Turkey: Muslim screaming “Allahu akbar” claims to have bomb in airport

Jan 3, 2017 7:18 am By Robert Spencer

Turkish authorities, imitating their European counterparts, claim he is mentally ill. Or maybe he was just trying to “strike terror in the enemies of Allah” (Qur’an 8:60).

“Horror as Syrian ‘attacker carrying a bomb screams Allahu Akbar’ in major Turkey airport,” Express, January 2, 2017:

A SYRIAN man carrying a bomb shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he passed through security at a major Turkish airport, according to reports.

The man was going through security checks in the outbound terminal at the Antalya Airport when he reportedly screamed: “I have a bomb on me.”

He was detained by police and airport security as terrified passengers watched on following the threat, according to CNN Turkey.

An eyewitness said the Syrian man was caught as he tried to pass his luggage through the airport’s X-ray machines before telling security he was carrying a bomb.

The horrified witness told local media website NTV that the man, who has not been named, mentioned “work with the terrorists”.

The suspect has since been taken to a local police station after being removed from the airport, according to reports.

The man, who was passing through customs and security checks at the time, was detained by police and security officials at around 9.55am local time.

An eyewitness report said the man was apprehended as he tried to pass his luggage through the X-ray machine.

The man is believed to have had family problems and he may have been high on marijuana, according to local media reports.

CNN Turkey has reported that the man may have been “mentally unbalanced”….

I went to Turkey about 12 years ago. There is no chance that I would go now as it has increasingly Islamized and is far too dangerous. Thank goodness no one was killed in this instance.

Tourism in Turkey is decreasing, mostly thanks to Erdogan and the image he passes to the outside. No one wants to give money to a dictator. If no German or Russian visits Turkey, that would be almost a 50% drop.

I was there about 7 years ago. In the last year, some of the places I went have been sites of jihadi attacks.

One thing gives me “hope” — Erdogan thinks he can be pals with Russia. I don’t think that will work out as he hopes.

Look…Islam is good, and Allah is Greater, and Allah knows best…but the Salafis have declared you all apostate kuffar, and are mass-murdering you in the streets of your home towns. The cognitive dissonance must be excrutiating. Heads should be exploding all over Dar al-Islam, but they never do. Only blame the Joos! The Joos! The awful Joos! And the Masons.

        Jan 3, 2017 at 9:38 am

Turks should start worrying. If the Joooos can go around killing foreign ambassadors what can they do to mere civilians? Maybe that hadith about stones and trees saying “oh muslim, there’s a joooo hiding behind me, come and kill him” should be updated to “oh turk, there’s a joooo hiding behind me, run away as far and fast as you can”.

    “maybe he was mentally ill”.
Or maybe there was a misunderstanding;Maybe he was just looking for Allie’s Snackbar.
Maybe what he said was “I have a bong on me” but the security guards mistook that for “I have a bomb on me”.
    Yeah,that must be it.

{sarc on/}Remember that isLAM has nothing to do with ISLam.
isLAM is the religion of peace. Not
    whereas..
ISLam is the religion of blowing people to pieces.
So there must be no confusion here about the religion of peace[sarc/off}.

Everywhere and everytime, this is the natural result of Islam. Fitna, or constant strife and struggle in the name of Allah, is all these people have to offer. How long will the world continue to accept Islam as an ideology? We must reject it and relegate it to the ashbin of history if we are to survive as a species.

Turkey has thousands of trained islamic jihadist fighters and millions of active jihadist sympathizers in its borders. The Turkish president himself is a muslim brotherhood thug and a jihadist sympathizer with a deep islamist agenda. There are also Hundreds of thousands of Gulenist islamists in Turkey. (Gulenist islamists whose leadership is based in the US are very similar to Muslim Brotherhood but with a Turkish agenda). Turkey has also other factions such as the PKK, Tac, Ataturk secularists and militarist factions. Turkey is like a time bomb waiting to explode and 2017 will undoubtedly bring more chaos and multiple jihad violence in Turkey. The question is can the US and Nato who have nukes in Turkey which is also a member of Nato can do anything to calm down the destructive jihadist winds that are blowing in Turkey?

Good luck for Turks trying to use them without codes and means of deployment. Maybe they can toss them from a tall building and hope they hit someone passing by on the street?

“The Turkish president himself is a muslim brotherhood thug and a jihadist sympathizer with a deep islamist agenda. ”

Which nations sat with him to negotiate peace talks between Syrian rebels and the Assad regime?

There is very ominous something coming to Turkey, especially for the remaining %30 “others”. If you remember what happened 100 years ago you can understand. Erdogan started the reverse revolution.. They are changing the constitution to make him the new sultan.. I hope the genocide will be stopped.

      • Westman says

        Jan 3, 2017 at 11:27 am

It must be sad for the Turks, who appreciated the advances and freedom under the Ataturk reforms, to watch it and the world’s respect for Turkey fade into the common Islamic morass.

I’m beginning to see that all majority Islamic countries, like dinosaurs, are headed, at different rates, for their own tar pits. They might have a temporary deceleration due to unearned wealth like oil and jizya, while the direction is unchanged. The exodus to Europe could be imagined as the realization that the ME tarpits are unrecoverable and the inhabitants must go where there are subsidies.

        • EmHotep says

          Jan 3, 2017 at 3:16 pm

Thank you, what I am afraid of is that : erdogan and his party will declare seculars as a national threat and start mass killings to depopulate. Today the government started arresting secular Turks, even secularism is protected in the turkish constitution in the article 1.

In 2010 David Cameron made a speech in which he said that it made him very angry that Turkey had not been admitted to membership of the EU. He has always campaigned for Turkey to be a member, notwithstanding that if it were, then 80 million Muslims from Turkey would have the right to settle in UK.

One wonders how a man of this incomparable stupidity ever became Prime Minister.

EmHotep, Erdogan is already edging toward becoming a virtual dictator in Turkey. He seems to be pulling the Putin gambit–just cycling through between president and prime minister–but whichever office he is holding is the one with the power.

Again, I hope secularists in Turkey are able to stay safe.

Believability went out the window a long time ago. Now it’s about the narrative, and the Moslems have been pushing the Jew narrative since long before Adolph was a twinkle in his old man’s eye. Prez Barack, Erdoghhan. Unbelievable.

CNN turkey? If it’s a branch of the american CNN, no wonder they reported his mental illness.

Well, did he have a bomb? If not, maybe he is just mentally ill. Then again, you don’t need a bomb to cause terror.

    • gravenimage says

      Jan 3, 2017 at 4:19 pm

Yes–this is part of CNN. And what I have read about it, it is shocking how much antisemitism and other nastiness you find on CNN Türk.

They also studiously avoided broadcasting anything about the 2013-14 protests in Turkey–which was clearly blatant censorship, since this would definitely be news, whatever one’s political stance.

I am surprised they haven’t yet used the ‘Jew card’ ‘Zionist conspiracy’ yet. They probably decided to prefer the Western excuse though as must feel this is more acceptable to the West, as they want to join the EU…….namely that many Muslims are mentally ill ?
