Last week I had a long talk with Sam Sholli of None of the Above on a wide range of issues, including the Trump presidency and the nature and magnitude of the jihad threat.

“Paradise is guaranteed for those who kill or are killed in the name of Allah.” Is more evidence needed to declare that Islam is the doctrine of Satan?

Indeed, Guy! …sex heaven is beyond preposterous & gross!

Another strong interview by the knowledgeable, cool and articulate Robert Spencer. Interview with young liberal student journalist in UK.
One quibble – There is a missing reference in the 20-second clip appended to the end of video. The head in the right side box appears to be giving a simultaneous translation from muted words of someone in the left side box. The short brief message is cautioning to read the text (the jihadi literature). This follows the excellent interview and fits in the context of Robert Spencer’s message to be aware of Islamic supremacist jihad. However, the interview stands without this appended 20 seconds. (Perhaps add reference, for people like me who don’t recognize the speaker in appended clip.)
Lauri Heikkilä says
I’m not quite sure what it is about, but the “head in the right side box” is Jordan Peterson, a professor in the University of Toronto and a clinical psychologist. He’s a very strong proponent of free speech and honesty, who like another Canadian, Gad Saad, has risen to the forefront of the fight against, well… idiocy, in the academic world. A very smart man, you should check him out.

Mr. Sholli conducted a fantastic interview. That is one of the most wide-ranging and informative discussions on the relevant key issues I have seen. Our modern narrative-pushing reporters could learn a great deal by watching Sholli ask questions. Of course, learning is not something which interests most modern reporters.
Breivik was my personal JFK assassination moment. I remember exactly where I was in a beach house on vacation when I heard the news. My first thought was his murders would be leveraged by the Left and other stealth jihadists to destroy any counterjihad movement for the foreseeable future.

“My first thought was his murders would be leveraged by the Left and other stealth jihadists to destroy any counterjihad movement for the foreseeable future”
Which was Breivik’s plan all along – make the then forefront figures of the CJ movement toxic so that his neo-Nazi buddies would be perceived as the only viable option to combat the islamization of the West:

He wasn’t that bright – and he’s had a few years since to read articles about himself and dream up different self-glorifying accounts of why he did it.
Bullet and a pit of quick-lime called-for here, I think.

I have to agree with Beagle. This was a fantastic interview with short questions and candid, frank replies. So refreshing from cable TV news.
Imagine if Hannity, who asks Robert to come on his show occasionally, allowed the time and space given to Robert to range around in this interview, without a contentious third guest and all the talk show host interruptions.
But I did keep wondering if Mr. Sholli was a Muslim trying to bait RS. Good leading questions that even allowed for both dry and funny replies making us all laugh at home.
My wife was eavesdropping the video and agreed that it was very good. She caught the reference to Whitman.
Thanks to RS for his unstinting “rather absurd work” and reminding everyone that infidels are not promised tea and hugs from the believers in the Koran.

“Mono-causality” ???? Gordon Bennett ! – what is your friend on ?
I’m only two minutes in, and I may have to bail out right here ……….
I shall continue with my bull-shit detector set on “High” and hope for an increasification of cromularity…..

Great interview Mr. Spencer. Thank you!

Mr. Spencer, thank you again. The Lord bless and keep you…

Some people such as Anders Breivik go over the edge and become violent before the general population
also becomes violent. Take the American Civil War. John Brown went over the edge at Harper’s Ferry
and used violence in order to abolish slavery. He did not succeed but in the end it did take violence to
abolish slavery. And take the American or French Revolution, in the end it took violence to expel the
British from America. Also take a look at the British making peace with the Shin Fain. Did they make peace
because they were tired of fighting the IRA? In India they made peace with Gandhi, but was that because
the Indian Guerillas were beginning to win? Is it not so that us humans are no more civilized than
chimpanzees, and that any change to the leadership has to be decided by violence? Have we evolved to
the point whereby change can come without violence? Democracy suggests that change can come
without violence, but the left has become violent, and behaving like chimps.

Fantastic Interview. I admire Sam Sholli’s unbiased and emotionally detached style of questioning. Spencer gave rapid fire, focused answers to many important questions. A suggestion for Mr. Spencer to write about the difference between multi-culturalism and pluralism. Maybe you have and I haven’t found it yet.

Robert’s position on immigration is something I totally disagree with. It is a fact that some moslems, who commit crimes in the name of allah, are the second or third generation moslems. They were born in the country, educated, have jobs and ofter comfortable living conditions. There are also converts to islam, who in many cases even worse then natural moslems.
There is generally a striking contradiction in his position. Robert, rightly, states that islam is at the base of all problems with moslems and yet, never expressed the need to ban islam.
