Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Kerry: “Israel can either be Jewish or democratic. It cannot be both. And it won’t ever really be at peace.”

Dec 28, 2016 12:19 pm By Robert Spencer

The Obama administration’s parting assault on Israel continues.

Kerry is actually right that Israel won’t ever really be at peace, but if he thinks that a two-state solution will bring about that peace, then he is even more delusional than he seems to be. Israel will not be at peace as long as there are believers in the Qur’an, which tells Muslims, “drive them out from where they drove you out” (2:191).

Meanwhile, Kerry’s statement about Israel not being able to be Jewish and democratic is flatly false. There are Israeli Arab Knesset members now. Non-Jews in Israel, including Muslims, enjoy more rights than non-Muslims do in majority-Muslim countries.

“Kerry: ‘Israel Can Either Be Jewish or Democratic — It Cannot Be Both,’” Grabien News, December 28, 2016:

…”The truth is that trends on the ground, violence, terrorism, settlement expansion and the seemingly endless occupation, they are combining to destroy hopes for peace on both sides and increasingly cementing any reversible — an irreversible one state reality that most people do not actually want.

Today, there are a similar number of Jews and Palestinians living between the Jordan river and the Mediterranean sea. They have a choice. They can choose to live together in one state or they can separate into two states. But here is a fundamental reality. If the choice is one state, Israel can either be Jewish or democratic. It cannot be both. And it won’t ever really be at peace.

Moreover, the Palestinians will never fully realize their vast potential in a homeland of their own with a one state solution.”

So this is what Obama promised his buddy Rashid Khalidi during their salad days.

Kerry’s speech ticks all the maximalist demands cooked up by Phakestinians over the last 50 years, including a “right of return” (or compensation in lieu) for Arabic speakers who left the West Jordan areas in 1948.

While we are about it, how about a “right of return” for Muslims and Hindus in pre-partition India? And what about Japanese settlers repatriated from Korea and Manchuria? Chinese who fled mainland China as the Communists took over? The list of “right of return” candidates wronged since 1945 is endless, but only the West Jordanians have been sitting on their behinds (and been denied citizenship by their “Arab brethren”) for FOUR generations.

BTW the original version of this proposal is most likely what was presented as a keynote address by Obama speech at the send-off party for Khalidi. This is the hyper-secret speech that the LA Times has been sitting on since 2007. Not “fit to print,” you understand, wouldn’t do to get the hoi polloi worried.

The Arabs can first compensate the Jews who were expelled from Arab lands, and that money can be recirculated to the exiled Palestinians, and then its a wash. Right of return is code for eliminating Israel. It is a nonstarter.

Then again, in theory, a mutual right of return including return of choice real estate in Cairo, Baghdad etc. would not be such a bad deal.

Problem is, of course, that a deal is only worth as much as the person one is dealing with.

That Kerry can peddle these falsehoods is an obliqy to his source and sight… and lack thereof.
He has the venality of a false utopian- the fault is split between the parties, but never in any realistic measure. The arabs, the muslims have no ability to accept any Jewish sovereignty of any kind anywhere: they claim authority religiously and politically. This is the reality. That the wish to create a jew free state is just one endgame for them. The other is to destroy any Jewish state over Israel. For Kerry to say ‘THEY’ can choose to live in one state, it most ceratinly can be Jewish and democratic. But, if it is arab, or more specifically muslim, then it can never ever be democratic as such. The minority will be forced unto the tyranny of Islam, and there are no examples in the world to contradict this. The Jewish state is democratic but Kerry and the utopians want to create a terror state equal to the democratic Jewish state. That terror state, cannot abide by a Jewish state- that is why there can’t be a Jewish state- not because being democratic precludes the Jewish State, but because the Muslim, arab state does.

    What a shame!

O and Kerry spin words to give an impression of righteousness but leave out the substance. How many consumers of headlines will see through their betrayal?

The world is sorely in need of truth to be spoken in more places and more clearly.

“most people do not want”– This only means there are more Arabs than Israelis in the world, more Muslims than Jews. That does not make it right.

Also, my hunch is that Muslims in Israel enjoy more rights than Muslims in Muslim majority countries as well, especially if those Muslims are female.

Muslims in Israel for sure have a longer life expectancy than in most Muslim countries. Beyond that, they in principal have all the freedoms Jews have, but in practice there remains some inequities. Like other democracies, Israel is not perfect, but it is improving in the area of civil rights and there are many Israeli’s working toward a more just society for all.

There are many opportunities for Muslims in education, industry, government service, etc., but still some ways to go, as I said, to get to true equality. I am a supporter of Israel, but we need to face up to facts.

John Kerry thinks simplistic. Caroline Glick already presented an annexationplan. Kerry thinks in terms of Israel either ceding all occupied territories or annexation of all. In that scenario the number of Arabs en Israeli’s are almost a match and therefore it will be suicide for Israel to then give the same democratic rights to all. But partly annexation and partly withdrawal probably can be worked out by well informed intelligent minds, who also guarantee a substantial Jewish majority AND safe borders.

Israel could annex the West Bank, and of course leave Gaza to it’s own devices, as a sort of true Palestina. Because around Gaza it was that the Philistines, after whom Palestina is named, lived.

Or Israel could annex only the strategic parts of the West Bank and cede the strategically important parts of the Westbank en perhaps even Israel itself (parts which are heavily populated by Israeli Arabs). And give all residents in the annexed territory full Israeli citizenship.

In that situation there WILL be still an Israeli majority. When we look at the demographics it seems that the Haredi Jews are growing very very fast, and that also the average Jewish Israeli’s grow with quite good numbers, 2 1/2 child per couple or so.

In contrast, like everywhere in the world Palestinian birthrate is diminishing and in total they seem destined to grow less, not more than Israeli’s. The fear that the Palestinians would “outbreed” the Israeli’s is subsiding. That is reckoning without Gaza, which Israel should leave alone. Palestinian hopes of outnumbering Israeli’s will then have to be given up.

    • Demsci says

  8. Demsci says

    Dec 28, 2016 at 1:26 pm

Of course one can speculate what would happen if Democratic Nations finally come to realize that it is their right to defend their Democratic ideology and system.

And when they decide that they can curb total freedom of religion, in case one religion touts distinctly anti-democratic tenets, in holy books and by distinguished clerics and leaders.

And when facts and statistics do show that hundreds of millions of it’s followers support a dictatorial interpretation and practice of those tenets in a profoundly anti-democratic and hostile way.

In that case Israeli’s could finally start with at least giving Muslims choices, as it should be argued, I think, that someone ‘s religion is a choice, not an accident of birth, like skincolor is.

And the choices Israeli’s can demand from especially Muslims, thereby in effect discriminating against them, can be about loyalty to the democratic system and state, over all other loyalties, such as loyalties to co-religionists of enemy nations/ groups.

Lying by Muslims might be rampant about this, but at the same time breaking of loyalty-oaths by them, after monitoring well and after repeated warnings, can and should result in deportation, and if that is impossible, perhaps relocation within the state. This has to be experimented with.

A Democratic Israel COULD develop policies in this direction. And so could all Democratic Nations. If one gives the example, others could follow suit.

The elephant in the room, never once mentioned by Kerry, is Islam! He couched his fairy-tale two-state solution as an Arab-Israeli solution, making the Israelis sound unreasonable and implying the “Palestinians” are desirous of a two-state solution. Once anyone gets into a discussion of Islam and what it preaches about Jews, territory that has previously been Islamic territory (or perceived as such), what the MB terrorist organization, Hamas, teaches the Palestinian children about Jews in school and on T.V., – and the whole two-state fairy-tale falls apart!

Kerry can go eat a dick – he’s an empty-headed buffoon who’s way over his depth in 2 cms of water, let alone international politics. Israel can be *both* – a democratic state with a Jewish background/culture – as it is today. Kerry’s assertion is a by-product of the push for “diversity”, whose dogma includes the implied belief that if a specific group (sex, race, religion, sexual orientation) gets a dominant position in society they will “oppress” the other groups.

Of course, Kerry didn’t give any explanation of how or why Israel isn’t democratic, or why being democratic is mutually exclusive with being Jewish, just that it can’t be done. And Linux fans will agree on what the best distro is before I take anything from Kerry without solid evidence to back it.

About that UN resolution 2334 that Obama backs, or at least failed to veto, which calls for the dividing of the State of Israel in to a “two state solution.” Which in reality is not a real or genuine at all . Thus John Kerry a fool. For even of idea of some people of dividing Jerusalem as well as other parts of the State of Israel between the Jewish people of the Muslim/ Arabs is nothing but folly. To engage the madness of such “talks” is a hoax and a farce .This is because in the so called “negotiations” between the heads of the Jewish nation of Israel and the leaders of the “Palestinians” the Muslim /Arabs the “Palestinian” leaders will speak the truth only when in happens to fit their agenda. The rest of the time the will be speaking half-truths and outright lies. For their goal is to obtain all of the land of the State of Israel ,.Even in it takes much time and it means getting the land piece by piece. So those “peace talks” are a hoax. For the “Palestinian” leaders are employing what is the Islamic doctrine of Taqiyya . Which is the Islamic dogma that lying and deception are good things to do as long as it’s done for the cause of the advancement of Islam. The insidious scheme is part of the stealth jihad .Otherwise known as “Islamic Gradualism.” This sly and something subtle strategy of disingenuous speech, lying deception of achieving the goal of all the land of Israel a war ploy that will be a disaster if the heads of the State of Israel are foolish enough to agree to divide the land of Israel with Muslim /Arabs ,the “Palestinians.” For if such a “peace dialogue” results in a divided land, the outcome will literally be murder. For “Palestinian” leader will allow the jihadists use that land as a base to launch murderous rocked attacks in to Israel. As for example, Hamas of Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Such false hopes for peace which are based on the foundation of lies are nothing new when it comes to Israel . For example, the Bible in Psalm 55:20, 21. Reads “Such men do violence to those at peace with them and break their promised word; their speech is smoother the butter but their thoughts are of war.” [N.E.B.]

Judaism is based on the Golden Rule. Islam is based on the ethics of the mob. Only the Ummah should receive deference. Kafir should be humiliated.

Let’s not be prejudiced. As individuals, Palestinians have the same potential as any other human being. Unfortunately, what Kerry fails to recognize is that their potential will not be realized by creating another corrupt, despotic, jihadi state.

  24. Dov Berrol says

    Dec 28, 2016 at 5:14 pm

If there was a true “Palestinian” nation, why did they never want an independent national state before? After the French Revolution in 1789, many nations through off the yoke of a monarchy and established their own country. The Land of Israel was under the control of the Ottoman Muslim Empire since the early 1500’s – why didn’t so called “Palestinians” demand a country of their own from the Ottoman Turks? In the 1800’s, many nations threw off the yolk of the Ottoman Empire: Greece, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria. Why didn’t the Palestinians do the same? Following WWI, many national ethnic groups were offered territory for self-government, including Poland. The Arabs of Palestine were given Jordan in 1922. Why was that not sufficient to address their national needs? The Palestine Partition Plan of 1947 gave the Muslims of Palestine territory for a State of their own again. Why was that not sufficient to address their national needs? From 1949 to 1967, the Muslim nation of Jordan controlled the so-called West Bank and the Old City of Jerusalem. Why didn’t the Muslim Jordanians give their Muslim brothers in Palestine this territory for their state?

The answer is: there is no unique Palestinian Nation distinct from all the Muslim Arabs of Syria and Jordan and Lebanon. It is a fiction created to continue the Muslim Jihad against the Jewish infidel who needs to be subdued and controlled by Muslims according to the Quran.

It’s shocking that a supposedly smart American leader has never taken a cold hard look at the cause for the conflict between Muslims and Jews in the Middle East. He is a naive victim of Muslim deceit and Israel can’t depend on guys like this to offer good advice on how to solve that conflict. So Senator Kerry, this Zionist says to you “thanks, but no thanks.”

“Israel can either be Jewish or Democratic. It cannot be both.”

There are so many problems with that statement. Is it really true that that is a choice facing Israel? Should China be either Chinese or Democratic? Should Japan either be Japanese or democratic? Should Nigeria either be African or democratic? It seems to be foolish and a false choice.

Are those two characteristics of a state, being Jewish and being democratic, contradictory? Does Kerry mean that a Jewish state cannot be democratic or a democratic state cannot be Jewish? Can’t Israel be both Jewish and democratic?

I don’t believe Kerry meant what he said. He is using a word, or a code word, for something else. I believe what he meant to say was that Israel cannot be a Jewish state and a multicultural country. (I know Israel is comprised of several ethnicities, but it adheres to its Jewish identity.) He has replaced multicultural with democratic, and they are not the same. But democratic sounds better, or is more acceptable than multicultural. After all, who could be against democracy.

In essence, Kerry and Obama don’t want a Jewish state to exist because it is by definition contrary or in contradiction to their instrument of multiculturalism, which they know will result in the Jews becoming a minority and eventually subsumed or driven out by the Arabs. Israel, in their view, has no right to exist as a Jewish state because it is a roadblock to satisfying the desires of the larger hostile Arab population.

With multiculturalism implanted, Israel would no longer be a Jewish state, only a state with many different factions, constantly fighting each other, and with the final resolution of one dominant group, most likely non-Jewish. Then it would be an undemocratic Arab or Moslem state.

There are plenty of undemocratic, brutal states in existence. Why aren’t Kerry and Obama focusing their energy on them? Because it’s not democracy they’re championing. It’s something else.

That’s how I read it. That if Israel were to assert sovereignty over all of Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, whilst allowing the current population of Mohammedans to remain in situ, they would be outvoted by those Mohammedans, if they gave them citizenship.

The thing is: *every* country that is currently majority-Infidel but has historically acquired/ been infested with – or has foolishly imported, in recent times – a large colony of Mohammedans, is going to have to face facts. Got Muslims? Got Jihad.

If you don’t want Jihad you shouldn’t have and admit Mohammedans inside the gates: so … out they must go, back to the lands already ruined by Islam. Whether they want to go or not, and whether those blighted-by-Islam lands want to take them, or not.

People forget that the situation of INDIA is not unlike that of Israel. *Both* ended up as a majority-Infidel state on *part* of their historic ancestral lands, with the rest seized (Pakistan, Bangladesh) or aggressively claimed without being completely controlled (the “Palestinian Authority”) by Mohammedans. In the areas dominated by the Mohammedans the non-Muslim population is under siege ; in the ‘rump’ or ‘core’ state – India, Israel – a lot of mohammedans remain, are treated pretty decently all things considered, and expand aggressively, causing no end of trouble.

If, at Partition, both India and Israel had had a *complete” separation of populations – if ALL mohammedans had left what would become todays’ India, and ALL infidels had left ‘Pakistan’ for India, and if ALL Mohammedans had left what would become 1948-1967 Israel – that would have been better for India, and for Israel.

And again, if after 1967 Israel had unapologetically asserted and enforced their sovereignty, in the first few days or weeks after the liberation, over Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem, and evicted all the Mohammedans from those territories (whilst encouraging and permitting Christians and Druze to remain), that would have been that…

It’s a pity that they (Israel) didn’t kick the damn waqf off the Temple Mount the very day they liberated it, and shut down the mosque/s (indeed, razing the mosques would have been *my* preference, but the Israelis tend to be very history-minded and such an action would have gone against the grain), and make it 100 percent plain that from that day onward the Jewish state would decide exactly who visited Judaism’s holiest site and when and on what terms.

If the Israelis decide they need to turf out all the Mohammedans from Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem… and for that matter, from the rest of Israel – it would be, in my eyes, an act of elementary self-preservation: the removal of a deadly Fifth Column. And it is no more than many, many other Infidel nations, both first-world and third-world, free or semi-free or unfree, are going to have to do, if they want to survive the 21st century *as* infidel nations.

Just look at Gaza if you want to see how a two-state solution would look; only much larger, with the the enemy holding the high ground, and indefensible borders for Israel.

    No more land give-backs!!!

As a matter of fact, let’s solve the problem Worldwide. Worldwide criminalization of Islam. So if you want to walk the Earth ANYWHERE, you must apostatize or face the death penalty.

Islam is not a religion. It’s a criminal enterprise which seeks our extermination. We need not tolerate it or accommodate it. Are we stupid? We must destroy it. NOW!!!

Kerry: “Israel can either be Jewish or democratic. It cannot be both. And it won’t ever really be at peace.”
    ……………………………

How grotesque–first, Israel is *already* democratic. And Kerry’s apparent belief that Israel could continue to be democratic if overrun by ravening Mohammedans is just ludicrous. Can he explain why none of the Muslim countries surrounding Israel are democracies? Of course he can’t. Moron.

Note the treacherous term “contiguous” which Kerry flubbed at one point.

There is an intentional trap here: although Kerry talks at some length about how Israeli settlements would disrupt contiguity WITHIN Judea and Samaria, the real aim is to give the Phakestinians a “contiguous” area uniting Judea and Samaria with Gaza, thus splitting Israel in two.

More generally, nobody seriously claims that the Phakestinians would regard a “peace settlement” as anything other than a transitional stage in the long-term quest to annihilate Israel and its people.

BTW the Phakestinians’ dreamed-of annihilation of Israel would NOT exampt Israeli Arabs.

A reality check from Arieh Eldad, of Israel.

Eldad, like some others – e g the astute scholar Mordechai Kedar – understands what Islam is all about.

He therefore understands that the Muslim war on Israel is a Jihad.

Here’s what he just said (note: he uses the term “radical Islam”, but he should just have said, “Islam”).

    http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/222416

“…the war between Jews and Muslims in the Land of Israel. It is not a territorial conflict. This is a civilizational conflict, or rather a war between civilization and barbarism.”

    Precisely.

And that applies not only to Israel, but to *every* other country on planet earth that Muslims are either attacking outright, or attempting to destroy from within.

The Ummah has been waging war on *all* non-Muslim societies – *all* non-Muslim humans – for 14 centuries.

The assault upon the Jewish state of Israel, which Muslims hate with a special hatred for the same reason as they hate India and Spain – because in Israel, and Spain, and India, the despised Infidels shook off the Mohammedan yoke and regained sovereignty over part of ancestral Infidel lands, thus forcing the Ummah to disgorge a part of its ill-gotten gains – is part of that neverending jihad, the attempt to achieve Total World Domination.

Here’s another Israeli who, like Arieh Eldad, understands perfectly what is going on, and why the so-called two-state solution is no solution at all.

    http://israelisoldiersmother.blogspot.com.au/2012/02/things-you-dont-want-your-kids-to-know.html

She explains the Hebrew, Jewish concept of a certain type of war that is an “obligatory war”, milhemeth mitzvah. And that her son Shmuel floored her when he stated that “”every day here is a milhemet mitzvah,”

And then she writes (and it is powerful stuff, and it applies far, far beyond Israel, to *all* infidel lands currently assailed by the Jihad): “And before I could adequately process that, he told me what I’ve always known, and something I wish my children didn’t, “they want to destroy us completely – so every day is a milhemet mitzvah,” he concluded.

“An obligatory war is one that is fought because there is no choice – because if you don’t fight, your enemies will.

“The Arabs (sic: she should have written, “the Muslims”, because it is not only Arab Muslims but Turkish and Persian Muslims who hate Israel and will prosecute Jihad against her – dda) will shoot rockets at our cities, sneak into our homes and murder our babies.

“They will fight without honor, without bravery, and sneak off to murder what and when they can.

“An obligatory war is fought against the Samir Kuntars of the world, the Hassan Nassrallahs, and yes, even the ones who claim to be moderate in English, while calling for our destruction in Arabic.

“These are the ones who would kill a father in front of his little girl, and then murder her as well with their bare hands, or murder a three-month-old baby girl, or stab a three-year-old in the heart.

“An obligatory war is one that is fought against an enemy that does not want peace and will not let you live in peace, no matter what you do, no matter what you give. “…” END QUOTE.

    To repeat:

“An obligatory war is one that is fought against an enemy that does not want peace and will not let you live in peace, no matter what you do, no matter what you give. “…

Paula heard exactly the same warning from ex-Muslim Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who attended a very significant little meeting in Israel, and explained, very clearly and plainly, to every Jew who was there, exactly why the whole peace-process thing, as currently and lately engaged in, is a total waste of time, a snare and a delusion. Because there is *nothing* – short of total, abject surrender and a return to the oppressed misery of near-slave dhimmi status under ruthless and capricious mohammedan overlords – that will satisfy the Muslims. “Even if you give them Jerusalem, there will be no peace” – *that* is what Ayaan Hirsi Ali said, after having done her best to explain the all-or-nothing victor-vanquished mindset of Islam.

And here’s *another* Israeli Jew who *gets* what is going on. Naomi Ragen. And again, what she has to say is applicable not only to Israel but to *everyone* else who is currently attempting to make nice with Msulims, appease the Muslims, find some way to satisfy the Muslims so that Muslim men – and women, and boys, and girls – will not do things like blowing up nightclubs, or taking primary-school kids hostage and raping and tormenting and killing them for fun, or mowing down crowds of infidels on trains, or at festivals, or christmas markets, or church, or a concert, with guns or bombs or a heavy vehicle driven straight at and over living human bodies, with malevolent intent .

As she says – “You can *never* be nice *enough* to the Muslims. They want your country, your religion, and your life”.

    http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/18024

“…Listen to what I’m going to tell you now.

“And trust me, as an American-born Israeli who has lived with Muslim terror for fifty years, it’s the truth:

“They hate you not because of how you treat them, but because you exist and you don’t believe in their religion, or their wondrous prophet.

“Because you treat women and homosexuals as human beings.

“Because you won’t agree that they take over your country and your lives, and submit to their rules.

“So when you die, they will tell you it’s all your fault. Because you made them mad.

“You made them really, really mad, so whatever horrors they are at this very moment busily planning to inflict on you (because that’s the only thing they are good at; the only thing they believe in), you deserve them. It is inevitable and you should have seen it coming….”.

“…I feel sorry for you America, France, Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain.

“So many more of you are going to die trying to be “nice” to the Muslims.

“Trying to make life good for them, until you realize they hate you and want you dead no matter what you do for them.

You and your wife and your kids. Dead or sold into slavery, or raped or educated to be killers. Dead or willing to be part of their new world order, the great Caliphate.

“And without a radical change in thinking by the West, they are going to succeed. There is a slim window of opportunity to defeat them. But it would take extreme guts, and extreme measures, which, frankly, I don’t know if you’re capable of….”.

“Israel can either be Jewish or democratic. It cannot be both.”

I argued the same thing way back in 1982. Israel’s Arab population was rapidly growing and could not be trusted so separation had to be in some way effected or Israeli democracy could not work.

Still think this is true. SOME Israeli arabs are good and loyal citizens but too many of the Muslims aren’t. My solution isn’t to give the “palestinians” their own state. It is to expand Israel’s borders to their post-war maximums, Sinai and all, and force all the Muslim arabs out (Christian Arabs are fine). That’s what the Muslim arabs did to the Jews, so let them take their own.

John Kerry is himself Jewish. His grandparents were Astro-Hungarian Jews who immigrated to the US and converted to Catholicism. Their names were Fritz and Ida Kohn but they changed it by dropping a pencil on a map where it landed on County Kerry in Ireland.

I think John Kerry has some sort of psychological problem with being Jewish and tries to punish Jews with his actions vis a’ vis Israel.

I am not Jewish but if I were, I would proudly claim to be. Throughout history Jews have made enormous contributions to science, literature, medicine, etc. etc. etc. I dare say more than any other ethnic group. It is a proud heritage, yet John Kerry is ashamed of it. I wonder why.
