Trump administration undertaking “critical review” of American airplane sales to Iran

Apr 5, 2017 12:03 pm By Robert Spencer

Good. As I asked yesterday, “would Boeing have signed a deal to sell commercial jetliners to Nazi Germany?”

“Airplane Sales to Iran Put Under Critical Review By Trump Admin,” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, April 5, 2017:

The Trump administration is undertaking a critical review of Obama administration-era policies permitting the sale of American airplanes to Iran, which have been used in the past to ferry weapons to terrorists and conduct other illicit activities, according to U.S. officials familiar with the situation.

U.S. airline manufacturer Boeing announced on Tuesday that it had reached a memorandum of understanding with Iran guaranteeing the sale of up to 60 planes pending review by the Trump administration.

Sources who spoke to the Washington Free Beacon speculated the latest announcement, which was announced earlier in the day by Iran, could be meant to pressure U.S. officials to sign off on the deal.

While the newly installed administration had come under fire earlier this year for seeming to continue Obama-era policies meant to approve these sales, U.S. officials now tell the Free Beacon that all past and future deals are coming under review by the new administration as part of a larger assessment of the landmark Iran nuclear deal.

The review of sales between Boeing and Iran represent a first step to possibly canceling the deals, which have come under criticism by U.S. lawmakers and foreign policy experts who maintain the Islamic Republic will use the American aircraft to boost its air force and illicit weapons trade, according to multiple sources who spoke to the Free Beacon.

“Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control [OFAC] will be reviewing aviation licensing as part of the National Security Council’s ongoing interagency review of the Iran deal,” a Treasury Department official told the Free Beacon.

The move represents a departure from the Obama administration’s policy, which promoted the sale of airplanes to Iran across the United States and Europe….

Unbelievable! What ever happened to loyalty to America and its citizens. The United States became a laughing joke around the world under Obama. Iran is not our friend. Obama has made enemies of our allies and treated our enemies like allies. He truly tried to bring down America and he is still trying to behind closed doors. President Trump has an abundance of repairing of our Country and our allies.

Exactly Obama was a treacherous president and is still working to put America in harm’s way. The Iran deal was the stupidest deal in American history. The Trump administration obviously goes back to senses.

Exactly. Obama even gave Iran $1.5 Billion in cash (No U.S. currency) and other bundles of cash. Get yourself a TOR browser and check out the “dark” webz….

Having deep knowledge of Boeing and its “leadership” circus, I can tell you they are loyal to one thing and one thing alone: acquisition of the almighty dollar.

What’s the big problem with selling jet liners to Muslims (Iran) as this way makes it easier to hijack planes from their own country. It prevents the theft of jet liners from the countries they are aiming the planes at ….. makes sense to me?

Fox News said today that the POTUS removed Steve Bannon from the National Security Council, which leaves nothing but a cast of arrogant fools led by know-nothing McMaster.

      This is really bad news.

Bannon is the only one in the West Wing who truly understands the Islamic threat.

Bannon is stiill Trump’s ‘political’ advisor which is the reason they cited for dismissing him from a National Security Advisory role. It’s McMaster for sure, Bannon has a solid military background.

I’m not disagreeing this is really lame.

But to look at this from a different perspective, we’d all be better off if neither Airbus nor Boeing sold Iran jets. Will Airbus cooperate with the Kafirs though, or will they sell out to the Muslims? If Airbus sells to them anyway, would it not be better for Americans to have these profits?

The advantage of America selling them jets, is we could install software/hardware to remotely sabotage them on the ramp when we go to war with Iran, or even hide internal GPS tracking devices to Tomahawk them on the ramp. We could also cease selling them replacement parts or providing technical assistance. Then the jets are useless ramp ornaments, but Americans still have the profits.

Due to the principle of it, all Kafirs should sell our enemy nothing. The question is: What will Airbus do? France has a history of selling advanced technology to people who wish us harm.

” France has a history of selling advanced technology to people who wish us harm.”

Yeah – our NATO “ally”, France, who couldn’t wait to help the Argentines kill British sailors in the Falklands by selling Exocet missiles to Argentina.

As the saying goes: “The more you do for people – the less they think of you….”

For several years, I have been perplexed by the business leaders of the world, in their avoidance of any mention of how the jihad threat affects their businesses. I have found no instances of any top level officers of any companies using the words, “Islam”, “Muslim”, or “jiahd”. The only thing I’ve seen are vague references to “geopolitical uncertainty”. Today (5 Apr 2017) there is an article on Bloomberg that explains some of the avoidance. Here is the link.

Boeing that signing financial deal with the Islamic tyranny of Iran is a reflection of the teachings found in my college economic textbook in an class on economics that I took in the twentieth century. For that college textbook informed the student that “Economic is an amoral system…” Those Boeing executives even added to that in its business dealing with that rouge Islamic state of Iran . For the Boeing executives who are so very willing to do business with cruel and oppressive tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran are executives businessmen who are totally devoid of ethics. As in they have no values or business ethics.
Those Boeing businessmen chief are therefore despicable. Shame be upon them.

The action being taken by the administration may very well have been prompted by yesterday’s Jihad Watch article about this sale. To me, this is just one example of how Robert Spencer and Jihad Watch are making a positive difference!

Iran would be happy to see the U.S.A. implode, and Boeing has the audacity to deal with Iran which makes the President the man on the hot seat. Apparently, Boeing is looking at the money involved, but I believe after sale,(if it is consummated) I think Boeing would be required to give service if any of those aircraft would require it.
Of all the nations to enable the “Death to America” Iranians, Boeing is fastened to a sale and of airliners with long range capabilities, an embarrassment to the United States, plus a very serious hazard.. They would be exactly what Iran needs to round out its scheme against the U.S.A. Iran already has an open invitation to fly into Venezuela, avoid Venezuelan Customs Dept. by landing at a Venezuelan A.F. airdrome. This has been going on for a few years. It has regular flights to-from Venezuela, so they have already penetrated into the American hemisphere
Any long-distance airliner can carry a nuclear device from Iran to the U,S.A.
Iran doesn’t need a strategic, long range, military-type bomber, the Muslims have found more uses for airliners than to fly airline routes carrying passengers.
We don’t need to appease Iran, that happened with Obama in the White House. I do hope that President Trump will intercede in this and bring Boeing to its senses. Boeing is among the top aircraft-building companies in our country, having supplied the U.S.A. with great aircraft, both civil and military.’Still, President Trump has to block such a sale to Iran!

I would say the same with Saudi Arabia. And to get out of Saudi Arabia. The US is not there to fight Muslim wars against other Muslims. Stop the insanity. US soldiers dying for who? This War BS needs to end. The US doesn’t need Saudi Oil.

American , British an Romanian troops are deployed with Polish troops on the eastern edge of Poland due to Russians invasion of Crimea. Yeah so much for friends of Vlad.

Trump’s admin should stop this Boeing deal with Iran. Since we are sanctioning Russia it’s the only reasonable course.
