In her short speech at the beginning of the rally, Yusra Khogali portrayed Canada as a country that was founded on genocide, racism and slavery….
Khogali — co-founder of Black Lives Matter, Toronto — has failed miserably to understand two very simple things:
- Islamic States were founded upon bloody conquest, and to this day, normative Islam remains a violator of human rights, especially women’s rights.
- Western nations have long ago abolished black slavery, have evolved and have seen blacks rise to the highest levels of society, while blacks are still deemed inferior by Arabs, and blacks are still being enslaved in Mauritania and Sudan.
If “white supremacy” was still as alive as Khogali exclaims, she would not be safely spewing this fatuousness. What’s more, little to nothing conclusive has actually come to light about the motive of the Quebec shooter, about which she speaks so confidently. Strange also that she is attacking Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who has bent over backwards to appease and accommodate Islamic supremacists. There’s just no pleasing some folks.
Khogali should be arrested for inciting violence. Violence has become the core of the Black Lives Matter movement, which has joined forces with jihadists. In 2015, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan called for murder of police in the name of Islam, and he invoked the Quran:
“Death is sweeter than to continue to live and bury our children, while white folks give the killer hamburgers.
“Death is sweeter, than watching us slaughter each other, to the joy of a 400-year-old enemy. Yes, death is sweeter.
“The Quran teaches persecution is worse than slaughter. Then it says, ‘Retaliation is prescribed in matters of the slain.’ Retaliation is a prescription from God, to calm the breast of those whose children have been slain.
“So if the federal government will not intercede in our affairs, then we must rise up and kill those who kill us. Stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling.”
He forgot to say that over 90% of blacks who are murdered are killed by other blacks, and that police have killed twice as many whites than blacks, even though blacks commit the highest percentage of violent crimes in the US.
Nihad Awad, the Executive Director of CAIR, has also urged Muslim Americans to take up the cause of Black Lives Matter.
“Toronto protest: Quebec Muslims murdered because Islam ‘challenges white supremacy violence'”, by Jonathan D. Halevi, CIJ News, February 5, 2017:
Yusra Khogali and Alexandria Williams, both co-founders of Black Lives Matter – Toronto (BLM TO) – the self proclaimed “coalition of Black Torontonians resisting anti-Black racism, state-sponsored violence and police brutality”, lead the protest on Saturday, February 4, 2017 against the policy of US President Donald Trump that took place in front of the American Consulate in Toronto.
In her short speech at the beginning of the rally, Yusra Khogali portrayed Canada as a country that was founded on genocide, racism and slavery implying that these policies are being implemented by the current federal government. She accused Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of being a “liar”, “hypocrite”, “white supremacist” and “terrorist”, advising the cheering crowd not be fooled by Trudeau’s “ liberal bullshit.”
Later, Khogali and Williams, who have recently received Toronto’s William P. Hubbard Award for Race Relations, induced the crowd of thousands into chanting repetitive militant messages:
No Muslim ban on stolen land!
No Muslim ban on stolen land!
No Muslim ban on stolen land!
No Muslim ban on stolen land!
No Muslim ban on stolen land!
No Muslim ban on stolen land! And what we gonna do?
Fight back! Fight back!
Say, what we gonna do?
Fight back! Fight back!
One more time. What we gonna do?
Fight back! Fight back!
What we gonna do?
Fight back! Fight back!
What we gonna do?
Fight back! Fight back!
What we gonna do?
Fight back! Fight back!
What we gonna do?
Fight back! Fight back!
What we gonna do?
Fight back! Fight back!Yusra Khogali took again the microphone and provided her own insights about the motivation behind the terrorist attack on Quebec City mosque on January 29, 2017. She claimed that Canadian Muslims are subject to a threat of being murdered as they live in a “white settler colonial state” and as a result of the war on Islam because “it directly challenges white supremacy violence.”
The following is Yusra Khogali’s speech:
That’s what we gonna do. We gonna rise up and fight back! Look at this crowd. Look at you. You are freedom fighters. You are on the right side of history.
You are here for justice, for love, for peace. That is what Islam is about. That is why there is a war on Islam, because of this. Because it directly challenges white supremacy violence. That is why they are in war with Islam.
What happened in Quebec City is so representative of it means to be a Muslim living in a white settler colonial state.
Everyday when we walk out in the streets we are under attack at all fronts. When we walk down the streets, when we go to school, when we go to our workplace, when we go to a mosque, in our sacred place of worship, we can be easily murdered. This is the reality of what it means to be a Muslim living a white supremacist state.
Muslimas [female Muslims], when you go in the subway and they attack you, they try to rip your hijab off, they are trying to take your dignity, your honor, your power, your self worth, your self respect.
But we will not let that happen! No! We will never let that happen! Ever! Because we are warriors. We are strong. We are powerful. we will not let that happen to us!
We will rise up and and what? [crowd: fight back!]. We will what? [crowd: fight back!]. We will what? [crowd: fight back!].
They say we pray for Quebec City. We say that, ok, we have to honor the names of those six men who died while praying to Allah, while giving the last breath to Allah, most merciful. We have to honor their names. Khaled Belkacemi, a professor who is married with three kids. Azzeddine Soufiane who is a business owner and a father of the community. Aboubaker Thabti, a parent and a husband. Abdelkrim Hassane, a father of three and a computer programmer. Mamadou Tanou Barry, a man with a family, with a gentle soul. Ibrahima Barry, a father with four kids……
