Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Boeing signs $3 billion deal with Iran’s Aseman Airlines for 30 737 MAX airplanes

Apr 4, 2017 9:53 am By Robert Spencer

Would Boeing have signed a deal to sell commercial jetliners to Nazi Germany?

Note also that the Islamic Republic of Iran is essentially getting these jetliners for free, courtesy of Barack Hussein Obama, who showered billions upon billions on Iran in his last months in office.

“Boeing Co. says it has signed a $3 billion deal with Iran’s Aseman Airlines for 30 737 MAX airplanes,” Associated Press, April 4, 2017:

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) – Boeing Co. says it has signed a $3 billion deal with Iran’s Aseman Airlines for 30 737 MAX airplanes.

I agree with your comments, what they will use these planes for should be the most urgent concern?

    • Godwin says

      Apr 4, 2017 at 3:38 pm

These planes are easy targets for any missiles.

      • Michael Nollet says

        Apr 4, 2017 at 7:44 pm

Not only that, but since they’re brand-new aircraft, we can install lo-jacks on them, so that we can shut them all down whenever we want to. I’m only surprised that Iran ever agreed to buy them from us, for precisely this reason.

      • gravenimage says

        Apr 4, 2017 at 8:27 pm

The idea that the West is going to shoot down passenger airplanes is just calumny.

        • Keys says

          Apr 4, 2017 at 8:57 pm

I think these commenters meant to bring them down if and when they are not used as passenger planes, but used as a means to bring some harm to us.

However, disguising a plane (with an atomic bomb loaded/hidden in its belly) as a passenger plane landing at major US airports would be a good way to deliver atomic destruction.

          Oh–then I agree, Keys.

The money can’t be as dirty as they are, anyway.

  3. Westman says

I am confused by the math. The new Air Force one and two were going to cost $4 Billion. Of that, 20% was the actual cost of the aircraft wthout the high-tech add-ons. This would be a base cost of $4B x .2 = $800 Million for two planes – that’s $400 Million each.

The Iranians get 30 planes for $3 Billion, or $100 Million each.
The US gets two planes for $ $400 Million each.

One would think that the US is getting screwed or Iran is being subsidized, or both. When one considers that discounts of up to 50% are offered on large scale purchases, and the US certainly buys from Boeing, – it’s both.

Has anyone noticed that these Iranian sales are model 737 which is easily converted into an in-air refueling tanker to support long range air operations? Israel certainly must be considering that possibility.

The Obama legacy, slandering the heart of a Christian nation, one deal with the devil at a time.

    • Richard says

      Apr 4, 2017 at 8:18 pm

“these Iranian sales are model 737 which is easily converted into an in-air refueling tanker to support long range air operations?”

Not done easily or cheaply. The current tanker tech at Boeing is based on the 767, not the 737. A 737 based tanker has never been developed. The tanker technology is military hardware, not commercial. Further, tankers are built as tankers not quite from the ground up but long before the airplanes are finished. Your speculation does not ring true. In fact you are grossly uninformed.

      • Westman says

        Apr 5, 2017 at 12:35 am

Sorry about that Richard,. My mistake, however surplus fuel bladders and other hardware that could be used are spread all over the world, some not a day’s drive from my location.

No one should under-estimate the Iranians – they are not Arabs; and they gained a solid education in the West before the 1979 Revolution – which they pass on to even their women. Fuel bladders and flying booms are not rocket science.

Could they convert a 737 MAX into a tanker? Is this complicated compared to ICBMs or Uranium refinement?

It is amusing that Boeing is selling the 737s at premium (standard unit) prices for a lot of 30 and Iran will pay it. I don’t believe for a minute that none will be used for military purposes.

9/11 was carried out with passenger planes. Now imagine one that has a passenger list but is actually carrying a nuclear device.

To be honest, we don’t have to worry about the Iran – Israel fight, looking back over the last 10 years of Iranian air firepower is more comic relief than danger.

The Israelis would knock them to bits before they got their first rocket loaded…

The Israelis are hard, fast, well equiped, well organised and if you were on the receiving end,, vicious …

      And with good reason !

YES they would have, for the same reasons Henry Ford made deals with ” Der Fhuerer ” before the ww3. Money has NO boundaries .

Money talks !!! BS not so much.

      • Joe says

        Apr 5, 2017 at 6:50 am

Ford was an anti-Semite. He was making money and supporting a cause he liked. It was a “win-win” deal for him. In the same way, Boeing is probably hip to the world jihad plan. As in the case of Ford, they are making money and forcing an agenda at the same time.

The Nazis and Jihad have all the same western supporters. They are both supported by the elite in business, politics, and entertainment. Nazis and Jihad have the same goals, and their tactics are only slightly different. All these similarities are no accident by any means.

Totalitarian states are the nightmare of the middle class, but they are always supported by the elite class, because it ensures that they will not only remain elite, but become the masters of the world in every way.

What rot. Enabling our enemies is not good for our military or American jobs.

Besides, these figures do not really make sense unless American taxpayers are heavily subsidizing this deal. Is *that* good for American jobs, as well?

  7. Irene Brekelmans says

    Apr 4, 2017 at 12:13 pm

There seems to be a strangeness about this deal. It gives me a funny feeling.
And that is what I mean exactly, Obama gave Iran how many millions, to whom and what for? All of a sudden you get to hear about it, you never have any saying in that, those are done deals. In 737 ‘s you can fly a lot of people all of a sudden somewhere. and the calculating from Westman gives to think, that is why I can’t stand governments, who always have done deals that have been constructed in secret, by the time you hear about it, it is already done. That is why I think old systems have to go and the people who make those secret deals with the old systems. After all your taxpayers money is in in and you don’t have any saying in it.
That is what is wrong with our systems. Long time ago, we let it slip and signed all our power away to old power craving old men and expected them to be honest and truthfully for the people and country(see Irak) and many others who send our troops to fight a war , while the reason for it wasn’t even true and many of those things happen all over the world and many people were killed, for what?
And why did Obama give all that money to Iran? And often they play it both ways.
That was already in world war 1 and 2. One has to be so careful, and I just hope there will be nations of our children who had enough of this and do a better job.

Not really–Obama grew up Sunni, and has often enabled Sunnis, as well as Shi’ites.

I think his only bias was towards *Muslims*.

But…but.. Donald J Trump will lift sanctions on Russia allowing the Exxon/Russia 500 million dollar deal to drill for oil and set up new refineries across the northern hemisphere. So cry the leftards. This Boeing deal is for SIX times that amount!
Somehow Rex Tillerson and Exxon are evil even though that deal was worked out in 2012 then sanctioned after the 2014 invasion of Crimea by Russia. Rex since has left Exxon and DJT had not even whispered of declaring his candidacy at that time, yet the whole left is insane about Russia and specifically the Exxon deal (cry babies on sm anyway) which has not happened and probably won’t now. Why? Because of some moral/political obligation to punish and pressure Russia for its intrusion into Crimea? Maybe, but Barry at least partially took an opportunity to punish American oil companies…again
Must have been a sad day for Exxon after out bidding Chevron and working very hard for that deal. Since the Obama oil hating beuacracy wouldn’t allow for drilling here, there or anywhere that actually would have been a good thing for American oil jobs abroad. So thanks for nothing VLAD and for giving the left some more to cry about.
As much as I do not like Russin oligarchs I hope Trump lifts those sanctions now, screw all the weirdo libs. And I hated how Barry constantly lectured us on green energy while sanctioning Iran with Nuclear power and 150 billion dollars that gauranteed they’ll eventually build a nuclear weapon, only 8 years left.

We won’t hear of this nefarious Boeing deal with Iran on MSLSD, not a peep. No pressue at all because it is tied to the Islamic country of Iran, Barry’s BFF, “the rop”.

Had Russia not invaded Crimea and the Exxon deal had gone through to a working model in 2012/2013 this would be a non issue right now. -I missed inputting that.

Hunter Biden gets a free pass after signing on to the board of directors of ‘ Ukrainian Oil’ (post Russian invasion 2014 and we hear nothing about that) the largest oil company in Ukraine. The Ukraine half full of Russian loyalists that allowed Putin to pretty much waltz right in.

Strange to say, General Motors, via Opel provided the Third Reich with war planes, and IBM provided the SS with information services, right through the Second World War. Obam was just following the Grand Tradition.

Ford motor company did sell thousands of trucks to the German Army in World War 2. In fact they supplied nearly half of all the trucks in the German Army.

They even opened a couple of factories in Concentration Camps. During the war the USAAF bombed them and Henry Ford got compensation from the US government for bombing his Concentration Camps – the only American to do so.

The question is not about a Nazi purchase of planes, it’s about the economic’s of selling airplanes to a country (Iran) who’s main mission is to take over the world. Muslims in Iran have sworn to kill all Infidels?
Now, re-ask the question and this time pose it to Boeing, the seller?

I share the concern with the militarization of American planes and stealing the advanced technology, which may be your message.

Unfortunately using WWII as an example missed the mark. Several American companies provided goods and services to the Germans during the war. i.e. the Kennedy Family, the Bush Family, Standard Oil, Ford, etc.
