Boycott Jewish goods. We have seen this before in Europe.
“Diplomatic officials in Jerusalem said they were puzzled as to why France chose this present moment in time to publish the directive, since the EU guidelines have existed for over a year but so far have not been implemented.”
Probably to appease France’s growing Muslim population.
“French retailers ordered to label ‘settlement’ products,” by Nitsan Keidar, Israel National News, November 25, 2016:
Israel reacted angrily on Thursday after France issued a directive to all importers and retail chains in the country that they must now label products originating in Judea, Samaria, eastern Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.
The directive is an application of the guidelines issued last year by the European Commission.
According to the new provision, “The Golan Heights, eastern Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria are occupied territories and are not considered part of Israel. Therefore, in order to avoid misleading consumers, please mark products from those places and make it clear where they came from – and refrain from indicating they were made in Israel.”
Local retail chains and importers are required to clearly indicate that these products were produced in “occupied areas” to avoid confusion with Palestinian Authority-based products.
Diplomatic officials in Jerusalem said they were puzzled as to why France chose this present moment in time to publish the directive, since the EU guidelines have existed for over a year but so far have not been implemented.
The Foreign Ministry issued a strong response to the decision, stating, “The Israeli government condemns the French government’s decision to implement the guidelines of the European Commission in relation to marking Israeli products originating beyond the ’67 borders.”
“We regret that France, at a time when there are anti-boycott laws, promotes such measures, which can be interpreted as a boost to radical elements and to the boycott movement against Israel. Moreover, it is puzzling and disturbing that France adopts a double standard in relation to Israel, while ignoring 200 territorial conflicts currently taking place around the world, including those taking place right on its doorstep,” added the Foreign Ministry’s statement….

Leave it to the cowardly, anti-Semitic, and appeasing French. They almost deserve the nightmare of islamization that is destroying their country.

BUT, when you invite SATAN IN, this is always the result!
Islam is a vile, putrid, evil CANCER! It has destroyed many a Nation, many a people. If France can’t stop this CANCER from spreading, there will be NO HOPE of survival.
It’s that simple.

I very much agree, which is why Mein Kampt is the best selling book around muslims in Europe. Angela Merkel is person who allowed a lot of this to happen. Hillray in a debate said that Merkel is the world leader she most admires. Wow!

Now everyone will know where to buy excellent Israeli produce. Let us hope this increases the sales of their exports.
In fact why don’t the French press for more information and insist that all meat which is halal slaughtered is labelled as such, then people who dislike this cruelty know which to avoid.
Westman says
I’m a little bewildered by this ruling as well. For high-tech products there would just be a change in final assembly to be within “Israel” and a definite avoidance by world industrialists of complex products that are marked as made in the “settlements. That will discrminate against genuine “occupied territory Palestinian” products which will be generally regarded as inferior.
Only agricultural products would ultimately be affected. Just how much of Israel’s products do the generally poor BDS students and supporters buy?
This seems to make more of a statement of official animosity toward Israel than an effective economic policy to advance “Palestinians”. Heil Hollande…

The Europeans traded 6 million Jews for 20 million Arabs to convince themselves they were cured of Jew hatred but they just can’t stop hating Jews.
The only country in the world, the only Jewish country, acquires land in a war it didn’t start and is expected to give it back.
The Jew hatred extend beyond Europe deep into the American press and diplomatic corps.
The entire premise of placing both the Jewish and Palestinian/Arab people and their respective goals on the same moral plane is perverse and heinous.
American press and diplomats do this for their own personal, financial and ideological benefit.
These corrupt groups have been clamoring for decades to throw Israel under the Arab bus to score brownie points with their Arab counterparts.
Hugh Fitzgerald says
Make sure, when in France, to go out of your way to buy goods labelled as coming from Israeli “settlements” — that is, towns and villages and cities. And if the stores you frequent don’t have such goods, politely ask the store’s management to stock them. And make clear that you willl continue to frequent the store in question only if they stock such goods.
Marty says
Good idea, but I won’t be visiting France. Its Jewish community is (wisely) fleeing. The French have determined to convert their country into am islamic hellhole. They are welcome to it.

I believe the translation of this is “What you sow, you will reap.” Amen. But this cowardly and despicable directive is typical of modern France, going back at least as far as Dreyfus. And, to quote the estimable Zola, “J’accuse!”

The wording of directive is interesting; who helped whom with that?
A country feeling itself subdued (vanquished) and broadcasting the national hatred on labels. Might just as well add a Mr.Yuk face.
Or– skip this labelling nonsense and cease importation of all ‘filthy Juden’ merchandise.

how many Frenchmen does it take to defend Paris? Who knows, it’s never been tried.
The funny thing is: there are probably more French Mohammedans who will take up arms against the jihadis than regular Frenchies. The Muslims grocers across the road from where we lived in Paris, had a kosher section and very nice Israeli wines.

Everytime there was a Boycott Israel day (there seem to be many during the year) we went to the 3rd arrondissement to go shopping at one of the nice Jewish supermarkets and get a bottle of wonderful Israeli red wine. We raised a glass to Israel and death to her enemies.
Thus, I am grateful to the French socialists to remind the French citizenry that some products (for instance, Israeli mustards are still free of preservatives and additives unlike some) are of better quality than others.

How blind can this appeasing French government be? It can only be to placate the hate-machine of the Palestinians who have no idea where they’ll end up, but no matter how long it takes for them, they must assure themselves that hate for the Jews remains intact. Perhaps even before their food and shelter. The French government seeks any short-lived reprieve it can get as the Arabs go parading in French cities and towns.
The Israeli government should tell France to go to hell (because its not far from it anyway) and leave the French market in order to concentrate on the opening of other markets if they will still cling to exporting to the EU.
I believe that certain Israeli products operations employ Arabs, therefore there are Arabs dependent upon Israeli export of its products. As usual, such employed Arabs are”cutting off their own noses to spite their faces.” Their political/religious leaders don’t mind exposing Arab families to hardship, they want them to be angry and violent.
Those Arabs who are employed by Israeli export business rely on the incomes Israeli businesses pay them for their work. Leaving the French market will be less Israeli business incomes,at least temporarily, therefore there will be less need to employ workers.
The French decision is not being done to benefit anyone, Jew or Arab. It is strictly to plead with Muslims in France to “go easy, boys,” Armee de France is not capable of stepping up to defend France at home or anywhere else.
I did sympathize with that government at one time, but the people haven’t got the minimum amount of gray matter which would tell them to vote for LePen or someone of the same nationalist tenacity. Hollande is an empty suit who is no better than Germany’s Merkel. They both are selling out their nations!

If the EU forced me to label products coming from Israel I would put a yellow sticker on each product:
A yellow hexagonal star with “Made in Israel” and “EU label: designed in Germany 1934”.
