The establishment propaganda media keeps lying, and this is a big one. My latest in PJ Media:
Mohammed Amer is a Muslim comedian who traffics liberally in claims that Muslims are being unfairly victimized in post-9/11 America. Operating as if such a false media narrative is still simply accepted as truth in 2016, Amer’s website proclaims:
With parents from Palestine, born in Kuwait, and raised in Houston, Texas, his entire life provides fodder for hilarious — and at times heartbreaking — personal stories.
Well, Amer just got what he assumed would be a splendid opportunity to further his career of playing victim, but it didn’t turn out that way. Amer boarded a plane last week, and to his shock, found Eric Trump, Donald’s son, next to him.
Instead of the fireworks Amer expected — presumably due to Amer having believed the two years of outrageously false media coverage of the Trump campaign — Amer received a lesson in establishment media distortion and lies. Though unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that Amer realizes yet just how badly he had been misled all these years.
A Huffington Post article on the Trump/Amer encounter gives us a glimpse of what Flying While Trump must be like today: “[T]he woman behind them was clearly upset” that Eric Trump was on the flight. She said to Amer: “I wouldn’t even sit next to him if I were you.”
But Amer says his own reaction was different: “Thank you, God.”
Amer said to Eric:
You don’t even know how fantastic this is for me. I’m a Muslim named Mohammed who happens to be a stand-up comedian, and I’m sitting next to you. Its perfect.
Apparently, Amer thought he would have an excellent opportunity to school young Eric in the Leftist, mainstream media vision of all that is moral and good, and he immediately set out to try. The Huffington Post recounts:
Then, in the politest way he could, Amer let him know something …
“I was like, ‘Yo, and I’m not doing that s–t. I’m not going to get an ID, a Muslim ID and all this crap. I’m not doing that. F–k that,’” Amer explained.
That was polite? Anyway, Mohammed Amer quickly learned from Eric that the establishment propaganda hysteria over this supposed “Muslim registry” had no basis in fact:
Amer said that Eric told him nothing of the sort would happen. “He goes, ‘Come on, man you really think we’re going to do that? We’re not doing that.’ That’s what he said. “We’re not doing that.” I was like, “OK, fantastic.”
True to form, the Huffington Post allowed this exposure of a falsehood having been used to distort Donald Trump’s actual position to pass by without further comment. And if, at that point, a glimmer of skepticism had flashed across Amer’s mind regarding the propaganda he had been fed, it was not recorded in the article, either.
The Huffington Post article did include this:
As Amer and Eric got to talking, the comedian told him that he had toured with Dave Chappelle. When Eric heard that, he had a request: “Tell him to take it easy on [my dad].” To which Amer responded, “That’s not gonna happen. We are not going to take it easy. It’s not our job to take it easy on you guys.”
Of course, the vast majority of entertainers think it is their job to take it easy on Democrats, socialists, and the like.
Amer — and the mainstream media he was relying upon – had believed, and had been spreading as truth, the claim that Donald Trump intends to force all Muslims to register with the government.
Perhaps Amer learned this propaganda from NBC News, which tweeted out a partial quotation from Trump’s chief of staff Reince Priebus. Outrageously, the tweet trimmed out the information that proved Priebus had actually given the precise opposite response.
Priebus actually said:
Look, I’m not going to rule out anything. But, we are not going to have a registry based on religion.
Well, NBC News only reported the first sentence.
This incident was telling. Perhaps the most history-changing event of the 2016 presidential campaign has been the exposure of proof that the mainstream media is not in any sense a reliable news source. We are being lied to, on a massive scale, by media outlets that are working behind the scenes to assist the propaganda efforts of the Left.
We now know that George Soros funded that report on “Islamophobia” on Twitter, and gave $200,000 to the Center for American Progress to produce a defamatory report on alleged “Islamophobes.”
We know that Soros also spent $600,000 for favorable coverage of the Muslim migrant inundation; bought favorable coverage of the Iran deal; and bought “Islamophobia” propaganda right after the San Bernardino jihad massacre….

Unless Amer has met Eric Trump once more, this meeting took place on an airliner last week. It was an excellent display of what the English language can be (Eric Trump) and the depths to which the language has sunk as used by funny boy, who is not funny, just crass, Mohammed Amer.

That idiot woman would rather sit beside a Muslim who’s ideology is fraught with death than beside Eric Trump. That’s just crazy.
Custos Custodum says
The woman “refusing to sit next to Eric Trump” is Amer’s invention.
Similarly, as a Muslim in show business meeting an influential infidel, Amer likely spoke politely and deferentially but later jazzed up his account of the brief chat with Eric Trump.
Carolyne says
IMO the entire thing is someone’s invention because Erik and all the Trumps ae under Secret Service protection..
Angemon says
I can imagine the reaction if Eric Trump replied with a similar tone and language -we’d be reading about how the “foul-mouthed”, “islamophobic” son of Trump “attacked” a muslim in an airplane…

So true!

That’s funny, didn’t the mayor of NYC keep a registery of illegals for his sanctuary city, one that he would not release.?
Somehow this flight did not happen by accident, which should be a concern, no matter, this is strange in itself….and since he is part of the !st family he needs protection. That just my opinion, but nice that Amer..was so thrilled to have a chat…
Anne Smith says
How awful for poor Mr Trump, it must have been such a wretched bore to have to sit next to this loud mouthed pleased with himself idiot for an entire flight.
No doubt he will book with another airline next time.

For God’s sake, start pumping iron so you don’t look like such a wimp. I love The Donald and love all his wholesome family. But from my experience in Iraq, muslims only respect one thing, power. And I mean physical as well as mental power. My Iraqi Nationals under my control respected me because I was strong mentally as well as physically. And to tell you the truth, I believe it was more the physical power than anything.
Mike Trivisonno says
I brief investigation into Amer’s background would probably reveal links to violent islamic jihad. Just your typical muslim in America.
Custos Custodum says
It bears repeating that Phakestinians are despised as heterogeneous riffraff by real Arab Muslims.

The great deceit. That is the lie that Islam is the victim in western democracies. Only the leftist useful idiots support that fiction.
Western democracies make accommodations to Mohammedans that are not extended to non-believers in the Islamic world.

Where’s the distortion, Robert? Here’s Trump last year: http://www.nytimes.com/politics/first-draft/2015/11/20/donald-trump-says-hed-absolutely-require-muslims-to-register/
Custos Custodum says
The government knows exactly who is a Muslim, how observant and how politically active each individual is, where they live, etc. No need for 1930s style registration, Democrat-run internment etc.
Look up Cambridge Analytics and remind yourself that C.A. obtained its raw information without resort to coercive government powers.
SK says
But why would he say “register”? I am confused.

Derrick Abdul-Hakim has attacked Donald Trump previously. He wrote:
What about a president-elect who in the aftermath of a terrorist attack on foreign soil claims to have personally seen “thousands and thousands” of Muslims celebrating on 9/11 in Jersey City? When pressed to bear the burden of providing evidential support the president-elect changes his claim and personally attacks his critics for having the audacity to question his claim. Wouldn’t you call such a person a bigot? Wouldn’t you place that person at the front of the line of being liable for creating an unbearable environment for a minority population when emotions were raw?
http://rightlyconsidered.org/2016/12/02/assessing-responsibility-for-the-osu-attack/
He wrote this by way of apologia for Abdul Artan trying to run down and knife Infidels to death at OSU.
His only problem is that Trump, of course, was *right*:
“Trump 100% Vindicated: CBS Reports ‘Swarm’ On Rooftops Celebrating 9/11”
http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/2015/12/02/trump-100-vindicated-cbs-reports-swarms-on-roofs-celebrating-911/
But then, this Mohammedan likely has no problems with his coreligionists celebrating the murder of Infidels. Why would he?
By the way, this is probably the same Derrick Abdul-Hakim who is indoctrinating students at SF State.
Dacritic says
Why does Soros, a Jew I presume, want to help Muslims? Honest question.
Peggy says
Soros was just born into that religion but he is most likely a demon.
That movie “The Omen” may not be such a fantasy.
