Meanwhile, reports of the Islamic State’s imminent demise in Iraq and Syria may be premature. The U.S. presidential election is over, aside from attempts to steal it, and so now the forces arrayed against the Islamic State can safely go back to losing without significant loss to Obama and co. of what really matters to them: political capital.

When the Syrian army, backed by relentless Russian airstrikes, beat back Islamic State from the ancient city of Palmyra early this year, it marked the first in a string of significant defeats against the extremist group in the country.
But that victory appeared to have been short-lived. On Sunday, almost nine months after the jihadists’ retreat, Islamic State overran Palmyra once more, the group and activists said. The advance raises questions about recent pronouncements of the group’s weakness — as well as Damascus’ ability to hold territories for which it has paid heavily in men and materiel.
It also suggests a doubling down on Syria by Islamic State and a return to the time before it proclaimed its “caliphate” in 2014. It had been all but defeated in Iraq then, but regrouped around the Syrian-Iraqi border before launching a blitz offensive that claimed a large swath of Iraqi and Syrian territory.
A statement released by Islamic State on social media Sunday said the “soldiers of the caliphate had secured their control over all of Palmyra city… after three days of violent clashes.”
It also issued a series of images showing its fighters with tanks, and pickups mounted with heavy guns, attacking what it said was the Jazal oil fields, northwest of Palmyra….

You read the Koran scripture, this is part of the true belief of Muslims and how long do you think it would take for a strict Muslim would begin acting on their beliefs. The democrat party does not care because these people will vote for the democrat party once they are made citizens no matter how many people are killed once they get a foothold in a country. And they call us Islamophobic. We have no business taking in Muslim Refugees to America. There are plenty of Arab countries that refuse to take refugees and they are the only ones who should be. We should be taking Hindus, Buddhists, Christians and Yasidis only because they are no threat to a democracy like ours where Muslims do not believe in democratic forms of government.

It’s sad that when they are finally defeated militarily, the Far-left elites will claim victory, as if this stupid war was well-fought and not their fault. I have no doubt of this.
Not only do I guarantee this has dragged on far too long (since ISIS is holding territory its more vulnerable than guerrillas) but losing territory liberated for months is totally unacceptable.

They would not have been able to recapture Palmyra if Obama had not stopped the US forces attacking their divisions as they crossed the desert.
According to some reports their attack columns presented perfect targets, easily visible and the US forces could have wiped them out but Obama held his forces off.
Jan 20th cannot come too soon for the rest of the world.

Remember when they used to show the afghans riding their horses (or donkeys) and playing polo with an animal’s severed head…back before moslims were everywhere like they are now? And that was a foreign country and it was *islam*…a different **culture**.
Some commentators made jokes about it, as though it could be a *normal* thing to do, but they just hadn’t thought of it. About severed heads. Animals sure, but even animals have feelings. But that was another *culture* in a foreign country, so who was anyone to make moral judgments?.
Then they grow in strength and power and begin to show the world just how bad, how evil, they really are. And hardly a peep, and when there are peeps, it’s “that’s not really islam.”
But there is still no real moral outrage from those who had no moral outrage when they were shown playing polo with severed animal heads.
