This attack should lead European authorities to realize that they’re in a war, and that it’s getting worse, and that they’re not winning, and that they need to undertake a drastic reassessment of their approach to this whole problem. But it probably won’t.
“Paris attack: Isis claims responsibility for shooting that left one police officer dead,” by Jon Sharman, Lucy Pasha-Robinson, and Katie Forster, Independent, April 20, 2017:
Extremist group releases statement saying attack was carried out by Belgian Isis fighter
A police officer has died and two are seriously wounded after a shooting near the Champs-Elysees boulevard in Paris.
Isis have claimed responsibility for the attack, in which the officer was said to have been killed while in a car stopped at a red light.
A report citing a police source said the person who fired on officers had been killed in turn. Officials said the suspect had previously been flagged as an extremist.
The Paris prosecutor’s office said it had identified the attacker and was looking into whether he acted alone. Raids are ongoing in the city, it was reported.
A police source said the shooting was very probably a “terrorist act”, according to Reuters, while other reports suggested robbery may have been the motive.
The French interior ministry said it was too early to judge the reason behind the attack, but a counter-terrorism inquiry has been opened.
‘It looks like another terrorist attack,’ says Trump of Paris shooting….

“The French interior ministry said it was too early to judge the reason behind the attack, ”
Hmm, perhaps they should read what isis says its motive is,
it’s not like they make a secret of it,
they publish their own magazine and online propaganda explaining exactly what their motive is,
the global dominance of islam,
pretty simple to see if you actually LOOK for the answer.
Rog Stresman says
What is staggering in this computer age is that IS and other maniacs can have an internet presence and be allowed to publish online newsletters, magazines and bulletins which will inspire and glorify others. The technology must be there to shut them down and block them the second they appear. Or would that be Islamophobic and infringe their human rights? Also, they thrive on the oxygen of publicity: shut it off.
Darryl Kerney says
Problem is they publish outside the jurisdiction of our law enforcement.

Islamic State claims Paris jihad shootings, says Muslim from Belgium was the shooter

Apparently this Jihadist had tried to kill police before–he was sentenced, then *let out early*. Why should it shock anyone that he tried again?

Prison is said to serve three basic purposes: general deterrence, specific deterrence, and incapacitation, or keeping the criminals isolated from the general population.
One of the goals is to rehabilitate the individual.
Killers such as these moslims who kill for islam, cannot be rehabilitated. They don’t pay any attention to the others who are incarcerated as a “general deterrence” for their own activity. The only way to stop them, short of capital punishment, is to keep them isolated from the general population because…they cannot be rehabilitated and they will kill until they themselves are dead.
Rufolino says
Prison systems are so effective these days that prisoners don’t get rehabilitated, they get radicalized instead.

Malbek a neighborhood in Brussels is known as a breeding ground for Islamic terrorism, French and Belgian law enforcement are have been working closely together since the attacks in Brussels and Nice. . These muzzie terrorists see France and Belgium as their colonies, Europe has to unite and fight against Islam Nazism’s counterpart, the world’s vilest ideology. Nazism has been defeated, the victory against Islam is still in the future.

“Officials said the suspect had previously been flagged as an extremist.”
The media are still playing the sweep it under the carpet game. He’s not an extremist, he is a Jihadist. How many more attacks before the media drop the opaque reporting? The West is in the middle of a religious war and political leaders and media don’t want the public to know.

Belgium has always been the weak link in French security. The Germans exploited it on several occasions
in their bids for world domination. Now as part of the EU the Islamists do with the same motivation.
FRENCHMEN,VOTE MARINE LE PEN, TO ADDRESS THE ISLAMIC PROBLEM AND GET OUT OF THE EU WHICH HAS TURNED OUT TO BE THE CURSE OF ANY SELF RESPECTING COUNTRY NOT WISHING TO BE RULED BY THE CORRUPT BRUSSELLS BUREAUCRATS !!!

Is it coincidence that Brussels, effectively the capital of the European Union, also hosts Molenbeek, the most dangerous Muslim beachhead in Europe?

Yep clearly a terrorist attack if Europe don’t wake up there won’t be a Europe

Today, out of nowhere, I started hearing this song, from a while back, in my head:
“The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire
the roof, the roof, the roof is on fire
the roof, the roof, the roof is on fire….
WE DON’T NEED NO WATER LET THE M*THERF**KER BURN
BURN M*THERF**KER, BURN.”
– I guess that “somehow” my subconscious deemed this song very appropriate to events going on the world today.
