Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Turkish Foreign Minister: “Religion wars will soon begin in Europe”

Mar 16, 2017 10:44 am By Robert Spencer

Çavuşoğlu may well be right. But if “religion wars” do indeed break out in Europe, it won’t be because of the “far-right.”

“Turkish FM warns of ‘religion wars’ in Europe in remarks on Dutch elections,” Hürriyet Daily News, March 16, 2017:

Europe will soon be the site of “religion wars,” Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on March 16, in Ankara’s first comment on the general elections in the Netherlands that saw the victory of Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s Liberal VVD.

“Now the election is over in the Netherlands … When you look at the many parties you see there is no difference between the social democrats and fascist [Geert] Wilders. All have the same mentality. Where will you go? Where are you taking Europe? You have begun to collapse Europe. You are dragging Europe into the abyss. Religion wars will soon begin in Europe,” Çavuşoğlu said.

“Because they were of different faiths, they killed each other 100 years ago,” he said, without elaborating further on what he was referring to.

“But they learned a lesson from this and the European Union, the Council of Europe was set up,” he added….

The majority of Europeans have no religion. The educational system has wiped out their history and nationalities. They have been taught group think. They think whatever their educational system and media tell them.
The left in the U.S. are attempting to do the same and have been quite successful in some areas, especially in our colleges. We are at a cross road. We are looking at a civil war of a different sort than the last one. How it will be fought I do not know but its going to be ugly.

Turkey has a freedom scale of 38/100 … very low. And this man has the audacity to call others ‘FASCIST’ !! It would be amusing if not so tragic that Muslims are like vampires who cannot see themselves in the mirror.

Islam comes from Mohammed: “I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight the people until they proclaim, `None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’. Whoever said it, then he will save his life and property from me.”

Islam comes to conquer, plunder, rape and enslave. MUSLIMS START THE WARS with free people.

That “fascist” name calling business is getting rather annoying because it has lost all neaning and has become a “word bomb” like islamophobia.

To find the real meaning one must go back to its origin – Benito Mussolini and his three principles:

Everything in the state, nothing outside the state, and nothing against the state.

Replace “the state” with “Islam” and the mask falls away.

He also said that Europe has to be nice and beg Turkey to not ask the “2 bn members of the ummah” not to start a war on Europe.

The Dutch FM, probably on orders from turncoat Rutte, said she wants to have better relations with Turkey.

islam declares war and the west ignores it. Treason of the worst sort.

When Phillip of Macedon took over all of Greece, the Greeks were busy debating how he could have done it so quickly and easily. Demosthenes summed it up in four words: “Greece talked. Phillip acted.” That is the West with the Muslims.

“Because they were of different faiths, they killed each other one hundred years ago.”

Uh, this guy needs a history lesson. The last religious war in Europe was the Thirty Years War (and even this war was religious only in part). After the Peace of Westphalia of 1648 which ended that war, bad feelings remained between Protestants and Catholics and Protestants continued to go after one another for not being the right kind of Protestant (e.g., in England Anglicans restricting Protestant non-conformists) but entire religious wars were no longer fought. A century and a third after the Protestant Reformation began in 1517 Europeans had come to the conclusion that fighting religious wars were counter-productive and gave up on this, contra the Islamic world which is fighting religious wars to this very day and thus proving yet again that the West can learn but the Islamic world cannot.

Rich too is a Turk talking about religious wars within the last century considering what the Turks did to the Armenians during WWI, to a significant degree because the Armenians were Christian and the Turks Muslim. Yeah, very rich.

    • Westman says

      Mar 16, 2017 at 12:33 pm

Rich, indeed! When the Europeans are forced to fight Islam it won’t be a religious war on their part. They will be fighting against religion on behalf of freedom and self-determination. As you indicated, only Islam hasn’t learned the futility of war in the name of religion.

    • Stan Lee says

      Mar 16, 2017 at 1:13 pm

As I recall WW2, because I was too young for military service in my country, but old enough to remember the facts as they happened. The religious war that took place in Europe was a one-way war against an unarmed people marked by the Nazis for mass extinction….the Jews of Europe. That was one helluva war, the Nazis and their allies were the great conquerors of a people who had no means to resist Hitler’s legions except for a few Jewish partisans that formed units in Eastern Europe after most of them received the deaths that the Nazis had planned for them.
This is WW2 in Europe through the eyes of the Turkish Foreign Minister, who would not believe the real events in Europe, because he has accepted the Turkish version.

Now….I hope that the unconscious EU and NATO will finally understand that Turkey could never be a trustworthy ally. This Foreign Minister has a very “foreign” concept of what took place in the war in Europe. He sees Europe strictly as a battleground between the religions of Christianity and the Muslims. People of Europe should take into account that inroads made by Muslims in the EU’s various countries have been done by taking advantage of the EU’s own rules and regulations, mixed with a great amount of EU lack of reality. It didn’t know a threat to its many people(mostly non-Muslim) and countries, when that threat was thrust before the EU’s eyes. It is an organization that needs to be rejected for national sovereignty to be revived by all Euro nations. Each nation will regain self-respect which can engender respect for each other..

The only war that really took place in Europe was the Nazi tide being reversed by USSR after the Nazis has penetrated to 20 miles west of Moscow, had surrounded St. Petersburg for 1000 days, and the oil fields of south USSR were practically captured (but not!) by the Nazis, until the Soviet bull-dozer gave the Nazis as much or more than was heaped upon them. By then, over twenty million Soviet people, military and civilian, has perished in defense of their Motherland.

Apparently, little can be done by the gross stupidity of the German leader, Merkel. She alone has invited to Europe a mass infestation of Turk Muslims plus other Muslims (Arabs), which now starts to identify itself as a growing Turkish-Muslim colony in the heart of Germany. Merkel should no longer be tolerated with her lunacy of multi-culturalism. Multiculturalism with Islam is a one-way street, it eats away any land it enters if allowed freedom to act, and Germany, under Merkel and her political idiots have given Islam “enough rope to hang itself,” but Islam instead surprised Germany by using the rope given to it to hang Germany.

There must have been hundreds of warnings given to Germany which have been discarded as “inflamatory.”
What is inflamatory is the example Germany set for itself and Europe which can result in war in each homeland, because the EU has been so blind to reality. Anyone, please….can you actually believe that the EU can manage a war that is possible to happen, unless the whole of western Europe is surrendered to Islam?

      • Wellington says

        Mar 16, 2017 at 2:40 pm

Well, if this Turk thinks as you laid out, he is even more in need of a history lesson than I thought. The Nazis went after all Jews, regardless of whether they were religious. As so many know, many Jews back in the WWII era, as now, were not religious in the least. It’s not as though the Nazis only went after religious Jews and left the non-religious Jews alone. The assault against the Jews was primarily racial and ethnic, not religious. It’s true that Hitler hated Judaism and Christianity, as his Table Talk makes crystal clear (rather admired Islam though which is telling), and that he had many priests and ministers killed, but to look upon WWII as some kind of religious war makes little sense. I suppose it had a religious component but it’s not as though the two sides in the war were fighting first and foremost, or even secondarily, for religious causes with the intention of wiping out the other’s religion.

        • Wellington says

          Mar 16, 2017 at 5:33 pm

Why, Andrew Sullivan, would WWII have been seen as religious in Turkey?

Every sentence you wrote beginning with “With” in no way whatsoever validates Turkey seeing WWII as a religious war. You go on about the “Russians to the East, the Royal Navy to the West,” blah, blah, blah, and with the rest of your comment even making less sense.

          Please explain.

        • gravenimage says

          Mar 16, 2017 at 9:31 pm

Andrew, Turkey was officially neutral during most of WWII. As a technicality, they entered the war on the side of the Allies very late in the war once it was clear that they were going to win. But apart from being the setting for a bit of espionage, Turkey was not a factor in the war at all.

And the Turks did not need Nazis to round up Jews–there were only about 60,000 left there by WWII. A few Turkish Jews did die in the concentration camps, but there was no Nazi round up of Jews there.

There are just about 17,000 Jews remaining in Turkey now.

Oh, *good grief*, Tom. Right now, Germany is experiencing a tsunami of mass rape and violent Jihad. The idea that those responsible are “robbers from bulgaria and romania” is ridiculous.

“Germany: Over 400 police, raid, search, and close mosque that was recruiting for the Islamic State”

          https://www.jihadwatch.org/2017/03/germany-over-400-police-raid-search-and-close-mosque-that-was-recruiting-for-the-islamic-state

Are these robbers from Bulgaria and Romania?

          How about this:

“Germany: Muslim migrants committing numerous rapes and assaults of women in and around refugee centers”

          https://www.jihadwatch.org/2016/11/germany-muslim-migrants-committing-numerous-rapes-and-assaults-of-women-in-and-around-refugee-centers

I could post hundred of stories about Muslims savaging Germans here–how can this not be a problem?

And the idea that Turks specifically are “actually OK” is also mistaken–over half of Muslim Turks in Germany believe that when there is a conflict between Shari’ah and civilized German law, that Shari’ah should be imposed.

Almost half–47%–say that “following the tenets of my religion is more important to me than the laws of the land in which I live”. A third of respondents agreed that “Muslims should strive to return to a societal order like that in the time of Mohammed.” Over a third said “only Islam is able to solve the problems of our times”. 20% openly said, “the threat which the West poses to Islam justifies violence”. Three-quarters said, 73% of respondents agreed that “books and movies that attack religion and offend the feelings of deeply religious people should be banned by law”.

These are findings from “Integration and Religion from the Viewpoint of Ethnic Turks in Germany” (Integration und Religion aus der Sicht von Türkeistämmigen in Deutschland), a study by the Religion and Politics department of the University of Münster.

          Dear Stan Lee:
Actually, the German response to the Jews was the discovery that some Jews had made an agreement with Britain and France that, in exchange for their help to defeat Germany in World War I, the Jews would be given a homeland from the Turkish Arab lands in the Middle East. It’s easy to give away someone else’s property! Of course very few Jews knew about this, but all were blamed when the German people found out. The Germans could not understand how their country surrendered with their troops still on foreign soil. So they turned on innocent Jews as ‘traitors’. Remember, Germany had signed the Treaty of Versailles on the understanding it was only to be “temporary”, and that something ‘equitable’ would be devised later. Of course, it never was and a now-disarmed Germany lost it navy and merchant marine, its gold reserves, around 300,000 square miles of its African colonies and about a third of its country. And the starving German people were supposed to continue paying reparations for World War I into the 1980s! All this got blamed on innocent Jews. Then, when Israel was actually established by Jews after World War II, Islam was revitalized into a war of hatred for the West which continues to expand to this day, and will until they are stopped – If they can now be stopped by a politically correct West. Perhaps the main reason Germans recently invited in the Muslims (as the Britons centuries earlier invited in the Saxons, then promptly lost almost the entire island to them) was for workers, and then could do nothing to control either the Muslims, nor their legalized invasion, out of fear of being called Nazis. Being part Cherokee and Choctaw, I can say: Indians had bad immigration laws!

The Netherland’s 9 million people will, “collapse Europe….. dragging Europe into the abyss”? To say that with a straight face requires real chutzpah!

We should thank Turkey for recently waking up the quiescent Dutch to reality when Erdogan simply considered the Netherlands to be another of his states in which he could campaign at will. Rutte must be thinking that, “Wilders isn’t quite as crazy as I thought….”

Imagine what the Dutch must be thinking while watching ethnic Turks waving Turkey’s flag and screaming at them – inside the Netherlands. Some were even Dutch “citizens”. Saudia Arabia would take action if this happened to them. In the Netherlands, in the past – blahhh, nothing to see here. Now?

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is correct in assuming that ultimately, “Europe will …. be the site of “religion wars..”. However it will be caused by Islamists who can’t stop harassing the Europeans with Dawa, forbidding, and Shariah – essentially trying to curtail freedom and rule over them.

“We should thank Turkey for recently waking up the quiescent Dutch to reality… ”

      – Not so much.

      – Erdogan is seen as “just another dictator” – NOT as an islamist.

      – You wouldn’t believe how clueless people are about this – it is actually the only reason why ALL political parties in The Netherlands (as well as in Germany and in the greater Europe) stood so united in condemning Erdogan.

-They – and especially the Leftists – ONLY did so because they NEVER even MENTION the word “islam” in connection with Erdogan. Never. It’s also not mentioned in the news, in the papers, never. Erdogan is just an ordinary power-hungry dictator, “like Putin”. Especially German satirical shows on tv LOVE to make that comparison. “Look at the way those two behave, they’re just like twins!”

      – You wouldn’t believe the responses you get from Leftists if you tell them it’s all about islam with Erdogan.

      – So no, the Dutch haven’t exactly awakened to the truth.

The problem isn’t just the Turks, as terrible as they may be. The Kurds we are supposed to feel so sorry for today did things to the helpless Armenians that made Turkish soldiers sick to their stomachs. Women and children threw themselves over cliffs in suicide to avoid them. Traditionally, the Turks exacted a tax from kafir towns of Christian little boys who were castrated and made janissaries in the Turkish army. Because of Islam, three ties as many slaves were taken out of Europe into Islamic Africa than were taken out of Africa to Europe and The United states. Anyone with half a mind knows that Muslims in a Christian country are like a suicide pill. That is why Spain forced them to leave five centuries ago. That didn’t end it. I understand Morocco has a petition before the United Nations demanding the return of the Iberian Peninsula.(Spain and Portugal). As has been mentioned above, a “good” Muslim knows he is required to convert or kill all non-Muslims. So those we would consider “good” Muslims are really bad Muslims and those we consider “bad” Muslims are really good Muslims. EmHotep, you make an excellent point about many Turks thinking they are Muslims, even though they have no idea what that faith is. That may spring from the Koran’s “Say not that ye believe. Say rather that ye submit.” They are effectively forcing Europeans to submit to their rules even now. I understand that in Scotland butchers can no longer traditionally display a pig’s head in their windows.

The only thing going on 100 years ago is that Çavuşoğlu’s fellow Muslim Turks were mass-murdering over a million Christians in the Armenian Genocide.

The way I understand this is, submit to Islam or fight and if you choose to fight we’ll call you extremists and it will be all your fault.
Geert was forced to become “extreme right”. If there weren’t Nazis there wouldn’t be resistance.

What this idiot Turk says is true Religious war is already going on in Europe Middle East and North Africa right? Islam is winning as far as I can see. So what to discuss.

Civil war is underway here in USA thanks to liberal idiots fighting against everything Trumps says and does. In this turmoil, I would say Jihad continues and Islam keeps on winning all over.

Religious war is just intensifying that is all.

Unfortunately, yes, I´m convinced that hard(er) times are ahead of us. Will it be war? I don´t know, but dark clouds are again on the horizon. Thank you, liberal bastards.

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu remarks are very annoying. Islam where it we find it is intolerable. Turkey is 99% Muslim because it pressurizes its folks to behave Islamically. Refer to Malaysia a seemingly progressive Muslim country who got a fit this week because Christians dared to proselytize Muslims. Christians may not speak of their religion but Muslims are allowed to build Mosques by the 100’s in the West(they even wanted to raise a shrine on the 9\11 massacre dedicated to their success). This is an unfair situation even our own leaders, Obama, Merkel, Hollande, Rutte and so on have turned a blind eye to Islam’s disrespect for the West and its so-called Christian values. Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu may be right a religious war is fomenting, but it will be one initiated by Muslims. There is no General Charles Martel insight but we have a few brave souls trying the best, Geert Wilders is being vilified by the media for turning its attention to the enemy within(and without)

Turkey is one of the few nations where Christians and Jews are not persecuted. The others are Somalia, and Saudi Arabia.

You obviously ave not read that Turkey has been destroying Christian Churches, Islamic prayers are again been said in the Hagia Sophia. Yup. In Constantinople (Istanbul) there are touristy Jewish and Christian communities living in peace, that is not the rest of Turkey.

In case you missed to facts.

“Today, Turkey has less Christians as a percentage of its population than any of its neighbors — less than Syria, Iraq and Iran. The greatest cause of this was the Assyrian, Armenian and Greek slaughters or genocides between 1915 and 1923.

April 2016: Islamist Turkey seizes ALL Christian churches in city and declares them ‘state property’.

She told PJ Media: “What’s happening in southern Turkey is all too typical in the Middle East today, as ancient Christian communities are displaced and persecuted by sectarian violence.

Spreading Christianity is a crime in Turkey, Jews are accepted as apes. You are either muslim or rubbish here. The current government and erdogan are the ISIS supporters and protectors. We have around 4000 isis cells in Turkey. Now they are planning to open the St.Sophia (Hagia Sophia-Ayasofya) Cathedral as a mosque for erdogan followers.

Somalia and Saudi are hell for the non muslims. These countries are working for ISIS.

Good. Bring it on, the sooner the better. And we get a 2-fer when the “Progressive” Snowflakes join the Muslims and we can take them out too. The time is now.
