“O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as friends. They are friends of one another. And whoever is a friend to them among you, then indeed, he is of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.” (Qur’an 5:51)
And not only that: Muslim women are forbidden in Islamic law to marry non-Muslim men. So the Muslims who tortured this Christian man believed they were doing the righteous thing before Allah.
“Christian man tortured in Pakistan for ‘befriending’ Muslim woman,” PTI, April 17, 2017 (thanks to S.):
LAHORE: A 21-year-old Christian man was allegedly assaulted and burnt with hot iron rods by the family of a Muslim woman for ‘befriending’ her in Pakistan’s Punjab province, according to a media report.
Ansar Masih first established contact with the Muslim woman two years ago and their friendship grew with time, Dawn News reported.
They often spoke over phone and Masih would also visit the woman’s neighbourhood to meet her, according to the First Information Report (FIR) signed by Masih’s sister at a Sheikhupura police station.
When the woman’s family learned of the friendship, her father, Manzoor, and her brothers called Masih’s father asking him to tell his son to stay away from the woman, warning them of dire consequences if their instructions were not followed, the FIR stated.
Earlier this month, Ansar’s mother sent him to run an errand in the woman’s neighbourhood where he was allegedly kidnapped by the accused and his two sons, the report stated.
The three unclothed him, beat him and burned him using hot iron rods, it said….

Christians should always steer clear of muslims. Muslims are rotten to the core and don’t deserve any friendship.
Kay says
What happened to the assaulters?
mortimer says
Guess, Kay. They’ll have difficulty finding witnesses to testify on behalf of the dirty kufaar. Anyone who helps the kufaar is considered an enemy to Islam paramount to being a traitor. Traitors should be executed. Christians accused in Muslim countries have trouble finding a lawyer to defend them for the same reason. Their lawyers are likely to be threatened.
Koran 28:86 “Do not support the kafireen in any way.”
Koran 5.51 “He amongst you who turns to them (for friendship) is of them.”
Koran 40:35 “They who dispute the signs (verses) of Allah without authority having reached them are greatly hated by Allah and the believers.” (Note: not just “hated”, but “greatly hated”.)
Koran 48:29: “Muhammad is God’s apostle. Those who follow him are violent to the unbelievers, but compassionate to one another.”
Koran 4: 101 “The kuffar are for you a clear enemy.”
Koran 8:60 “Terrorize the enemy of Allah and your enemy”
Koran 60:4 “We have rejected you, and there has arisen between us and you enmity and hatred, until you believe and worship Allaah alone.”
Kay says
Too sad. I am waiting for justice and mercy, mercy for the persecuted.
mortimer says
Diplomats from our Western countries will negotiate for the ‘mercy’. There is no mercy in Muslim countries for dirty kafirs who don’t even deserve to live.
Pray for the diplomats to have a breakthrough.
Kay says
@ Mortimer
Ok. Will do.
gravenimage says
Kay, Christians can expect no justice in Pakistan.
Shane says
We can’t help Christians in Muslim countries without declaring those countries to be persecutors of Christians and considering all Christians to be refugees. We can and should stop all immigration from most Muslim countries except for victims of persecution. You can join NumbersUSA and the ACLJ to send free faxes to your politicians to change our insane immigration policies and to fight the persecution of Christians in Muslim countries!

Look at this beutiful woman. This is Marsil Nazmi – Egyptian Coptic Christian, writer, journalist and activist, and advocate of freedom of divorce.
In February 2017 her book “I want Divorce” was published in Egypt.
The book tells about Coptic women suffering under the law banning divorce by other than adultery reasons, imposed on Coptic community by the Coptic clergy using Muslim State.
The concept of banning divorce by other than adultery reasons is based on the misunderstanding (rather deliberate heresy!) of Gospel verses from Matthew 19, in which Jesus in fact endorsed the Moses’s rule of “giving divorce certificate”, thus, approving divorce by non-adultery reasons, stating that “Not everyone can accept this word (the word of staying in marriage, staying of “two as one flesh”, not abstaining from marriage as the heresy says), but only those to whom it has been given”. And those to whom “it has not been given”, thus have a divine option of divorce.
The Clergy of MENA using that heresy does nothing but pours water on the mill of Islam. Muslims are taught to view Christians of MENA as total idiots (and the practice is really totally idiotic and demonic). Then they come in the West and take the Western Christians for advocates of the heresy they saw among MENA Christians.
Therefore I would like to say: NOT IN MY NAME! I DO NOT WISH TO HAVE ANYTHING COMMON WITH THE HERESY OF DIVORCE BAN.
Everyone should know that the problem of divorce ban is not some marginalised problem of MENA Christians. It is on the headlines of MENA newspapers almost on a daily basis. Ignoring that problem (including the interpretation of Matthew 19) means helping Islam.
Paul N Silas says
You are a liar, like your father, the “Father of lies”. You’ve twisted this verse and added to it’s meaning.
Furthermore, what does this have to do with the topic of a Christian man being tortured?
GO AWAY TROLL!
vladkoval says
I am not a troll, but yes – I have to post out off topic because I do not want the efforts of these people to go futile.
And it’s you whose father is the devil, since you advocate the heresy, which is lie.
Paul N Silas says
I suspect that you are either a Muslim yourself or one of Putin’s boys, sent here to divide and disrupt
I have a few simple questions for you: YES OR NO
Is Jesus Christ the Son of God?
Was He born by a virgin?
Did He die at Calvary on the cross?
Is He alive today?
FYI: I am a graduate of an accredited Seminary who served in the clergy for over 24 years and you sir are a troll!
vladkoval says
Your suspicion is so naive))
Yes, Jesus Christ is the Son of God
He was born by a virgin (who later gave birth to brothers of Jesus)
Yes, Jesus died at Calvary on the cross.
Yes, He is alive today
And He never hinted that divorce cannot be the free option of Christians, as your correligionists taught for centuries, destroying lives of millions of simpletons, and still do, like in the MENA.
Paul N Silas says
So in your Islamic opinion, beside me and the Elders of the Coptic church, Paul, Clemet of Rome, Augustine, Luther, Calvin, Billy Graham, D.L. Moody, R.C. Sproul, and John MacArthur are all “heretics”. (Your word, not mine)

In my Christian opinion – yes, they are heretics, in terms of their interpretation of Matthew 19
vladkoval says
“Paul” – I always knew letters of Paul are of more weight for you than Jesus’s words.
Read Paul’s Revelation for All Mankind (blessed are those who follow these words!)

This is blog of one Orthodox priest in Kiev – Andrey Dudchenko.
“For those who want to belive with mind”
He put online the the book “CHURCH AND SEX. THE FAMILY AND THE CHURCH. by Kozyrev Fedor Nikolaevich (also ortodox thinker)
That’s the book I took the idea from that concept of any antisexualism and divorse bans are false according to Matthew 19.
To my huge surprise, even among the representatives of the clergy there are persons with mind. Though, few. But will be many.

vladkoval, I don’t understand why you are spamming criticism of the Coptic Church all over Jihad Watch.
I have my quibbles with a couple of Coptic tenets myself, but over all Copts are the *victims* of Muslims, just as are other Christians. I’m no sure why you have decided that is unimportant.
vladkoval says
Gravenimage, the only reason why I did it is not to troll someone, but just to draw attention to the problem I do not see someone knows about, I do not see even the discourse on that topic in English-language Internet. While Matthew 19 is one of the most focused place in Arabic-language Internet.
I myself found out it just some weeks ago. And am still shocked.
Muslims always say about Matthew 19: Christian God hates sex and wants people to become monks, no divorce etc (who can accept this word let him accept it – the word of celibacy). And not only Copts but also other Othodoxes and Catholics do everything to confirm that nonsense.
You can say that there are many preachers in the West who are very reasonable about Matthew 19. Yes. In the West! But be sure, nobody knows them in the East. The East creates really mad image of Christianity.
Of course, muslims kill non-muslims not due to divorce. Of course, the problem is not in the very divorce of MENA Christians. But why not to deprive muslims from this reason of criticism? Be sure: millions moderate muslims, who in fact would be glad to leave Islam (I guess), really are afraid of Christianity which they think is like MENA “Christianity” with its divorce bans, monkery-over-marriage preference doctrines, etc. Thus, insted of being smart and win – we are losing. Because as long as we are not focused on the things that smear the image of Christianity (and first of it is dilemma of Matthew 19, wether someone likes it or not) – we will be losing. But who cares about it in a secular state? Almost no one, since it is a secular state. But had the state always been secular? Nope. There were wars and revolutions for the sake of secularity in Europe. Who remembers Russian Orthodox thinker Vasily Rozanov (1852-1918)? – whose works are word in word remind me current Coptic protests against the clerical laws. It was Rozanov who said back in 19th century that most of the clericals in Russia are in fact latent homosexuals, and they create the laws and books destroying the country, and the best solution is to burn all their books, because they ban divorce, and banning divorce is the best way to destroy marriage. – That’s how secularity came to hapless Russia – through millions of deathes, not by the mercy of clericals. (and I am really shocked such astuff is still in force in MENA).
Well, excuse me for the twisted post, but in short: sexual component of criticism against Christianity (and it is groundless component) will outweigh millions of abstract dogmatic components (like Trinity or Single Allah etc). That’s all. And it’s sad.
Jeanette says
Get the Muslims contained in the Middle East and let them kill each other.
All non-Muslim then should be warned not to go there, and informed that there will be no TaxVictim money spent to rescue them if they do go there and get into trouble.
Any non-Muslims who go there will be considered suicidal, and if they make it back, will have to undergo psychiatric evaluation.

Yes–Islam should be isolated. It was largely isolated from about 1800 until about fifty years ago, and that is the period when the West was safest.

*Hideous*–but no surprise. And it is unlikely that this poor man will receive any help from Pakistani police, who usually take the side of the Muslim thugs.

Why do western governments always keep silent while many christians are being persecuted in their homeland. Are you western people governed by lukewarm christians?
