An extremist who said he supported the killing of British soldiers has been appointed a director of a controversial Muslim pressure group with influence at Westminster…..Azad Ali, head of community development and engagement at Muslim Engagement and Development (Mend), said the Westminster Bridge attack last month was ‘not terrorism’.
According to RT, MEND is a lobby group which, campaigns against “Islamophobia,” a term that has been effectively marketed globally by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to silence critics of Islam. RT noted that MEND “lobbies MPs, the police, councils, teachers, and related groups on anti-Muslim prejudice.”
The Telegraph reported in April 2015 that MEND has “built links” with both the Tory and Labour parties, but that it was “a front group for Muslim extremists which wants to let British Muslims fight in Syria,” and that it “has boasted that it is ‘negotiating with the Tory and Labour leadership’ to secure some of its demands.”
Authorities in Britain and elsewhere should distance themselves from the word “Islamophobia” and disengage from any Muslim group with known jihadist ties. The pervasive phobia about being called “racist,” “Islamophobic” and “intolerant” is a chief stealth weapon of Islamic supremacists who are attempting to advance the Sharia in the West.
It is no surprise that the “Islamist” Azad Ali was appointed a director with MEND. In fact, it should have been expected.
“Islamist who claimed killing British soldiers was ‘justified’ becomes director of a controversial Muslim pressure group with influence over Westminster”, by Martin Robinson, Daily Mail, April 10, 2017:
An extremist who said he supported the killing of British soldiers has been appointed a director of a controversial Muslim pressure group with influence at Westminster.
Azad Ali, head of community development and engagement at Muslim Engagement and Development (Mend), said the Westminster Bridge attack last month was ‘not terrorism’.
Mr Ali said on Facebook that Khalid Masood, who murdered PC Keith Palmer and four pedestrians, should referred to as ‘a lone wolf’. The Met Police has been treating it as a terror attack.
He also said that the Government’s fury with WhatsApp for giving terrorists ‘a place to hide’ was ministers ‘trying to invade more of our privacy’, according to The Times.
His Facebook post came after it emerged that Masood had used the messaging service two minutes before he ploughed into at least 50 people with a 4X4 before stabbing PC Palmer to death.
Mr Ali has previously lost a libel action against several newspapers that said he was ‘a hardline Islamic extremist who supports the killing of British and American soldiers in Iraq by fellow Muslims as justified’.
Mr Ali’s lawyers at Carter-Ruck said his comments on the Westminster Bridge attack were ‘referring to terrorism in the sense of organised acts co-ordinated by terrorist groups’.
His legal teams also said Mr Ali considered it ‘a barbarous and cruel act of murder for which there was no possible justification or mitigation’.
In 2009 it emerged that Mr Ali, then an IT worker and president of the Civil Service Islamic Society, was suspended on full pay for six months following comments on his blog.
In one post Mr Ali quoted an interview with an Islamic militant who said: ‘If I saw an American or British man wearing a soldier’s uniform inside Iraq I would kill him because that is my obligation.
‘If I found the same soldier in Jordan I wouldn’t touch him. In Iraq he is a fighter and an occupier, here he is not. I respect this as the main instruction in my religion for jihad.’
Sir Gus O’Donnell, then Britain’s most senior civil servant and patron of the Civil Service Islamic Society, ordered that Mr Ali be suspended while an investigation was carried out.
Six months later the investigation finished and Mr Ali returned to his job.
His group Mend works with politicians on all sides, the police and the CPS to enhance the engagement of British Muslims in UK life.
Today The Times made a number of claims about the organisation.
It said that Labour’s Yasmin Qureshi, the shadow justice minister, accepted a £5,000 donation from Mend’s founder Sufyan Ismail – but failed to name him as the donor.
The newspaper also claims that The Charity Commission will speak to three charities over their funding of Mend speaking events.
At one an Islamic speaker considered to have extreme views told the audience that killing comes easily to ‘the children of Israel’…..

It is beyond belief that certain countries are not fighting for their citizens. Instead they bow down to islamic terrorists. The UK has become a terrorist hot spot and the government does nothing to protect their citizens.
Ian from Liverpool says
Name one country in the west that is not bowing down to these jihadists? If there is such a country in the West I’ll be emigrating to there.

Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, just to name a few. Although more Central / Eastern European, all of them are in the EU and are pretty clear in their stance about muslim “migration”. If the Western countries continue on their suicide route, Eastern Slavic countries will be the only refuge left for non-muslims (not counting Asian countries).
If you want proof, watch this speech by Hungary’s Prime Minister — Victor Orban. The way he brutally redpilled everyone makes this my favourite speech by any modern statesman.
Terry Gain says
I agree. When it comes to the reaction of western countries to Islam, I feel as though I’m living in an alternate universe where Stupidity rules.
Rufolino says
It isn’t just stupidity, it’s mind-boggling stupidity. And most people are deaf and blind. The outcome will most certainly be catastrophic for Europe, the end of Europe as we have known it.
Twenty years ago, few items in the News were about Islam
Today, half the items in the News are about Islam.
In twenty years’ time the news will be Islamic News.

You are sadly correct, Ian–every country in the West is headed down this path.
Irene Brekelmans says
How come another Islamist got appointed as director of MEND, how many Islamic organisations do you have now in England and who is paying their salaries? From what i read, I think you have an Islamic director to manage every building or a peace of town. What are you doing, have you all gone mad? It are not only muslims who are “mentally disturbed”, so you are, the people. Did somebody put something in your food to meddle with your brains, it’s unbelievable.
Have the courage to watch the video:Ann Barnhardt speaking, islamic sexuality, a survey of evil”, then you know what is waiting for you, your children and grandchildren. You can not tell them that you did not know,
because you do and I am telling it to you again, And I don’t care any more if it is islamophobic or political correct or incorrect, if you don’t see anything wrong wit this all, is will be all over in a short while and you will have to bear the consequences and they won’t be nice. Hope you cn stand the video, and these are facts and everything is written in de Koran. Have a nice quiet day !!!

Yea that Ann Barnhardt video is vomit inducing.

You give him a position in your government. How much were you paid to let this happen. What is wrong with ya. Stop being wimps. They are accommodated they should adhere to the laws. If they don’t like it here thrn go back where ya came from

Azad Ali is most likely thought of as a fine, outstanding Muslim who has been elevated by the UK Muslim community, which is completely insensitive to “the other UK population”, because the “other UK population” is insensitive to itself.
Supposedly, the UK elected a PM, who, because of her age and sex may have been thought of by Brits as the 2nd coming of Margaret Thatcher.
Not much time elapsed before Brits discovered that they no longer could even select a PM who would not be an appeaser. Appeasement seems to be firmly entrenched in the UK thought processes.
But, true to British nature, they will remain “unflappable” while their “Ship of State” keeps sinking until it is gone. Then, a few may say, “We could have done something to save Britain, but we trusted that we would never find ourselves “in the swamp and up to our arses in alligators.” “We never had intentions to do nothing (which is what they’re doing) and it would become progressively worse.”
Imagine, A Muslim migration is conquering Britain, where Hitler and his terrible legions could not!
“The road to he– is paved with good intentions!”
Jayell says
Hello Stan. For the umpteenth time, we Brits DIDN’T elect May as PM. She was the only one left propped up after the Brexit vote didn’t go the way THEY wanted to fiddle it, Cameron bottled out and the others did the same or were stabbed in the back, and Her Majesty had to appoint her to the job. Interesting way to run a country. The only person that anyone in the UK has any strong feelings about seems to be Nigel Farage, but he couldn’t even get into Parliament and his next career move looks like it just might be with your Mr. Trump. Good luck to both of them!

Yes–and grimly, Labour would have been even worse with the Islamophilic Jeremy Corbyn.

Ali’s presence in the Civil Service demonstrates yet again how extensively the Muslim rot has got into the UK establishment. We had a Muslim as Head of the CPS in the North West, where a lot of the grooming gangs were at it, so funny that it was all covered up and smoke-screened. We have a Muslim Head of Religious Broadcasting at the BBC (the Baptist chap was edged out). Why that is, is not clear, at least not with normal logic (but then, it’s the BBC here). I’m getting very fed up with this ‘Islamophobia’ word that seems to concern Ali, as it’s been explained over and over again that we are NOT talking about any ‘irrational fear’ here but an increasing dislike based on knowledge of Islam and Muslims. Likewise any antipathy towards Muslims is not ‘prejudice’ since no one is pre-judging anyone; we are assessing these people based on a knowledge of their creed and their appalling track record in the UK, and logically coming up with a predictable negative result. Ali + chums don’t like it? Message to Ali + chums; Hard cheese, me old mates, you made your beds, you lie on them. Better still, take your beds to somewhere nice and warm a long way south of Dover, and lie on them there, because that way you won’t be costing the UK taxpayer the £billions that you do at present, our prisons won’t be so crowded, and our young ladies will be able to walk our streets safely at night just like they were able to do before your lot decided to grace us (uninvited) with your presence.

The second crusades is coming soon, in every single western nation. Even the leftists will have a breaking point, whether or not that is before the Muslims outnumber us is the real question.

Muslim(s) playing both sides of the fence? Now, that’s a winning concept!

The Daily Mail or Jihad Watch or both seem guilty of sloppy journalism . We have
“Islamist who claimed killing British soldiers was ‘justified’ becomes …”
– giving the impression that Ali used the word ‘justified’, but I can find no evidence that he did.

This, from the article:
In one post Mr Ali quoted an interview with an Islamic militant who said: ‘If I saw an American or British man wearing a soldier’s uniform inside Iraq I would kill him because that is my obligation.

Unless Ali was criticizing this, then it is likely that he approved of these words. These words justify killing British soldiers. I am a real stickler for clear prose, Jedothek, but I cannot see a problem with this characterization.
Monty says
Gee, it would be a change for Islam to fight those who can fight back. How many civilians have died compared to how many soldiers? And If attacking the military is justified, so is retaliating. This is war. No one in leadership has the spine to defend Europe any more. The leaders are more concerned about how they will appear on CNN than protecting their citizens. Soon they won’t have a problem. Islam will take over and the leaders will be replaced. Or killed.
Michael Casmer says
Imagine during WWII a Nazi sympathizing Brit returning home after killing some British soldiers. Yeah, right.
Anne Smith says
Why is there a Civil Service Islamic society? Is there a civil service Buddhist society? Or a Hindu one, or a Christian one, or an atheist one?
Why are the Muslims permitted their own societies within work groups? Don’t they have enough mosques all over Britain already?
