Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

“It is now time for the Islamic conquests”: Iran threatens Bahrain, Yemen

Dec 18, 2016 5:11 pm By Robert Spencer

Paid for by Barack Hussein Obama.

“Iran threatens Bahrain, Yemen with ‘Islamic conquest’ like Aleppo,” Middle East Monitor, December 17, 2016:

A senior Iranian military commander has threatened further wars of conquest after describing the recent collapse of the Syrian opposition in Aleppo as an “Islamic conquest”, as footage has appeared showing Syrian refugees attempting to evacuate the ravaged city being shot at by Iran-backed Shia jihadists.

In comments to local Iranian media, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) General Hossein Salami said: “It is now time for the Islamic conquests. After the liberation of Aleppo, Bahrain’s hopes will be realised and Yemen will be happy with the defeat of the enemies of Islam.”

The IRGC commander also said that “the people of Mosul will taste the taste of victory,” in reference to the ongoing Mosul operations.

The taste of “victory”, however, tasted of blood and terror in Aleppo as the Middle East correspondent for BuzzFeed News tweeted footage of what pro-Assad regime Iranian proxies were doing there.

Borzou Daragahi tweeted “This is what hell on earth looks like,” as video footage from the devastated city shows “hungry, freezing men, women and children” who are trying to evacuate Aleppo are fired upon by the Shia jihadists….

If Obama is not considered a TRAITOR after all he has done and the Iran deal, we have something very sinister in American culture that we have to get rid off now.

Lets start with media and liberals.

The West is no longer what it was, we have lost our identity. Muslims are in politics, the army, creating lobbies of pressure, creating religious political structures, infiltrated in education …. the poison is inside, we can no longer isolate ourselves from their problems. The Islamic wars have spread all over the planet, peace is nowhere possible.

It really is quite confusing as Christians in Syria were OK under Assad and life under him was quite civilised. This is why most of us could not countenance Cameron’s idea of militarily supporting Assad’s enemies aka terrorists.

Iran is supporting Assad, who has been much more secular than Bahrein or Yemen. Where is the logic in that? Or is it not really about any form of religion but about oil?

      Answers on a postcard, please.

First thing first. Many of these dictators look after themselves first and foremost, then their religion. Their religion (ROP) has immense leeway such that they could go against its ordinances to save their own skin, when required.

It is true that Assad treated other minorities (including Christians) much better than many other arab countries (many gulf states for example). This is so because, Assad did not see them as a threat like saudi/qatari backed sunni groups. In any case, most of the Syrian minorities (other than kurds) are generally unarmed (or do not have armed movements).
The ayatollah’s iran in contrast has been persecuting its minorities including Christians. This contrast is possible because, both Assad and iran needs one another. For Assad, iranian military support is necessity to retain control of what he has left in syria and perhaps regain in future that which he has lost since 2011. For iran, Assad’s syria completes a contiguous stretch of territory from iran (though iraq, syria and lebanon) to the mediterranean sea under shia control/influence. This is seen as vital counter to saudi led sunni influence in the region –
iran is more or less surrounded by sunni states with large and/or modern military forces (pakistan – with nukes, saudi, qatar/UAE/kuwait, turkey).

Isn’t internecine Muslim savagery wonderful? Note that these pious Shia don’t even consider Bahrain and Yemen to be Islamic, since most of them belong to a different sect.

… since most of them belong to a different sect.

Shia rhetoric refers to Sunnis as the “Bakri Sect” after Abu Bakr. We should adopt this usage. Presumably there are corresponding Sunni terms for the Shia heretics.

Of course, everyone beats up on Ahmadis etc.

The murderous rivalry between the Shiite and Sunnis is a huge clue to the inherent instability and hostility of Islam as a whole. This schism is also one of the few bright lights in our battle with their ideology – the seeds of self destruction are already planted.

I would think the best policy for the US, Saudi Arabia and Egypt would have the Saudis suck in the Iranians and then finance the Egyptians to fight the Iranians in Yemen and where else and the US guarantee massive fire power if the Egyptians decide to take out Saudi Arabia also since SA is nothing.
    .
The Saudis could neutralize a major problem to their regime. The Egyptians could make some good money and drain off some Jihad energy that is building up. Egypt could also be promised to be supported to provide stabilizing forces to Libya , while cutting off oil financed terrorism and reviving and modifying the old UAR. Once Libya is stabilized then the Egyptians/Libyans could be encouraged to stabilize Syria with Russia’s involvements. I would be willing to bet the majority of Libyans would love to return to Kaddafi style government and prosperity.
    .
Of course SA would have to be persuaded to QUIT sponsoring Terrorism and Russia would have to insure that Iran never obtains nukes. Assad should also be guaranteed to remain in power. The US should be able to become energy independent once again soon and China supposedly is going to start Fracking and most likely develop the China Sea oil fields, resulting in a decreased demand for ME oil.
    .
Trump as President working with Putin and the Saudis understanding the new no-nonsense foreign policy of the combined USA/Russian block would be glad to play or be deposed.
    .
There is too much wealth on this rock to continue to support perpetual war for the enrichment of a few.
    .
    No MORE Blood for Oil!

The Middle East Monitor is published in Iran itself, as well a other nations in the region, and is here quoting a well-known figure who was speaking to local Iranian media, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps General Hossein Salami.

If this isn’t Islamic enough for him, how about Al Arabiya?

“Iran: After Aleppo, we will intervene in Bahrain, Yemen”

      http://english.alarabiya.net/en/features/2016/12/16/Iran-s-Revolutionary-Guard-After-Aleppo-we-will-intervene-in-Bahrain-and-Yemen.html

And Al Jazeera reported on Iran’s involvement in Yemen back in 2015.

The idea that this was somehow made up by Robert Spencer is ridiculous. Why are Muslims so reality-challenged? It must be that rejection of reason.

And muhammed’s claim that the Islamic State is actually “Jewish” is just as ludicrous. In fact, Iran is fighting the Sunni Islamic State on the *exact* same basis that it is threatening Bahrain and Yemen–that they are Sunni, and not Shia. Why we should believe that they are fighting the Islamic State but would balk at Bahrain and Yemen makes no sense.

Really, the irrationality of these Taqiyya artists is just tedious.
