Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Russia: Bomb filled with shrapnel explodes on St. Petersburg subway, Putin says terrorism possible

Apr 3, 2017 9:31 am By Robert Spencer

See what a scoundrel Putin is? He didn’t immediately rule out terrorism, the way a good Western leader would. This is a developing story, and it might turn out to something other than jihad attack, but given the propensity of jihadis to set off bombs in crowded public places, jihad cannot at this point be ruled out.

“Russia subway bomb blast: At least 10 reported dead,” by Mike Arroyo, Fox News, April 3, 2017:

DEVELOPING – At least one bomb blast on a subway train in St. Petersburg, Russia, Monday killed an estimated 10 people and wounded as many as 50 more, Russian officials said, in what President Vladimir Putin called a possible act of terror.

One of the blasts came from a device that appeared to be filled with shrapnel, Sky News reported. Putin said investigators were looking into all possible causes. Russia’s Fontanka newspaper reported that an unexploded device turned up at a different subway station as crews worked to deactivate it.

The train was going in between two stations in the center of the city, investigators said. Photos and video from the Sennaya Ploshchad station appeared to show wounded victims on the smoke-filled platform, and a train car with a door blown out. Frantic commuters reached out through the doors and windows, shouting, “Call an ambulance!”

Nobody immediately claimed responsibility for the blast. Andrei Kibitov, spokesman for the St. Petersburg governor, told Russian television 10 people were killed and 50 injured.

“People were bleeding, their hair burned,” a witness told Russia’s Life News. “My girlfriend was in the next car that exploded. She said that he began to shake. When she came out, she saw that people were mutilated.”

Crews closed all subway stations in the northern Russian city and evacuated passengers, administration officials said. Ambulances and other medical teams rushed to the scene.

“The causes are not clear, it’s too early. We will look at all possible causes, terrorism as well as common crime,” Putin responded….

Putin does not have to quibble about TERRORISM, THE Mark of ISLAM is all over this St. Petersburg Bombing. MORE & MORE the Muslim Savages are using Captive VICTIMS, in BUS,TRAIN or SUBWAYS, SMALL, CLOSED, PLACES THAT HAVE NO ESCAPE EXIT FOR THE WOUNDED.
PRAY THAT PUTIN’S JUSTICE SYSTEM IS NOT FILLED WITH MUSLIMS.

This just in from the wire services which are on site.

This blast and the murdering of non-Muslims have nothing – repeat, nothing – to do with Islam. Islam, it bears repeating, is a religion of peace (even though the word Islam translates into “submission”).

Watch here for future reports which will confirm that these killings had nothing to do with Islam.

Hopefully Putin won’t be a wimp and call it what it is not like the west , UK , Germany etc.

I’m sure Putin will call it what it is and not blame it on someone else. We now that it has to be Islam.

A few days ago I googled the NYT’s , 9/12/2013 letter that Putin wrote to the opinion page. ‘A Plea of Caution from Russia’, with a hand print. I read this post years ago when I learned that Russia had many terrorist attacks, and learned that Russia had a large Islamic population, especially in Russia that sometimes took to praying in the streets. His letter was about his awareness and desire to fight terrorism with cooperation from the U.S..I didn’t, but today I have heard about a train/ subway attack, that is being investigated. Another tragic situation that seems to occur around the world at different times causes not yet verified however suspicious.

Earlier I had listened to the video of Putins April Fools day joke, showing humor, saying” you have reached the Russian Embassy, your call is very important to us, to arrange a call from a Russian diplomat to your political opponent press one,” etc…from contacting a hacker to election interference press 3.” I found it funny, since it is all we hear in the media, that Russian hacked our election. I didn’t receive a call…and apparently it is investigated to disrupt our country and give many headaches. How strange the days have become, I remember the Cuban crisis, I only know that Russia under Krushchev( spelling) and response from a Democratic President Kennedy, the other party did not protest his success, Russians came to their senses and pulled the weapons outs. Those were the scariest days.
Dialogue should be made about concerns, but not the less than factual dialogue…to smear, at the same time unaware of actual undermining free speech, that wants to silence our speech on factual information that is important.

The “I didn’t” is about writing an opinion on JW of the letter, sorry I didn’t finish sentence.

Time to drag out islam experts from Hollywood and Ivy League, to once again explain the religion of peace, because bigoted dummies are daring to suspect who might be behind a familiar-looking type of bombing.
Seem to recall Russian (?) authorities sent warnings re Tsarnaevs to US, which were only glanced at, if not ignored altogether.

Whether this is or is not a case of Islamic terrorism, the communist mentality (think ideology, not simply economic system) of treating people as mere cogs for the engine of the state – to be disposed of as the state sees fit, and to be spoon-fed half-truths and lies as the state sees fit – did not suddenly disappear with the collapse of the Soviet Union. Ironically, the communist view of the human person as mere material (or often cannon fodder) has much in common with the mindset of an Islamic terrorist. The communist mentality is one Putin bought into as a KGB agent and FSB director. It’s not like that suddenly left during his years as the perpetually elected (?) leader of Russia.

There is good evidence that the FSB in fact helped facilitate Putin’s rise to power with the FSB bombing its own people.

Yes–Christianblood has claimed that Islam is not a threat in Russia at all–he has held that the the only threat to Russia are the ‘decadent’ values of the West, even when I have pointed out the terrible litany of Jihad terror attacks there.

But there will be no schadenfreud from me–I hate to see any Infidels harmed by barbaric Muslims–I want to see Russians stay safe from this savagery as much as I do Westerners.

I just wish apologists like Christianblood felt the same way.

Christianblood’s Russia defending echoes that of the Shoebats and their followers. Seriously, I’m not joking. The things CB have said about Russia, are similar to statements made by the Shoebats in their articles about Russia, as well as comments from their userbase. Coincidence?

This would be the perfect excuse for Putin to send the Russian army – and police – and all special forces – into *every* mosque in St Petersburg and *every* mosque in Moscow and all associated premises, businesses and properties (e.g. bookshops, imams’ houses, restaurants, you-name-it).

Surprise-raid, search; find anything at all ‘dodgy’?.. which I BET they would, if they looked properly… shut the damn things down and then dynamite the lot of them.

    Expel every imam, sheikh, etc.

Start rounding up and expelling every Mohammedan in St Petersburg and in Moscow who doesn’t have Russian citizenship papers all right and tight and in order; intern the ones who *do*.

In line with my previous comment on this post: please consider seriously the distinct possibility that this was an act, not of Islamic terrorism, but of a desperate despot, tyrant, propagandist, liar, and murderer named Vlad Putin, carried out by the FSB for Putin’s political ends.
