Muslim who brought guns to Sioux Falls Christian conference charged with terrorist threats

Apr 22, 2017 2:07 pm By Robert Spencer

This is good. What is unconscionable is how long it took. It was initially announced that he wouldn’t face charges, even though in his video he pulled out weapon after weapon while declaring, “Be f**king terrified,” in accord with the Qur’an’s command to “strike terror in the enemies of Allah” (Qur’an 8:60). Apparently officials initially concluded that to charge him would be “Islamophobic,” but have now bowed to popular indignation, as well they should.

“Man Who Brought Guns To Sioux Falls Conference Charged With Terrorist Threats,” Kelo, April 21, 2017 (thanks to the Geller Report):

The man in a viral Facebook video broadcasted live outside a Christian Conference in Sioux Falls earlier in April has been charged with one count of a terrorist threat.

45-year-old Ehab Jaber’s charges come from the alleged incident on April 9. In his Facebook Live video, he was seen with a number of firearms.

When authorities searched his home, they seized firearms and meth.

Jaber spoke on Facebook about the incident earlier this week.

More than 300 people turned out for the event with a former Muslim turned Christian pastor Shahram Hadian and Christian Radio Host Brannon Howse.

Jaber’s video showed him in the parking lot of the Sioux Falls hotel and in the event.

“I did not go to a Christian conference to hurt anybody. I went to protest. I went to protest an anti-Muslim rally,” Jaber said earlier this week.

Jaber says he went to join the pro-Muslim protest outside the hotel….

They took that long to charge him and the eccuse was Islamaphobia? Give me a break. This is no more than the backup story. So they found meth at his house big deal every snitch has that at his house! Now that he has been arrested the FBI or DHS can say he is the real thing. The man didnt committ a crime except bad acting! Again I’ll say it; why would anyone be frieghtened by an unloaded legal firearm. If the supervisor running this sting doesn’t know how to fix this problem he should be doing something else for a living. What they need is to find his safe house filled with some C4 and a machine gun. Thst would sell better. If I sound jadded with federal law enforcement I am. They reached my limit two years ago concerning their preppe attitudes and when they politicised their departments under Obama.

gun control of one group is a slippery slope. better we all carry, and neutralize the threat accordingly.

Nothing worse than an ex-Muslim for these Muslim guys!!

In much of the Islamic world, as a convert, pastor Shahram Hadian would not be able to go to a church, he would not be able to speak freely about Islam. He could, but he would end up in prison or someone would try to kill him, if there was not the death penalty for leaving Islam in that country.

The man with the guns claims to have come to the conference to join a pro-Islamic rally. Most people are around worrying about being called an Islamophobe, but the most prominent Islamophobes for the Muslims [and organizations] are the ex-Muslims [or Muslim reformers]. Muslims view Islamophobia through a sharia law lense. Which is completely separate from the Left’s anti-racism campaigns.

I’m thinking why would you show up at a Christian conference – where people are reading the Bible, with that many guns! Mind you it seemed the guy was also on meth. But it does speak to the idea, that in Islam apostasy equals treason. Apostates are against Islam, or the enemy of Islam. In modern terms, think you have your definition of Islamophobia right there!

Does he regularly drive around with that amount of firepower, thinking he might have to get “dangerous” with some ‘stupid’ person?

Responsible, mentally-sound firearm owners don’t feel the need to leave the house with the whole or half collection. Then post “lookee here, be afraid!” on live FB.
Meth + islam don’t mix well.

“Again I’ll say it; why would anyone be frieghtened by an unloaded legal firearm.”

There is no way you can know if the firearms were unloaded, Frank.

Unlike you, I am an expert on firearms and I have no way of knowing, without physically looking into the open chamber of each firearm, whether or not it is loaded – and neither do you, Frank.

As Undaunted so eloquently put it, “You are a fucking idiot Frank.”

Well, let’s ponder the situation in Europe for just a bit, were it is illegal for good guys to have guns. Seems like the populace is terrorized by Jihadis who shoot them down on an increasingly regular basis.

Think that will happen in America where the number of AR-15’s is greater than the population? Or where up to 15 million Americans are Carrying Concealed – a number that continues to increase year after year?

The Jihad murders expand day by day and your plan is to disarm America – wonderful thinking Kris, just superlative!

  14. Monty says

    Apr 22, 2017 at 6:59 pm

No doubt the publicity given to this incident forced the authorities to do something. I’m ex Navy and only limited exposure to guns. But I know as much as I want. They are exceptionally good at killing. And I do not have X-Ray vision. How do I know if it is loaded? And I am not a mind reader. Someone telling me I should be afraid? He’s got a gun? What next? Australia has strict gun laws. There are 30,000 reasons for that as we watch Americans exercise their freedom by killing one another. At the same time I feel that we are not as prepared for the next armed conflict because few Australians know how to shoot. There must be a middle way, but I’m not that clever.

    • Undaunted says

      Apr 22, 2017 at 8:07 pm

I apologize, Monty. That was impolite.

To try to answer some of your questions:

      – Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. I’m a former homicide detective and never in my career arrested a single firearm of any type.

      – If you take pistol training, they will teach you “The Four Laws of Firearm Safety” number one of which is that you should treat all weapons as if they are loaded. And that’s good advice. I never do what’s called a “press check” on any of my weapons to see if there’s a round in the pipe ready to fire. Why? Because if it’s my gun, it has a round in the chamber ready to fire. Period. So, when you see someone with a gun, assume it’s loaded.

      – Yes, Australia has strict gun laws. Please read the article at the link for some insight into the results of those laws. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-04-28/fact-check-gun-homicides-and-suicides-john-howard-port-arthur/7254880

      – The exercise of 2d Amendment rights by Americans is much more often manifest by a person protecting himself and/or those he loves than by bad-guys running around shooting innocent women and children. Moreover, the stats on “gun violence” count Suicide the same as Murder. Sorry. As a former homicide guy, the two are not the same.

      – Wouldn’t the next armed conflict be fought by the Australian Army? If you’re talking armed attacks in the streets by Muslims becoming more frequent and you’re concerned because Aussies don’t have much training in firearms and their tactical use, maybe you should check out Australia’s version of the doctrine of competing harms. It goes like this: Let’s say it’s illegal where I live for me to carry a concealed pistol but because of a specific threat made against me that the police can’t protect me from, I take it upon myself to break the no-weapons law and I begin to carry a concealed pistol on my person when I go to where I might run into this dangerous person. One day, while minding my own business, this big asshole jumps up from behind a mulberry bush and charges me screaming that I’m about to die at his hand. In response I take out my pistol and shoot that fucker in the chest and he dies there in the street. The competing harms doctrine looks at my predicament this way:

      1. The state was “harmed” when I broke the no-weapons law and concealed my Browning Hi-Power on my person.

      2. I could have been harmed by the now-deceased attacker but I wasn’t but only because I broke the law.

      3. Which is the lesser harm? Me carrying a concealed pistol in order to defend myself when I know there is a threat and the cops can’t always be there to save my ass.

I happen to live in a state in the US where I can carry concealed or open-carry. I choose to carry concealed in order to keep the element of surprise in my favor, if the situation arises. If I lived in a place where all weapons were banned or some other legal machination was in place to keep out of my hands a weapon I felt I needed to protect myself and those I love, I would break that law; I would carry concealed. I’m not suggesting anyone else should do so.

Not sure if that’s a middle way, but I hope it helps.

    • Undaunted says

      Apr 22, 2017 at 8:15 pm

Oops. I should have added that the Doctrine of Competing Harms would be my defense in this situation. It is a tried and true defense so… there you go.

This video I think was his attempt to bring a protest (since he made a video) against open carry laws….maybe a way to bring more control…..his t-shirt says he is a muslim, he is doing his legal open carry…to the extreme and wanted to make a stir. If the laws were changed as a result of this video, he would still have these weapons. He arrives at a church event but does noting but do a video…and remark about the number of cars ie people at the event. At the end of the video he seems to say F..k it, against his whatever. so he just slandered his you know who… and broke his sharia law.ooops….So did he arrive to do a shooting…did he arrive to make a video….did he arrive with a T-shirt that hat says I am a muslim as a statement for the video…did he change his mind, was he there to protect who or kill who? Did he want to get arrested? cha ching…or just make the video to frighten future Christian events or is he planning and broadcasting for other muslims. This is tough under the U.S. laws so he must have had damaging information on his computer. I guess in the future all cars should be stopped and checked or a sign that says cars with arsenals park in gated area…but you know he wouldn’t. This is life with the peaceful muslims who read unholy books that sparks feuds and don’t need drugs to be angry.

There is just too much evidence now: Muslims are all a problem. They only vary in intensity.

We must somehow convince enough non-Muslims that Muslims should live their very own Utopian Muslimland (probably the middle east), where they can kill, rape and mutilate each other with self-righteous impunity.

Then the West can get on with living free and reasonable lives (after the trials of anti-West-pro-Muslim traitors are over).
