Robert Spencer Video: Why Trump is Wise to Refer to “Radical Islamic Terrorism”

Mar 15, 2017 1:10 pm By Robert Spencer

In this new video, I explain why President Trump’s references to “radical Islamic terrorism” are a welcome departure from the denial and willful ignorance of the Obama era.

Of course it is wise. The only people who do not think that is wise are liberals hell bent to make sure everything is nicey nicy.M

I do not think it wise and I am a Goldwaterite of long standing. Denial is unwise and prefixing ‘radical’ to Islam is denial.

Those who believe in hair pie in the sky after they die must be sent to collect it. Those who doubt or are uncertain must be induced to apostacize. We need a ministry of propaganda to make the Ummah ashaimed of being affiliated with Satan as his slaves. We need a President who will call evil by its right name: Islam, without adjectives or qualifiers.

        YOU’RE RIGHT !

I agree. What’s evil about Islam is not a subset of Islam. What’s evil about Islam is all of it.

And it’s even misleading to call Islam a religion. It would be more accurate to call Islam a Demonology, or call Islam a form of Satanism.

This is an excellent video and I particularly liked the part about the apparent belief of Obama that using the term Radical Islamic Terrorism would cause moderate Muslims to become so enraged that they would become terrorists. A similar belief was Hillary Clinton’s statement that banning Muslims would create more Muslim terrorists. Think about it. If that’s true, it’s a very strong argument for banning Muslims

Which Muslim do you know of that like to use radical Islam? m

To the kind of religion inspired terrorism of September 11, 2001 and the London, Madrid train bombing .Likewise the Bali night club bombing and the Fort Hood, Orlando and San Bernardino shootings and Paris and Brussels jihad massacres “Radical Islamic terrorism’ is ,very much, keeping within the bonds of reality and plainly calling things and events for what they really and truly are . This is the right and the honest and good thing to do.
Furthermore, what is called “Radical Islamic Terrorism” , is very much based on religion. The religion of Islam For Islam’s “holy book” the Qur ‘an [the Koran] instructs on the use of violence and killing for the advancement of Islam. As found in ,for example 2:191. 4:89. 5:33. 9:5,111,123. 47:4. Furthermore, it may be illustrated that if Islam is represented as a tree then the fruits then the fruits of that tree are the many brutal, violent and deadly jihad terror entities. Such as ISIS, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, al Shabaab , Hamas, Hezbollah, P.I.J. etc. With this statement, the Wisdom of the teachings of Jesus may, very much, apply to this subject. For Jesus taught “Ye do know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.” After saying this Jesus told them what He told them when He said “By their fruit ye shall know them.” Matthew 7:16, 17, 18,.20. [K.J.V.] In conclusion, Islam is a corrupt tree and also a false religion, Proverbs 14:12. John 14:6. First John 2:22,23. 4:14,15. 5:12,13,20.

It should just be Islamic Terrorism. The “radical” is redundant.

It is simply Islam, the ‘terrorism’ is redundant. Islam entails terrorism; its practice is incomplete & imperfect without it.

The term “radical Islam” falsely infers that a kinder, gentler version exists. In truth, there is Islam. Some Muslims try to comply with Qur’an and sunnah to the letter (think Islamic State).. Most don’t. Many Muslim refugees–maybe the majority–are fleeing devout Muslims.

At a minimum, those who use the term “radical Islamic terrorism” should be able to explain how that differs from the regular version (which they cannot do). I’m not sure why President Trump uses the “radical Islamic Terrorism” line. Does he believe “radical Islamic terrorism” accurately defines the problem? Why doesn’t he say Muslim terrorists, instead?

I know Robert Spencer used the term “Islamic Jihad” in the video, but is jihad a component of other religions?

“I know Robert Spencer used the term “Islamic Jihad” in the video, but is jihad a component of other religions?”

      Short answer: NO.

President Trump spews “radical Islamic terrorism” ‘cuz he is a politician and a liar. He has “Muslim friends who are wonderful people”; he does not want to alienate them. Politicians want votes, including Muslim votes. Politicians can not lead the Crusade ‘cuzza that internal conflict.

      • maghan says

        Mar 16, 2017 at 3:38 am

But “radical” would mean “pertaining” to “basic roots”. “Radical Islamic terrorism” would mean then “terrorism that springs from the fundamental roots of Islam”.

The issue is that most Muslims are just individuals who superficially wash certain parts of their bodies daily before banging their dumb heads on the hard ground pandering to some primitive Moon god. They are not thinkers and have little idea of the full contents of the Islamic trilogy.

Thus a distinction should be made between superficial Islam–as practiced by the dumb fools who adhere to the religion–and Islamic doctrine in practice. The best example of radical Islam in practice is neo-Caliph Abubakar Al-Bagdhadi of ISIS. He operates from the roots of Islam

Never peace, always wars in the islamic world. Growing worth despite financial, medical, military help for decades in order to develope. For how long? Forever? They just get support seemingly without responsibilities. Financing their wars with the support they get?
There must be an end to it. The governments in the islamic world having the full responsibility. Have to organize themselves and cooperate better against terrorists and terrorism.
Must separate themselves from islam. They are only thinking of islam and of others to respect islam and to build more and more mosques in the Western World. Can not go on.
Islam must be stopped from growing in U.S.A. as well as in all the not islamic world. A shame islam has grown in the western world.
Good with a government in U.S.A. acknowlidging the problem. Worthy of full support.

A noble, necessary and gargantuan undertaking.

A struggle for the safety and sanity of humanity across the entire world.

President Trump: “We’ll unite the civilized world against radical islamic terrorism which we’ll eradicate completely from the face of the earth

Feckless “elected” “leaders”: “We see what is happening in the Middle East … where terrorists from the so-called Islamic State are compromising a great world religion, compromising Islam, sowing hatred, killing people, including clergy, and barbarically destroying monuments of world culture. Their ideology is built on lies and blatant distortions of Islam. It is important to educate Muslim youth in traditional Islamic values and prevent attempts to impose on us world outlooks that are alien to us and have nothing to do with genuine Islam.”

Stop playing word games… I tried to find ‘radical’ Islam in the phone book…no luck…Seems like Islam only has one name…Islam…If America wants safety from Islamic terrorism…Banning Islam is the only way to do it…Otherwise peaceful Muslims may kill you…
