Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Chicago Review of Books: Milo could inspire jihadist attacks

Jan 7, 2017 11:31 am By Christine Douglass-Williams

Adam Morgan, Editor in Chief of the Chicago Review of Books…called MILO’s new book “hate speech” and claimed that it would inspire the likes of Omar Mateen and Dylann Roof.

Note that Omar Mateen was inspired, in his own words, by the Islamic State, yet Morgan claims that he could have been inspired by, of all people, Milo. Morgan also stated that “publishing Milo’s book is wrong.” There are plenty of people in the West like Morgan, who think that stifling free speech, kowtowing and simpering will work to tame or change the mindset of jihadists. It is flabbergasting how anyone in the West can tolerate the notion that it is remotely acceptable for anyone to commit acts of violence and murder over words or pictures they find offensive. Civilized people engage in debate. But violent ihadists are uncivilized, cannot be appeased, brook no discussion or compromise; their ideology is inherently supremacist. They seek full surrender of infidels to the dar al Islam (the house of Islam).

As Milo put it: “They can’t win in a free exchange of ideas, so they attempt to shut up everyone they don’t like.”

“Chicago Review of Books Editor Says MILO’s Words Could Inspire Terrorism”, by Lucas Nolan, Breitbart News, January 4, 2017:

Adam Morgan, Editor in Chief of the Chicago Review of Books, published an article in The Guardian today where he called MILO’s new book “hate speech” and claimed that it would inspire the likes of Omar Mateen and Dylann Roof.

Adam Morgan, the Editor in Chief of the Chicago Review of Books, published an article today in The Guardian explaining why the Chicago Review of Books chose to boycott Simon & Schuster, the company publishing MILO’s new book, DANGEROUS.

The title of the Guardian article reads, “Publishing Milo Yiannopoulos’ book is wrong. My magazine is fighting back.” However the URL of the article and the Facebook sharing preview reveal the title, “Simon & Schuster is rewarding alt-right hate speech. We cannot stay silent.”

This may be a simple error but it is also likely that the title calling MILO’s book “alt-right hate speech” was the original tile of the article. The Guardian may have realised their error in calling MILO “alt-right”, a political movement which MILO has repeatedly stated he is not part of, despite the media’s various attempts to paint him as a “leader” of the movement, and changed the article title.

Morgan’s article goes on to make a number of claims such as, “2016 taught us that ridiculing women, people of colour, Muslims and members of the LGBTQ community can make someone immensely popular,” and that MILO is, “not a conservative intellectual leader with a political agenda. He’s a clickbait grifter who has made a name for himself spewing hate speech.”

What Morgan considers to be “hate speech” have garnered MILO a position as Senior Editor of one of the largest political news website on the internet, media appearances on news outlets across the world, over one million Facebook likes and an army of fans that listen to him speak at his immensely successful Dangerous Faggot college tour.

Morgan then states that he “made a decision that has nothing to do with political ideology and everything to do with human rights and decency,” by refusing to review Simon & Schuster books in 2017. Exactly what human rights MILO’s book is denying people, Morgan fails to state.

Morgan then states that MILO’s book may inspire terrorist acts. “Rhetoric like [MILO’s] – which targets racial, religious and cultural minorities – invites discrimination. It arguably encourages people such as Omar Mateen and Dylann Roof to think of entire groups of people as less than human.” MILO of course gave a speech at the site of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando where he urged the gay community to fight back, to let it be known that they will never let an attack such as the one at Pulse nightclub happen again, and that they will protect themselves if the left will not.

When asked for comment on the accusation that his words will lead to terrorism MILO said, “Following Omar Mateen’s horrific crimes, I travelled to Orlando and spoke out against Islam’s hatred of homosexuals outside Pulse nightclub. The websites Dylann Roof is associated with hate me as much as anyone. Regressives like Adam Morgan can’t stand free speech or opposing viewpoints being heard.”

MILO continued: “They can’t win in a free exchange of ideas, so they attempt to shut up everyone they don’t like. I have news for Mr. Morgan, the real world isn’t an Ivy League campus where the inmates run the asylum. Thanks me and brave students devoted to free speech, most campuses won’t be for much longer either. Social justice — nice (for you) while it lasted!”…..

Adam Morgan I’ve got a book for you that is just full of hatred. It degrades all others whom are not members of its group. It gives them a chance to believe and live as they do, pay a special tax to live as second class citizens amongst them, leave or be killed; whatever the pleasure of that dominant group. They see woman as 1/2 as men to be beaten fxxkd, their book proscribes what is to be done to Jews and Christians and assigns them the most horrific features and qualities. It gives hierarchy to different groups of Mankind. If Milo was about to publish this book would you ban it??

Kay words of wisdom a song to my ears you have said it exactly as it is. These sanctimonious pompous posteriors know one cause and use only their lips and brain stem forget about their Frontal Lobes, Ears, Eyes and so forth. It’s much easier to accuse without repercussions from what pass for intellectualism today. I wonder how he can angle the Quran and Hadith into the primer for Peace multiculturalism and acceptance. How Jews and Christians are described and what to do with them Morgan has a challenge. Death to cartoonists those who make jest of Islam or Now Muslims. Kay he sounds like he was inspired by the SPLC Moore or Soros. In fact a position or money transfer for his premeditated actions wouldn’t surprise me. follow the Green!

I never read book reviews in newspapers or mags. I am not interested in other people’s opinions of books. The reviewers are usually personally biased or getting kickbacks for from the publishers for praising books.

BC, the author is Milo Yiannopoulos, and the title of his forthcoming book is “Dangerous”–probably a reference to his tongue-in-cheek describing himself as a “dangerous faggot”. I posted a clip video of his “greatest hits” so you can get a general sense of what he is all about.

I may not agree with him on everything, and his style can be a bit abrasive, but just his uncompromising stance against Jihad makes him an important figure.

And I fully support his right to speak and publish, including on matters where I many not agree with him.

Here is a “best of” clip video of his stuff:

Adam Morgan, Editor in Chief of the Chicago Review of Books, published an article in The Guardian today where he called MILO’s new book “hate speech” and claimed that it would inspire the likes of Omar Mateen and Dylann Roof.

Milo caused a lot of hurt butts on the left side of politics – no wonder he calls himself “dangerous faggot” 😉

Adam Morgan, the Editor in Chief of the Chicago Review of Books, published an article today in The Guardian explaining why the Chicago Review of Books chose to boycott Simon & Schuster, the company publishing MILO’s new book, DANGEROUS.

Because crybabies throw tantrums, that’s why.

“Alt right” – anyone whom the “liberals” don’t like
“Hate speech” – any speech the “liberals” don’t like.

The irony here is that Milo is not an “alt-righter” (which originally meant people who hater neo-cons, later became associated with white supremacists and nowadays is apparently anyone whom the “liberals” don’t like) and the original alt-right would sooner lynch him than have him as a spokesperson. An homosexual Jewish convert to Catholicism with a fetish for black guys?

This may be a simple error but it is also likely that the title calling MILO’s book “alt-right hate speech” was the original tile of the article.

That would be my bet too – another smear piece in the making until someone on a British newspaper (and if there’s one word that pops into someone’s mind when thinking of British media that’s not “tabloids” I’d like to know it) decided that the title was , *ahem*, “politically incorrect”.

The Guardian may have realised their error in calling MILO “alt-right”, a political movement which MILO has repeatedly stated he is not part of, despite the media’s various attempts to paint him as a “leader” of the movement, and changed the article title.

Yes, I can’t imagine white supremacists – you know, the people commonly associated with “alt-right” before it became “anyone whom ‘liberals’ don’t like” – picking an homosexual Jewish convert to Catholicism with a fetish for black guys as a spokesperson, let alone leader.

All lies. What 2016 taught us was speaking the truth about groups such as feminazis, racial supremacists, religious supremacists and fags and dykes who want any and every deviance to be a new gender makes for good comedy material.

Don’t forget the lifetime supply of salt and whine, courtesy of SJWs 🙂

Morgan then states that he “made a decision that has nothing to do with political ideology and everything to do with human rights and decency,” by refusing to review Simon & Schuster books in 2017. Exactly what human rights MILO’s book is denying people, Morgan fails to state.

Liar. This is nothing if not political ideology. If Baby Morgan wanted to show basic human decency, he’d review Milo’s book and use logic and facts to address his points. “Human rights and decency”? Feelings trying to pass as counterarguments…

Morgan then states that MILO’s book may inspire terrorist acts. “Rhetoric like [MILO’s] – which targets racial, religious and cultural minorities – invites discrimination. It arguably encourages people such as Omar Mateen and Dylann Roof to think of entire groups of people as less than human.”

Omar Mateen – one of the people Milo claims to be scared of – muslims acting upon islamic law, which, in Omar’s case, had him killing 50 homosexuals in a gay nightclub. Not the kind of person who would listen to anything Mr. Yiannopoulos had to say.

Dylan Roof – white supremacist who killed black people, according to his manifesto he became a white supremacist after learning about “black-on-white” crime. Again, not someone who would listen to an black-loving homosexual. There is irony to be had here, though: Dylan Roof is the by-product of talking points and policies that “liberals” hold sacred. IIRC, his manifesto mentions the Trayvon Martin case as what drove him into the ideology of white supremacy. The whole case was a clusterf*** of “liberals”, “civil rights” groups and the mainstream media whitewashing Trayvon Martin as a saint who did nothing wrong and portraying George Zimmerman as a violent racist out for the blood of black people when all evidence backed his story about being attacked by Martin.

Anyway, it seems to me none of those two acted upon anything Milo wrote, even though they both considered entire groups of people to be less than human. From this one can conclude three things:

    1. There are already ideologies in place that reduce entire groups of people to subhuman status.
    2. Some, if not all, of those ideologies are completely unrelated to Mr. Yiannopoulos’ ideas and speech.
    3. Seeing how Baby Morgan can’t explain how or why Mr. Yiannopoulos’ ideas and speech reduce entire groups of people to subhuman status (in fact, he refuses to do so by refusing to review Milo’s book), or bring forth any evidence of crimes committed that be directly traced to Mr. Yiannopoulos’ speeches or writings, he must be talking out of his ass.

My 2 cents? Baby Morgan’s cries about “human rights and decency”, as well as his action of boycotting a publisher, are cynical attempts to signal virtue and dog-whistling similar thinking minds into hurting a publisher where it hurts – their business, which is the livelihood of many people, directly and indirectly – in an attempt to billy-club them to toe the party line. Anyone who would refuse to read a book from an author they like because the publisher published another book that someone else doesn’t like should get their heads examined – and I don’t believe anyone as fatuous as that would read that much to begin with.

Chicago Review of Books: Milo could inspire jihadist attacks
    …………………………

Oh, good grief. Milo Yiannopoulos can ruffle feathers a bit gratuitously at times (in my opinion), but he has *never* called for violence. Of course, he has every right to have his work published.

And note: he has also been critical of feminists and trans people–but none of *them* are going to go on a violent rampage–just Jihadists.

It seems to me that plenty of Muslims have been waging violent Jihad–all over the world, in fact–without being “incited” by Milo.

So the left can not openly discuss and debate anything. All they can do is vilify Milo and boycott the publisher to try to intimidate them from publishing anything that they (on the left) do not agree with. In other words censoring.

      Yep—already attempted on social media.
Not sure when, or if, they’re going to learn that those moves just don’t work (at least to the point these fascists would like) in this age. Milo and others’ messages get out in alternate ways when the big boys’ attempts to shut them down are tried.
Maybe the Left will whip up another attack pack of H’wood C-listers to film a melodrama psa exposing Milo’s hate of all their favorite victims– just before the book hits the shelves? It will be difficult for the scripters when it comes to the homophobic claim…
