During a recent interview on CBN, President Trump was asked if he thinks America should prioritize persecuted Christians as refugees. He responded:
Yes. Yes, they’ve been horribly treated. If you were a Christian in Syria it was impossible, or at least very, very tough, to get into the United States. If you were a Muslim you could come in, but if you were a Christian, it was almost impossible and the reason that was so unfair — everybody was persecuted, in all fairness — but they were chopping off the heads of everybody but more so the Christians. And I thought it was very, very unfair. So we are going to help them.
While Obama was making such lofty admonishments, his administration was quietly discriminating against Mideast Christians in a myriad of ways — including, as Trump pointed out above, by very obviously favoring Muslim refugees over Christian ones. Indeed, despite the U.S. government’s own acknowledgement that ISIS was committing genocide against Syrian Christians — and not against fellow Sunni Muslims — the Obama administration took in 5,435 Muslims, almost all of whom were Sunni, but only 28 Christians. Considering that Christians are 10 percent of Syria’s population, to be merely on an equal ratio with Muslims entering America, at least 500 Christians should’ve been granted asylum, not 28.
But questions of equal numbers aside, the idea of prioritizing Christian refugees over Muslims (which I argued for back in 2015) is not only more humane; it brings benefits to America as well.
Consider:
Unlike Muslims, Christian minorities are being singled out and persecuted simply because of their despised religious identity. From a humanitarian point of view — and humanitarianism is the reason being cited for accepting millions of refugees — Christians should receive top priority simply because they are the most persecuted group in the Middle East. Even before the Islamic State was formed, Christians were, and continue to be, targeted by Muslims in general — Muslim individuals, Muslim mobs, and Muslim regimes, from Muslim countries of all races (Arab, African, Asian) — and for the same reason: Christians are infidel number one. (See Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians for hundreds of anecdotes before the rise of ISIS as well as the Muslim doctrines that create such hate for Christians.)
Conversely, Muslim refugees — as opposed to the many ISIS and other jihadi sympathizers posing as “refugees” — are not fleeing religious persecution (as mentioned, 99% of Muslim refugees accepted into the U.S. are, like ISIS, Sunnis), but chaos created by the violent and supremacist teachings of their own religion. Hence why when large numbers of Muslims enter Western nations — in Germany, Sweden, France, the UK — tension, crimes, rapes, and terrorism soar.
Indeed, what more proof is needed than the fact that so-called Muslim “refugees” are throwing Christians overboard during their boat voyages across the Mediterranean to Europe? Or that Muslim majority refugee centers in Europe are essentially microcosms of Muslim majority nations: there, Christian minorities continue to be persecuted. One report found that 88% of the 231 Christian refugees interviewed in Germany have suffered religiously motivated persecution in the form of insults, death threats, and sexual assaults. Some were pressured to convert to Islam. “I really didn’t know that after coming to Germany I would be harassed because of my faith in the very same way as back in Iran,” one Christian refugee said.
Is persecuting religious minorities the behavior of people who are in need of refugee status in America? Or is this behavior yet another reminder that it is non-Muslims from the Middle East who are truly in need of sanctuary?
The U.S. should further prioritize Christian refugees because U.S. foreign policies are directly responsible for exacerbating their persecution. Christians did not flee from Bashar Assad’s Syria, or Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, or Muammar Gaddafi’s Libya. Their systematic persecution—to the point of genocide — began only after the U.S. interfered in those nations under the pretext of “democracy.” All that these policies did is unleash the jihadi forces that the dictators had long kept suppressed. Now the Islamic State is deeply embedded in precisely all three nations, enslaving, raping, and slaughtering Christians and other minorities.
Surely if U.S. policies were responsible for unleashing the full-blown jihad on Christians, the least humanitarian America can do is prioritize Christians as refugees? In fact, and as Trump pointed out during his CBN interview, it’s the opposite: according to one report, from May 1 to May 23 alone, 499 Syrian refugees were received into the U.S, 99% of them Sunnis. Zero Christians were admitted.
Questions of fairness and humanitarianism aside, there are also benefits in absorbing Mideast Christians refugees instead of Muslims. Christians are easily assimilated in Western societies, due to the shared Christian heritage and outlook, and regularly become productive members of society. Muslims follow a completely different blueprint, Islamic law, or Sharia — which calls for constant hostility (jihad) against all non-Muslims, and advocates any number of distinctly anti-Western practices (misogyny, sex slavery, death for “blasphemers” and “apostates,” etc.). Hence it’s no surprise that many Muslim asylum seekers are anti-Western at heart — or, as a German police union chief once said, Muslim migrants “despise our country and laugh at our justice.”
Mideast Christians also bring trustworthy language and cultural skills. They understand the Middle Eastern — including Islamic — mindset and can help the U.S. understand it. And unlike Muslims, Christians have no “conflicting loyalty” issues: Islamic law forbids Muslims from befriending or aiding “infidels” against fellow Muslims (click here to see some of the treachery this leads to in the U.S. and here to see the treachery Christians have suffered from their longtime Muslim neighbors and “friends”). No such threat exists among Mideast Christians. They, too, render unto God what is God’s and unto Caesar what is Caesar’s — not to mention they have no loyalty to the Islamic ideologies that made their lives a living hell in the Middle East, the Islamic ideologies that are also responsible for jihadi terror in America. Thus a win-win: the U.S. and Mideast Christians complement each other, if only in that they share the same foe.
All the above reasons — from those that offer humanitarian relief to the true victims of persecution and genocide, to those that offer stability and benefits to the United States — are unassailable in their logic.
President Trump understands this — even if most liberals and lying media don’t.

Muslims do anything to advance their cause and eating pork is one of them. It is called Taqqeh. m
Daniel Triplett says
True.
During the Spanish Inquisition, continuing to this day, Muslims approved by Islamic law, will if necessary to deceptively blend in, attend Catholic Mass, participate in Christian rites, and ACCEPT THE HOLY EUCHARIST.
Muslims will lie and deceive in any way imaginable to advance Islam. No holds barred.
So how do you “vet” people like this? We can’t, IMO.
Perhaps a Kaffir expert on Islam like Robert Spencer, along with true Imam/Caliph Apostates could devise a method. But this is no easy task, and is nothing that a government bureaucrat is going to invent on his own.
David says
A Koran and matches should do it.

David Scoltock says
Kill them all and god shall know his own?
Yeah, the christians tried that, so we go back to the old genocidal ways? Yeah, let’s repeat the Albigensian crusade and still hold the moral high ground.
LB says
How in the hell did you associate the words “Quran” and “matches” to “genocide” and “Albigensian crusade”?? You’d be an interesting subject for a psych major friend of mine.
In case David’s suggestion wasn’t obvious by now, allow me to elaborate: I believe he was referring to burning a Quran (the arabic “holy” version, not eng. translation) in front of a “Syrian” and see whether he’d get violent or not. Even muslims who are advanced in taqqiya will have a hard time watching the “holy” quran burn without flinching, considering they are devout enough (all muslim terrorists are).
E. Millord says
Who speaks here about killing somebody exept you (and the islamists)?
Be carefull on your historical sources about the religion civil war in France during the sixteenth century: both sides were wrong!
Compare to the eternal war included in the Koran, in use non stop with muslims from the 7th century! Religion “of peace and love”?
UNCLE VLADDI says
David Smallcock – you poor snowflake! Cuck off and go melt elsewhere, and take your hysterical slanderous frauds with you!

I would assume that practicing Muslims would neither eat pork or acknowledge Jesus as a divine figure. Sitting down with them during the vetting process over a meal with pork, answering some theological questions about the Christian faith, reciting a creed (which they should know by heart, and asking them to affirm belief in Jesus as God might work in some cases. If their local bishop has not been martyred, he could vouch for them as a life-long member of his congregation (that would be ideal). Of course, Taqqiya would allow for Muslims to lie (and repent later), so even this proceedure would not be fool-proof. Further, liberals would call this a religious test, but in reality, it is just would simply be a method for ascertaining whether someone is a true Muslim or not.
David Scoltock says
yeah and these fanatics won’t eat pork to get in and do their duty to islam? There is a passage in the koran allowing then to do so in the name of islam.
FP says
Uh…that is exactly what I said in my post. Might be polite to read it before commenting.
on the ridge says
I think it should go further to prove they are NOT Muslim. Get them to eat a pork sandwich, while drinking a small glass of wine, wearing a bathing suit, (males and females in public), petting a dog and a pig, listening to music, women hugging eight men who are not related to them, (at least two should be Jews), and then finally they have to draw a cartoon of Mohammed in a silly outfit and then burn 12 Korans! And if they do this everyday for a month, and keep affirming that Jesus IS the son of God and that Moses was his greatest prophet, that Mohammed was insane, stupid and listened to evil spirits, and should have been aborted before he was born, and Allah is Satan and everyone who worships either of them ends up in hell forever and ever, then let them in. Oh, and they have to read the Bible for two hours every day. A Christian should be able to do this with a smile on their face. And I know some Christians don’t drink wine, but they have to remember that Jesus’ first miracle was turning water into wine.

DISINFORMATION ALERT: Leftists love to imply that a “RELIGIOUS TEST” would self-evidently violate the U.S. constitution.
In fact, the prohibition concerns religious tests FOR POLITICAL OFFICE. Congress cannot require, e.g. that the President must be a Protestant, etc. (By way of background, note that under the British Act of Settlement, an heir to the throne may NOT be or marry a Catholic.)
Foreigners outside the U.S. have no comparable constitutional rights.
dumbledoresarmy says
It’s not that hard.
You get the *existing* Syrian Christian emigre communities, and the *Syrian Christian clergy* – e.g monks and nuns – to take part in the identification process.
Similarly, Christian organisations such as Barnabas Fund who have been working with Christian communities in situ for *decades* – something like thirty or forty years, i.e. long before the present mess exploded – and know who is who, who is related to who, who was baptised and confirmed where, which villages the Christians are from (there are *specific* suburbs, specific areas, that were predominantly Christian). People like Canon Andrew White, the ‘Vicar of Baghdad’. They know the names, they know the people, they know the *networks*, the families, that are Christian. They know the clergy and the religious houses. You get them involved.
You don’t even look in the UN-run camps. You go to the local churches in Lebanon and Jordan, notably; *they* are the ones who, with limited resources and the assistance of groups such as Barnbas Fund, are trying to look after the Christian refugees… who have either not bothered to try getting into the UN camps, which are dominated and generally run by Muslims, or who *tried*, but were *driven out* by the damn Muslims.
That’s how you find the Christians that need to be rescued. Google ‘Sister Hatune’.
And you go to the emigre Assyrian Christian communities in the west – in Canada, Australia, USA, for example – and you get *them* to sponsor their *relatives*. THEY are not going to sponsor some random Muslim who rocks up out of the blue, claiming to be a Christian. They’ve stayed in touch with their kin in the Old Country, and they want to bring them out and in some cases have been already trying desperately to do so.. and have been *blocked* at every turn by our Islamophile or Muslim-infiltrated bureaucracy.
What’s more, they would know which questions to ask, to weed out possible fakes.
Further layer of protection? – make it crystal clear that anyone who turns out to have been an imposter will be given the boot right back to point of origin, the *instant* the imposture is exposed.
Put everyone on probation, for a period of years, and make both permanent residency and citizenship a longer process.
The genuine people will happily accept all such conditions, and will jump through all the hoops, because they, none better, will understand your fear of being duped by mohammedans.
The non-genuine will kick up a stink.

Indeed – this is one of the key safeguards that was successively watered down by the migrant mongers in both parties.
Immigrants should also have several years with clean tax records, low welfare dependence before gradually gaining greater protections. Of course, any non-trivial criminal conviction gets the offender AND HIS FAMILY evicted after collectively indemnifying the victim.
This is harsh, but every applicant will have been ALLOWED to give a handwritten undertaking to accept all these terms. Ineligible applicants will not be ALLOWED to give such a drastic undertaking.
Kay says
Agreed!
Pastor C says
That is the crucial question. The ‘religious test’ is made infinitely more difficult because Muslims practice taquiya (permissible lying for the sake of Islam) with regularity and are encouraged and commanded to do so by the Koran.
Custos Custodum says
Of course, Muslims will engage in taqiyya (now “u”) and will receive extensive tutoring from ACLU “advocates” financed with tax-exempt donations by billionaires.
However, understanding Christian traditions and terminology (even at a popular level) and being able to give coherent answers to trivia questions could be quite challenging to semi-literates with their heads full of Quranic certainties.
Possible “shibboleths” are endless. “Give the full names of all cousins you know, oldest to youngest.” “Who was your 2nd grade teacher?” “Sing a Christian song you sang at Easter.”
Also remember that the U.S. government has copies of all citizen registration data in Third World countries. Tyrants tend to be rather diligent about registration of their subjects.

The MSM and the liberal globalist establishment in the US and in the West are very angry at President Trump for speaking the truth that Christians in the islamic world are the ones who need protection.

Why do you imagine that instead of the much more provable assumption that the MSM will oppose anything Trump says because it’s Trump saying it?
Custos Custodum says
Correct – totalitarians correctly see Christianity as an independent ideology that – whatever its faults – is incompatible with state totalitarianism.
This is why totalitarians – including many INSIDE established churches have been working for over 150 years to undermine and crush Christianity.
Totalitarian similarly detest President Trump because he similarly stands in the way of their – yes – creed. It is the creed that was and is the primary factor, not personal dislike of President Trump.
P.S.: Yes, I am aware of Christianblood’s Russophile proclivities and posting history, but when he is right, he is right.

an interviewer might ask questions about Holy Baptism, like have you been baptized? why? a muslim (slave to SHARIA) could say yes to the first, but likely would not know the answer to the second.
… ask about marriage, like: how may wives; how are wives to be treated
… ask about the END, like: what will Jesus do when he appears
there are many possibilities and could well reveal which “faith” anyone follows.

THOUGHT EXPERIMENT
Imagine that the U.S. had a large population of Catholics from Ontario, including many now working for ICE.
A new U.S. administration decides on a new policy – only Protestants from British Columbia are to be allowed in.
QUESTIONS
WHOM would you NOT entrust with the selection process?
HOW would you structure an interview process so as (1) Select eligible applicants; (2) RELIABLY exclude those not eligible; (3) prevent gaming of the system through ACLU training sessions for fake applicants, corruption within ICE, lawsuits facilitated by ambiguous evidence, etc.?
Once you have come up with a few approaches that satisfy (1), (2) and (3), we can adapt these approaches to the task of selecting Christians and other oppressed religious minorities (Yazidis, a few remaining Jews, etc.) from Syria, Iraq, the Yemen, Iran etc.
Will Doohan says

You are absolutely right. They should be prioritised.

Angemon says
UN refugee camps are mostly in muslim-majority nations and are mostly staffed by muslims. Why would muslims send a Christian to a safe place when they could send a coreligionist to further the cause of islam?
Let’s not fall into the MSM narrative here. The persecution of Christians escalated after the US interventions, but they were by no means citizens of equal rights as muslims. If not legally, at least culturally. And ISIS is the child of Saddam and Assad – the US intervention in Iraq may have sped up the process but the seeds had been planted and nurtured by the likes of Saddam and Assad, who only went after jihadi groups that openly opposed them while supporting groups that acted elsewhere. For example, a US court ruled the Syrian government of being responsible for the deaths of American citizens in Jordan, in 2005, because Syrian intelligence gave material help to Al-Qaeda, without which they could not have bombed hotels in Amman. Assad also allowed Syria to be used as a highway for jihadis who wanted to kill Americans in Iraq, including Syrian jihadis. What became of them after the Americans left? Well, chicken came home to roost. And let’s not forget how Assad willingly released battle-hardened jihadis, hoping they would come to fight him so he could play the “who do you prefer, me or terrorists?” card.
Phil Copson says
How separately have the Christians and Muslims lived in Syria and Iraq, Libya etc ?
Given the accounts of regular first cousin marriage etc amongst Muslims – which I haven’t read of amongst Christians – then wouldn’t a DNA test show a much more limited gene pool amongst Muslims than amongst Christians, Yazidi, Zoroastrians, and any Jews left there ?.
dumbledoresarmy says
Actually, what you’d probably find is a fair amount of evidence of gene flow from the Assyrian and Jewish and Yazidi gene pools, into the ‘Muslim’ gene pool, via the continual kidnapping, rape and forced ‘conversion’ of young girls from the dhimmi populations.
That sort of thing – *stealing* females from the dhimmi (these days, ‘de facto’ dhimmi) populations – is *rampant* in Islamic Egypt and Islamic Pakistan, and seems to have happened everywhere that Islam has become or is dominant.
So I’d assume that the Muslims haven’t totally imploded from in-breeding, simply because of *stealing* genetic ‘fresh blood’ from their captive Dhimmi populations. (Not to tmention all those hundreds of thousands of Circassian and other slave girls captured in raids and dragged off to the Dar al Islam, throughout history; in the Devshirme, Turkish Muslims seized not only the best of the boys, to be brutalised and Islamised and turned into ruthless janissaries, but *also* the prettiest of the girls, to be used and abused as sex slaves in the harems. Many of those girls were probably just raped to death and thrown out like garbage; many may have gone insane and been killed – as happened to one Assyrian Christian girl who fell into the hands of Islamic State, or refused to convert to Islam, and were killed; but some, broken to bits psychologically, submitted – at least outwardly – and some survived to bear the children of their brutal, sadistic mohammedan rapists). There would be Muslims in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Egypt, wherever, who are female-line descendants of long ago seized-and-raped Jewish or Christian girls.
Phil Copson says
Thanks, DD. Yes, “fresh blood in the family” from non-Muslim women was part of my thinking, but I don’t know how widespread it is as a percentage of the whole.
On the other side of the equation, whereas the Muslim majority may have incorporated a percentage of non-Muslim women over the years by whatever means, I assume that the local Christian, Jewish (where any still remain) and Yazidi communities have not inter-bred with the majority Muslim population to anything like the same extent, and may preserve a unique DNA record going back many centuries ?
In view of Nicolai Sennels and others’ work on the effects of centuries of Muslim first-cousin marriage, it would be interesting to know just how many of Syria, Iran and Iraq’s obviously skilled weapons-systems technologists and scientists are of a mixed background ?
Have read that Assad is from a Jewish background, for instance.
