But, says UK Prime Minister Theresa May, he was a “peripheral” figure. There are so many such figures, they can’t possibly keep track of them all. And soon, courtesy her policies, there will be many more.
“Westminster attacker was British citizen known to authorities,” Sky News, March 23, 2017:
Eight are held after raids at six addresses in London and Birmingham as the PM insists the UK “will never waiver” to terrorism.
Theresa May has told Parliament that the Westminster attacker was a British citizen who was known to police and security services.
In a statement in the House of Commons, the Prime Minister said the attacker was a “peripheral” figure who had once been investigated by MI5 over concerns about violent extremism.
She said: “His identity is known to the police and MI5 and when operational considerations allow, he will be publicly identified.
“What I can confirm is that the man was British-born and that some years ago he was once investigated by MI5 in relation to concerns about violent extremism.
“He was a peripheral figure. The case is historic. He was not part of the current intelligence picture.
“There was no prior intelligence of his intent or of the plot.”
It comes after eight people were arrested during raids in London, Birmingham and elsewhere linked to the terror attack in Westminster….

Once again ordinary law abiding citizens are murdered and maimed in the name of islam,by a cowardly muslim terrorist while the polititions and burecrates are safe and out of harms way,not that i would want them to be harmed or put in danger, but why do they continue to legislate dangerous imigratuon policies that put the public in extreme danger.this nut cake was born in britain if he attended a certain mosque he was probably radicalized there. If these paces of worship are not regulated and with a pro islamic mayor they certainly wont be then these tragic events will continue.
Mirren10 says
*I* want them put in harms way. They are the architects and enablers of this whole shit storm. The people murdered yesterday were ordinary people, not politicians. People like Rudd and May are guarded 24/7; the bitch Sharia May was whisked away by her security team. Rudd has the same protection.
Until these scum are made to feel the same danger and horror that the rest of us have to contend with every time we step out our doors, nothing will change.
If May, or Rudd,, or *any* of the traitorous *bastards* had been harmed, yesterday, do you think we would be hearing the usual crap about ‘shared values’ and how this was a ‘perversion’ of a ,great religion” and all the rest of their vomit making bullshit ?
No. Until the architects and enablers of this monumentally evil and outrageous bullshit, are *made to bleed themselves*, then nothing will change.
Personally, I would *love* to see May, Rudd, and the rest of the traitorous scum, suffering, actually *suffering* the same anguish those poor people did yesterday. Instead of pontificating their pernicious blather about ‘tolerance’ and ‘shared values’, whilst scurrying away safely with their security details. Damn them to *hell*, and I hope they *rot* in it.
Angemon says
“Until these scum are made to feel the same danger and horror that the rest of us have to contend with every time we step out our doors, nothing will change.”
True that. On a tangent note, from what I can gather from the news, the murdered policeman was unarmed. My question is : why? Why would any policeman, let alone one guarding the Parliament in a country with an heightened terror alert status, be allowed to walk in the streets unarmed? Their very profession makes them a target, so what’s wrong in allowing them to defend themselves?
Phil Copson says
Somebody checking identities has his hands full doing that. You can’t reach for a gun in time to defend yourself against someone who is right next to you and already has a weapon in their hand. Whoever is the first in-line to check identities should be covered at all times by a second armed officer.
I don’t understand why anyone on security at the Houses of Parliament apparently wasn’t wearing a stab-proof vest though.
Plenty of British police officers are armed, by the way; airports and Christmas markets bristle with policemen toting sub-machine guns; my best mate from school-days is now an armed officer on the Royal Protection Squad.

Sounds almost exactly like Obamas talking points of never saying Islamic terrorists and instead of ridiculing Muslims for their lack of denouncement or assistance with eradication of them, he would tell us not to equate them to Islam and praise the Islamic religion. Well he did dupe far too many people who, by their kind hearted and trusting nature of belief in mankind’s instinctual honesty and kindness bought his deception unquestioned. There were a minority who had eventually realized how corrupt and deceitful he really is. Now it’s clear why he did this. To keep his agenda, or in his case a better name for this plot would be jihad, from being shut down or slowed down. The implanting of a camoflaged terminal disease called immigration. We citizens of the western world have been systematically deceived by our government for the last 15-20 yrs for the eventual goal to transform our
administrative systems in the free world to a new world order government, with the belief that this is the ultimate plan for social equality and betterment. The truth is that this would create a way to ensure the power brokers and elitist leaders to cement/insure continued control. Back to primary issue-topic. PROBLEM–Islamic terrorists, SOLUTION– 2 part, 1st = Immediate total shut down on entry(immigration) unless verified proof of unbroken birth to present citizenship/occupation/cultural affiliation..
2nd = Intense surveillance/investigation and research on mosques and aggressive prosecution/deportation.
Question,, if weather was very hot and humid for several weeks and you didn’t have screen doors but electricity was very expensive so you left doors open at night for a few days but when you got up each morning there were several snakes around the house, and some were poisonous. After a couple of days a neighbor stopped by and ended up getting bit and died. What’s the obvious solution?

As London Mayor Kahn said, ‘terror is part and parcel of living in a big city’. He should have added, AS LONG AS THERE ARE MUSLIMS IN THAT CITY.’ I still cannot believe Londoners, with all the evident Islamic supremacist push, would vote for a Muslim. Yes, I know, America voted for Obama, a communist/Islamist traitor. Same liberal nonsense.
As far as PM May goes, nope, we’ll keep letting those who would kill us, in for the deaths of terror attacks, don’t matter, but hey, we’ll keep Spencer and Geller out, for ‘community cohesion’ while we’ll allow those who shout ‘jihad’ and ‘Sharia’ in. grrrrr Oh right, that makes so much sense. Sarcasm intended.

John Burns says
The enemy is Islam. Not “radical”, “extremist”, “a perversion of”, or any other head-in-the-sand modifier.
It is Islam per se. Orthodox Islam – unchanged in 14 centuries. The politically correct are simply incapable of coming to gripes with that ugly fact. Pigs can’t fly and Muslims can’t live in peace with the civilized world.
Godwin says
That is very true. The British leaders refuse to admit it and kowtow to Islam.
RichardL says
Newspeak: lone wolf, not connected, self-radicalised, but on the periphery of jihad, 8 arrests in connection with the jihadi. And tomorrow: mosque was under surveillance, but it is a mosque that has nothing to do with islam, etc.p.p.
When the public realises how politicians get away with saying one thing and its opposite in the same sentence they will be very, very angry.
John Comnenus says
The authorities and mainstream press are always falling over themselves to announce that this or that terrorist was not connected to a major terrorist organization, was not receiving outside assistance or funding. A lone wolf, off the radar.
The message that they are desperately trying to convey is: “See? No Al Qaeda or ISIS here! No underground network of operatives working to undermine society! We’re keeping them out, we’re winning!””
But what the lone wolf narrative actually says is simply this: ANY Muslim is a potential terrorist, especially that calm and friendly one down the hall in your apartment complex. The one who always greets you, smiles at your kids and holds the door open for you when you hustle your brood into the building with groceries in both hands.
Time and time again liberals paint a picture of your everyday average guy, who just happens to be Muslim. Quiet, friendly, so unlike those AK-slinging nut-jobs in black hoods holding knives to people’s throats. Nothing like them bad guys, we can spot THOSE guys on the street from a mile away. Our guy was a solid citizen, one of the good Muslims, the REAL Muslims.
And then…Bam! Self-radicalization!
I could be wrong, but the lesson I’m learning from this lone-wolf scenario is: get rid of all of them, none of them can be trusted, and according to Liberals themselves, especially the ones you trust the most!

“No intelligence”…fools for the beast of islam. They bow to the beast by not acknowledging it as the source of the evil. They allow it to have an *image* of respectability.
There is “no intelligence” in allowing their collective minds to be controlled by satan’s beast.
Robert says
The MSM and leftist governments are feeding people ideological puke regarding these type of attacks, basically.
Most people who are being/were trained in the public school system of education do not understand the situation. Why? Because they don’t have the intellectual skills and the knowledge of the world which are a necessary prerequisite to reach a proper understanding of the situation.
The public school system has trained students, over the last 50 or 60 years, to think one way — and it’s a very narrowly defined, heavily politicized way of thinking. Students are to accept as fact certain propositional truths — the West is bad, the rest of the world is good; Christianity and Judaism are the oppressors, the other religions (especially Islam) are the oppressed; capitalism is evil, socialism is virtuous; people of white European and Jewish descent are guilty of multi-generational sins for which they must atone, people of colour are innocent of any and all sins and are owed our treasure; etc, etc.
It’s pure propaganda. And it’s designed to weaken the West from the inside-out. It’s intended to demoralize Westerners, especially those of white European descent, so that we lose the will to fight and defend our way of life.
The haters are winning. They’ve been winning now for two generations — or approximately 50-60 years. At first the victories they achieved were small, seemingly inconsequential. But over time, the wins accumulated, building in scope, magnitude, and momentum.
People who cherish Western civilization — its liberties, its economic wealth, its intellectual vitality, its technological sophistication, etc — have been poorly, poorly served by their elected political officials. Politicians have been failing the citizens of the Western nations with appalling regularity.
It’s tempting to say that these politicians are simply well-meaning but bumbling idiots who are trying their best in a fast-changing world. But the fact that politicians fail (and have been failing for years) at every critical juncture indicates a pattern of behaviour (and policy) that should alarm everyone who cares about the West.
How hard is it to govern our nations according to the rules that were established by our forefathers and enshrined in our national constitutions and systems of law?
Why have the judiciary branch of government in many/most Western nations continually pushed a legal agenda that is contrary to our Western values?
Why have educational academies in the West pushed ideology that contradicts Western values?
Why have news agencies in the West remained silent on events that should have been headline news. And why do the same news agencies cram other stories down our throats?
common sense says
BOOM. True and useful understanding of our history and system of justice is needed to be prepared for any eventuality. At least a rudimentary knowledge. It should be requirement not reluctance.

Quote 2: “We are not afraid and our resolve will never waver in the face of terrorism. And we meet here in the oldest of all parliaments because we know democracy and the values it entails will always prevail.”
Quote 3: “…and do you know what I did ? Nothing – I immediately did nothing!” – comedian Peter Cook from Pete’n’Dud sketch “Squatter and the Ant”

But, Ali Bey, you can bet your last pound if the driver’s name had been John Smith and he was a member of some right wing knuckle-dragger group his details would be all over the news by now.
Only muslims and islam get special treatment and a free pass in the name of ‘community cohesion,’ regardless of the crime. Raping children, mowing down adults, it does not matter. They’re protected, they’re the victims. It’s not their fault.
Most immigrants to the UK try blend in, and successive generations become more British than the previous. In other words, they integrate. With muslims its the other way around. The original migrants may, or may not, be grateful to be here. Their children and grandchildren hate us with a passion that only increases with the years, and they deliberately choose to live in their secluded ghettos.
‘Community cohesion’ will literally be the death of us.
