Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Jimmy Carter wants UN to impose a Palestinian state by fiat, with US recognition

Nov 30, 2016 8:27 am By Christine Douglass-Williams

In a cynical gesture repeated each year, the UN observes the “International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People” on Nov. 29, turning a positive anniversary into a pretext for Israel-bashing and antisemitism.

Jimmy Carter has taken full advantage of this “cynical gesture,” going so far as to call on Obama to “recognize ‘Palestine’ before he leaves office on Jan. 20, and to push for the admission of ‘Palestine’ into the United Nations as a full member.”

All the while, the jihadist, racist, apartheid Palestinian Leader Mahmoud Abbas has stated: “In a final resolution, we would not see the presence of a single Israeli – civilian or soldier – on our lands”. Note Abbas’ use of the word “final solution,” a well-known phrase for “the Nazi plan for the extermination of the Jews.”

In a piece that well describes “the moral disintegration of Jimmy Carter,” Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, once targeted by the leftist media “for coming out as a Republican,” stated:

Carter’s pronouncements on the Middle East have become so toxic that had he not once been the American Commander-in-Chief they would be dismissed as the ravings of a man utterly out of touch with reality.

Carter has also called Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal “a strong proponent of the peace process,” and refused to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last year because he called it “a waste of time.” Carter has also tried to push America into recognizing Hamas, despite its murderous campaign against the Jewish state.

“Jimmy Carter: U.S. Must Recognize ‘Palestine’ at United Nations”, by Joel B. Pollak, Breitbart, November 28, 2016:

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter has written an op-ed in the New York Times, “America Must Recognize Palestine,” which is filled with outright lies and fails to condemn — or even address — Palestinian terror……

In a cynical gesture repeated each year, the UN observes the “International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People” on Nov. 29, turning a positive anniversary into a pretext for Israel-bashing and antisemitism.

Carter’s op-ed is no exception. He calls on President Barack Obama to recognize “Palestine” before he leaves office on Jan. 20, and to push for the admission of “Palestine” into the United Nations as a full member — despite the fact that “Palestine” has no fixed borders; is divided between the West Bank and Gaza; encourages terror against its neighbor, and has shown no interest in abiding by basic international human rights norms, even towards its own potential Muslim and Christian citizens.

The former president writes that “most” Palestinians in the “occupied territories” — it is never clear which ones he means — “live largely under Israeli military rule.” That is a blatant lie, as the roughly 1.7 million Palestinians in Gaza are ruled by the Hamas terrorist organization, and nearly all of the 2.7 million Palestinians in the West Bank live under the direct control of the Palestinian Authority.

He also claims that “600,000 Israeli settlers in Palestine enjoy the benefits of Israeli citizenship and laws.” The number of Israeli settlers in the West Bank is roughly 300,000 at most; Carter is clearly counting Jewish residents of Jerusalem as “settlers,” an absurd claim that denies Israeli sovereignty and Jewish history in the country’s capital city.

Carter wants the United Nations to impose a Palestinian state by fiat, with U.S. recognition of “Palestine” being the catalyst: “I am certain that United States recognition of a Palestinian state would make it easier for other countries that have not recognized Palestine to do so, and would clear the way for a Security Council resolution on the future of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” he writes.

He makes no mention of Palestinian terrorism, and ignores the future status of Jerusalem.

You mean Crimea’s reunification with Russia? Remember, Crimea was always part of Russia until a few decades ago, Nikita Khrushchev, the Soviet leader who was himself a Ukrainian included it in the Ukrainian territory.

This is why I disagree with Jimmy Carter’s policies in the ME:
In principal, Jimmy Carter, forgets or ignores that Arabs have 22 independent countries among themselves whereas the Jewish people have only their ancient homeland which is the ancient State of Israel and that Arabs’ hatred for the state of Israel is not actually about land but more about long-standing islamic supremacism and islamic antisemitism.

Syria, Iraq, etc. were part of the Turkish Ottoman empire a few decades ago. Should they return to be Turkish provinces?

“This is why I disagree with Jimmy Carter’s policies in the ME:

          ”

Part of the former Turkish empire. If you had any sort of internal consistency, you should be demanding them to be reunited with Turkey. Isn’t that the logic you employ regarding Crimea and Russia?

“whereas the Jewish people have only their ancient homeland which is the ancient State of Israel and that Arabs’ hatred for the state of Israel is not actually about land but more about long-standing islamic supremacism and islamic antisemitism.”

None of that actually addresses anything Carter said regarding Israel, it’s just a generic cookie-cutter statement that pro-Israelis like myself (not anti-Israelis conspiracy theory peddles like yourself, who claimed Israel is allied with ISIS) say.

Anyway, if Israel your only source of disagreement with Carter, you have some explaining to do. Carter said this:

the only real chance of ending the conflict was for the United States and Russia to be joined by Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia in preparing a comprehensive peace proposal.

He also stated that Assad had no choice but resign. You should be opposing him as a matter or principle, seeing how you’ve been ranting over and over about how terrible Saudi Arabia and Turkey are (all along while whitewashing genocidal Iran), and how Assad is the legitimate ruler of Syria. Why, then, are you openly praising someone who promotes everything you claim to be wrong?

Here’s the brilliant Daniel Greenfield’s dissection of Carter’s stance on Syria:

Actually, Crimea was only conquered by Catherine the Great in 1783. The white Russians held it between 1918 – 1920. Under the Soviet Union it was administered as it’s own “republic” until it became part of the Ukraine in 1954 (with the exception of the Nazi occupation). So, it was part of Russia for about 170 years, and during the rest of human history it belonged to someone else. That is hardly “always.”

Russia got the Crimea by force. The Ukraine got it peacefully (with Russian consent). And Russia took it back by force. This, of course, is how most boarders are established and it doesn’t necessarily mean Russia shouldn’t have the Crimea, but it does show that you view on Crimea is skewed.

Indeed. And during the years Ukraine was under Russian rule, Russian rulers exerted brutal measures to wipe out Ukrainian national, political and linguistic traits. It’s no wonder that Carter sides with the “Palestinians”, who are actively trying to erase traces of Jewish identity and presence in the history of that area…

          there should be:

You realize that Carter did *NOT* say that Israel had no right to exist, right? He said that the US should recognize the “Palestinian” state. You didn’t read the article, did you? You’re simply throwing bullet points and hoping something sticks…

Iraqis and Syrians are Arabs but the Turks and not Arabs so they are of different nationalities and languages. The overwhelming majority of Crimeans are ethnically Russian, speak Russian and are Orthodox whereas the majority of the rest of the Ukrainians are ethnically Ukrainian (except in the Donbas region) which also is Orthodox and Russian-speaking. Ethnic Ukrainians are also religiously mixed and can be Catholic, Orthodox or of the Eastern Catholic rite and Protestant.

And there it is, the hypocrisy flaring up. “Yes, I’m all for returning former provinces to their previous owners, except for that one case. And that other one. Or that other one. I’m just in favour of doing so in this particular case”. BTW, does one’s ethnicity has any bearing in their nationality? By your “logic”, since Iraqis and Syrians are Arabs, Iraq and Syria should be made provinces of Saudi Arabia, no? If that’s your justification for the invasion of a sovereign nation, all nations worldwide would do well in immediately terminating all immigration from Russia to their countries, as well as exiling ethnic Russians and Russian-speakers to Russia, lest Putin decides to “defend” Russian citizens in, for example, London or the south of France, where he and his cronies like to spend the fortunes they pillaged from the honest, hard-working Russian people.

“Ethnic Ukrainians are also religiously mixed and can be Catholic, Orthodox or of the Eastern Catholic rite and Protestant.”

Huh, you know that religion and ethnicity are different things, right? Religion is NOT determined by nationality or by ethnicity. Are there any laws in Russia preventing Russians from being Catholic or Protestants?

          Angemon.
I like and aggree with many of your posts, but restpectfully disagree with your views on Crimea.
The parallel with Ottoman Empire is false. Turks took the territories by force. The ethnicity, language and culture was totally different from local population, which considered turks as a foreign power.
I visited Crimea in 1962. There was nothing Ukrainian about it. The population was all russians and not ones I heard a ukranian word from anybody. “The gift”, Khruchev made, was met with deep resentment by the locals, who knew that ukranian nationalism would meen discrimination of the russian population. Minority of ukranians became the elite and the russian majority – second class.
BTW, even after a few decades of ukranian domination, ukranians were still a minority in Crimea. Almost all of the soviet top officials in USSR after Stalin, and all presidents, had ukranian background. All of them spoke with ukranian accent. They encouraged ukranian nationalism as long as it was within the party lines.
It is difficult to imagine without seeing it, but ukranian nationalism is one of the ugliest thing I ever witnessed and this is by the country, whose contribution to the world culture or science has been negligible compared to its size.

          Gene.
Russia did take Crimea by force as it was a region populated by moslem tatars and severely influenced by Turkey. It was a constant threat to russian southern boarders. Tatars were exiled after the WWII as a result of their collaboration with Germany.

If you think that a rabid anti-semite like Carter is a man of G-d, your moral standards are very questionable. He was a disaster as president and many problems we face now are result of his actions. Men of G-d usually have a different legacy. He is a proven hypocrite, who pushes for another moslem terrorist state, where christians will be the dhimmis with no rights. Many will lose their lives. He is a man of devil, not G-d.

I stand by it. They were both provinces of spent, dismantled, imploded empires – if one is going to claim “well, but you know, this territory here was part of my empire at one given time so it should be mine forever” them he should apply that logic to ALL examples, not just the ones he has a personal interest in.

“I visited Crimea in 1962. There was nothing Ukrainian about it. The population was all russians and not ones I heard a ukranian word from anybody. ”

That’s not justification for an invasion. Crimea is Ukrainian territory, whether Putin likes it or not. It’s almost impossible not to draw parallels between Putin’s claims to Crimea and Hilter’s claims to Austria or Czechoslovakia.

Sadly, he’s brainwashing youngsters and preparing thousands to be- and think just like him.

He himself was indoctrinated with the claim that the Jews Killed God…; and that perhaps explains his current status, but it’s not at all flattering to his intellect that even as a grown man, he didn’t have the brains to work out the truth, and grow out of his church-created hatred for the Jews.

Now he’s ensuring that many more generations of children will grow up with his distorted world view…

Carter was the ONE who allowed the USA to be HUMILIATED by the Muslim Iranians with the hostages

Carter continues to support the so called Palestinians (who CELEBRATED the holocaust of the twin towers) against Israel
      ………………………….

      This is true.

      More:

Reading the Bible without COMPREHENDING it, is the same as a donkey carrying a load of books of intellect

He is NOT a Christian because he supports the very Muslims who are literally EXTERMINATING Christians from the Middle East

Carter is a contemptible creature who has only been surpassed by his irrelevance by Barack H Obama
      …………………………

Yes–Carter has Obama to thank for saving him from being the worst president in our history.

Carter’s pronouncements on the Middle East have become so toxic that had he not once been the American Commander-in-Chief they would be dismissed as the ravings of a man utterly out of touch with reality.

Former CIC or not, those are indeed the ravings of a lunatic out of touch with reality.

      Nov 30, 2016 at 11:07 pm

Carter may be “out of touch with reality” but he is very much is in touch with his old black-despising, Jew-hating real inner self.

The man has been a loon for years. The pronouncements coming out of his mouth simply remove all doubt. Definitely a goat.

It is difficult to understand how a Christian who reads and understands the Bible and God’s promises to Abraham and his seed 4000 years ago, who understands the saving grace of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice offered to each one of us and understands that this same Jesus was born a Jew in Israel 2000 years ago, is so ignorant of both the Old and the New Testaments. Mr. Carter has taught Sunday school for many, many years. I wonder where he gets his material? It puzzles me. Surely He is either an antisemite by choice, thus denying the Scriptures, denying historical facts, denying archaeological findings, enormous amounts of documents by contemporary historians and writers who were not Jewish or he is more concerned about establishing “his legacy of peace in the ME ( a la Obama) and he sees his days are short. How this man has praised criminal dictators and terrorists around the entire world for so many years makes his “good deeds” with Habitat for Humanity a very imbalanced legacy. Third option, he sold out. See this article: http://observer.com/2016/11/jimmy-carters-animus-for-israel/

The error ,folly and foolishness of Jimmy Carter must know no limits. Even of idea of some people,as Carter, of dividing Jerusalem as well as other parts of the State of Israel between the Jewish people of the Muslim/ Arabs is nothing but folly. To engage the madness of such “talks” is a hoax and a farce .This is because in the so called “negotiations” between the heads of the Jewish nation of Israel and the leaders of the “Palestinians” the Muslim /Arabs the “Palestinian” leaders will speak the truth only when in happens to fit their agenda. The rest of the time the will be speaking half-truths and outright lies. For their goal is to obtain all of the land of the State of Israel ,.Even in it takes much time and it means getting the land piece by piece. So those “peace talks” are a hoax. For the “Palestinian ‘leaders are employing what is the Islamic doctrine of Taqiyya . Which is the Islamic dogma that lying and deception are good things to do as long as it’s done for the cause of the advancement of Islam. The insidious scheme is part of the stealth jihad .Otherwise known as “Islamic Gradualism.” This sly and something subtle strategy of disingenuous speech, lying deception of achieving the goal of all the land of Israel a war ploy that will be a disaster if the heads of the State of Israel are foolish enough to agree to divide the land of Israel with Muslim /Arabs ,the “Palestinians.” For if such a “peace dialogue” results in a divided land, the outcome will literally be murder. For “Palestinian” leader will allow the jihadists use that land as a base to launch murderous rocked attacks in to Israel. As for example, Hamas of Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Such false hopes for peace which are based on the foundation of lies are nothing new when it comes to Israel . For example, the Bible in Psalm 55:20, 21. Reads “Such men do violence to those at peace with them and break their promised word; their speech is smoother the butter but their thoughts are of war.” [N.E.B.]

It’s too late. There can never be a two-state solution when one side wants the extermination of the other and there are no practical discrete lines of demarcation remaining. It’s just a cynical illusion used by politicians and terrorists for their own ends.

In the past I also thought it was the only option for peace .. a Palestinian state. Now I know that is not possible, I know the Muslims who have come to my city … there will never be peace. A Palestinian state would be a puppet in the hands of Hamas which could be financed to attack Israel. Utopianly a state for Muslims would be ideal … but Islam … will always want the destruction and conquest of Israel. I understand now, I still hate the images of the Israeli tanks, the excavators … but I do not see this as a war of good and bad. What is happening with Israel now happens in Europe, Islam is always the same. Take care of American friends,we Europeans are fucked, we have millions of Moroccans, Algerians, Turks, pakis …living on social aids and wanting to destroy us.They respect absolutely nothing.

No doubt about it, dear Wellington. Obama and Carter are competing for the medal America’s worst president ever. Carter is leading for the moment.

As a matter of fact the Palis don’t want a state of their own. They simply want to destroy Israel as the Nazis wanted to destroy all of Jewry for the best of mankind of course. Hamas wants to be part of the umma, the idea of a national state isn’t appealing to them, they simply want a totalitarian umma.

Carter obviously wants to ignore the facts about Islam.

Jimmy Carter actually has the gall to say that he’s “a Christian.” the only kind of “Christian ” that this guy Carter is ,is a bogus “Christian.” Of the many examples the show this is just the one alone in the Jimmy Carter would if he could “divide the land of the State of Israel.” To a real Christian that would be folly. For a genuine Christian would take seriously the teachings of Jesus. For Jesus taught “If a kingdom be divided against itself , that kingdom cannot stand.” Mark 3:24. [K.J.V.]

On the other hand, I assert that between 2017 to 2018 Islam and Muslims will suffer the worst DEBACLES since the fall of the Ottoman Empire all over the none Muslim world especially in the Americas and Europe

The Writing is on the Wall but Muslims are too STUPID and Illiterate to either read it or understand it

Carter sold his soul to the highest bidder: Saudi Arabia & Islam. His ‘legacy’ will be as abysmal as that of Barack H Obama

The only reason WHY Arabs & Muslims want Israel destroyed has nothing to do with land or history but everything to do with the FACT that this little parcel of land with 6 million Jews, Out produces & Out Performs all of Ummat Muhammad of 1,500,000,000 in every possible way and Israel is a witness to their total failures and this they cannot tolerate!
