Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Paris peace conference: No “acceptable” solution for Israel and “Palestinians” except two states

Jan 15, 2017 4:05 pm By Robert Spencer

“The participants also stressed the need for the final peace deal that would give full statehood to Palestinians while satisfying Israel’s security needs.”

Is that possible? No, given the Qur’anic imperative to “drive them out from where they drove you out” (2:191). Any “Palestinian” state would simply become a new base for jihad attacks against a diminished Israel. Because these political elites have resolutely refused to face the reality of the jihad, they cannot and will not recognize that fact.

“Paris peace conference: No ‘acceptable’ solution except two states,” Times of Israel, January 15, 2017:

The 70 participants in the Paris peace initiative stressed the need for a two-state solution and rejected any unilateral moves by Israelis or Palestinians to prejudice a final peace deal.

In a joint declaration at the conclusion of the conference Sunday, the countries’ representatives restated that a two-state solution is the only one acceptable to the international community and called on both sides to act accordingly.

The participants “reaffirmed that a negotiated solution with two states, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace and security, is the only way to achieve enduring peace.

“They emphasized the importance for the parties to restate their commitment to this solution, to take urgent steps in order to reverse the current negative trends on the ground, including continued acts of violence and ongoing settlement activity, and to start meaningful direct negotiations.”

The participants also stressed the need for the final peace deal that would give full statehood to Palestinians while satisfying Israel’s security needs.

“A negotiated two-state solution should meet the legitimate aspirations of both sides,” the statement read, “including the Palestinians’ right to statehood and sovereignty, fully end the occupation that began in 1967, satisfy Israel’s security needs and resolve all permanent status issues on the basis of [the relevant] United Nations Security Council resolutions”

The conference discussed the situation in Gaza and participants “noted the importance of addressing the dire humanitarian and security situation in the Gaza Strip and called for swift steps to improve the situation.”

Furthermore, the participants urged both Israelis and Palestinians “comply with international law, including international humanitarian law and human rights law.”

The final statement referenced the Arab Peace Initiative of 2002 and the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, which “clearly condemned settlement activity, incitement and all acts of violence and terror, and called on both sides to take steps to advance the two-state solution on the ground,” as well as “the recommendations of the Quartet on 1 July 2016 and the United States Secretary of State’s principles on the two-state solution on 28 December 2016.”…

This conference is dead letter and a failure. Even the French government and Abbas know it. And the U.K. has balked at the idea of framing a peace without direct negotiations between Palestinian Arabs and Israel. The idea of cementing this prefabricated declaration with another deeply biased, flawed U.N.Security Council resolution will have to be shelved now–not because the outgoing Obama administration would veto it, but because the U.K. likely would, in deference to Mr. Trump’s clearly expressed objections.

It doesn’t matter WHAT the UN decides. Or the Paris Peace Conference. Palestinian Muslims will reject any decision just like they always have.

There may well be ‘peace’ for a while, whereas they call it a ‘hudna’ –
which must be broken with the ‘infidels’ before the ten years are up.
We plebs aren’t supposed to know that, but, sadly, we can read and
find out for ourselves the exact nature of their aims and precepts.

“The participants also stressed the need for the final peace deal that would give full statehood to Palestinians while satisfying Israel’s security needs.”

Reality to participants: You’re discovering America here and now while forgetting that it was discovered already over 500 years ago. The quoted state of affairs is already in existence! “Palestinian state” is in Jordan, and there the peace treaty between it and Israel, which quite satisfy Israel’s security needs. Thus you came, you indulged in gluttony (probably also in drunkenness) while wasting time and tax-payers money, and achieved nothing. Shame on all of you!

  5. mortimer says

    Jan 15, 2017 at 5:08 pm

The two-state solution was implemented by Great Britain in 1923.

Jordan is a 20th-century British invention, dreamed up in the 1920s, for the peoples living in what Britain illegally hived off from the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine in 1923. In 1923 the British arbitrarily violated the Mandate, morally and legally, by creating the “Emirate of Jordan” in Eastern Palestine. The British announced that this was a “temporary” measure, which they quietly and quickly made “permanent.” Jews were no longer allowed to live there. Once the British established the Mandate, and Jewish immigration began to create a mini-industrial revolution, both Western and Eastern Palestine attracted waves of Muslim Arab immigrants from Egypt and Syria. These new immigrants found it convenient to make common cause with the non-Bedouin residents of Jordan and much later, specifically after 1967, called themselves and their children Palestinians. President Roosevelt pointed out in 1939 that “Arab immigration into Palestine since 1921 has vastly exceeded the total Jewish immigration during this whole period.” Until 1946, its British administrators called TransJordan — Eastern Palestine.

The moral equivalence here is stomach turning. One of the sides has done everything reasonable to try for peace, the other keeps insisting that they’ll drive the Jews to the sea.

The Apostle Paul, sometime near in time to the second Temple destruction in Jerusalem:
“Whenever it is that they are saying ‘peace and security’…sudden destruction will be instantly upon them as pangs of distress upon a pregnant woman…and they will not escape.”

The only kind of *peace* this conference of seventy was after is the destruction of the State of Israel. They all know that moslims refuse to live peacefully with anyone, but especially with the Jews.

Ezekiel 38 and 39 concerns gog’s crowd of nations surrounding Israel to destroy and plunder.

Can ANY of these ELITE participants answer just THREE of the following questions?

The Palestinian people obviously, if they truly existed, should also have left their mark or are mentioned by others.

If our Academics, Historians, Politicians and others are so sure that ‘Palestine & its people’, go back throughout most of recorded history, one would expect them to be able to answer a few very simple and basic questions about the alleged country of Palestine & its people, the Palestinians.
    For example:

When was the country of Palestine founded and by whom?
Where did the Palestinian people originate from?
    What were Palestine’s borders?

    Who were its neighbours?
What language did the Palestinians speak?
    What writing did they use?

What manuscripts or records did they leave whether written or engraved?
    What was their religion?
    Where are their temples?

What monuments attest to their existence?
What was the name of their capital?
    Name its other major cities.

    What was their currency called?
Are there any coins that attest to their economy?
What was Palestine’s form of government?
    Name its kings or rulers.

    What are their achievements?
With which other peoples did the Palestinians interact?
Where can one find any records where in the name of the country of Palestine or its people are mentioned?

What Archaeological sites can one name?
Where can one find the recorded history of these people?
Whom did they conquer or were conquered by?

Was Palestine ever recognized by a country whose existence, at that time or even now, leaves no room for misunderstanding?
Can anyone name at least Five Palestinian leaders before Arafat?

Since there is no such recognized country today, what caused its demise and when did it occur?
Those who are lamenting the ‘low sinking’ of a ‘once proud’ nation, please tell us, when exactly was this proud nation brought down?

By whom was it brought down?
Also, what was it so proud of?

    ANYONE?

*Article (6) UN projects, accords and resolutions, or those of any individual which undermine the Palestinian people’s right in their homeland are illegal and rejected.

Article (19) Armed struggle is a strategy and not a tactic…and this struggle will not cease unless the Zionist state is demolished and Palestine is completely liberated.

Article (22) Opposing any political solution offered as an alternative to demolishing the Zionist occupation in Palestine, as well as any project intended to liquidate the Palestinian case or impose any international mandate on its people.*

      source… http://www.mideastweb.org/fateh.htm#The%20Movement%27s%20Essential

      and Hamas (from its *Covenant*):

      *Article Eleven:

The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up. Neither a single Arab country nor all Arab countries, neither any king or president, nor all the kings and presidents, neither any organization nor all of them, be they Palestinian or Arab, possess the right to do that. Palestine is an Islamic Waqf land consecrated for Moslem generations until Judgement Day. This being so, who could claim to have the right to represent Moslem generations till Judgement Day?

This is the law governing the land of Palestine in the Islamic Sharia (law) and the same goes for any land the Moslems have conquered by force, because during the times of (Islamic) conquests, the Moslems consecrated these lands to Moslem generations till the Day of Judgement…*

Should make a 4 state solution. Get everyone involved (Arab nations love to say Palestinian cause is the most important cause) So put you money where your mouth is. Make 1 state for Hamas in Gaza and part of the Sinai (Egypt gets involved). ISIS is in Sinai so Hamas will fit right in. Make 1 state in part of the West Bank and a piece of Jordan for Fatah (Jordan gets involved), make 1 state for Bedouins, Druze, and northern Arab Palestinians in part of Golan Heights and Syria (Syria gets involved), and 1 Jewish State. That way everyone gives up something for peace, all have a stake in the new Palestinian states, issue of refugees is resolved, no problem with trying to connect Gaza and West Bank, no need for Fatah and Hamas to reconcile, etc. Everyone is happy and everyone loses and wins something – the true meaning of negotiations. The 2 state solution died after Arafat said no to 95% of the West Bank and instead rewarded Israel’s efforts for peace with the Second Intifada. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of crazy. Start thinking outside the box or everyone can keep digging to try and get out of the hole, which only makes the hole bigger.
