France was once a great nation. But when basic measures for self-defense become stigmatized and opposed as “right-wing,” the death spiral has begun. The France of Charles Martel is but a historical memory. The France of Emmanuel Macron won’t last long.
“Macron Against Arresting and Deporting Radical Islamists,” by Chris Tomlinson, Breitbart, April 22, 2017:
En Marche presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron slammed Marine Le Pen’s proposal to arrest radical Islamists saying it would be counter-productive to intelligence efforts.
Mr Macron took direct exception to Le Pen’s comments Friday morning when the Front National presidential candidate called for the arrest of all known radical Islamists and the deportation of Islamists without French citizenship Le Figaro reports. Le Pen made the comments after reports that the shooter of three police in Paris Thursday night had been known to police as an Islamic extremist.
“The goal is an intelligence goal,” Macron said. ” If you put them all in jail, first of all, it is not in accordance with the law,” he added, “The goal is to follow them. The police must be able to work in the best possible way.”
Macron also hit out at comments made by Le Pen earlier this week in which she claimed that under a Le Pen presidency none of the major attacks in the last five years would have happened. “I heard a few days ago Ms Le Pen say ‘with me, there would have been no such attack.’ No, zero risk does not exist, we live and we will live permanently with the threat of Terrorism,” he said.
The independent candidate, who is the youngest in the presidential race at 39-years-old, has been accused of lacking experience. He refuted the allegation and claimed that Le Pen’s experience was professing “untruths” and “irresponsibility.”…
Overall Macron’s reaction to the terror attack Thursday has been what he’s called a “spirit of responsibility in this extreme period” and described terrorism as, “part of our daily lives for the years to come.” …
spac says
French people ,if your think Terrorism is part of your life ,vote this man ..or if you are ready to read from history and if you know the fate Christians in the Middle East ,and Anatolia (Turkey ) ..vote Le Pen ,so that your generation will not surrender all the freedoms attained by your forefathers
mortimer says
NO! Make ‘TERRORISM’ into ‘TERROR ISN’T’.
Jim says
Spac , here is one way the people can defend themselves.
The people of France, Germany, Belgium , Netherlands., Sweden and other countries who have large population’s of Muslims and frequent jihadists attacks on their people must go out by the hundreds of thousands and protest on the streets and send a clear message to their governments that they demand that honest law abiding citizens be allowed to be armed with a handgun or taser or pepper sprays . People must be able to defend themselves from terrorists . It is unhealthy in any free open liberal democracy for government’s to not trust its law abiding citizens. Only if the masses march on the streets and demand to be armed and to carry concealed will their politicians listen .
More Ham Ed says
Leftists reject Christianity.
Then they have a micro-guilty conscience.
Then they have to “be nice” to make up for it.
“Be nice” to terrorists and killers say the leftists.
jimmi says
Be “Nice”: suffer a surprise truck attack while celebreting your national festivities.

This may seem gossipy, but it’s worth mentioning in passing. Macron is only 39, real young for somebody running for president. Yet his wife – a former teacher of his – is 64!
JawsV says
That’s a huge age difference. Weird. I can’t stand him anyway. If the French elect him then something’s gone wrong with their brains.
Peter Campbell says
Sooo right Jaws V.
utis says
Uh-oh. Is this guy imitating the Big M and his wife Khadisha?
Please, France, no! This surrender monkey plus Trudeau? The Earth’s core will explode from the sheer mass of ludicrousness.
Kaiza Solza says
How on earth could anyone contemplate voting for Emmanuel Macron, a former Rothschild & Cie Banque banker, and lackey of an institution hell bent on Financial globalisation and World Domination. How low can the French go. Stick to a candidate who will work for France and the French people . Who will save French culture and French way of life. Stick with Marine Le Pen. Take charge of your own borders. Not to hate people on the outside; but to show you love the people on the inside. Let France decide who comes in and who stays out
Financial globalisation and Islamist globalisation … aim to bring France to its knees
Spike1033 says
France is already on it’s knees. With 21% in the first round Le Pen has lost and France will be a muslim country in less than a decade. Critics say she’s a fascist. How is she a fascist? She is, if anything, a classic socialist. She simply sees the Islamic incursion into her country as a danger. The majority of French people would agree. Macron, the arch-globalist, has been parachuted in because the establishment saw that Fillon had ruined his chances by fiddling his books to the advantage of his wife. And Macron is a banker! Perfect. He will do exactly as he’s told.
maghan says
This a soft guy with a mommy complex. Freud would explain this.
Rufolino says
The French have a word for it: bizarre.
Everything about him appears to say fake, everything faked for ambition.
The idea that he “cares” about the French people appears absurd.
How many times have we seen that cold sociopathic look in the eyes of politicians… !
The death of beautiful France now appears unstoppable.
Saleem Smith says
And what will French society look like when Islamic society supplants it? It will become an environment of zombie-like burka clad women dressed in black robes, Sharia enforcement, and Jihad terror.
If Islam continues to grow in influence and population in France, say goodbye to the days of Paris being the romantic heart of Europe. Tourists will avoid France like the plague if Islam continues to grow, and the the native French population will curse their government for allowing such a monstrosity to occur as blood flows in the streets.
We ex-Muslims know that Mohammedanism is a very dangerous and harmful fraud.
“I studied the Kuran a great deal… I came away from that study with the conviction that by and large there have been few religions in the world as deadly to men as that of Muhammed” – Alexis De Tocqville (French Thinker/Historian)
“Muslims are the first victims of Islam. Many times I have observed in my travels that fanaticism comes from a small number of dangerous men who maintain others in the practice of this religion by terror. To liberate the Muslim from his religion is the best service that one can render him”. – Earnest Renan (French Thinker)
salim says
The French deserve what they vote for.
If they vote Macron, they shouldn’t blame Islam or Muslims for the future chaos because they had their democratic chance to make a change. If you bring disease to your self, don’t blame the disease when you get ill..
Macron doesn’t even believe that Islam/ Muslims have anything to do with France’s high share of terrorist attacks.
maghan says
He has that soft naive look like that of a young girl.
salim says
Macron promises economic reforms. As an economy minister isn’t he responsible for the current mess ?
Economy is bound to get worse under Macron because of the impact of terrorism on tourism.
Charli Main says
Hard to believe, that this one great nation was at the forefront, in the fight to liberate the Christian nations of the Middle East and North Africa, that had been invaded and illegally occupied by Muslims from Saudi Arabia.
tom parry says
Kinda like the usa liberated Vietnam, Iraq, and afganistan. Now The usa is a bit lost too.
Suebe says
Once upon a time I was planning a trip to the Great Continent of Europe where people could trek across and see all the different cultures, and not worry about being run over or stabbed to death. No way would I now go. Europe will soon be the new middle east and foreigners are not welcome unless you are Muslim. I pray the United States smartens up to what we are in store for if we keep following the global one world initiative. I pray the people in France wake up and claim their country back before the French people will no longer exist.
JawsV says
So glad I went in the ’90’s — France and Italy. Never once did I think of Mohammedans or even see any. Now it’s completely different.
tom parry says
I think it is not too late too visit Europe, (but do go soon) At the moment gun violence may be a good reason not to visit the usa.
trish says
Vive la France. Vive Marine Le Pen.
Macron labels Islamist terrorism as an ‘imponderable problem’. Pat Condell, courageous and witty Brit commentator on Twitter said that anyone coming out with such a defeatist statement has no business being president of any country.
Seriously, who is this Macron? Does anyone else start to think of him as the French Justin Trudeau? And look how well that turned out for Canada. Handsome is as handsome does.
eduardo odraude says
Macron has a macaroni spine.
JP says
Maybe Macron is really Inspector Clouseau in disguise. Probably will find George Soros lurking around the corner
Suebe says
Oh by the way I am not the only North American who also has cancelled trips to Paris because it has become to dangerous. Many have decided to travel at home where they know the chances of making it home alive are better than going to Europe.
JawsV says
Two years ago (2015) a family member wanted to go to Paris. I was nervous about it but decided to help her go (bought her ticket, gave her money, etc). The week she was gone I prayed there wouldn’t be a Jihad. There wasn’t. She got home safe and sound. But, that I had to worry about her being in PARIS for God’s sake is a crime.
WestDivide says
Same fear when my daughter visited Paris to run a marathon there….. She got home safe.

eduardo odraude says
Yep. Europe is under siege, and half the people are in denial or ignorance about it. So many are so uninterested in religion that they cannot be bothered to look at the core Islamic texts and cannot even really conceive that large numbers of people could be serious about religion. Half the population at least half the time doesn’t really care all that much either way whether they live in a totalitarian or a free society — they think there’s really not that much difference. If one points out how terrible this or that totalitarian country is, one gets moral equivalence responses. The stupidity is just fathomless.
David M says
I’ve never wanted to visit Paris anyway. I’ve been told the people are arrogant, & I’m of the opinion the Eiffel Tower is ugly anyway.
JawsV says
No, Paris is really wonderful. So much to see and do. Go soon if possible. I also took side trips to Versailles and Giverny.
al norm says
Well as you know Robert, the month of “no battles” is ending this week. So I am sure that ISIS and mates will pull something out of their shammag. But the French will still vote for Macron. They only move when it personally effects them
David Barrett says
I am not French . Le Pen will lose the election because of only ONE thing . She insists that French citizens cannot hold dual nationality. Thus a Frenchman living permanently in UK / Israel etc. will lose his/ her pension and medical rights. These overseas domiciled persons do not like this and in Israel there has been an 80% turn out to vote against her – any other person but her.!!
simpleton1 says
A two edge sword.
Then again, there are Turks voting for Erdogan’s referendum whilst living in Europe, Holland, Germany.
Moroccans living in Europe, and all births and approved names being registered in Morocco.
maghan says
Less than 2% of French persons would be affected by this.
Jordan says
Marine Le Pen accused Macron of being weak in the fight against Islamist terrorism. The fact is he has no intention to fight at all.
I am very much afraid that the French voters have lost their self-preservation instincts and their common sense, so the electoral victory of Macron – the liberal elites’ darling, is inevitable.
For years to come Islamists will teach France and the rest of Europe the real meaning of the proverb ” A la guerre comme a la guerre.”
simpleton1 says
The French just do not know that war was declared on them.
As I mentioned just above. The migrants maintaining dual citizenship passport and connection to their home country, and as well as being a part of the ummah, are really acting as occupationists, always able to call up for support from their home countries, and islam.
Either in finance, mosque building, institution, education, or political manouvors, UN pressure via Saudi Arabia having the chairmanship of the human rights commission and now nominated, (nominated by 5 EU countries) elected on to the UN women’s rights commission.
eduardo odraude says
Having Saudi Arabia on the women’s rights commission is surely a criminal act. Perhaps the UN is necessary, but no one should be under any illusions about the place.

Emmanuel Macron lives in a globalist universe of Big Money of which he is the designated point man.
Emmanuel Macron works for the banker owners and is a banker himself. How can he be said in any way to represent the people of France?
Emmanuel Macron is telling the French people their wishes mean nothing. They should sit down, they should submit, they should accept their ill fate.
Emmanuel Macron is telling the French people the globalists live in mega-rich gated communities while the poor live in the ever-growing Islamic no-go zones where they are terrorized every single day. Accept it. Submit to Islam.
What an evil man. Emmanuel Macron is the picture of the banality of evil.
Leon Degney says
I couldn’t agree more. I am flabbergasted that anyone would vote for this politically bankrupt clown. He is basically surrendering France to the Muslim hoards. A Tredeau clone IMHO.
maghan says
Would his mommy tell him how to govern? Kinda weird!
Aniruddha Biswas says
Only 21% of the French voted for Le Pen despite the unending jihad deaths. Now they are going to bring in Macron. The only thing to say is that the French people had the opportunity to fight back, but they took the easy way out. They preferred a fence-sitter whose statements are not very different from his predecessors. What can I say, as an outsider? Perhaps that France deserves what is coming to it. Sad, but only too true.
Richard Paulsen says
They said he looks like Kennedy. To me he is more like an ice cream stick. Seems to be an election between leftwing violence or muslim violence. Both have to be fougth. Takes a competent and devoted leader. Takes Le Pen.
Guest says
“The French presidential favorite,” if the American election has taught me anything, it’s that the election isn’t set in the polls.
Richard Paulsen says
La France has lead itself into a situation where threat of violence is the main issue regarding an election for president. Either violence from leftwings or from muslim extremists.
La France seems to think a vote for Macron is better than for Le Pen. Cowards. Not understanding what has lead to the present situation and to the dismay of lots of people in Europe.
La France got to vote for leaders dedicated and competent to lead the Nation out of the quagmire. Meaning Marine Le Pen.
Richard Paulsen says
Meaning vote for Marine Le Pen.
DFD says
Good idea, big, BIIIIGGGGG problem.
She has to capture 60%+ of the native vote! To clarify and speak the evil word, ‘native’ was a euphemism for ‘white’. Fat chance. She can’t win,she will be a, possibly strong, runner up. Of course, I could be wrong, and let’s hop that I am. However, the “…she is a fascist!” wagon is already rolling and accelerating. Everybody who believes they have some “higher morals/values” to uphold is chipping in.
Macron says: “…police…to follow them…” With whom? Maybe the French police will start a ‘Police Foreign legion’ under Macron.
no_one says
I can only say that I have lost any desire to visit Paris or anything in Europe. If Macron is elected the whole France will be a no-go zone.
Rolf Wittwer says
How can a ever Bank- and Businessman like Monsieur Macron, understand autochthone peoples problems???
anke Leibrecht says
Macron…..another Trudeau !!
Voytek Gagalka says
“Goal is to follow them.” That can be done only if one has unlimited police resources. Even if France continue to be rich country for now, sooner or later (rather sooner than later) they will not be “rich” enough to “follow them,” particularly when ranks and files of “them” will grow exponentially in near future. That particular method of war by Mohammedans is called “jihad by making France bankrupt as soon as possible.” Good luck with that attitude, Monsieur “potential-near-future” French president!
Salome says
So, Macron will likely win. Perhaps he will be basically o.k., but not great, and will do nothing about the Islamic Issue. Next election could therefore see the fulfilment of Houellebecq’s prophecy.
BlueRaven says
” Macron’s reaction to the terror attack Thursday has been what he’s called a “spirit of responsibility in this extreme period” and described terrorism as, “part of our daily lives for the years to come.”
He is more dangerous than Jihadies for saying that. The Jihadies are going to run riots if he is elected. He reminds me of the Candian PM. Crazy leaders and crazy times.
Guy Jones says
I saw a quote by Macron, in the Wall Street Journal, that, if accurate, demonstrates his abject naivete, stupidity and moral bankruptcy. Something to affect of, he would take on the “threat” of “nationalists.”
I would humbly submit that any politician who aspires to lead France in the present age and sincerely believes that “nationalists” comprise the greatest threat to French secular democracy and the values of the Enlightenment, is an utter and complete fool.
Rufolino says
Hard to imagine an individual less-suited to lead France at this terrible time.
Arthur says
Macron described terrorism as, “part of our daily lives for the years to come.”
… well … OK … part of your daily lives for the years to come. Macron doesn’t live in your neighborhood.
Matthieu Baudin says
Emmanuel Macron looks to be the ‘new face of inaction’ in the current international war against violent jihad insurgencies. He may turn out to be little more than a continuation of the ‘lost in the woods’ Socialist Party from which he emerged.

If France votes for Macron, they will have none to blame but themselves. A death-wish in the making, Apparently, the MSM and the leftist scourge deem anyone whose political bent is to the right, they are extremists. Meanwhile, it is the leftist contagion that has placed not solely France, EU, and the UK in great peril but all Western Democracies.
The MSM has demonized the right of center political doctrine for decades. It is, they, however, who, in the end, shall pay the ultimate price when Islam conquers Europe and the UK. If they have not already triumphed.
The days of the French Revolution will pale by comparison to the Islamist subjugation.
