Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Did Trump get a Muslim Brotherhood operative freed from an Egyptian prison?

Apr 22, 2017 6:09 pm By Robert Spencer

“Despite flimsy evidence, the group was eventually charged on seven counts, including operating an unlicensed organizations, inciting street children to join pro-Muslim Brotherhood protests and sexually assaulting minors. The group denied all the charges, and human rights lawyers said the evidence against them was fabricated. The state’s own forensic report found no evidence that any of the children in their care had been sexually abused. Reports suggested that a boy they had allegedly kidnapped had never been to the Belady Foundation, and he was later found in another province.”

The Post offers a refutation of the sexual assault charge but lets the Muslim Brotherhood charge go by unchallenged except for the blanket denial. If it is false, why not present some evidence of that fact, as with the sexual assault charge?

If Hijazi is indeed Muslim Brotherhood, whose idea in the White House was it to make freeing her top priority? Why a Muslim Brotherhood operative? Why not press for the freedom of Mohamed Hegazy to emigrate? He is the Muslim who converted to Christianity and was imprisoned, harassed, and persecuted for years until finally he was broken and returned to Islam. Why not press for the freedom of some of those others imprisoned for leaving Islam?

If Hijazi is a Muslim Brotherhood operative, this episode is yet more evidence that the Trump administration, which promised to drain the swamp, has instead been conquered by it.

“Who is Aya Hijazi, the American freed from jail in Egypt?,” by Louisa Loveluck, Washington Post, April 21, 2017:

BEIRUT — During nearly three years spent shuttling between an Egyptian jail and a Cairo courtroom cage in a case dismissed by human rights groups as “bizarre,” Aya Hijazi’s American citizenship did not seem to count for much.

She was a dual national at a time when Egypt was gripped by the widest-ranging crackdown in its modern history. Her case had become a national scandal, cast by state media as a victory of law and order. And despite calls for her release, the Obama administration seemed to have little leverage with the Sissi regime to make it happen.

But on Friday, she entered the White House as a free woman, having flown home on a U.S. government plane after being acquitted in a Cairo court.

The court’s decision came after months of backroom negotiations between the Trump administration and representatives of Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sissi.

Hijazi, 30, grew up in Falls Church, Va., graduating from George Mason University before moving to Egypt for further study. She went on to found the Belady Foundation, an organization that aims to shelter and rehabilitate marginalized street children.

As a crackdown on civil society groups was gathering pace in May 2014, police raided the Belady Foundation’s Cairo premises. Hijazi was detained alongside her husband, Mohamed Hassanein, and others at the foundation. She would have to wait four months to even find out what she had been arrested for.

Despite flimsy evidence, the group was eventually charged on seven counts, including operating an unlicensed organizations, inciting street children to join pro-Muslim Brotherhood protests and sexually assaulting minors. The group denied all the charges, and human rights lawyers said the evidence against them was fabricated.

The state’s own forensic report found no evidence that any of the children in their care had been sexually abused. Reports suggested that a boy they had allegedly kidnapped had never been to the Belady Foundation, and he was later found in another province….

Trump is on peoples minds. Is this Trump guy just another self-serving charismatic political fraudster like Mohammed the prophet of Islam clearly was? Time will tell I suppose.

We ex-Muslims living with Islam’s formal and informal death penalty for apostasy know that Mohammedanism is a very dangerous and harmful fraud.

Muslims want to live by and impose Sharia law on the rest of us because of what is written in the Qur’an and Muhammad’s Sunnah and nothing can ever change that reality unless Islam is abandoned by the Muslims themselves. A gloomy prospect indeed but not one without hope.

Islam is no “religion of peace.” Islam is primarily a religion of “injustice, intolerance, hatred, and violence.” The fact is, if we non-Muslims were to say about Muslims what the Qur’an says about non-Muslims, we would be arrested for hate speech. The Qur’an largely preaches discrimination, death, and imposition of its dogma on everyone. Certainly some Muslims will be offended by such statements, but frankly, so what? Judaism and Christianity, the world’s two other major monotheistic religions, have had to face the harshest of scrutiny and criticism for several hundred years which continues to this day. Islam must not be granted any special privileges or be exempt from such treatment – the implications are of tremendous importance.

Here is a recent statement from a group of Bangladeshi apostates living in the UK explaining the reasons why they have abandoned Islam:

“One who claims to be a messenger of God is expected to live a saintly life. He must not be given to lust, he must not be a sexual pervert, and he must not be a rapist, a highway robber, a war criminal, a mass murderer or an assassin. One who claims to be a messenger of God must have a superior character. He must stand above the vices of the people of his time. Yet Muhammad’s life is that of a gangster godfather. He raided merchant caravans, looted innocent people, massacred entire male populations and enslaved the women and children. He raped the women captured in war after killing their husbands and told his followers that it is okay to have sex with their captives (Qur’an 33:50). He assassinated those who criticized him and executed them when he came to power and became de facto despot of Arabia. Muhammad was bereft of human compassion. He was an obsessed man with his dreams of grandiosity and could not forgive those who stood in his way…

      The statement continues,

Muhammad was a narcissist, like Hitler, Saddam or Stalin. He was astute and knew how to manipulate people, but his emotional intelligence was less evolved than that of a 6-year-old child. He simply could not feel the pain of others. He brutally massacred thousands of innocent people and pillaged their wealth. His ambitions were big and as a narcissist he honestly believed he is entitled to do as he pleased and commit all sorts of crimes and his evil deeds are justified.”

Unless Trump goes on an orgy of murder and conquest of unbelievers, I feel confident that the answer to that question is “no”.

Even if Trump turns out to be a big disappointment, comparing him to the sanguinary “prophet” of Islam seems unwarranted.

I always feared that Trump’s basic ignorance about Islam itself–despite his refreshing condemnation of violent Jihad–would prove to be a problem, and so it has become.

I was quite happy to have Trump and Co oppose Hil-liar-y during the election but as events have unfolded, I have become very worried. I think our future with the Hag was destined to be Islamic and I am not sure she herself was not a Muslim. But Trump seems to be running as hard as he can to NOT follow through on his campaign promises; draining the swamp seems to have died. And, Frankly It All Started by Refusing to Allow Investigation and Prosecution of the Clintons.

I think he has too many people from the Obama administration in-house now and he is being fed inaccurate information. I am unconvinced Jared and Ivanka are not primary information givers and I think they are a) not informed about science and I think b) their agenda is too liberal and not supportive of what we thought her dad’s was.

The treatment of people on his staff has been in the poorest of business practices and I think we are being lied to.

Here’s a problem: Trump has enough smarts and good street instincts but not enough pure knowledge of Islam.

Here’s another problem: Dual citizenship. No American after 21 should have such. It’s American citizenship only or no American citizenship. Yes, if one by the laws of their country, and born in America (regardless of their parents’ citizenship) or of a parent who is a citizen of America residing outside of America, is born a dual citizen, such person must make up their mind by 21, and no later, whether they want to be an American only.

Dual citizenship is a way of watering down citizenship in general; it’s a back door, one of many, to the stupid globalist concept. Frankly, I don’t care that much if other nations want to allow this, but America shouldn’t. Virtually no upside and replete with many possible downsides. Speaking for myself, I am an American first, last, always, proudly and only. After one reaches 21, I would argue, vigorously argue, that it is in the best interests of America to allow NO ONE to be an American citizen AND ALSO a citizen of another country.

One must choose. No exceptions. Best for America——and by extension best for the West at large. For the preservation of freedom too.

      Hello again Wellington —

Your first two sentences perfectly state the depressing reality about our president. We might doubt that anything can be done to wake Donald Trump up by now, but here is a suggestion anyway:

Tomorrow (Sunday) if many of us have the day off work — TAKE TIME TO PLAN A MESSAGE TO YOUR FEDERAL & STATE REPUBLICAN LEGISLATORS.

On Monday, call your STATE’S DISTRICT — NOT WASHINGTON DC OVERBUSY — senator / representative office. Ask to speak to the chief of staff and tell that person know about the email you will be sending.

Include a short biography of YOUR OWN PATH FROM CLUELESSNESS ABOUT ISLAM — to understanding its essence of subjugation and violence.

Finish with a request that president Trump is somehow brought into factual reality — because the United States will be in a war to survive FOR MANY YEARS OR EVEN DECADES.

      Wellington,

I totally agree with you on dual citizenship. Citizenship gives you rights that you wouldn’t have, even as a legal resident: like the right to vote and hold office. Also, you can always flit between countries if things get a bit too hot in one of your countries. George Soros is a dual citizen of both the US and Hungary, and he is immensely destructive to both. If he had to choose one or another, perhaps he would be more careful against fouling his own nest.

This would remove a lot of ambiguities in the case of Hijazi. Either she’s an Egyptian who is entirely subject to Egyptian laws (and justice) or she is an American, who can simply be told to leave Egypt if she becomes an irritant.

Having said this, the case against her seems pretty flimsy from the report: “encouraging children to join pro-Muslim Brotherhood protests”. And the fact that they didn’t tell her the charges for 4 months indicates that her abuses of the position, if any, were not exactly glaring. And a US citizen wants to be an Egyptian citizen as well…why?

I think the internationalist do-gooders should do good at their own risk: if they want to risk triggering incarceration in an alien country by poking around in their business, it should be on them to extricate themselves.

I think the dual citizenship ban should also hold for dual US-Israeli citizens. If a US Jew wants to make aliyah to Israel, mazel tov and best of luck, but you vacation, or do business, or study or participate in politics in the US it should be as a visitor and not as a citizen.

      Apr 23, 2017 at 5:12 am

Yes, I totally agree with this good argumentation. In Holland the discussion about single or dual citizenship is going on and off for decades now. It is very irritating for many Dutch to notice that Turkish citizens, even those born in Holland have dual citizenship. Young Dutch Turks have to serve in the Turkish Army or pay a high price for exemption. And Dutch Turks get to vote in Turkish elections,

And high proportions of the Turkish Dutch seem to be more pro-Turkish than pro Dutch.

I knew and am glad that you are first/ foremost an American.

Well, having pondered long and hard about Islam and what is opposed to it and better, I focused on Democratic institutions as being better than all political dictatorial tenets/ practices of Islam, like Shariah law.

And I would like us to answer not only to choose one nations among a possible membership of 2 nations, but also I would like us to ask of Muslims in Holland (and the same goes for other Democratic Nations):

Do you Muslim, see yourself as a Dutch (wo)man, being of the Muslim variety of Dutch? Or do you see yourself as a Muslim, being of the Dutch variety of Muslims. Or do you not even see yourself as Muslim of the Dutch variety but of the Turkish (Or Moroccan etc) variety? This pertains to questions of loyalty and trustworthyness.

But I had to consider’ It dawned on me that a Muslim would be an ardent Dutch nationalist, but that Dutch Muslims would (still) desire that Holland and the Dutch came under Shariah law. Just as fervently Dutch Communists might want Holland to be Communist and as fervently Dutch fascists might want Holland to be like Nazi-Germany in the end.

So I like to see myself as a sort of “Democratist” (person in favor of Democracy almost everywhere) and then of the Dutch variety of Democratists.

I hold dual Irish and Canadian citizenship and worked in the United States for 10 years. There is a DNA/Genetic bond between we Irish and America; largely based on America’s acceptance of millions of us over the centuries when we desperately needed it. It appears my generation may be the last to feel this Spiritual association with America due to the socialist leaning education of our young people. The world she be a changin’.

The population of Ireland was approximately 8 million when the devastating potato famine struck, inopportunely in 1845; lasting many years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Famine_(Ireland). The numbers in this entry somewhat disagree with the numbers I was taught growing up in Ireland. We were taught that the population was reduced by 50% (not 25% as Wikipedia states). 2 million died from preventable starvation and 2 million emigrated. By 1850 the population was 4 million.

America accepted us unconditionally and we reciprocated in kind (and yes I’m aware of some mis-behaviour along the way); we helped build America, along with the Germans, Dutch, French, Spanish, English, Scandinavians, Scottish, Welsh, and lots of other contributing nations and cultures. The American “Melting Pot” concept. What an entity we built!

We “melted together to become a homogenous whole; unlike the Canadian concept of “Mosaic” where all investing immigrant culture groups retain their distinct individual flavour. Until the relatively recent moslims invasion of Canada, which if not derailed, will derail Canada and create a massive local security threat to America.

What we had in common was an interest in building an exceptional nation and future for all of us based on common aspirations and beliefs – primarily the belief in the value of the individual over the value of Government and/or Monarchy; and in that we succeeded. We built the most amazing example of human endeavour – AMERICA.

Until perhaps the last hundred years or so when Socialism/Communism/islam began sewing its ugly seeds with the likes of FDR, Clinton, Carter, and most recently Barry Soetoro (aka bh obama).

There is nothing wrong with dual/multiple citizenship as long as the holder of each understands that his/her primary loyalty and obligation is to the nation/country /community that currently provides sustenance and opportunity; the country one LIVES in.

While I love my Irish heritage, my obligation and loyalty is to Canada; although that might change as I urgently look for a return to America, under Trump to escape the clown Trudeau Canada recently elected – he will do more damage to Canada than Barry Soetoro did to America.

I was in pursuit of my Green Card while working in the US; unfortunately I was deprived of it due to being laid off and for visa reasons being legally required to leave. When I look at the many millions of illegals in the US, I often wonder if my integrity was worth it – it cost me huge employment and financial opportunity to do what I was legally required to do; return to my originating country – that questioning is usually just a passing sentiment.

Moslims don’t comprehend this essential obligation; their loyalty is to mad m0hamhead/alla and the ummah and sharia. Their objective is not to build and participate an integrated society where they reside; it is rather to replace the society they have invaded with the cancer that is islam – this is basic and fundamental – unlike how we Irish/English/Scots/Dutch/etc., think.

          Apr 23, 2017 at 6:09 pm

You argued your point well, Celtic, but I still respectfully disagree. The nation state is a compromise, and a very good one I would argue, between the city states and empires of antiquity. The former is too small to ordinarily protect itself and the latter is too large and amorphous to ordinarily insure an abiding patriotism. The nation state thus functions as the perfect balance (not that modern-day globalists will get this), a balance which grew out of the Middle Ages. Dual citizenship muddies this balance and is not conducive to the preservation of sole loyalty, which, I think, is the whole idea behind the nation state concept in the first place.

Being a patriotic American as I am, and also believing that it is the greatest polity ever created by man, I do not want it diminished by loyalty to any other state, even if that state is a very fine one like Canada or Ireland. Thus I am against dual citizenship for any American past 21 years of age. I certainly could understand why other nations may think this way too, but I write as an American——–and an American only. So, we will have to cordially agree to disagree on this matter.

P.S. Thanks also to Demsci, jihad3tracker and RonaldB for their input on my initial comment of yesterday. Much appreciated.

Because if we did that, that would tacitly state, we believe, it is, minimally, unjust for our “ally,” Egypt, as well as other Muslim nations, to imprison or punish those who leave Islam.

Far better–if, that is, we are going to gain any brownie points at all with our potential Muslim “allies” –for us to show respect for their “great religion” then to infer, opening or overtly, we fail to regard that “great” faith as being just that.

How can a person be of dual citizenship? They are either 100% American or NOT. If they have a want to be a citizen of another country, They are not wanting to be 100% American. This woman was charged as a Egyptian citizen, which she choose to be. Why does America always have to come to the rescue of a “dual” citizen that goes back to their chosen other country, breaks the law, and then expects America to get them out of the situation that they chose to be in? On the brotherhood subject, if she was a brotherhood operative , obama would have got her back.
