The Islamic Republic of Pakistan is moving to enforce stricter adherence to the Sharia. The extra marks for wearing hijab is an unusual positive reinforcement; usually where Muslims wish to enforce this “modesty” rule, they do so with negative reinforcement, beating, brutalizing, even killing girls and women who don’t wear the hijab.
“Pakistani Girls Given Extra Marks At School For Wearing Hijab,” Westmonster (thanks to The Religion of Peace), March 14, 2017:
In a sign of the extent of control that some in the Pakistani authorities seek to exert over young women, girls in government schools in the Punjab province will receive extra marks for covering themselves up with the hijab.
Five extra marks will be dished out to young females who comply in an effort to promote ‘hijab-culture’ in Punjab.
Some are rightfully asking what the hell wearing religious dress has to do with academic attainment.
It is also reported that all teachers in government institutions are now forced to narrate a Haddith [sic] – traditions containing sayings from the Prophet Mohammed – before they begin class….
