Will Nike offer stoning supplies for adulterous Muslimas? Will Nike offer a series of blades suitable for slitting the throats of Muslimas who dare not to wear the hijab? Will Nike offer Klan hoods for racist athletes?
“Nike Has A New Product For Muslim Women: The ‘Pro Hijab,’” by Zahraa Alkhalisi, CNN, March 7, 2017:
PHILADELPHIA (CNN) — Nike will soon begin selling a performance hijab for Muslim women athletes.
The head cover, called the “Nike Pro Hijab,” boasts a single-layer pull-on design made from lightweight polyester in dark, neutral colors. The fabric’s tiny holes will make it breathable while remaining opaque, a requirement for hijab-wearing women.
Nike said it began developing the hijab after some Muslim athletes complained about wearing a traditional head scarf during competition.
The design process took 13 months, and the final product will be available for sale in the company’s Spring 2018 season.
Nike said the hijab is already being worn by Emirati figure skater Zahra Lari.
“I was thrilled and a bit emotional to see Nike prototyping a Hijab,” Lari said in a statement. “I’ve tried so many different hijabs for performance, and … so few of them actually work for me. But once I put it on and took it for a spin on the ice, I was blown away by the fit and the light weight.”…

So she has to cover her hair and neck but the rest of her body is clad in skin-tight material???
Mockingjay says
Yeah it’s just ridiculous.
It’s “virtue signalling”, muslim style :
“Look at me, I’m a faithful and fanatical muslim(a), I wear a hijab !”
Isabellathecrusader says
But when I do a camel spin please look at my crotch.
Paskudni says
Wearing that outfit in Saudi Arabia would probably get you caned because it shows
the figure.
no_one says
Exactly my thought. One can see every detail of her legs, but her head is covered.
frederick King says
I noticed that. Strange culture. Will Nike market Burkinis next ?
wezneck says
Any negative comments for men in sports? Boxers who are almost naked?
Mockingjay says
– You’re not too bright, are you?
K says
My thoughts exactly! Also, koran demands modesty, not the hijab. The hijab is cultural. Either way a hijab with body defining cloths is a dichotomy.

I thought Islam forbade participation in sports??????

Gotta hand it to Nike: great business sense.
jihad3tracker says
FOR THOSE OF US WHO HAVE MOTIVATION & TIME: Tell managers in a local Nike-product mall store // OR // online purchase site // OR // corporate headquarters what your opinion of this marketing ploy is.
CORPORATE contact has the big advantage — regarding effective pushback — of copying and pasting Robert’s superb remarks, plus the addition of your own extra statement.
Assure Nike executives that any future purchases by you, family, friends, are canceled forever —there are other shoe companies to buy from, especially ones which understand that subjugation of women is essential in the sacred texts and teachings of Islam — AND THE LIFE OF ITS “PROPHET”.
Angemon says
Yup, gotta hit them where they feel it the most: their purse. I’m not going to burn my track suits and running shoes, but I will definitely look into any other brand when time comes to replace them. Might settle for Le Coq Sportif, depending on the results of the next elections in France…
Hari Singh says
Are they just addressing the changing European market and making adjustments.
Where is the feminist outcry?
This step reminds me of the totalitarian communist V. Lenin who said,”the capitalists will sell me the rope to hang them with.”
gravenimage says
Grimly spot on.
andra says
I could imagine that many former costumers of Nike won´t buy there anymore as they don´t want to Support the Islamisation of the West. So Nike will sell some hijabs until Sharia is Western law. By then women´s Sport will be forbidden because it´s haram and the Nike women section can close down forever. Very smart, Nike.

just lost one

…and another one.
I’ve Always been a Nike fan.
Not anymore.
I say: full boycott.
– PS: On offer: Nike T-shirts and other sports gear, multiple colours, good condition.
Frank Courtney says
I never buy clothing with the manufacturer’s visible name or logo on it.
If they want to use me as a mobile billboard they will have to pay me.
no_one says
Can’t boycott them. The last time I bought a Nike item was 6 or 7 years ago. I don’t even remember when that was.
Charli Main says
Some of these shameless companies, would sell their mothers for a few extra cents in the profit column.
Wellington says
“Merely” a variation of Lenin’s assessment that capitalists will even sell the rope that hangs them. Of course, Lenin thought that all capitalists had no morals but those that don’t engage in crony capitalism which Marx, Lenin, Stalin, et al. thought was the only capitalism that existed. But they were wrong about this, as they were about so much else. Capitalism, as with democracy, must be infused with a proper sense of morality, a sound ethical direction, or it quickly devolves into a sham version of itself, a crony version of itself, as with Nike here.
epistemology says
Anyway it’s nothing new. Nike once cancelled the selling of a pair of trainers that gave you the feeling of walking on air. Air was written on the heel in some arched font and the muzzies complained that Allah was written on the heel, what a blasphemous writing! Nike complied as usual.
You’re right, Westerners behave as if they are living in a sharia state.
Take care, my friend

Lets see what the Qatari-run Islamweb says about this:

Looks like its not allowed!
What now Nike?

Thanks, very helpful. They summarize:
“We have already issued fatwas 5810 and 82398 highlighting that it is forbidden to wear clothing that bears the Nike logo because it is the name of one of the Greek gods; thus, it represents a polytheistic symbol; so please refer to the above fatwas.”
LOL

Whatsizface, great post! ? Hilariously appropriate bit of news for Muslim-appeaser Nike! Kinda brings a tear to your eye, doesn’t it … ? How do you say “oops” in Arabic?

If only this initiative could help women from Muslim countries get involved in sports …
But the woman on the photo is wearing tight fitting clothes, is that acceptable to Muslims???
mortimer says
Many Muslim women pass out during athletic exertions from wearing a head cover that doesn’t allow them to lose heart from their face, neck and scalp.
The hijab puts women athletes AT RISK of heart attack and fainting.
mortimer says
Correction: hijab “doesn’t allow them to lose HEAT from their face, neck and scalp.
Westman says
What’s next? Black Spandex Burqa for the Muslima soccer teams? Uhhh… there are professional Muslima soccer teams? And it would only be fair to require all Olympic women swimmers to wear a speedo Abaya.
Such nononsense, none of these companies will make a profit on Muslima sports wear. This is nothing more than retaining Muslim men as customers while putting on a good SJW show for feminists.

Will pastafarians get a special Nike performance colander too?

I AM SICK OF THOSE BLACK CLOUDS APPEARING ALMOST EVERYWHERE NOW IN AMERICA.

Nike will progress to burka im sure
at some point true islamists will decry
this and start offing heads
Ed Lee says
When I see a company with the size, reach, and reputation of Nike embracing Islam, I fear we are fighting a losing battle. How many other major clothing brands will follow Nike’s lead? If we see competing products from other companies such as Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, American Eagle Outfitters, Columbia Sportswear, PVH, Under Armour, Lululemon Athletica (just to name a few), the struggle against jihad will have become a lot more uphill. A Google search on “retail clothing hijab” yields 948,000 results. One on the listings on the first page is Amazon. None of the brands listed above, shows up; yet.
marina says
A Muslima figure skater should not be performing in a burka. She has to wear some kind of tight clothing. And all male eyes will be on her. Is that even allowed in pisslam!!

Boycotted Nike just now.
Will Nike make a Judo Gui with a Crusader cross on it? No probably not, if they did I’d buy it.

Remember from 2009 when what’s his face said he was there to insure that women could freely wear the “…..” ?
What about the women who wish to be free not to wear it? What about every non-moslim who wishes to go places and see things without seeing moslim women wearing it?
Why couldn’t moslim skaters and skiers just wear a ski mask? Much like the bank robbers and burglars want to remain anon. After all, the purpose is to rob people of freedom.
utis says
The really galling thing is that once Islam rules the roost, the imams will start demanding the bitches get out of sports, competitive or otherwise, and get back to the kitchens and bedrooms. There will be no women’s Olympics (hell, there will be no Greek-inspired Olympics), there will be no women’s sports at all.

So true, Utis.

Hey now, it’s Muslim chic, all the cool kids are doing it. Virtue signaling is all the rage. Don’t say you don’t like it – that’d be racist!
Nike and Facebook will sell out their culture for a nickel.

“Will Nike offer Klan hoods for racist athletes?” Very appropriate question, since Muhammad was just as racist as the KKK.
Pandit Technology says
This is absolute nonsense. So the females can now be told by male relatives that even Nike think’s hijab is allright…so just shut up and DO IT….nice of nike, NOT…yeah dollars speaks I guess, so boycotting NIKE henceforth… The most stupid are the fanatical ISLAMIC WOMEN believers They are themselves agreeing to be less equal to men, can have their daughters married off to real old men, etc etc….There is a reason why Islam is so fragile ..permits no thinking…it simply makes my head spin ( and yeah it would have been off too, if I was in “pure” Islamic state) as to the level of nonsense that Koran prescribes and it’s faithful follow, without thinking……Thank you for highlighting and yes, from now onwards boycotting companies who are overtely sensitive to fanatics, as they are not sensitive to me or my freedom. My own small fight.Oh yeah,,, today we are celebrating women day…empowering them…NOT
Osman says
Why any women wearing veil will want to play sports anyhow?

They sell advanced technologies, softwares and hardwarea to Islamic rulers of Iran, assisting them with their oppression. They just see the money they cannot see the time their children will be stoned to deth or beheaded by a Muslim executor.
Believe me!
I am living under an Islamic oppressin.
I am afraid if you don’t get what the real Islam is, you will experience what I have experienced.

logi says
It’s comical that Nike would make a sports hijab but they would never market or make an undergarment for specifically for Mormon athletes, Buddists or any other religious group that had specific rules for what men or women must wear. I think most intelligent people can see through this as sheer marketing and an effort to take people’s eyes off the steep fiscal issues they are facing by using controversy as a headline-grabbing distraction. How can you advocate women’s rights and equality with a product that caters to religious oppression of women’s rights?
