Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Khizr Khan’s claim that his “travel privileges are being reviewed” by US authorities is unraveling

Mar 9, 2017 8:59 am By Robert Spencer

According to a hadith, Muhammad said, “War is deceit.” (Bukhari 4.52.268)

And the production of fake hate crimes, supposedly committed by “Islamophobes” and Trump supporters, and “Islamophobic” Trump supporters, is a growth industry.

So it is no surprise at all that this victimhood propagandist would fabricate a claim that he was being illegally prevented from leaving the country.

“Khizr Khan’s claim that the U.S. is restricting his travel may be unraveling,” by Max Bearak, Washington Post, March 7, 2017:

Khizr Khan, the Gold Star father whose impassioned speech at the Democratic National Convention in July called on Americans to reject a ban on Muslims entering the United States, claimed that his “travel privileges are being reviewed” by U.S. authorities, forcing him to cancel a scheduled speech in Toronto.

The announcement on Monday coincided with President Trump’s rewritten order to temporarily ban entry of citizens from six Muslim-majority nations to the United States. Khan has been a U.S. citizen for more than 30 years and was born in Pakistan, which is not one of the six nations.

Ramsay Talks, the organizer of the event Khan was to speak at, seemed to take Khan at his word on Monday and included a statement from him in a cancellation post on Facebook. “This turn of events is not just of deep concern to me but to all my fellow Americans who cherish our freedom to travel abroad,” said Khan, according to the post. “I have not been given any reason as to why. I am grateful for your support and look forward to visiting Toronto in the near future.”

The claim, which does not state which U.S. agency contacted him, immediately raised doubts about how it was possible that a U.S. citizen was being prevented from traveling abroad.

On Tuesday, Bob Ramsay, who runs Ramsay Talks, said he didn’t know the specifics of Khan’s predicament. “I don’t know exactly who conducted the review, but in speaking with Mr. Khan, it was certainly U.S. authorities,” Ramsay said. “That’s all I know.”

As questions about his motivations for making the claim swirl, Khan has refused to elaborate on his initial statement to The Washington Post and other publications. A more detailed request for clarification did not receive an immediate response Tuesday afternoon.

It is unclear whether Khan has previously traveled outside the United States since he was naturalized.

U.S. citizens don’t need visas to enter Canada, or even the electronic travel authorizations required of all other foreign visitors there. As a general rule, the United States cannot prevent passport-holding citizens from traveling if they have not been charged with a crime. Public records indicate that Khan has no criminal history, either at the federal level, in Charlottesville, where he lives, or in Silver Spring, his previous place of residence. Furthermore, U.S. Customs and Border Protection told Politico that, as a rule, it does not contact travelers before their trips.

The Canadian Foreign Ministry also denied issuing any review of Khan’s ability to travel there….

Perhaps Kahn can prove his point by attempting to cross the boarder into Canada from Detroit by car. He could bring a bunch of camera men and reporters. When he is told he can’t leave the US he can post the videos on YouTube.

He could probably get the entire city of Dearborn to riot over this for days.

So Kahn if you are not full of crap why don’t u do it????

Gotta march, protest, lie, complain, fabricate, burn, threaten, kill – whatever it takes to ensure that the “believers” rise to the top!

I’m confused…I really don’t care about him LEAVING our country to go to Canada or elsewhere…I would have reservations about him re-entering the US esp. if he went to an some Islamic cesspool country. I also don’t get why he hates Trump who wants to eradicate the Muslim maggots who killed his son. This guy is a stealth jihadist.

      Partiotliz:
You hit upon the State Dept.’s contention. It is precisely as you suggest, the returning after travel to an area where an Islamic war is in process or terrorism is prevalent. It would apply to any U.S. traveler returning to USA after a trip to such type countries.

        Exactly.

Let Khan and his remaining family travel back to Pakistan if they want, but they should be forbidden to set foot on our soil ever again.

Khizr Khan has proven to the world he puts his precious Islam above American freedom, he is more than welcome to stay in Pakistan.

“..avoid the uncleanness of the idols and avoid false words.” (Quran 22:30). Perhaps Presidenr Trump, to return the Constitution pamplet offer, could send Khan a copy of the Quran with this passage underlined.

Of course, that would just spark a riot over “Quran desecration” in some Islamic hell-hole.

Perhaps IT WAS NOT THE GOVERNMENT, BUT THE AIRLINE that gave him a problem.

(Guessing)-he tried to pay, and INADVERTENTLY (I know this happens, happened to me-my case- not an airline-, and a few relatives-were not careful) and tried to sue a credit (or debit) card that had just expired. And the airline rejected his ticket purchase- until he came up with a valid card.

However, since most credit and debit cards (American Express is the only major card that I can think of that is not) connected to banks, and banks are regulated by the government, hence it is the government’s fault.

That, or the entire story is b.s.

I believe Mr. Khan’s claim is being blown out of proportion by him to suit his agenda of increasing Muslim immigration without the type of vetting President Trump has insisted upon. Khan is a party to the Democrats, therefore he walks and talks Democrat policy.

I realize that he is a “Gold Star Father” predicated by his son’s death as a soldier and officer in U.S. forces who died doing his duty overseas. Therefore, his son made the ultimate sacrifice, but Khan (in my opinion) has seized upon that tragedy to be a spokesman for the political agendas of the Democrat Party, having given a speech at their convention, and waving a pocket copy of the U.S. Constitution to the TV cameras.

Had I lost a son who died for our country in a combat zone, I wouldn’t have taken the opportunity to represent Democrat Party political interests in their convention,as a featured speaker.
I believe Khizr is a political messenger for the Democrats, who are all for keeping America’s immigration wide-open. In this case, I think his son was a “Gold Star soldier” because he was apolitical and represented himself as an American soldier, no strings attached. Not so with the politician father.

As for Khan’s travel plans being under review, he is vague “to what extent.” He is active for Muslim immigration, the more the merrier for him!
I think he loses sight that his son was “his own man” and enlisted in the U.S. military, because he wanted to serve his country. But, that ought not give his father license to plunge himself into politics in the cause of easing Muslim immigration to the United States. However, politics were the father’s individual decision anyway.

As for Khan’s planned trip to Canada, the purpose of which is to give a speech concerning Muslim immigration to that nation, I doubt if the U.S. State Dept. would keep him from going to Canada, Americans or Canadians can come and go either direction between USA and Canada.
If his trip would be to any considered war zone of Islam, I do suppose the State Dept. could be negative to him concerning that kind of journey, as it would be to any other U.S. citizen. Haven’t we all been cautioned about travel to nations having civil unrest?
I think the man is becoming an alarmist as regards U.S. policy, perhaps if the government was Democrat-controlled we’d never have heard a peep from Mr. Khan..

Trump during campaign: “I’ll prevent muslims from entering the United States”.
President Trump: “I’ll place an moratorium on people from a few terrorist hot-bed countries from entering the US”
Khan: “US authorities don’t let me travel to Canada”.

Either Khan is lying or he was, in fact, barred from travel by US authorities. And, you know, from what I’ve seen so far, US authorities do tend to get things right when they prevent a citizen from travelling abroa. Amyone remembers this:

The purpose of Khan’s trip to Canada? – to spread the message of Islam: there is only one God. i.e. all religions are underneath it. And, btw, Islamophobes be damned. Nothing like using ‘peaceful dialogue’ to further an Islamist’s agenda. That is exactly how the Muslim Brotherhood operates; it uses Western freedoms against itself. The political correctness attacks the freedom of truth, and we see the rise of Islam.
