Dubai’s Head of Security: “We completely support Trump in ban on entry to those who may cause breach in America’s security”

Jan 30, 2017 4:02 pm By Robert Spencer

Who would have thought that Dubai’s Head of Security could be such a racist, bigoted “Islamophobe”?

“Dubai’s Head of Security supports Trump’s ‘Muslim ban,’” AlBawaba, January 29, 2017 (thanks to Jerk Chicken):

America’s ban on immigrants from seven Muslim-majority countries may be stirring anger across the West, but in the Arab world the move has received some more surprising responses.

In a series of tweets, Dubai’s Head of General Security, Dhahi Khalfan this morning expressed his support for President Trump’s “Muslim ban”.

نؤيد ترمب تأييدا مطلقا في منع دخول كل من يحتمل انه سيسبب لأمريكا إخلال بأمنها.

— ضاحي خلفان تميم (@Dhahi_Khalfan) January 29, 2017

We completely support Trump in his ban on entry to those who may cause a breach in America’s security.

كل دولة لها حق حماية أمنها ممن يحتمل انه خطر على سلامة الناس

— ضاحي خلفان تميم (@Dhahi_Khalfan) January 29, 2017

Every country has the right to protect its security from anyone who could be dangerous for the safety of its people.

Previous US administrations have embraced all the wanted men of the Arab world and those classified as terrorists… Trump what you’re doing is right.

Khalfan, who has a following 1.5 million on his official Twitter account, also wrote that it was America’s right to “ban whoever they want to ban”. Emirati passport holders are not included in the executive order that Trump signed on Saturday, suspending visas for travellers from several Arab nations including Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen….

The overlooked genius in the executive order is Section 3, which says more countries might be affected down the road. This order might prove more effective than regime change attempts at getting the Islamic world to face its terrorism problem. (Or not. I need to be ready for disappointment. After all, hashtag campaigns, droning and bombing, and ignoring the problem haven’t worked. Why should this?)

The United Arab Emirates made is clear from the beginning that they would not accept refugees due to fear of political and religious unrest. Everyone has the right to protect their country or would you invite any stranger into your house? You don’t want to become like Europe, where people live in fear of the next Terror attack, women are afraid to be out alone at night, and things get cancelled (see Changing of the Guards) or become like a high security prison. Hungary kicked out all Soros-affiliated NGOs and rightfully so. Trump stopped the leftists plan and intentions to change the world into the one they dream of. Wish us luck.

AND OBAMA PICKED THE 7 COUNTRIES.

AND, this morning, I heard that Pres. trump spoke to the King of saudi Arabia- and he (Saudi King) had no issues or problems.

Let’s see–is Rezali Mehil pretending that the Shi’ite Islamic Republic of Iran would be fine with letting in members of The People’s Mujahedin of Iran (also known as Mujahedin-e-Khalq or MeK)? How about the Taliban? Or Jundallah?

There is actually quite a bit of Jihad terror in Iran, for similar reasons to there being Jihad terror in other parts of Dar-al-Islam–either the Sunni/Shia split, or a belief that no matter how savage the Islamists in power, that they are just not Islamic enough. Or in some cases, it is just the standard violent Muslim jockeying for for power.

As Turkish seculars and Ataturk followers we strongly support Mr. Trump in ban on entry to those who may cause breach in America’s security. He has every right to protect his own citizens. Look at us we took almost 4 million refugees and quarter of them are very radical islamists. They are also multiplying in geometrical proportion, daily birth rate in thousands. It is also very difficult to differentiate whether they are friends or foes.

You can stop this while still there is time.

On a fun note, on my Turkish Van Cat FB site, I saw last night that the rumor is out that President Trump is not letting Van Cats in the USA… I just laughed until it hurt… Shows you how stupid some people are..Hang in there, and hope that your leader is soon tossed to the curb. Early this morning, a little after midnight our awesome authorities captured Rasheed Muhammad, a known ISIS terrorist leader that was attempting to enter the US at JFK airport. He was traveling on a visa saying he was visiting family and going to the Super Bowl but because of President Trumps travel ban and heighten security measures he was taken into custody. Thank God for that, my question is how many came in under Obama’s look the other way attitude, I bet a bunch did. And when the great Canadian leader that tried to make President Trump look like a racist he welcomed all the banned refugees into Quebec and there was a terrorist attack the night he let the refugees in killing 6 and injuring a bunch others.

I agree that Trump can temporarily ban entry from countries known to harbor and financially support terrorists. So why aren’t Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt on the list? Those three countries accounted for 18 of the 19 terrorists in the 9/11 attack. He didn’t ban them BECAUSE HE HAS BUSINESS INTERESTS THERE.
Out of the 43 people who carried out terrorist attacks on US soil, only three came from the seven banned countries. A whopping 40 (93%) are from countries Trump didn’t ban: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Pakistan, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Lebanon and Guinea.
Wake up JW readers and quit gloating about this ban. It’s not uniformly applied. You really need to question why Trump excludes a terror hotbed like Saudi Arabia…they very country he accused Hillary Clinton of taking money from.for the Clinton Foundation, and yet he has SET UP 8 BUSINESSES IN SAUDI ARABIA SINCE THE ONSET OF HIS PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN.

    • Terry says

Two things. THE 7 COUNTRIES ARE SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED IN THE FEDERAL ALWS PASSED AND SIGNED BY BARRACK OBAMA.

NEXT- WHERE IS THE PROOF THAT PRES. TRUMP SET UP 8 BUSINESSES IN SAUDI ARABIA SINCE BECOMING PRESIDENT?

      Sounds like fake news

      • Greyhound Fancier says

        Jan 31, 2017 at 10:10 pm

Yesterday, KFAB radio in Omaha had an Arab immigrant PhD on in the afternoon, who explained that the seven nations were chosen in large part because they didn’t have an actual government, and therefore had no agency to record passports or demographics on persons claiming citizenship.

That is to say, you can’t “vet” them because there is no mechanism for that in these seven countries. Iraq, the man said, has a government in control of only a tiny percentage of its territory, making it practically anarchy.

    • Clearsighted says

      Jan 31, 2017 at 6:17 pm

Wake up, Suzette and smell your crêpes!

President Trump used Obama’s list! Obama had NO business interests in Saudi Arabia. So, why did Obama leave Saudi Arabia off the list?

At least, President Trump took action instead of bowing in submission to the Saudi king,

Did you bother to read President Trump’s order before trolling? Paragraph 3 states unequivocally that other countries may be added to the list.

      • Susette says

        Jan 31, 2017 at 6:57 pm

Please, “Clearsighted”, he didn’t have to use Obama’s list. He could have MANNED-UP and included Saudi Arabia.
“President-elect Donald Trump registered eight companies during his presidential campaign that appear to be tied to hotel interests in Saudi Arabia,” according to a report in The Washington Post.

        • Terry says

          Jan 31, 2017 at 7:16 pm

Pres. Trump used Obama’s list because THE BASIS OF THE E.O. IS MADE UP OF TWO LAWS PASSED DURING THE OBAMA ADMINSITRATION, THAT MENTIONS THESE SEVEN COUNTRIES.

As for the Washington Post- I would not believe them (nor the NYT) if they were giving the day of the week.

And ” appear to be tied to—” what is that supposed to mean? Hotels in Saudi Arabia makes ZERO SENSE- AS THE COUNTRY DOES NOT ADMIT TOURISTS.

(other then for the trips to Mecca- For Hajj and then, more or less, in and out)

        • Susette says

          Feb 1, 2017 at 9:30 am

Trump usually condemns Obama’s policies, so it’s surprising that he cites this one! That being said, he still could have MANNED UP and included Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt, as well as Pakistan, Afghanistan, and other countries known to harbor terrorists, and/or sponsor terrorism. I’m supporting an expansion of the temporary ban, so I find it uncanny that some JW commenters are attacking my comments.

        • Terry says

          Feb 1, 2017 at 7:04 pm

I was not attacking or criticizing anyone. I was saying why THOSE SEVEN COUNTRIES.

Your comment- that Pres. Trump should have manned up—. Two things- I believe in paragraph 3- it says that the list could be expanded.
Two- by using Obama’s list- PASSED BY CONGRESS AND SIGNED BY OBAMA (in 2015 & 2016), with the seven nations SPECIFIED BY THE INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES, WHOSE HEADS WERE OBAMA APPOINTEES- it is easier to deflect criticism.

      • gravenimage says

        Jan 31, 2017 at 7:28 pm

Trump’s people have said this list will probably be expanded. This is a good start.
