The only chance Theresa May has for a peaceful and happy retirement is if that civil strife is delayed long enough for her to enjoy her dotage with her self-delusions intact. My latest at The Geller Report:
The Daily Mail reported last Thursday that “a convicted murderer from Holland was able to walk through Britain’s porous borders without any checks and went on to attack two police officers with a claw-hammer.” That’s bad enough, but what it suggests about Britain’s present and future course is even worse. What exactly does Theresa May and her government think their country will be like in five years?
The Mail went on to note that “Afghan-born Jamshid Piruz was allowed to enter the UK unchallenged despite being sentenced to 12 years in jail for slaughtering his female tenant in cold-blood after watching a Taliban beheading video.” That murder was in the Netherlands: “In June 2006, he murdered his Chinese female tenant by cutting off her head at a house in Almere, a city close to Amsterdam.”
Piruz did this because he was, according to court documents, “inspired by Taliban movies in which beheadings were seen.”
By contrast, when Pamela Geller and I were banned from entering Great Britain in 2013, the letter to me from the UK Home Office explaining that I was not going to be allowed to enter the country said that I was banned for saying: “[Islam] is a religion and is a belief system that mandates warfare against unbelievers for the purpose for establishing a societal model that is absolutely incompatible with Western society…” — which is like being banned for saying that water is wet.
Rather than being ashamed of banning someone from her country for enunciating an obvious fact, British Prime Minister Theresa May is proud. Last month, she spoke at a luncheon of the Conservative Friends of Israel, and said:
Indeed, when I was Home Secretary we took what I believe was an important step in gauging a truer picture of the problem, requiring all police forces to record religious hate crimes separately, by faith.
And I made sure we kept extremism – including the sort that peddles anti-Semitic vitriol – out of our country.
That is why I said no to so-called comedians like Dieudonne coming to Britain.
It’s why I stopped Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer and Pastor Terry Jones coming too – since Islamophobia comes from the same wellspring of hatred.
It is why I kicked out Abu Hamza and Abu Qatada as well.
So evidently, as far as May is concerned, Pamela Geller and I are the “Islamophobic” equivalent of Abu Hamza and Abu Qatada. Abu Hamza is in solitary confinement in a super-max U.S. for, among other things, conspiring to set up a training camp for jihad terrorists in Bly, Oregon. Abu Qatada was convicted of plotting the jihad massacre of Americans and Israelis in Jordan.
Meanwhile, Britain also has a steadily lengthening record of admitting jihad preachers without a moment of hesitation. Syed Muzaffar Shah Qadri’s preaching of hatred and jihad violence was so hardline that he was banned from preaching in Pakistan, but the UK Home Office welcomed him into Britain. The UK Home Office recently admitted Shaykh Hamza Sodagar into the country, despite the fact that he has said: “If there’s homosexual men, the punishment is one of five things. One – the easiest one maybe – chop their head off, that’s the easiest. Second – burn them to death. Third – throw ’em off a cliff. Fourth – tear down a wall on them so they die under that. Fifth – a combination of the above.” The Home Office also recently admitted two jihad preachers who had praised the murderer of a foe of Pakistan’s blasphemy laws. One of them was welcomed by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
The UK also recently banned three bishops from areas of Iraq and Syria where Christians are persecuted from entering the country.
So what does Theresa May think is going to be the outcome of all this? Does she think that by admitting jihad preachers such as Syed Muzaffar Shah Qadri and jihad terrorists such as Jamshid Piruz into the U.K., while banning foes of jihad terror, she will pacify her restive and growing Muslim population, and obviate the need for jihad at all? So apparently she believes that if “Islamophobia” is stamped out, Muslims will see no need to respond with jihad?
Imagine how surprised she will be when she has managed to silence every last critic of Islam and jihad, and jihad will still rear its bloody head in her green and pleasant land. But it boggles the mind to think she could be this stupid in the first place. Is there no one in the British government with sufficient knowledge and courage to take the Prime Minister aside and explain to her that jihad violence arises from imperatives within Islam itself, which will not be blunted, calmed, or discarded in the face of kindness from infidels?
It appears as if there isn’t. And so Theresa May will have to learn the hard way, when she looks out in the year 2022 on the war zone that her country has become, courtesy of her party and her policies. She is already certain to go down in history as one of those most responsible for plunging twenty-first century Britain into bloodshed and chaos. The only chance she has for a peaceful and happy retirement is if that civil strife is delayed long enough for her to enjoy her dotage with her self-delusions intact.
