Afghanistan, who has hijab-wearing sisters, was reading the Bible before class, with evident interest. May God bless his curiosity.

After numerous attempts dating back to the seventh century, Constantinople, the jewel of Eastern Christendom, finally fell in 1453 to the armies of Sultan Mahomet II. Lest one ascribe the atrocities of the first wave of jihad to the “Arabness” of its perpetrators, the Turks showed they were fully capable of living up to the principles of the Quran and the Sunnah.
Paul Fregosi in his book Jihad describes the scene following the final assault on Constantinople:
Several thousand of the survivors had taken refuge in the cathedral: nobles, servants, ordinary citizens, their wives and children, priests and nuns. They locked the huge doors, prayed, and waited. {Caliph} Mahomet {II} had given the troops free quarter. They raped, of course, the nuns being the first victims, and slaughtered. At least four thousand were killed before Mahomet stopped the massacre at noon.
He ordered a muezzin {one who issues the call to prayer} to climb into the pulpit of St. Sophia and dedicate the building to Allah. It has remained a mosque ever since. Fifty thousand of the inhabitants, more than half the population, were rounded up and taken away as slaves. For months afterward, slaves were the cheapest commodity in the markets of Turkey.
Mahomet asked that the body of the dead emperor be brought to him. Some Turkish soldiers found it in a pile of corpses and recognized Constantine {XI} by the golden eagles embroidered on his boots. The sultan ordered his head to be cut off and placed between the horse’s legs under the equestrian bronze statue of the emperor Justinian. The head was later embalmed and sent around the chief cities of the Ottoman empire for the delectation of the citizens.
Next, Mahomet ordered the Grand Duke Notaras, who had survived, be brought before him, asked him for the names and addresses of all the leading nobles, officials, and citizens, which Notaras gave him. He had them all arrested and decapitated. He sadistically bought from their owners {i.e., Muslim commanders} high-ranking prisoners who had been enslaved, for the pleasure of having them beheaded in front of him. (Fregosi, Jihad, 256-7.)
Dennis Richardson says
This Pope who occupies the very office that has been the called the “Vicar of Christ” on earth is supposed to be representing Jesus Christ. This Pope Francis I has said that Christ failed in HIS mission to save humanity. That statement not only is the greatest lie ever spoken but this Pope is a hypocrite if there has ever been such a
person. This Pope Francis I, is an anti-Pope that even Catholics are lamenting of him. Pope Francis I has proven that he is a Jesuit, but also Freemasonry and Illuminati subordinate. In 1540 the Jesuit order was created by Francis Borgia with the Borgia family Illuminati influence when he assigned Ignatius Loyola as the Supreme Jesuit General with Pope Paul 3’s approval. Hypocrisy thy name is Pope Francis I.

The Apostle John, who actually did know Jesus Christ, wrote of the *anti-Christ*.. the one “not bringing this teaching”…these words to abide by:..”Never receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him (2 John 1:10).”
moslims don’t just *not* “bring this teaching”…they say it is all wrong and portray Jesus as One Who will murder Christians upon His return. We should not “receive them into” our homes.
The pope is a tool of satan the devil…a spokesman for satan…a child of the devil. No one should listen to him.
