“They hold that any practice not sanctioned in the Quran…is un-Islamic.”
Does the Qur’an allow for driving an automobile? Wielding an AK-47?
Sharia Alert: “Pakistan’s Constitutional Body Decrees Organ Transplant ‘Un-Islamic,’” Swarajya, January 24, 2017 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Pakistan’s Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), a constitutional body, has decreed that Islam does not permit organ transplantation since it finds no mention in Islam’s holy book, the Quran.
The CII and the Wafaq ul Madaris al-Arabia, a powerful federation of Islamic seminaries in Pakistan, have been quoted by ANI as saying they are opposed to a government-sponsored bill to regulate organ and tissue transplants in the country….
The two bodies termed the bill “unconstitutional” and added that under the Islamic Sharia, it was “worthless”. They hold that any practice not sanctioned in the Quran…is un-Islamic.
