Iranian military leader: Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps “will be in the U.S. and Europe very soon”

Nov 2, 2016 2:13 pm By Robert Spencer

The IRGC is the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, not “the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps” as in this article, but apparently even the Free Beacon is given to the prevailing politically correct whitewashing. Anyway, this article shows that Obama’s claims that Iran has been neutralized or pacified by the nuclear deal are just more deceptive nonsense.

irgc-iran

“Military Leader: Iran Sending Elite Fighters Into U.S., Europe,” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, November 2, 2016:

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, the country’s elite military force, is sending assets to infiltrate the United States and Europe at the direction of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, according to recent Farsi-language comments from an Iranian military leader.

The IRGC “will be in the U.S. and Europe very soon,” according to the Iranian military commander, who said that these forces would operate with the goal of bolstering Iran’s hardline regime and thwarting potential plots against the Islamic Republic.

“The whole world should know that the IRGC will be in the U.S. and Europe very soon,” Salar Abnoush, deputy coordinator of Iran’s Khatam-al-Anbia Garrison, an IRGC command front, was quoted as saying in an Iranian state-controlled publication closely tied to the IRGC.

The military leader’s comments come as Iran is spending great amounts of money to upgrade its military hardware and bolster its presence throughout the Middle East and beyond. Iran intends to spend billions to purchase U.S.-made planes that are likely to be converted for use in its air force.

Congressional leaders and others suspect that Iran has used a large portion of the cash windfall it received as a result of last summer’s nuclear agreement to upgrade its fighting capabilities war machine.

“The IRGC is [the] strong guardian of the Islamic Republic,” Abnoush was quoted as saying. “The Fedayeen of Velayat [fighting force] are under the order of Iran’s Supreme leader. Defending and protecting the Velayat [the Supreme Leader] has no border and limit.”…

“Our enemies have several projects to destroy our Islamic revolution, and have waged three wars against us to execute their plans against our Islamic Republic,” Abnoush said. “The IRGC has defeated enemies in several fronts. The enemy surrendered and accepted to negotiate with us.”

“And now all of our problems are being solved and our country is becoming stronger in all fronts. Some believe the holy defense ended,” the military leader added. “They are wrong; the holy defense continues, and today, it is more complicated than before.”…

Some elucidating background to the Iranian story:

It is worth remembering that just as the US government sided with islamic jihadist groups in other parts of the ME and wrecked stable governments in Iraq, Libya, Egypt, Yemen and Syria, in 1979 the US government turned their backs on the Shah of Iran (remember also the Mubarak of Egypt, an ally of the US and how the US government dumped him and sided with muslim brotherhood islamist thugs) in the same way, the US government then sided with Khumeinist revolutionaries thinking that the Khumeinist Shiite islamists in Iran would be a new puppet for the US government but when the new Iranian government refused to be a US puppet, the US government and the West started demonizing Iran and instigated and armed Saddam Hussein to invade Iran. It amazing how the US and the West are in bed with Saudi Arabia and its jihadist proxies which are far, far more dangerous than Iran in every way. For example, in January, 1979 (…the US government told a Khomeini envoy that they were – in principle – open to the idea of changing the Iranian constitution, effectively abolishing the monarchy. And they gave the ayatollah a key piece of information – that the Iranian military leaders were flexible about their political future…) The BBC’s un-archived article below tells us that the US government was extremely eager to get rid off their long time ally, the Shah of Iran and were enthusiastically cooperating with Shiite Khumeinists and wanted them to depose the Shah! Christianblood cannot make up his mind whether to try to blame the US for the existence of the Islamic Republic of Iran–which is, of course, absurd–or to laud them for giving those “filthy Infidels” what for!

Certainly, he cannot bring himself to criticize that bloody Shari’ah state–not so long as Putin is playing footsie with them.

That is what separates the real Anti-Jihadists from those who just hate the West–we condemn Islamic savagery wherever we find it, and see no conflict in criticizing Saudi Arabia, Iran, and every other Islamic sh*t hole.

Hilarious, isn’t it? On one topic he boasts about how good Christians have it in Iran while on other topic he accuses the US of being the sole responsible for ushering in the jihadi government of Iran. Never mind that the Soviets tried to assassinate the Sha on several occasions. Never mind that the Iranian Revolutionary Movement was riddled with, and supported by, Soviet spies and Iranian Communist Collaborators, all of them round up and executed after the revolution settled in. No, according to CB, the jihadi govenment of Iran, who is wonderful on its treatment of religious minorities, is the sole result of US foreign policy.

“Certainly, he cannot bring himself to criticize that bloody Shari’ah state–not so long as Putin is playing footsie with them.

Yes – a point that I’ve been making for almost a year now. I, you, and many others here oppose Saudi Arabia the same way, and for the same reason, we oppose Iran, or Afghanistan, or the Islamic State – because all of them read the same book and worship the same prophet. The likes of CB have their allegiances based on other factors – Saudi Arabia is aligned with Washington, so they are to be demonized but Iran is aligned with Moscow so they are to be lauded, unless demonizing Iran makes the US look bad, in which case demonize away.

BTW, GI, here is an article from one of CB’s trusted “news” sources (i.e., Russian state propaganda outlets). It has some interesting comparisons between the USSR and Khomeini’s Iran:

          https://sputniknews.com/analysis/20130222179632716-Lesser-Satan-Yourself-How-Iran-Channels-the-Soviet-Union/

Keep that in mind and remember how, in 1989, Khomeini sent Gorbatchev a letter, saying that Communism was destroying the USSR from the inside out and asking him to consider islam as an alternative to Communism.

“Some elucidating background to the Iranian story:”

Is it about how the Soviet union tried to assassinate the Sha on several occasions? How Soviet spies and Iranian communist collaborators saw Khomeini as a “fellow traveller” in their quest to get rid of the West-friendly Sha? How they were infiltrated in Khomeini’s revolution to the highest levels, only to be round up and executed after he came to power? How Alexander Sakharovsky, the head of KGB intelligence bragged that “in today’s world, when nuclear arms have made military force obsolete, terrorism should become our main weapon”? That he claimed to have invented airplane hijacking? That the KGB supported all sorts of “revolutionary liberation fronts” all over the world, including islamist groups in the muslim world long before the Sha was overthrow? Or is it more of your usual claptrap about the US being big meanies and t lame for everything wrong in the Middle East?

“It is worth remembering that just as the US government sided with islamic jihadist groups in other parts of the ME and wrecked stable governments in Iraq, Libya, Egypt, Yemen and Syria, in 1979 the US government turned their backs on the Shah of Iran”

        The usual claptrap it is.

“(remember also the Mubarak of Egypt”

How about, instead, we remember Anwar Sadat , who turned his back on Moscow and approached Washington and was murdered for it? His successor, Mubarak, who trained in Soviet schools, was more friendly to Moscow than Sadat.

“an ally of the US and how the US government dumped him and sided with muslim brotherhood islamist thugs) ”

It seems that you’re forgetting a couple of key details: both Mubarak and the Sha faced internal opposition and protests on the streets. Both Iran and Egypt were at the brink of civil war. If the US had stood with the Sha and Mubarak, and Iran and Egypt were plagued by civil wars as a consequence, you’d be here telling us how the big, tyrannical US had started civil wars by not letting the free people of Iran and Egypt overthrow Western puppets.

“in the same way, the US government then sided with Khumeinist revolutionaries thinking that the Khumeinist Shiite islamists in Iran would be a new puppet for the US government ”

        Citation needed.

“but when the new Iranian government refused to be a US puppet, the US government and the West started demonizing Iran”

This is blatantly false. Khomeini, after coming to power, took American citizens as hostages. How can one demonize a demon to begin with, especially one that started out by, well, acting as a demon?

“and instigated and armed Saddam Hussein to invade Iran.”

And, of course, there’s no evidence to back this claim. Saddam was a sunni leader in a country where over half of the population is shia. Khomeini was a shia leader of a shia revolution to bring shia islam to power. Do you expect us to think that Saddam did not fear that the shias might do the same in Iraq?

“It amazing how the US and the West are in bed with Saudi Arabia and its jihadist proxies which are far, far more dangerous than Iran in every way. ”

Saudi Arabia is more dangerous than Iran, a nation whose state religion is suicidal and genocidal, and hopes to usher in the Apocalypse by nuking Israel, he only safe haven for Christians in the entire Middle East? Lol!!!

“The BBC’s un-archived article below tells us that the US government was extremely eager to get rid off their long time ally, the Shah of Iran and were enthusiastically cooperating with Shiite Khumeinists and wanted them to depose the Shah!”

It tells no such thing. It says that Iran was in the verge of civil war and that Carter, dopey as he was, believed that the best way to prevent it was not to act and let the Soviet-supported islamic revolution proceed. But, of course, a paid troll needs to earn his paycheck, so here you are, spewing the same nonsense and lies over and over.

Not necessarily….FoxNews: US Europe at adds over Revolutionary Guard backed airline
WASHINGTON – An Iranian airline, backed by the country’s notorious Revolutionary Guard and used to ferry weapons and fighters to support Syria’s government, has acquired rights to fly commercial routes in more than a dozen European and Asian countries in spite of U.S. terror-related sanctions.

The agreement Iran and six other world powers signed last year ended some of the sanctions that had punished and isolated Iran for its nuclear program. But sanctions for ballistic missile research, terrorism, human rights violations and money laundering remain in place.

Mahan Air, the country’s second-largest carrier, is under terror-related sanctions. The U.S. has accused the company of providing “transportation, funds transfers and personnel travel services” to the Revolutionary Guard’s elite Quds Forces, flying them and weapons to Syria to train Hezbollah militants, Syrian army troops and others.

Many countries honored the U.S. terror sanctions and blocked Mahan Air. But weeks before the nuclear deal was signed in July 2015, the airline announced it was launching a route to Munich — its second German destination. A wave of new routes to 15 countries followed, including France, Russia, China and Italy. France and Denmark were added in June 2016, and talks continue to add more routes in Europe.

That’s *exactly* what it is. But in the absence of a Caliphate–or in the case of the Shia, one they recognize–every act of aggression has to be framed, not matter how absurdly, as “defensive”.

Muslims and their apologists argue that Mohammed’s many attacks were “defensive”.

According to them Muslims are never, and never have been, the aggressors! Taqiyya at it’s most dangerous level?

Again, they are following the example of their “Perfact Man” (but, as they should know from their Hadith, actually a murderer, plunderer, rapist, misogynist, lecher, sex-slaver, deceiver, paedophile and self-admitted TERRORIST – “I have been made victorious through terror”).

They regard a narcissistic psychopath (surely the genuine “vilest of creatures”) as their “Perfect Man”.
