“Defence attorney Todd Shanker acknowledged that Rayyan’s statements were “terrible.” But he said Rayyan was an insecure young man who was hooked on marijuana and simply wanted to impress the undercover woman online.”
And what could be more impressive to the ladies than boasts of skinning some non-Muslims like sheep? Very smooth!
“Khalil Abu Rayyan, Michigan Convict, Said He Wanted To Skin Victims ‘Like Sheep,'” by Ed White, Associated Press, April 7, 2017 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
DETROIT — A Detroit-area man who talked about attacking a church and a hospital on behalf of the Islamic State group was sentenced to five years in prison Thursday after a judge said remorse over his provocative words came “too little, too late.”
Khalil Abu Rayyan, 23, wasn’t charged with a terrorist act. But U.S. District Judge George Caram Steeh said he couldn’t ignore Rayyan’s threats and infatuation with terrorism as he sentenced him for gun-related crimes.
Rayyan kept a beheading photo on his cellphone screen, boasted about becoming a martyr and repeatedly expressed support for Islamic State. He said he wanted to skin victims “like sheep.” The FBI learned about his online activities and used an undercover operative to reach out to him during the investigation.
Rayyan apologized in court last week and said he didn’t actually hurt anyone. He said he’s a different man after spending more than a year in custody.
Steeh said he hoped the remorse was genuine, but he considered it to be “too little, too late.”
“Any prisoner in his shoes would be willing to do the same,” the judge said….
Defence attorney Todd Shanker acknowledged that Rayyan’s statements were “terrible.” But he said Rayyan was an insecure young man who was hooked on marijuana and simply wanted to impress the undercover woman online.

Keep him locked away and teach him that sheep are usually SHORN not skinned-so he’s stupid too. If he’s a naturalized citizen, strip his citizenship and deport him

right on Lucia
Oliver says
I would rather see him get the Jeff Dahomey treatment.
AND SOONER RATHER THAN LATER– save money
AND, OF COURSE, NO WITNESSES.

One may make a “good impression,” a “poor impression” or a “bad impression” on another.
This creep is disgusting, worships evil and thinks he can pretend to be “sorry” ( he is really a sorry excuse) and everything is okay. Any impression he made, by saying he wanted to “skin” people, on even the toughest woman should be one of extreme disgust.
Frank Verderber says
Young man? He looks about 35 and already balding and with the beginnings of ‘crow’s feet.’ Are we seeing the remake of the movie Step Brothers?
gravenimage says
Good point, Frank–he’s no kid. “Youth” is often short-hand for “Muslim”–what calumny to decent young people.

Clearly a chum of the ‘child’ refugees who were brought into the UK, complete with wrinkled brows and greying beards!

No I think he is trying out for the romantic version of ‘Silence of the Lambs’.

If these Muslims put as much effort into doing something positive with their lives and in society as they do in dreaming up new, ever more horrific ways of slaughtering people, the world would be much better off.
This passage from Romans 1 always comes to my mind when I hear these horrible things. “Inventors of evil”, indeed! Speaking of mankind in general:
“And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.”
Shmooviyet says
Thank you for posting this passage. How particularly fitting in today’s world; everywhere is more evil being done in small and large ways, and fewer seeming to truly care about any of it.

So his lawyers excuse for his horrible behavior is he had the munchies? I don’t think your lawyer is representing you very well dude.

When will this government answer this question – what makes all these moslems so insane? Answer – brainwashing then with the quran.

Great. Society is safe for five years (if he isn’t released a lot earlier). Then it’s every man for himself. This offal needs to be locked away until he’s too decrepit to wield a knife or pull a trigger or even turn on an ignition. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for everyone is endangered with this goon on the loose.

Can he be deported?

……………………
Grimly hilarious.
And while I am not a big fan of untrammeled marijuana use, the idea that the average pot head is babbling about skinning victims like sheep is calumny to tokers.

This monster should be deported or put six feet under.
He’s a dangerous man not misguided.
I don’t trust Muslims at all. There is no reliable way to vet them because of taqqiyah.
Jeanette says
Those who don’t learn from history, etc.
And we have 1,400 years of history to learn from with regard to Islam.
God obviously isn’t going to bring about a miraculous change of heart in these 1.7 Billion Muslims (since He hasn’t done so while they slaughtered an unknown number of Christians, including small children), then He must be saying that we have to deal with this ourselves.
There’s only one way to keep them away from our children. Make sure they are dead. Either we kill them, or we let them kill each other.
Dennis says
So who isn’t “troubled ” these day. But don’t blame it on marijuana. Lots of people smoke, but you don’t see them screaming about skinning people! .
gravenimage says
Exactly, Dennis. The average person smoking weed is more likely to get the munchies than to want to slaughter people like animals.
What Khalil Abu Rayyan is “high on” is *Islam*.
Mark A says
So his defense to these charges is that he is insecure and only wanted to impress a potential online date?
Pretty lame.
But the fact that he only got five years for all these offences is pretty lame too. He may be willing to express remorse while standing in court awaiting sentencing but somehow I doubt his sincerity.
I have a feeling this guy will be in the news again after he is released from jail in a few years. And the future news of him is unlikely to contain anything most of us would consider positive.
Jim says
I was hooked on marijuana, it didnt ever make me feel like skinning a person like a sheep.

Walter Sieruk says
Among many things ,this above of the Muslim holding up his index finger ,as many other Muslim do , is a symbolic religious gesture that he firmly believes in one god .Which is the god of Islam ,Allah.
Nevertheless, it stand to reason that a belief on one god is worthless of that god belief in is the wrong god. In other words a false god.
,First, In the Bible it gives the account of the Prophet Elijah declared “If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal be ,then follow him.” First Kings 18:21.[N.K.J.V.] In other words follow one of the other. Not both.
Second, many people say that the God of the Bible and the god of Islam are one the same. Is the majority always right? That’s not always the case. As an example the Christian pastor and scholar, Michael Youssef, who is also an Arab in his book entitled JESUS, JIHAD AND PEACE on page 69 informs the reader that “The name Allah comes from pre-Islamic times, and it corresponds to the Babylonian mane Bel or Baal. According to the Middle East scholar E.M. Wherry, pre-Islamic Arabs worshiped gods they called Allah. Both pre-Islamic Allah-worship and Baal –worship involved worship of the sun, the moon and the stars, which is why they are called astral religions. The crescent moon, the symbol of pagan moon worship, is also the symbol of Islam. It is printed on flags of many Islamic countries and placed atop minarets and mosques.” Likewise, a former Muslim who is now a Christian, Dr. Daniel Shayesteh, who used to live in the Middle East but now he lives in America . In his book ISLAM AND THE SON OF GOD. On pages 7,8. Reads “Allah is the generic term for God in many Middle –Eastern cultures. Allah is identified as one of the 360 or so idols worshiped by the Arabian people for centuries before Muhammad was born. Many do not know that Allah was the good god of the Arabians. This explains the crescent moon found on minarets and mosques and the flags of Muslim nations. .. .Historic writings also identify Allah with Baal.” It’s also worth mentioning that the Bible condemns such astral religions. As in, for example, Second Kings 23:5.
Therefore, now in modern times, it may be rightly said “If Yahweh Lord of the Bible , be the one True God follow Him. Yet if Allah the lord of Islam be the one true god then follow him.” The case is very clear cut.
There is the Christian site http://www.answering-islam.org
In addition, the God of the Bible is not really Allah the god of Islam. To explain, through the passing of time it has become widely accepted that the word “Allah” is just the Arabic word for God. This started when truth compromising Bible “translators” substituted the word Allah where the word God should have had been uses in the Arabic translation of the Bible. Furthermore, in the glossary in the book ASSASSINS! By Dr. Haha Lung it defines Allah as the “Pre-Islamic Lunar god : the god of Islam. “ Likewise, in the book entitled INSIDE ISLAM by a former Muslim who is now a Christian, Reza F. Safa on pages 22, 23 it reads “In pre-Islamic times both Allah –worship and Baal-worship involved the worship of the sun, the moon and the stars which h defines them as astral religions. [Which are condemned in the Bible, Second Kings 23:5] The crescent moon, which was the symbol of moon worship, is also the symbol of Islam.” In conclusion the Islamic god, Allah, is not the God of the Bible.
The words in brackets are my own. In addition other some other books that expose this little known truths are WHO IS THIS ALLAH ? by G..J.O.. Moshay also UNVEILING ISLAM by Ergun Mehmet Caner and Emir Fethi Caner and THE ISLAMIC INVASION by Robert Morey . There is also PHILISTINE by Ramon Bennett and ANSWERING JIHAD by Mabeel Qureshi

Decades ago, I did some part time work for a friend who was a criminal defense attorney.
One of his clients ( who was admittedly, guilty, and found so by a jury- which was stupid-as the state offered a plea deal, which he refused) ( he was a minor drug dealer- but a sneaky one), asked for permission (of the judge) to make a statement, before being sentenced. (I was in the courtroom, as was, obviously, his attorney-who did not know that he was going to make this request).
Basically, he said, he did the drug dealing to make his mortgage payments, and support his wife, daughters, and their car payments (top of the line Mercedes’s for all) (shopping was at Nieman Marcus, only the finest) and he “just could not afford it” on his $200,000+ salary ( now this was over 30 years ago).
I asked, 9 the lawyer, not this creep) why he said this. the lawyer’s answer was, ” if you feel that you ahve to say something, you have to use what you have.
My guess- this lawyer HAD to say something, so that is what he said. I would think, however, that silence is better than weird statements).
Michael Casmer says
A hospital and a church. Nice. Unarmed, innocent people. As usual
Oliver says
I was merely saying why I thought the lawyer said what he said. Not condoning what the Muslim pos said he wanted to do.
The Feds usually do not bring a case unless they are reasonably certain of winning

When they go to trial convictions should be in the mid 80′ s to high 90per cent range
