As soon as Tom Perez was chosen as head of the DNC, he chose Keith Ellison as Deputy Chair, signaling that he would do the bidding of the Islamic supremacist groups with whom Ellison is affiliated. Of President Trump, he says: “He hasn’t proposed anything but chaos and carnage from day one. We’ve seen no evidence of anything constructive from this president.” Consider that against the backdrop of the stated reason for Trump’s executive order on immigration, which Perez also denounced, in the order itself: “to protect the American people from terrorist attacks by foreign nationals admitted to the United States.” For Perez and the Democrats, protecting the American people is “chaos and carnage” and nothing “constructive.”
Perez added: “Look at the ill-advised and frankly racist executive action against Muslims.” Did Perez call immigration restrictions by Obama and Carter “frankly racist”? What race do Somalis and Iranians and Sudanese have in common? What about the 87% of Muslims who were unaffected by the ban? How is it “racist” to let them in while excluding others of the same race? In calling Trump’s action “frankly racist,” Perez is being frankly demogogic: Islam is not a race and the ban clearly did not target Muslims in the aggregate. There is no genuine debate in the public square because one side simply isn’t operating on the basis of rationality.

“We’ve seen no evidence of anything constructive from this president.”…
Perez said the president has “governed from the far right in everything he’s done.”
“Look at the ill-advised and frankly racist executive action against Muslims,” Perez said….
