Yesterday evening I did an “Ask Me Anything” session at the Reddit subgroup The_Donald. I answered a wide variety of questions; you can read the exchanges here.
I did not read it all, but the part I read was great, really impressive.
I just wished this new youtubers who a critical to Islam would be more knowledgeable of Robert’s work, because it does cut a lot of corners, everything that Robert said it would happen in regarding to Islam, did happen, because it follows a pattern, once you get this it is easy to predict it all.
Thanks Robert.

Robert was doing great dawha for the cause. Here is an interesting quote I picked from him on that forum…
During the Cold War we had Radio Free Europe and the VOA beaming into Communist countries explaining why Communism was a failed system. Now we don’t dare challenge the jihad ideology, because it’s religious. But what if, when we went into Iraq and Afghanistan, we had offered refuge to every woman beaten by her husband, and every secret ex-Muslim (secret because of Islam’s death penalty for apostasy), and every non-Muslim persecuted by Muslims, and every gay person in fear of being murdered, etc.? The outcome would have been very different.
Imagine under Trump Radio Free Europe begins broadcasting challenges to the jihad ideology?

Agreed! but neither of the last two administrations had any moral clarity about islam and with BO in particular i could see Those who came for refuge being returned ti jihadists with new information that would of cause their situation to be worse

Would love to see a freedom radio anti jihad

Hi Folks, off topic
Some good news from Europe, The UK that is
===================================
There are still clergymen standing up for Christianity. Latest example, quoting the headline: “A chaplain to the Queen who criticised a Scottish Episcopal Church (SEC) service where the Koran was read has stepped down, saying he must ‘defend the faith’.”
Guts and commitment, if interested to learn more about him and what happened go to http://tinyurl.com/jfy9w47
Robert: on another of these posts, someone (I think their name was McKellar?) asked if most Muslims who practice Taqiyya would think it all right to directly say, “I am NOT a Muslim” to a non-Muslim immigration official or another non-Muslim (as opposed to simply lying and saying that they were a Christian, a Jew, etc.) What is your understanding on this, please?
Yes, they could do that. “War is deceit,” said Muhammad. The questioning would have to be more detailed and clever to be effective.

Great Q&A! I read the exchange of ideas and always find that I can learn more.
So pleased that so many people participated. It is very much appreciated that you make the time to be a part of these forums to spread the truth. People seem hungry to know the truth. We have been lied to for so long we begin to believe the lies.
Thank you, Robert Spencer.
I’m praying that you will find the right publisher for your “History of Islam” book.
This is a sorely needed book. I was studying the widely held myth (convivencia) associated with the Muslim conquest of Spain and Al-Anadalus and from there stumbled upon the bloody Muslim conquest in India, then the Barbary Coast Pirates and Jefferson, and finally, I landed on the writings of the early church fathers and what they thought about Islam. Wow! St. John of Damascus had quite a lot to say. He deemed the religion be a heresy and Mo a charlatan. Certainly not what Vatican II declared and what Pope Francis declares and defends. Very confusing for the Catholic community and Christians in general. What precipitated the change of opinion? It appears Benedict XVI didn’t share that thinking. One wonders if that was an issue for his resignation. Just sayin’
But to the point, I hope you are able to publish soon. I couldn’t find a well-referenced book that lays out and ties together the 1400 year history of Muslim conquest and subyugation of peoples in the world. The MO has never changed. Maybe, since we have a new sheriff in town, there will be more acceptability of the topic among publishers.

Vic – you could try Andrew Bostom’s Legacy of Jihad. Bat Yeor’s books are solidly referenced and pretty comprehensive. There is also Fregosi, “Jihad in the West”. And for India, the books of K S Lal. And Pirenne, “Mohammed and Charlemagne”, and Emmet Scott, “Mohammed and Charlemagne Revisited”.

To Dumbledor–Thanks so much for the references. You’ve made my day. I spend too much time at the library and searching out books, but I do love connecting the dots and for that one has to go deep into history and personal accounts of the era to ferret out what was really happening and why. I am reading Bat Ye’Or’s Eurabia right now as well as a couple of other books plus trying to catch up with Robert Spencer’s many articles and speeches. Seeking truth and standing on Truth is not easy. One has to sift through many narratives and rhetoric.
We are living in exciting times. Again, thank you.

“Ban immigration from Muslim countries. This is not in reality unconstitutional. The Constitution doesn’t apply to non-citizens, and no one has some natural right to come to the US. Besides that, I would aggressively counter the guiding ideology of the jihadis – which the US has NEVER yet done in any way. During the Cold War we had Radio Free Europe and the VOA beaming into Communist countries explaining why Communism was a failed system. I personnally would not have a strict “no-muslim” immigration ban. Not because of any ‘unconstitutionality’ (It is not, remember the “Chinese Exclusion Act” ?) but because it’s all too sweeping and would prevent genuine good people from coming here (would Robert really single out Tashbih Sayyid ?).
However we could definitely an immigration act not unlike the Immigration Act of 1924 which would set up quotas with muslim countries having the most minimal ones. This coupled with good selection on who to handle a visa would make an immigration policy fair to all including muslim foreigners who genuinely our cultures and traditions.

@ More Ham Ed,
The final test is, if they come back to the server and ask If they can have another one!
I highly respect Robert Spencer and have seen him debate others in person. (It’s not pretty for the opponent.) However, I think it’s time we use Dr. Bill Warner’s approach. Don’t discuss Muslims, talk about Islamic doctrine and learn about Mohammed’s Sira and Hadith.
When one realizes that Muhammad was a barbaric warrior prophet and that the Qur’an says 91 times that he was the perfect man, it’s easy to understand the actions of IS, Boko Haram, al-Qaeda, HAMAS, al-Shabaab, etc.
I fail to see how it’s “Dr. Bill Warner’s approach,” as opposed to mine, to “talk about Islamic doctrine and learn about Mohammed’s Sira and Hadith.”
In reality, I’ve written several books about Islamic doctrine, the Sira and Hadith, including “The Complete Infidel’s Guide to Koran” and “The Truth About Muhammad.”
Read the whole thing! Very thoughtful questions – enlightening answers, Mr. Spencer. I’m sure a lot of people went away wanting to do more research. Great stuff!
