This is no surprise: Islamic jihadis hate tourism. Tourism is Western, un-Islamic, and often involves drinking.

“HOLIDAY WARNING: Hundreds of jihadi cells found in tourist hotspot after ISIS massacre,” by Katie Mansfield, Express, December 2, 2016:

TUNISIAN security forces discovered 160 terror cells as the number of jihadists in the holiday destination nearly doubles.

Security forces dismantled 160 jihadist cells, according to the Interior Ministry.

Government sources said in the first ten months of this year security forces dismantled 45 per cent more terror cells than they did during the whole of 2015.

An Interior Ministry statement said the number of terrorism suspects arrested between January and October this year was 850, compared with 547 for all of 2015.

Security forces stepped up efforts to track down militants after the North African country suffered three major deadly attacks last year, including 38 holidaymakers gunned down in Sousse.

In March this year, security forces repelled an attempted ISIS takeover of the town of Ben Guerdan near the border with Libya.

Tunisia, popular with Western holidaymakers, has struggled to contain the rise of Islamic extremism.

It comes as the Government applied for the inquests into the deaths of 30 Britons killed in the Sousse attack to be kept partly private in the interests of national security.

In an application, the Government said “sensitive security material” – certain documents and statements – may be used “by terrorists as a resource to plan future atrocities similar to the terrible attack in Sousse in June 2015” if put into the public domain.

The 30 British victims were gunned down in the resort in June last year and inquests into their deaths will begin next month….

    Historically, there was an obligation for dhimmis to accept any Muslim who demands from them to stay in their home. He had the right for the best in the home of course. The only limitation was the 3 days limit for one given Muslim at one dhimmi home. The number of different Muslims wasn’t limited.

    Those were nice “tolerant” times that are quoted by the islam apologists.

    • This is puzzling. In what way were the cells “dismantled”.

      Were the members exterminated?
      Re-educated?
      Re-directed?
      Re-trained?
      Re-formed?

    • Not if the BBC is to be believed. This morning on the Today programme considerable air time was given to a Sharia “Judge” who gave us all a lecture on the wonders of the Sharia Council (they are permitted to call them Councils, not Courts).

      According to this woman (amazing, they found the only woman Sharia judge in UK to enlighten us ) the Sharia Councils are there for the protection of Muslim women and this is their main purpose.

      She refused to admit that the word of women counts for rather less than a man and avoided answering questions on that. She also stated that many Muslim marriages are not civil marriages but Sharia marriages. For those who do not understand this it means that the marriage is not legal and not recognised in UK, but is a private matter between the parties. Therefore the woman does not enjoy the rights accorded to normal British women in the official divorce courts (although she carefully didn’t say this.)

    Any idea when Syria will enjoy the pluralism and freedom which, surely, this revolution is all about?
    Ah yes – once the Jihadists win (or as the media calls them – “rebels”), the Christians will once again enjoy peace and stability as they enjoyed under Assad….

  6. So should I not go to India, because that’s where the majority of Muslims reside? Also, we should start a “ChristianityWatch.com” given that several recent killings and fires involved people who were devoted Christians. Planned Parenthood, for example, the amount of people who terrorize others in the name of their religion. It disgusts me too, people killing people in the name of Christianity. All religion should be banned. Also, we should probably start a “FurnitureCrushingWatch.com” since more people die from their own furniture than terrorism.

    Read books. Question Everything. Try searching a peer-reviewed, scholarly research database one day. You can get free access at your public library or college near you. There also free courses online in so many topics, including religion if that’s your kind of thing. Also, plenty of free open access textbooks in social sciences or anything else really. Or continue to deny the data, that’s really your only move. Otherwise, the corporate takeover of everything will continue on because you’ve all given into their dirty tricks to divide and conquer, creating imaginary divides in order to shut you up and keep you from questioning the rich and powerful. Seems like it works pretty good, given this website. Where’s “ThePointOnePercentWatch.com”? Stop giving into their propaganda and fueling their narrative and ideology, you’re all really screwing us all over. It’s the wealthy versus everyone else. UNITE, not divide.

    • Yes Jay, there are people, the world over, who are dying from inter-personal conflicts such as love triangles, political causes, family feuds, etc.

      Only one religion systematically kills under the instructions of a non-human, Allah; a non-participant in human life – and has the written scriptural instructions and the history of a “perfect man” to show that diety commands his control over the world by all means possible.

      Why in your “reading of books” did you not learn that Islam in India was so intolerant that a new nation, Pakistan, was carved out of India to stop the mayhem? And if you actually read India’s modern history you would realize that it has periodic warfare with Pakistan over Kashmir and periodic mayhem at home with its own Muslim population.

      Frankly, you write like an privileged academic with little personal experience, looking down your nose, thinking anyone on this site must be an uneducated dolt religionist, a “deplorable”. Personally, I’m Agnostic, yet quite able to have respect for those who have inherently peaceful beliefs. I also realize that erudite language is not an indicator of logical or accurate thinking. It is only a combination of available patterns copied in one’s early youth.

      Your language belies an immense ignorance.

    Tunesia’s tourism was ruined by one jihadi. The UK warns its citizens to avoid Sousse and the UK tourists are down 93%, 200 hotels have closed, and $8 camel rides for Brits are now 40 cents for Russians. And now we learn there are hundreds of terrorist cells in Tunesia?

    Why do they even bother?

    • Well, they will be paid for it, occur expenses, require staff and offices, have to hold meetings, go to lunches, etc.

    • It’s worth remembering that 100 years ago (perhaps even 50 years ago), many foreign visitors to Tunisia would as a matter of course be allowed to carry guns.

      Of course, the 30 British dhimmis murdered by uppity jihadis had long lost any sense of imperial self-confidence.

  9. This is a real shame, I was planning a holiday to Tunisia. Obviously not, I’m never stepping foot in an Islamic country ever again. Not even the so-called moderate ones.

      • It’s the Dar-al-harb for me, all the way. Beer, bacon and bitches. No compromise. I’ve noticed they’re putting ads on telling us to go to beautiful Islamic countries to appreciate the culture, featuring western women in hijabs admiring the wonderful architecture. I don’t think so. They think they can blow us up over here and then take our tourist money to look at some fucking mosque overseas. Not today thanks. Move on.

Just Imagine how much better the world would be if all the Islamists put their considerable energy into improving relationships, educating their co-religionists and building bridges with the non-Islamic world. Instead of constantly criticizing the behavior of others and plotting their deaths.

    Well we can dream can’t we?
