“And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may strike terror in the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know, whom Allah knows.” (Qur’an 8:60)
“Bomb Strikes St Mark’s Cathedral in Alexandria, Pope Tawadros II ‘Safe,’” Egyptian Streets, April 9, 2017:
A bomb has exploded near St. Mark Coptic Cathedral in Alexandria, just hours after another bombing at St George’s in Tanta.
According to initial reports, the bomb struck outside the Cathedral, killing at least one person.
Coptic Pope Tawadros II, the head of the Coptic Church, was inside the Cathedral at the time of the explosion. Initial reports indicate the Pope is safe. Pope Tawadros II was inside the church presiding over Palm Sunday celebrations.

My heart goes out to those Christians who have been slaughtered. This is just horrifying.
It’s on days like today that I truly hate Islam.
Churchill was right about Islam: no stronger retrograde force exists in the world. It’s a blight on humanity.
Pastor C says
It’s who and what they are; savages without conscience.
May God rest the souls of the martyrs and comfort their grieving families and our brethren who faithfully serve the Lord Christ, even in the midst of pervasive and unrelenting persecution.
It is my prayer that this administration, and the Church in the West, will do whatever is necessary to support the persecuted and push back the evils of Islam without retreat.

REQUEST TO ALL WESTERN CHURCHES and Eastern Ones:
GET SOMEONE ARMED SITTING NEAR THE DOOR AT EASTER SERVICES.
The jihadists WILL ATTACK CHURCHES this EASTER.
It is irresponsible not to protect the flock.
salim says
I am not a Christian but the standing of the Christian Church these years is appalling. Their lack of action is worse than the worst action, even in the dark ages.
This Islamic extreme barbarity has been going on for a long time while the Pope busy kissing the smelly feet of Muslims and other church leaders busy inviting Muslim imams to read humiliating passages from the Quran.
However, the Christians of Egypt are humans before the are Christians. Why the international community does’t help? Imagine the outrage if a Christian retaliates by bombing a mosque.
Oliver says
Salim– the ‘INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY” only cares IF AN ISRAELI KILLS A MUSLIM IN SELF DEFENSE, OR IN DEFENSE OF HIS (OR HER) FAMILY.
THEN THERE IS CONCERN.
But if Muslims kill Jews or Christians or Hindus or Buddhists- they don’t give a shit.
That is most western leaders and many religious (including some Jewish ones, and most of the Christian ones)- they just do not care. Or, if they ( secretly care, DUE TO POLITICAL CORRECTNESS, WILL KEEP SILENT..

Hello again to my friend Mortimer —
Yes, your suggestion is just common sense; it should be done. However, the huge idiotic ocean of what I call Western privilege guilt will likely prevent that from happening here in the U.S. and in Europe.
gravenimage says
Mortimer, this would probably not be allowed in places like Egypt. The Muslims in power do not want to see Christians defend themselves, and their own protection of Christians is spotty at best. In many cases, they are doing nothing or even abetting the Jihad attackers.
Vlad says
I expect Trump to order a missile attack on Egypt any time now.
gravenimage says
The government in Egypt is not doing much to protect Christians, but I have no reason to believe that al-Sisi is behind these attacks.
ISIS has claimed responsibility. Is there some reason you doubt this?
salim says
Sissi is not behind it of course. Problem he did nothing to stop the spreading and strengthening of islamisation of the country. He allows the ideology behind terrorism the to control the nation (nurtures terrorism while fighting the terrorists).
The king of Jordan does the same in his country.
TH says
Sisi doesn’t have full control of the country, not even of the Police. Obama’s friends the Muslim Brotherhood are very strong there.
Vlad says
Well, no. I have no doubt that ISIS did the massacre in Egypt, but It seems highly unbelievable to me that Assad had launched the chemical attack, they accuse him of.
Carolyne says
I don’t find it “Highly unbelievable” but I think there is a 50/50 chance that he did not. I hope our government had indisputable proof of who did it before bombing.
dumbledoresarmy says
Not missiles.
What *should* happen is putting Al Sisi on notice: if NO concrete action is taken to curb the Muslim Brotherhood and to track down and punish ALL Muslims who commit crimes against Christians – whether kidnap rape and force ‘conversion’ of girls (including underaged girls) up to and including assault, robbery, church-burnings, riots, lynchings, etc. and so forth, usually upon transparently-false ginned-up accusations – then US ‘aid’, trade, etc will be ratcheted back, inexorably, chunk by chunk.
And the Muslim Brotherhood should be BANNED, and rooted out of the USA, along with ALL its identifiable proxies, catspaws, and wholly-owned franchises. And ALL its operatives given the boot, including the likes of Ingrid Mattson. Deportations and Exilings.
And no matter what Al-Sisi does: from henceforward the ONLY Egyptians allowed into the USA should be bona fide Copts, identified with the aid of emigre Copts and their clergy, and by people like Coptic-American Raymond Ibrahim.
And all non-citizen Egyptian Muslims currently in the USA should be sent back to Egypt. Those who claim to have apostasised get very thoroughly interrogated and put on probation… and signed up for Cult Deprogramming courses, too.
Those with citizenship… well…put them on notice. They will be interned if they show an interest in jihad or are caught pushing sharia or practising any of the many aspects of same that violate American law.
dumbledoresarmy says
On the subject of Egypt, Trump needs to be urged to talk to Coptic American author Raymond Ibrahim (who could teach him a thing or two about Mohammedan deceptions) and … Bat Yeor.
He would also be well advised, before he goes any further in office, to ring up Australia’s Rev Dr Mark Durie, and ask for a simple precis of the measures that C S Hurgronje devised for the use of the Dutch, when they were governing majority-Muslim Indonesia.
Carolyne says
These measures should be taken against Pakistan and should have been long ago.

The death toll from St. George’s Church in Tanta, Egypt is now up to 27, plus 78 injured.
St. Mark’s death toll (in Alexandria, Egypt) is up to 11, plus 66 wounded.
A Muslim policewoman — who wears a hijab — was killed along with another police officer as they stopped the suicide bomber from entering St. Mark’s where Coptic Orthodox Pope Tawadros II was praying the Palm Sunday Mass.

Explosions? How about vile Islamic jihad attacks?
Jordan says
Neither the U.S. nor the E.U. authorities have ever cared to stand up for the helpless and continually assaulted Christian minorities of the Middle East. I am not a conspiracy theorist, but there is something sinister in the way the western leaders always turn a blind eye to the undeclared but fierce war, waged by Islamists, that aims at the total extermination of all of the MIddle East Christians.
TJ says
Maybe it will make you feel better if you understand the biblical response. First of all, in the bible God made babies who are murdered while we just walk on by king over us all. As a result of this perverse conduct by people, God allows war, famine, pestilence, animals and earth and sky to kill people at anytime. In this way those murdered babies are more powerful than anyone here since when they are treated this way it ruins God’s motivation to protect human life. Isaiah says God has the back turned to us now and this what he is talking about when he says this. By the word of the prophet Ezekiel, God will change this judgment. Ezekiel says those who grieve for those murdered babies will live on to see the return of Jesus. Those who have no grief are marked for death. Only an act of God similar to the passover can kill people according to the level of their grief. If anyone wants the God of the bible to intervene against people like ISIS, you would best not have any arrogance over slain little ones in your community or it will not go well for you when the word of Ezekiel comes to pass. This is the way the bible says it will win over murder in the end.
Carolyne says
I’m sorry, but a loving god punishing a group of people for the actions of a few makes no sense to me. Not too loving is it? This kind of thinking is outdated and has no place in the 21st century.
Wasn’t the act of god at Passover to make oil burn a long time? What does that have to do with anything?
Oliver says
Why is it, it seemed that when there were US & British & Australian & Canadian troops in Iraq, everyone seemed to have weapons.
When the above mentioned soldiers left-it seems that only Muslims had weapons
Did Sanders and H . R. Clinton & Obama take away the Christians weapons?

It runs a little short of 7 minutes, but if you are really short of time, start at exactly 3:30 to get the essence of his points.
As I often suggest when posting an excellent truth-resource, please find a few spare moments to send this on to family members, friends, clergy, state and federal elected officials, your city council, and local TV station reporters who seem to have IQs higher than tree moss.
And I will add one more category to contact: the DEPARTMENT CHAIRPERSONS OF RELIGIOUS & ISLAMIC STUDIES at several universities in your state.

Thank God for men like you; men of action. May your tribe increase.
I am preparing an entire series of sermons entitled, “Do I, as a Christian, really care?” This video will, most certainly, be referenced among others.
Thank you, as well, for the salient and sage advice you offer which enables others to not, merely, complain but take action against this Islamic scourge against God and humanity.

There are Christian organizations to assist the persecuted in the Middle East. Two good ones are Samaritan’s Purse (easy to find online) and the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East. Both provide material assistance to displaced and persecuted Christians, clinics, and schools. They also permit Muslims to receive assistance in some circumstances.
Please support fellow Christians in the Middle East – send money and pray!
dumbledoresarmy says
Another excellent organisation is “Barnabas Fund”. They focus *primarily* on the persecuted Christians within the Dar al Islam. They do also assist Christians suffering in other places under other systems – e. g. North Korea – but their primary and major focus is the Christians who are suffering attack from Muslims.
Their information booklets – especially the one entitled “What is Sharia?” and another entitled “Is the Muslim Isa the Biblical Jesus?” – are very good, and can be used to warn and inform people in general (they are sober, calm, factual and well produced, and could be given to clergy, politicians and journalists, to provide them with basic information on subjects upon which there is a vast amount of Muslim ‘spin’). Anyone who reads those two booklets I have mentioned, and takes them seriously (and only a fool would not) will NOT be taken in by the whitewashers of Sharia, nor by the idiots who claim that “Muslims respect Jesus” and “the God of Islam and the God of the Christians are the same”.
Barnabas are useful because they do not merely support (and lobby on behalf of) the persecuted Christians; they *also* educate and warn Christians – and the general population – within the relatively-free Infidel world.
UNCLE VLADDI says
Damn – I had visited that very church a few years ago (I was staying in Alex with my Coptic friend’s family)!
Of course, that was a year or two before Obama conspired to toss out Mubarak and put in his Muslim Brotherhood buddies… and at that time, there were no women wearing hijabs or burkas in Egypt at all!
It was a nice industrious place at that time, before America’s President Hussein resurrected global islam!
