“The deportation was never arranged because the North Rhine-Westphalian authorities concluded that expulsion was unenforceable.”
This is a good indication of what’s wrong with the political establishment in Europe and North America. The expulsion of Amri should never even have been a question. It should have been understood as a national security issue.
“German politicians were warned that Berlin Christmas market attacker was plotting carnage NINE MONTHS before the massacre,” by Allan Hall, MailOnline, March 26, 2017:
Evidence has emerged in Germany that politicians were warned nine months before Berlin’s Christmas market massacre that Islamic State disciple Anis Amri was plotting carnage.
The State Criminal Office in North Rhine-Westphalia made Tunisian-born Amri’s lethal intentions known to authorities in March 2016.
But the bogus asylum seeker remained at large until December 19 when he hijacked a Polish lorry and drove it into a crowd of revelers in Berlin, killing 12 and injuring dozens more.
Amri, 24, fled across Europe to Milan, Italy, where he was shot dead by police five days later.
It was known that Amri had moved in and out of the radar of police and intelligence services during his time in Germany.
But now a letter has surfaced written in March last year to the ministry of the interior of the state parliament in Duesseldorf which stated: ‘Amri presents a threat in the form of a suicide attack. The commission of a terrorist attack by Amri is expected.’
The letter went on to suggest deporting him and contained evidence of a tapped phone conversation in he had in February in which Amri used the word ‘Dougma’ – a metaphor, say German spies, that Islamists use to mean a ‘suicide bombing’.
The deportation was never arranged because the North Rhine-Westphalian authorities concluded that expulsion was unenforceable.
And additionally, Amri claimed to have no passport and Germany could not send him home because Tunis denied he was a citizen until the day after the killings.
Even after the attack, regional Interior Minister Ralf Jäger several times said it was not ‘legally possible’ to order a deportation.
The new details are a further embarrassment to the government whose intelligence services are struggling to contain terror threats from Islamic fanatics who smuggled themselves into the country disguised as refugees….

In Italy the Minister of the interior controls the immediate ejection, for all suspected as amri, no judge or component may decide otherwise. Last year were expelled and accompanied in their countries 160 terrorists who were preparing attacks, therefore to the first alarm is what you need to do and not keep them as in the rest of Europe, in fact in Italy up to now there have been attacks.

This is so very sad. We know the bereaved are not past the Christmas market attack nor are many of the injured. My heart goes out to them all.
And to think it could have been averted!
Germans know how to do so many things right. You must be able to figure this out!
Again, I am holding the Press accountable. If the populace were regularly reminded of the efforts to heal by the victims of attacks of various sorts, their compassion would awaken their sense of justice.
We must stop protecting criminals and the philosophy that drives them!
DFD says
The Germans, just like the Americans, or other Europeans, would love to get rid of them. And they know how to do that.
But he usurpers of power will do **everything** to prevent that. And persecute you.
Of those powers, the press is only a part, a faction as well as fraction of it.
You said: “We must stop protecting criminals and the philosophy that drives them!”
Indeed so, but that means we must, **first of all** stop those who protect… But hat means the gov’s, and their various coalition partners. And their enablers and their supporters, that means NGOs and a rats tail of endless groups. BTW, count! None of those enablers in power have achieved or obtained a majority vote? They all rule by coalitions, count.
DFD says
PS: Getting rid of them? You are talking civil war. Even if the opposition parties win an outright majority (fat chance given the media bombardment) they wont change much. Because everything is undermined, infiltrated. Sorry, I know, “truther”, “conspiracy”, whatever – but it’s true.
Examples, Wilder was slanted for 29 seat, got 21. LePen, courts the “moderate Muslim majority”… and wants to (maybe or hopefully) ban the burka – hurray! The house is on fire, let’s put up ‘no smoking’ signs. Question is, will she win? Doesn’t look like it. AfD Germany, they are busy fighting among each other, Frauke Petry becomes more and more questionable. Even the German alternative media wonders what is going on with her and her husband, Pretzell. Because she said: “.. if that means we will lose the election, then I am willing to pay that price!” But she isn’t the party leader.
Now let’s assume they all win, magically. Then what? Take a look at the US, Trump: If “they” could, they’d try stall his breathing in the oval office and would make it subject to a senatorial inquiry. Take a look at what he has achieved so far, hmh… That’s right, between nothing and very little, he tries hard, as hard as he can, I assume. But the powers, the interest groups that are, are very deeply entrenched, at all levels. Same in Europe.
You want to turn things? Me too. BTW, to turn things means to revolve, a full turn is called a ‘revolution’.
Salute

I see it too. It’s very discouraging (and scary). I don’t know what to do.

RFD, if you think for one minute, that Germans or Brits, or French or any other civilized nations are going to sit by forever and let the political whores ruin their lives, and that of their kids, you are kidding yourself. There will come a time when a over throw of the corrupt whores will come, I just hope it comes before to long…………..The revolution will come from inside the homes of power, when the bloody savages start taking their power… Then you will see action.

Amen tot hat my friend!

typo! Sorry.
‘Was supposed to come out as:
Amen to that my friend!

Well if they did something like deportation the German govt. would have likely been accused of “racism” and “Islamophobia”. What’s a few dead and mangled bodies compared to demonstrating that you are tolerant and honor “diversity”. A small price to pay….
Santa Voorhees says
“Even after the attack, regional Interior Minister Ralf Jäger several times said it was not ‘legally possible’ to order a deportation.”
Oh sure, but to allow him to enter Germany in the first place, even knowing the threat he was posing, was perfectly legal…
And to make things worse, there may be many more like him, waiting to carry the next attack. Yes, because the question is not “if” anymore, but “when”… when there will be another attack? I give it 3-4 months from now.
This can change by stopping illegal immigration altogether and beginning some, or maybe mass deportations. But first, of course, the islamophile Left must go.
mortimer says
Hey Germany! The ‘truck of peace’ is coming your way! Whom do you think they’ll ‘bump into’ today?
Aren’t you glad so many Muslims know how to drive trucks?
Aren’t you sorry Germany restricts carrying firearms so YOU can’t fire back at the JIHADISTS?

Will any official lose their job over this? Politicians need to learn that there is a price to be paid for such negligence.

How many of the million or so of “refugees” that came last year have?

Then he should have been arrested and charged in a military court and then incarcerated up until the day he was deported.
The will to act has been killed off under Frau Merkel, replaced by bumbling and intentional ineptitude.
