What’s ironic is that Ariana Grande and all these stars are ready with their expressions of sorrow and horror over the jihad attack last night, but would be just as ready to denounce President Trump for “Islamophobia” for trying to prevent attacks like this one from happening. Ariana Grande has no words? Here are some: “This was a jihad attack. Those who hold to the jihad doctrine should not be welcome in the UK or anywhere else. I call for the defense of human beings against jihad and the defense of women against Sharia oppression. Let my concert in Manchester be the last time this cruel terror is inflicted upon the free people of any free nation.”
“Ariana Grande ‘broken’ after Manchester concert attack: ‘I don’t have words,’” by Emily Yahr, Washington Post, May 23, 2017:
Several hours after an explosion characterized as a “terrorist incident” killed 19 people after her concert tour stop at Manchester Arena in England, pop star Ariana Grande said she is “broken” in the wake of the horrific tragedy.
“from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry,” the 23-year-old singer tweeted late Monday night. “i don’t have words.”
About 50 other concertgoers were injured in the attack, according to Manchester police. U.S. security officials told The Washington Post that evidence suggested a suicide bombing. The explosion occurred outside the venue, just as Grande finished the show and people started to leave the arena.
Grande’s manager, Scooter Braun, also released a statement on Twitter: “Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and families harmed in this senseless attack. We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act. We are thankful for the selfless service tonight of Manchester’s first responders who rushed toward danger to help save lives. We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families, and all those affected in your hearts and prayers.”…
Throughout Monday night, tributes and condolences poured in from stars across the world…

“Throughout Monday night, tributes and condolences poured in from stars across the world…”
Pope Francis, Theresa May, and spokesmen for the EU, among other world leaders, including former President Obama (who momentarily interrupted his perpetual vacationing), have all condemned this bombing, and most importantly, have assured us,
that,
this had nothing – absolutely nothing – to do with Islam.
Whew!
RichardL says
I have not read anywhere that one of them has even used the word islam. That will come in a few days. They know how to continue this massive con job. For now it is extremism, terrorism and out thoughts and prayers, blah blah blah.
I find it sickening and wonder what they have sold their solds for. What could be so valuable that you help this evil to spread throughout civilisation?
Shone says
Oil, black gold, and money. That is why they have sold us.
John F says
Excellent reply. I feel the same way. Extremism bull$hit! It’s Islamic terrorism!
Donald R Laster Jr says
The standard refusal of “Progressives” to deal with reality. This was classic Islam that has been practiced for 1400 years.
Dennis says
What will it take for the people to wake up?
Lawrence says
People will never wake up. I realize that now.
Beagle says
I can understand pessimism as I felt that way for about a decade. But look at comments sections at the media outlets which still permit comments. Far more people are aware of the Islamic martyrdom cult than ever before.
But at the top of media, politics, government, education, judicial, military leadership, and law enforcement there is a stultifying political correctness which prevents understanding from influencing policy. While terrible, the roadblock is not a lack of widespread understanding by the citizenry at large. People get it. But those in positions of authority push propaganda and gaslight us rather than deal with the facts.
David wilson says
Common purpose, have you got that over there, it’s alive and well over here.
Jack Diamond says
I followed the bombing initially on The Sun website and was impressed by the hundreds (and hundreds) of comments by Brits expressing their knowledgeable and visceral hate & loathing for Islam, and for the leaders who have brought this situation to pass. This was long before the Muslim perp was identified, everyone knew what this was already. A few hours later I noticed the comment section had vanished. Exactly the point you are making.
gravenimage says
Actually, people are waking up–just excruciatingly slowly. We have to continue to get the word out.
Jeanette says
Even though I have posted that barring something we cannot currently foresee (divine intervention?), the West is doomed because it will not remove all Muslims, I still say:
NEVER GIVE UP!
I may go down, but I’ll go down fighting!
Rev g says
The attack was not senseless, Scooter, and it seems to have achieved it’s desired result.
Lawrence says
To be fair to Arianna, why put it all on her? She is just a youngster, a pop singer of fluff. The fault lies with all those who continued and continue to support Muslim immigration into the UK, which means all Tory and Labour voters. Most of those adults have the blood of their children on their hands, but who says this? People can’t face the ugly truth.
gravenimage says
True–many of our “leaders” are every bit as clueless.
Gen Jones says
Thank you, and agreed, Lawrence. She’s a 23 year old pop star who started out playing a ditz on a cute Disney show. Her singing talent is wildly overrated in my opinion but that’s what oldsters always say about youth. This is a hugh shock for her. And she obviously feels for her young, innocent fans. Let’s cut her some slack. Certainly in the future she can be a truth telling ally based on what she went through.
Monty says
A singer who is also a self appointed expert on Islam has no words? We can be grateful for this tiny mercy at least. It is astounding that the utterly self absorbed and over paid entertainers suddenly become experts on issues that confound the most learned of scholars, experienced of diplomats and people who are immersed in the culture. It’s been a long tradition and for once the “mouth” has some personal experience of the issues that real people face in the real world. Welcome to our world, Ariana. And yes, the Western world has only itself to blame. Ariana is a symptom, not the disease.
Matthieu Baudin says
“… Throughout Monday night, tributes and condolences poured in from stars across the world…”
Tributes? Do kids deserve ‘tributes’ for finding themselves stuck in the firing line?
Condolences? You’d think these kids died of natural causes or accidents by the tone employed.
These ‘stars’ are the red dwarfs; cold, dim and cluttering up the night sky.
Rev g says
I am sure a statement will be issued about the depravity of those who pervert the religion of peace Also there will be reminders not to make victims of all muslims, etc…..
underbed cat says
Ariana Huffington will surely make a similar statement in her post….just waiting…I am sure she will blame the deplorables and Trump and protect the ideology of peace.
underbed cat says
Ariana is not to blame, the young girls apparently loved her music…the ideology that hates is not tolerant of art, music and life….Islam is Islam, the verse calls for terror and someone acted…who followed the Quran, that hides under the cover of religion which people assume would be peaceful. Don’t the believe of the assumption.
tony46 says
A lot of words of condemnation,…no words promising action. As usual.
dragaozao says
Yes, Robert your are right. Those should be the words that she ought to say. But, you know, that would require character, knowledge, lots of intelectual integrity, courage and, above all, humility to recognize “we were wrong”. That will never happen.
RAB says
It’s too bad that there will have to be many more of these “incomprehensible” terrorist attacks before the useful idiots and the general public wake up and realize that this is not a “tragedy” or a “cowardly” act but the martyrdom of a devout Muslim who is carrying out the will of Allah as clearly defined in the Koran and by that model for all of humanity, the “prophet” Muhammad.” How could something so painfully obvious not be recognized immediately?
carol says
There often seem to be monetary incentives for the devoutly “suicidal”:

Ariana can only truly express her beliefs inside a doughnut shop. Send her to one and I’m sure she will have words to speak.
agnishtoma says
You are right RCH. Absolute brainless Bimbos like Alia Bhat, pro jihadi rascals like Karan Johar etc are the role models for majority of the Indians from the North. It is a blessing that to some extent the south is insulated to this brainless but swiveling crap
DabigRagu says
When you rant as Ariana did about President Trump proposing to tighten immigration to enhance national security and a Muslim ISIS-backed suicide bomber — in a country with no immigration controls — kills your fans and injures dozens more at your concert months later. Oh, the irony.
Jeanette says
Fans could choose not to attend her concerts and not to buy her albums. That would get her attention.
But fans have an odd sense of integrity, in my experience.
D-spot says
All humanity is diminished by these ongoing atrocities. The usual rhetoric follows from our seemingly hamstrung leaders – but if these persons are ‘known to police’ (is this in the Biblical sense?} for it seems they are unable to stop or foil many of these horrific activities (yes, I’m aware there are many that have been). It would seem to me that this violence will continue to accelerate as there is no accountability or even remorse why would you with 72 virgins waiting in the wings – maybe jail time on the taxpayer dime or some time at a terrorist rehab – really!!
Calls to ‘wake up’ – OK then what? One of the posters on this site came up with a brilliant idea (I think) – for every person killed by any muslim 10 imams are sent out of the country and 10 mosques are closed, including the one the terrorist attended. There has to be a price to their community, as it stands now there is none, so no pressure to stop this from within the muslim community, at least not that we see reported.

“‘I don’t have words,’” – I have: Mohammed, you stupid.

Ariana Grande “broken” after Manchester concert jihad massacre: “I don’t have words”
……………………
I am not the biggest fan of her music, but that Jihadists have caused her so much distress is just one more disgusting aspect of Islam.
It would probably be too much to hope that this young woman will now start to educated herself about Islam and the threat it represents to us all, though.
Jeanette says
And too much to hope that her fans will stop buying tickets or CDs/albums.
I doubt that the Manchester attack will make any lasting impression on her, but a cessation of her income would get her attention.
gravenimage says
I think she is sincere. Probably clueless about Islam, though.
xcc says
How did the extremist get the bomb in?
Donald R Laster Jr says
Probably had a ticket or claimed he was there to pick up a child or other person at the show. From the items have read someone appears to have gotten suspicious and was going to kick him out. So he set off the bomb ahead of time. If he had set it off 10 to 15 minutes later the number of people killed will have been a lot more.
Jeanette says
it’s about time that these entertainers who make more money than God had to pay out of their own pockets for the securing of the venues at which they are going to perform.
The taxpayers should not have to carry those costs, which are going to grow very quickly, I suspect.
Creole Gumbo says
Her vocabulary is too small for words.
mortimer says
Ariana Grande should sit down and ask herself why the 23-year-old jihadist Salman Abedi wanted to kill her.
The answer to that question may take her years to confirm. The answer in brief is that JIHADISM is normative Islam, rather than an aberration.
Gen Jones says
Indeed. Also I think that the jihadi was about the age of the performer was part of the equation. She’s an alluring infidel vixen who named her tour Dangerous Woman. He’s a socially and sexually frustrated low IQ memorizer of the Quran who was sexually aroused by her haram performances. So much in Islam boils down to hatred of women and hatred of all the beautiful things in life.
carol says
Anyone who dangles an oasis before a man crawling through the Islamic desert is hateful indeed!
Fred M Huff says
There is none so blind as he who will not see. Pretty much describes these liberal idiots.
UNCLE VLADDI says
Ariana Grande is a vile leftopath who once snuck into a donut store and licked all the donuts, claiming “I HATE AMERICA!”
She supports islamic immigrants and it totally pro-islam.
Her evil state of mind SHOULD BE ‘BROKEN’ by this…
But I’m betting it won’t be. She’ll double-down.
carol says

blackcat mendoza says
I apologize if this has been raised earlier, I can’t read all the comments.
Maybe this “speechless” pretty little canary could express herself better by donating the evening’s profits to start a Trust Fund designed to support the remaining victims and their families.
Never happen!
